Unable to locate unrestricted policy files for the Sun JCE for download
My platform:
java version "1.6.0_26"
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.6.0_26-b03)
Oracle JRockit(R) (build R28.1.4-7-144370-1.6.0_26-20110617-2130-windows-x86_64, compiled mode)
I am unable to locate the Unlimited Strength Jurisdiction JCE files.
According to BouncyCastle for Java 1.6:
..."you must download the unrestricted policy files for the Sun JCE if you want the provider to work properly. The policy files can be found at the same place as the JDK download. Further information on this can be found in the Sun documentation on the JCE."
The version at the very bottom of http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/index.html should work.

Where can I download the unrestricted policy files for the JCE?
I'm getting errors because I don't have the unrestricted policy files for the JCE. I've checked Sun's website, but I can't find them anywhere. Can someone provide me a link?
At the bottom of the JDK download page - http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.5.0/download.jsp

I get this message when I check the Device manager for my Ipod
Windows cannot verify the digital signature for the drivers required for this device. A recent hardware or software change might have installed a file that is signed incorrectly or damaged, or that might be malicious software from an unknown source. (Code 52)
How do I resolve this I have reinstalled iTunes but it still doesn't recognise my ipodI reinstalled Itunes a couple of times. I unistalled all programs that I never use, I updated all of my drivers, Windows swept my computer and found no problems. I have a yellow causion lite when I look at the USB-port with the phone connected. All other devices work without a problem.

According to your User Agent you posted this question using Internet Explorer 11 on Windows 8.1. Are you having a problem with Firefox? What Firefox version?
You said you are having a problem opening PDF files on your system. Can you explain that better? Mozilla Support can help you with opening PDF files in Firefox, which uses a built-in PDF reader. Maybe one of these articles will help?

Hi,
I created an applet that required a policy file, but now I want to transfer this applet onto the Web. I am wondering how to do this while still somehow incorporating the policy file.
Help would be greatly appreciated - thanks!!I'm trying to put all my files into a .jar file - that is, my .class file, my .html fileYou can't activate a HTML file from a jar file -- at least not that I'm aware of.
links to a file, which the user can then download.If this file that you want the user to be able to download is not a known MIME type (e.g., another HTML file, an image, or a text file), why don't you just create a link in your HTML file like this:
Click here to download file
If your file is of a known MIME type, just zip it and create a link as shown above.
......my policy file.When you run an applet out of a web server, it runs in a sandbox and requires permission(s) to be granted if the user's browser is correctly configured and the applet is signed (as shown in my file I/O demo). Policy file has nothing to do with an applet -- only when a java program runs in a standalone system.
Hope this helps.

When restoring Time Machine after a failure, does it also restore the files to the same order, for example - within iPhoto I have pics/ videos in folders and sub folders organised as family/events etc - will it go back to this exact order after a restore?
Hi Stavros0203,
When restoring your entire system from a Time Machine backup, it is restored to the state it was when that backup was made. See this article for reference -
OS X Yosemite: Recover your entire system
Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.

You can download and install on your system from Adobe's website. Have you already opened the box you have received? If not, you can return it for an exchange. In the meantime you can download the trial version from this link:
<http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/tdrc/index.cfm?product=photoshop_elements&loc=en_gb>
I am not sure if the Windows Serial number will work on your Mac system.
Good luck. -
my account is active and paying per month for Acrobat Pro. Why I cannot open files and the screen asks for serial number?
I don't work for Adobe but it seems to me you might be signing in to Acrobat with the wrong Adobe ID.
Check the Adobe ID you use in Acrobat.
Check this Adobe ID on Adobe's to make sure that it has an active subscription. -
Error in "Checking Availabe Space for the DB2 UDB for Unix..." phase
Hello,
We are in the middle of an Upgrade proyect from R/3 4.6C (kernet 4.6D EXT) to ECC 6.0.
As a first step we are doing an Heterogenous System Copy to migrate from servers with HP-UX B11.11/Informix 9.4 to servers with AIX 5.3/DB2 UDB 8.
We already did the database import with no errors. When we are installing R3 4.6C in the target server we are getting u201CMemory Fault (coredump)u201D error in the u201CChecking Availabe Space for the DB2 UDB for Unix, Windows Tablespacesu201D phase.
Any advice will be appreciated.
Best Regards
FranciscoHello Paul,

I am having a .net method to remove the wrap characters and write out a file without wrap characters.
======================
asdsa,asdsadasdas,1123
asdsa,asdsadasdas,1123
asdsa,asdsadasdas,1123
asdsa,asdsadasdas,1123
======================
the .net code is here.
========================================
public static string RemoveCharacter(string sFileName, char cRemoveChar)
object objLock = new object();
//VirtualStream objInputStream = null;
//VirtualStream objOutStream = null;
FileStream objInputFile = null, objOutFile = null;
lock(objLock)
try
objInputFile = new FileStream(sFileName, FileMode.Open);
//objInputStream = new VirtualStream(objInputFile);
objOutFile = new FileStream(sFileName.Substring(0, sFileName.LastIndexOf('\\')) + "\\" + Guid.NewGuid().ToString(), FileMode.Create);
//objOutStream = new VirtualStream(objOutFile);
int nByteRead;
while ((nByteRead = objInputFile.ReadByte()) != -1)
if (nByteRead != (int)cRemoveChar)
objOutFile.WriteByte((byte)nByteRead);
finally
objInputFile.Close();
objOutFile.Close();
return sFileName.Substring(0, sFileName.LastIndexOf('\\')) + "\\" + Guid.NewGuid().ToString();
==================================
however when I run the bulk load utility I get the error
=======================================
Bulk load data conversion error (type mismatch or invalid character for the specified codepage) for row 1, column 3 (NumberOfMultipleMatches).
==========================================
the bulk insert statement is as follows
=========================================
BULK INSERT Temp
FROM '<file name>' WITH
FIELDTERMINATOR = ','
, KEEPNULLS
==========================================
Does anybody know what is happening and what needs to be done ?
PLEASE HELP
Thanks in advance
VikramTo load that file with BULK INSERT, use this format file:
9.0
4
1 SQLCHAR 0 0 "\"" 0 "" ""
2 SQLCHAR 0 0 "\",\"" 1 col1 Latin1_General_CI_AS
3 SQLCHAR 0 0 "\",\"" 2 col2 Latin1_General_CI_AS
4 SQLCHAR 0 0 "\"\r\n" 3 col3 Latin1_General_CI_AS
Note that the format file defines four fields while the fileonly seems to have three. The format file defines an empty field before the first quote.
Or, since you already have a .NET program, use a stored procedure with table-valued parameter instead. I have an example of how to do this here:

I am already customer and want to upgrade and take the offer of $29.99/month for the complete CS for existing customers (which I qualify for) but when I try 'BUY' - it keeps sending me to this forum?? How do I get the $29.99/month deal?
Hi Bev,
Thanks for the the email - I understand now.
I would just like to ask another question with regards to my new order for complete Creative Cloud which you suggested. I have now pre-paid for a full year but I’m not
sure when I can start downloading the other APPS as they don’t seem to be updating on my current Creative Cloud account app display. It still shows my old configuration
of products (i.e. Photoshop etc) and my ‘activity stream’ relates back to 9 days ago.
Please let me know how to get my new order activated.
Thanks
Kevin Bartley

Every time Firefox opened
== all the timeHere is the answer: Not an add on or plug-in! In fact you can get rid of all those useless plugins and add-ons! Go and get it. Im using the Alpha version right now and it works great. Works better then anything else .......add multiple links for all files sit back and relax. Its all done for you with no more intervention on your part! Check it out!

Only one downside to this. No proper installer. You will have to copy the files to your respective programs folder.
C:\Program Files\FreeRapid or C:\Program Files (x86)\FreeRapid
Then create shortcuts to your desktop from FRD app. Thats it then start downloading!
By the way this not an add. I just spent the whole night looking for the solution to this problem because I was so frustrated with the whole thing. I download tons of files and I have lots of other projects going and I dont have time for all this nonsense with RapidShare and Firefox. Hope this helps some other poor souls out there!

OTL need to require user enter a purchase order number
We are using the Projects and Purchasing timecard layout. OTL validates the PO entered, but I need to require that it be entered. Seems OTL doesn't require it and I can't find anything in preferences. I can write a validation rule to enforce it, but
