Unable to Log In Error Message

Hi,
I created a repository file by using Oracle BI Administration Tool.
My NQSCONFIG file is like below:
[ REPOSITORY ]
Star     =     TEST_REPOSITORY.rpd, DEFAULT;
Then I stoped services and changed instanceconfig file like below for creating web catalog.
<CatalogPath>C:/OracleBIData/web/catalog/TEST_REPOSITORY</CatalogPath>
But when I try to login to Interactive dashboards, I am taking "Unable to Login Error Message".
I am sure that I am entering correct user name and password because of I was able to login Interactive Dashboards before creating repository. ( With Oracle BI's default repository file)
My regional settings are also English. What can I do?
Bye

Hi,
Are you able to open repository online and login to presentation services with out giving password?
Try opening repository online without giving any password(just give user name).Go to Manage->Security->On left pane click on users->Can see users on right pane->Click on Administrator user and give password you want.
Assign points if helped.
Regards,
Srikanth

    If the user has already created a new AdobeID and tried to deleted file at the Application Support/Adobe/opm.db and it is still not working he should try this.
    you could suggest that the user closes all applications and Repair Disk Permissions on OSX:
    2. Open Disk Utility, located at /Applications/Utilities/Disk Utility
    3. Select your startup disk on the left of the Disk Utility window
    4. Select First Aid from the tabs
    Click the "Repair Disk Permissions" button
    It is always a good idea to run Repair Disk Permissions on OSX after an update, say from 10.8 to 10.8.x.
    On Windows he can Run sfc /scannow In the command prompt.
    1. Type sfc /scannow and hit Enter.
    He could also try and disable any 3rd party firewall, antivirus programs. I hope this helps.

  • You have been logged out error message.

    When I launch Adobe Creative Suite Pannel, I get the login screen. When I log in I get a "You have been logged out" error message. I changed my adobe password but the error still persists.

    Hi Copterdoc,
    Please try the steps and let us know if this works.
    Close the Creative Cloud application.
    Navigate to the OOBE folder.
    Windows: [System drive]:\Users\[user name]\AppData\Local\Adobe\OOBE
    Mac OS: /Users/[user name]/Library/Application Support/Adobe/OOBE folder
    Delete the opm.db file.
    Launch Creative Cloud.

  • How do I prevent "The user profile service service failed the log on" error messages?

    I work for an organization with approximately 60 staff members across ~80 Windows 7 Professional PCs. Users log in with Active Directory accounts.
    Approximately once per month, a random user will get an error message while attempting to log into their machine that says "The user profile service service failed the log on."  The solution to resolve this issue is here: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/947215?ppud=4&wa=wsignin1.0.
    The problem is that I want to PREVENT this issue from happening, as it is incredibly inconvenient for the user. I had one staff member board a 5-hour plane trip expecting to do work, and once she got in the air she logged in and
    received the error message and was unable to use her computer for the trip. I've had others locked out of their computer with deadlines to get things done, while I am at home off the clock. Editing the registry is not an easy fix, and so it's not something
    I can just post instructions for in a knowledgebase article.
    Does anyone know how to prevent this issue from occurring? I believe that it has something to do with a network-based startup script, or a service trying to connect to our file server, or the computer trying to connect to our ad server. All of these
    are blocked by firewalls (unless the user is off-site), and I suspect that the services may be timing out, causing the user profile service service failed the logon error message, but I can't seem to eliminate it, after nearly a year of trying.
    90% of the time this problem occurs when the user is off-site, but it has happened while the user is in the office too. Once the user gets this error message, the only way to resolve the problem is to log into their computer as a localadministrator account
    and perform the method #1 fix in the knowledgebase article.
    Thanks

    Have you checked the logged files in event viewer around the time when problem occurred?
    Is there any suspicious events like error or warning related to this issue.

  • Log In Error Message

    Hi all,
    I was wondering if anybody has encountered this error message in OS 10.5.1 and, if so, what they did to resolve it. First off, the user accounts are being controlled via Active Directory. All Macs with Tiger OS have none of these login problems, this only occurs with Leopard OS. Sometimes, when a user attempts to login to a Leopard computer, they will get an error message that says:
    "You are unable to log in to the user account "[NAME]" at this time. Logging in to the account failed because an error occurred."
    However, if the user reboots the computer, they will be able to log in just fine. This is kind of a pain with the computers in a lab environment since it requires each user to reboot the computer before they use it because the error message occurs quite a bit. I have researched the issue and determined that it is not a FileVault error in this case (it is turned off), nor is it a local user account corruption (since the user accounts are network accounts and there are no problems on the Tiger machines; also after a reboot, the log in process works). Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

    There isn't an AD server forum. Maybe I will try the Windows Compatibility one.
    In the meantime, has anybody else come across this?

  • Can't log in / Error messages / Missing data

    Here are a few solutions to problems people have run into:
    Use only lowercase letters and no special characters for your username. If you use an uppercase or special character, Firefox Home may be able to log in but it will not be able to load your data.
    Use only English characters and symbols for your Secret Phrase. Firefox Home won't work if you have non-English characters in your Secret Phrase.
    If you get an "Unspecified Error" the problem is that your desktop hasn't finished sending it's sync data to the server. In this case have your desktop sync again and wait until it displays a "Last Update" time in the sync menu. Then do a refresh in Firefox Home. If you're finding that Firefox Sync isn't syncing, make sure you're not running Firefox in Private Browsing mode which blocks it.
    If you get an "Unknown Error" the problem may be that your iPhone is blocked from accessing the internet. Check to see if you have to load up a page and log in before accessing the web (like a hotel or coffee shop).

  • Can't log in, error message

    For the past few months I've been receiving errors when trying to log into my BT email, and the problem seems to be getting worse.
    If I try and log in to the webmail from a browser I will some times get the following:
    System Busy, Please Wait
    and then eventually it goes to:
    Selected account (unknown) is unavailable
    It seems pretty random when this happens, but it seems to be getting more and more frequent, and when it does occur my emails don't update on my email client (mailbird). On my phone email (bluemail) it recieves the email Subject and Sender, but won't download the actual body of the email (just get 'Failed Download')
    Happened for about 5 hours yesterday morning (about 9am to 2pm) and has been off since 1pm this afternoon.
    Very infuriating.
    When it does come back on all my devices and clients update at once and it is fine again for a bit.
    Any ideas?

    Hi
    So just close iTunes and re-open iTunes thats it and that worked for you?

  • Unable to create volume - error message when exporting

    Hello - relatively new Mac and iphoto user here.
    I'm trying to export photos from iphoto to a 2 GB thumb drive. I keep getting the error message "unable to create volume" when I try to move anything but very small batches of photos over. What's going on? I tried to create a folder on my desktop for the photos but then when I try to move from there I get an error message telling me the photo "is in use" and can't be moved to the thumb drive.
    I would move them to my external hard drive but I'm having trouble with it too. It won't even show up. When I run a disk utility on it it says it can't be verified. Sigh. So that's a whole other issue that will probably take something like Disk Warrior to clean up.
    In the meantime, I'm trying to move images to the thumb drive then I'm putting the thumb drive in my other computer and moving the images from the thumb drive to it's external hard drive A long process when you can only move about 20 images at a time from iphoto.
    I'm just trying to move a good bit of old photos out of iphoto on the Mace because I'm scared that the program or even my entire computer is going to crash and I'm going to have data loss.
    What can I do about the "unable to create volume" message? And what's with the "file in use" error message when I try to move the images off a file folder on the desktop.
    Is there a better way to move 1GB of photos all at once to the thumb drive?

    Welcome to the Apple Discussions.
    Seems to be two issues complicating things here:
    I'm trying to export photos from iphoto to a 2 GB thumb drive. I keep getting the error message "unable to create volume" when I try to move anything but very small batches of photos over.
    What format is that wee drive? Mostly there are FAT16 or FAT 32 and there is a limit to the number of objects they can have on the root of the drive. The workaround is to export to a Folder on the desktop and copy that over.
    Which brings us to:
    I tried to create a folder on my desktop for the photos but then when I try to move from there I get an error message telling me the photo "is in use" and can't be moved to the thumb drive.
    You will sometimes get this message when you try to export two files +with the same name+ to a Folder. As you know your camera is well capable of producing many files called something like DSC_1234.jpeg. In iPhoto these will be in separate folders, so no problem. However, when you go to export them to the Folder on the desktop if iPhoto continues the export one will overwrite the error.
    Solution: Give the Pics a title (Photos -> Batch Change) and a sequential number. Then when you export, in the export dialogue you have the option to use the Title as filename.

  • "Unable to check out" error message in CS4

    I have InDesign CS4, but do not have InCopy. When I exported an InDesign CS4 file to CS3 interchange format, and then tried to edit the orginal file, I got an error message saying: "Unable to check out this file. It may be in use by someone else." From reading the documentation, it appears that I inadvertently engaged a feature of InCopy, but when  I go to the Edit->InCopy menu, the option to check the file back in is greyed out. How do I check the file back in so that I can edit it?

    I've just experienced the same error message in CS4. I got rid of it by going to the Links panel, selecting all the links to Incopy, and Unlinking.

    We are trying to encrypt a .flv file using Adobe Flash Access SDK within a Web Project using Netbeans IDE(ver 6.8). We are using the sample class provided by Adobe Flash Access library to do the encryption. The funny thing is whenever we run this class standalone within the web project, the file is encrypted properly and the appropriate metadata files are generated.

    LoveTQ

    Hi LoveTQ,
    To give you a very brief background first, we use Apache Commons Logging as the logging interface for our SDK (and other logs). The concrete logging implementation/provider used underneath this interface is specified in the commons-logging.properties file that should be present on the Java Classpath. The setting for the log level depends on this underlying implementation. Customers can use a logging implementation of their choice, with the SDK.
    If you are using the Log4j implementation (which is what we use in some of the other Flash Access components), you can change the log level in the corresponding log4j.xml configuration file. Those details, if you would like, are provided under this link - http://commons.apache.org/logging/guide.html#Configuring%20Log4J.
    If you decide to use another logging implementation, you will need to consult the appropriate documentation.
    The only exception to all this, for the current release, is with the out-of-box Flash Access Server for Protected Streaming, wherein the log level is changed via the flashaccess-global.xml configuration file. For more details, you can refer to its documentation on page 45 of the Protecting Content guide (http://help.adobe.com/en_US/flashaccess/2.0/protecting_content.pdf).
    Hope this helps.

  • Unable to Resolve Script Error Message

    Hi,
    I am using Windows Vista and Acrobat Adobe Extended Version 9.
    I am struggling with a script. I am sure it is something simple; however, I am struggling mightily with it. I am getting an error message, shown below, that I am unable to understand and resolve.
    I am trying to calculate age when given a birthdate. I used "Search" to find a script here at Adobe forums.
    Here's the script that I am using:
    StoneG, "Third Time Lucky to get Age from DOB entry" #1, 24 Oct 2006 7:21 am
    // Jared Langdon
    // J. Langdon Consulting
    // www.jlangdon.ca
    // DOB = Date of Birth
    var strDOBYear = Birthdate.rawValue.substr(6,4);
    var strDOBMonth = Birthdate.rawValue.substr(0,2);
    var strDOBDay = Birthdate.rawValue.substr(3,2);
    var oDOB = new Date(parseInt(strDOBYear,10), parseInt(strDOBMonth,10)-1, parseInt(strDOBDay,10) );
    var oToday = new Date();
    // determine whether the person's birthday has already occurred this year
    var bBirthdayHasOccurred = false;
    if (oDOB.getMonth() < oToday.getMonth()) bBirthdayHasOccurred = true; if ((oDOB.getMonth() == oToday.getMonth()) && (oDOB.getDate() <= oToday.getDate())) bBirthdayHasOccurred = true;
    var nCurrentAge = 0;
    if (bBirthdayHasOccurred)
    nCurrentAge = oToday.getFullYear() - oDOB.getFullYear();
    else
    nCurrentAge = oToday.getFullYear() - oDOB.getFullYear() - 1;
    this.rawValue = nCurrentAge;
    ==========
    I changed the script slightly. I changed from:
    var strDOBYear = DateOfBirth.rawValue.substr(6,4);
    to
    var strDOBYear = Birthdate.rawValue.substr(6,4);
    My variable is "Birthdate".
    And I changed boolBirthdayHasOccurred to bBirthdayHasOccurred.
    Upon opening the file in Acrobat 9, my error messages is as follows:
    Acrobat JavaScript Debugger Functions Version 9.0
    Acrobat EScript Built-in Functions Version 9.0
    Acrobat Annotations / Collaboration Built-in Functions Version 9.0
    Acrobat Annotations / Collaboration Built-in Wizard Functions Version 9.0
    Acrobat SOAP 9.0
    Birthdate.rawValue has no properties
    8:XFA:form1[0]:#subform[0]:Age[0]:calculate
    The line above repeats several times. And then...
    boolBirthdayHasOccurred is not defined
    19:XFA:form1[0]:#subform[0]:Age[0]:calculate
    boolBirthdayHasOccurred is not defined
    19:XFA:form1[0]:#subform[0]:Age[0]:calculate
    Birthdate.rawValue has no properties
    8:XFA:form1[0]:#subform[0]:Age[0]:calculate
    Birthdate.rawValue has no properties
    I have no idea why it mentions "boolBirthdayHasOccurred" because that text is not even present. The last two lines repeat more several times.
    When I have delete this entire script, the problems disappears. I have tried finding "boolBirthdayHasOccurred" without success.
    Can someone point me in the right direction to troubleshoot this problem?
    Regards,
    Kevin

    Hi Paul,
    >>The default would be the format that your machine has set.
    That's interesting. So the users' machines are very likely different than mine. So there's no way of knowing in advance. That would seem to make the routine suggested by Jared Langdon (see my top post in this thread) somewhat troublesome? If users' machines are set differently than his, then his routine wouldn't work?
    I learned two important items with this task:
    1) I need to somehow specify (as done by Stephen) the format of the date numbers before I use them;
    2) Rather than using the Calculation Event on the Age, I should instead use Exit Event on the Date-of-Birth field.
    Thank you for your response.
    Regards,
    Kevin
