Sqlldr v11 Unable to locate character set handle for character set ID

Having recently migrated to a 11g oracle database(11.2.0.1.0) from 9i on a test server, running SQL loader gives/throws the above error.
I've seen a few posts about this but with pretty vague explanations, below is what my bash profile looks like though and i compared NLS_PARAMETERS to another server that already has version 11 running.

Go to command Prompt -
(Win 7/Vista) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES, right mouse click "Command Prompt", choose "Run as Administrator".
(Win XP SP2 & above) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES/Command Prompt
In the "Command Prompt" screen, type in
netsh winsock reset
Hit "ENTER" key
Restart your computer.
If you do get a prompt after restart windows to remap LSP, just click NO.
Now launch your iTunes and see if it is working now.
If you are still having these type of problems after trying the winsock reset, refer to this article to identify which software in your system is inserting LSP:

If they were songs you purchased from itunes, try redownloading them from your purchases...
if that doednt work, make sure the optuon to copy files to itunes media folder is checked in settings, then find and download from the net. and re-add them to your library -

Unable to locate printer. Brother MFC-J200 CUPS
Hi, I installed cups and the printer's drivers and I can configure the printer. But, when I try to make print the test page, I get this error: Unable to locate printer BRW9CD21E90F93E.local". and I looked in the wiki and on different forums, tried different methods to solve this but I still can't print anything because it can't locate it. Anyone knows how to solve this problem? Thanks in advance.
You're not going to find that file. That's BRW + 12 digit hex code + .local. The hex code is likely random for each print job. It was likely never created in the first place.
That PKGBUILD has a bunch of errors. Ask the maintainer to fix it. If you would like to be able to discuss the package intelligently you can compare it with my PKGBUILD for the brother-mfc-j870dw. Here are some of the more glaring errors.
* The cupswrapper generator can be run in build() which eliminates the install and the forgotten uninstall.
* No uninstall section as found in the debian package. My package was able get pacman to do all the work and do away with the install completely.
* Allows the installer to run the init scripts. Fortunately they aren't there anyways. cups doesn't need restarting to see new printers.
* Left in the installer that modifies /etc/printcap and fixed it to use /etc/printcap. I see the word .local here so this might be the source of your error.
* ldd shows that the executables do not use libstdc++5. No go for 64 bit users unless the 32 bit v6 is already installed.
* The RPM is no better or worse than the DEB, except that RPM is directly supported by pacman and does not require yet another AUR download.
* Forgot dependency on ghostscript
* || return 1 should be removed. makepkg always has this flag set. This PKGBUILD must be ancient.
There's probably more but I'd need to fix the PKGBUILD to find them all. I'm fortunate that I started with a much better PKGBUILD than this one. -

OD Master/PDC, 10.4.11, why xp clients unable to locate domain controller?
After a migration/upgrade from 10.3.9 to 10.4.11 Server, windows XP clients are intermittently unable to log in to or even bind to the PDC running on that server.
I did a clean format and install from the 10.4 media, choosing the standalone server type, and applied all the Software Updates, I got forward and reverse DNS working for my zone, then I followed the instructions at http://www.afp548.com/article.php?story=20050615173039158 to move my OD from a working 10.3.9 server to 10.4.
This server goes against the usual recommendations, as it provides DNS, OD master, PDC and file services to 32 clients all in the same subnet, 20 running Windows XP SP2 and 12 running OS X Client 10.4.x or 10.5.x.
File services and various other users of the OD/LDAP, for example Wildfire Jabber/XMPP server and Apache2/LDAP running on a separate Linux server, are able to authenticate against the new 10.4.11 OD.
However, at this point the symptoms become intermittent approx. 40% of the Windows XP clients were unable to log in with various domain accounts, yielding errors of the form "Unable to find domain FOO". If I remove a client from the domain by joining it to WORKGROUP and rebooting, then try to join FOO again, I'll get an error, "Unable to locate Domain Controller for FOO..."
The set-up:
My server's FQDN is myserver.foo.example.com
The server's DNS is authoritative for the 10.10.10.0/24, foo.example.com zone and I have the trailing dot's in the right places, so ping myserver.foo.example.com, ping myserver, and ping 10.10.10.10 (server's example IP from the foo.example.com zone) all work correctly.
The DHCP server for this vlan is providing my DNS server to the clients, but is providing no netbios server. The XP clients are all set to use the DHCP server setting, which, according to the TCP/IP Advanced Settings panel, means that they'll revert to netbios over tcp/ip since no wins server is specified.

Should my Windows service on 10.4.11 be providing WINS or not? If so, should the DHCP server be set to point the clients to it? If not, how do the XP clients reliably resolve the FOO domain?
Why did all these XP clients work fine with a 10.3.9 Windows PDC but don't work with 10.4.11?
Another strange point - I can use the XP-side 'net view' command to poke around and things look reasonable. I.E. even the clients that aren't joined to the domain and can't locate the domain controller will return sane results for 'net view /domain:FOO'.The new PDC does use the same domain name as the old PDC, and the SID mismatch is at least partially to blame. After I'd performed the upgrade and confused the windows clients, I saw the advice on using samba's net command to duplicate the old PDC's SID to the new PDC. Maybe someday I'll have the opportunity to try that.
I resorted to removing all the XP clients from the domain and re-joining them. The XP clients were still able to contact the domain intermittently. I used various command-line tools on the XP side, including the built-in net command as well as some others I downloaded such as the quite useful http://www.joeware.net/freetools/tools/findpdc/index.htm, as well as the client-side error messages during the domain join attempts and the messages in the Event log, to determine that the clients couldn't find the domain.
The XP client TCP/IP settings state that the clients will revert to using netbios if no WINS server is specified, but that clearly wasn't working reliably, so I just enabled the WINS server on the PDC, told the DHCP server to hand out its address for the netbios-related options for that subnet, rebooted the PDC, waited a while for things to settle out, and now all the clients can reliably find the PDC.
I still have no idea why the WINS-less set-up worked in 10.3 server but didn't work in 10.4 server, but believe me, I'll remember it now! -
Unable to locate server even though wireless is connected.

I've been having an odd issue with my wrt54G. My wife and I have 2 laptops wirelessly connected to the router (win xp media certer ver and win xp home ver).
In addition we have 3 win 98 boxes and 1 notebook using xp tablet edition all of which use ethernet.
Periodically both of our notebooks that are wirelessly connected will periodically give an "unable to locate server" message when when using IE6. I tried Firefox also to attempt to narrow it down and the same problem is present. Oddly though both notebooks still have our wireless signal connected. I have proxy and both firewalls (xp and symantec) off on these 2 notebooks. They connect using wpa-tkip with mac filtration off ssid broadcast off. Usually we can cold boot our laptops and get reconnected again although sometimes it will happen again almost immediately. I can't remember if we are able to browse network drives (using our wireless notebooks) when this happens. None of our ethernet connected pc's have this problem when this is going on.
I have rebooted the cable modem and the wrt54g and this doesn't seem to matter.
My firmware version is v3.03.6, Jan. 6, 2005v3.03.6.

When this is happening (no web access, no nntp access) I am still able to ping websites that I am unable to open in IE or Mozilla. Also I am still able to listen on streaming audio during these times of no web access. I am also unable to connect to my router's config page while this is happening.
While web access is being denied I am still able to connect to other pc's on my home network.
I'm beginning to think that there must be some kind of http, https and NNTP traffic during certain times but I cannot find anything obvious in my router's setting via the web tool.
This baffles me. I am inclined to to think it's something other than just http and nntp traffic that's being stopped. The reason I say this is because I have had to reboot again following and initial reboot that restored web access and then denied it again in just a matter minutes.
Maybe my router is croaking out?

Printed out the status report but the IP Address on there does not take me to an EWS page, as such I am unable to locate the claim code to set up the connected account. Any help would be appreciated!
Hi Fobulous, I strongly feel the IP address is not a valid one. You can check this on your own. Here is a simple method to check that Connect both printer and your laptop to the same wifi network connected to internet.Check the IP address of the laptop by doing the below.Open RunType cmd and hit enterThis opens a command prompttype ipconfig and hit enter.this displays the IPv4 Address. For eg: 192.168.1.2Now check the IP address of the printer it should also start from 192.168.1.XOnly the last digit will be different. If you see that the Printer IP is perfect. Please restart the wifi, disconnect all other devices from the wifi.Connect only the laptop and printer.Try to open the EWS page again. Let me know if you need more details. Kind Regards,Oliver
