Unable to login to Administration Console

Hi,
I am evaluating WL 6.0.
I am trying to login into the Administration server using the Administration Console, which prompts for the username and password.
The documentation said:
The first time the Administration Console is started, you can use the user name and password under which the Administration Server was started
what user name and password is the documentation talking about?
Thanks,
Hien

sorry, I just figured it out. The user name is 'system'.

i want to solve this issue.
    thank you in advance.
    Thanks & Regards,

    Hi Fabian,
I followed the steps written by you but no luck. Problems I am facing with the consoles :
    EM Console -
On same server where web logic is installed
    1. The console is not accessible through http://<ip_address>:port/em - Page cannot be displayed error
    2. The console is accessible through http://<host name>:port/em - But all buttons are not working, when I submit the credentials no processing takes place.
    3. The console is accessible through http://localhost:7001/em - I am able to login
    ODSM console :
    On same server
Some times I am able to access ODSM console through localhost but otherwise the application is not accessible.
    To access the application-
    1. Start the nodemanager - C:\Oracle\Middleware\wlserver_10.3\server\bin\startNodeManager.bat
    2. Start the weblogic server - C:\Oracle\Middleware\user_projects\domains\vfOIDDomain\bin\startWeblogic.bat
    I have a doubt regarding installation :
During Installation while creating the web logic domain a screen asks for "Select Optional Configuration details "
    1. Administration Servers
    2.Managed Server,cluster and machines etc...
I have not checked any one of the 5 options where in Administration Servers you can say Listen address - all local address.
Can this be the cause ?
I though if I dont check it will take the default configuration which will be " all local address "
    Please help.
    Regards,
    Deepika

  • Unable to login to Mobile Console

    Hi,
Not sure why but we are unable to login to the Mobile Server console. I'm positive that I am entering the correct password. However, the message we receive
is Please verify your username, password, url and try again!
Not sure how to troubleshoot this. Anyone have ideas? This worked fine this morning.
    Thanks
    Bill

    a) stop the glassfish server from the Windows Services
    b) start glassfish server using
                   C:\app\DMS\Mobile\Server\bin\runmobileserver.bat

  • Login to Administration Console just hangs

Hi,  I have just installed the Administration Console on my PC (Windows XP SP2, MS Office 2007).  I have also installed the Microsoft.ACE.OLEDB.12.0 provider as per SAP's instructions, on my client PC.
When I access oSoft and click on any Admin Console task (e.g. Manage Application Sets) I can go through the connection wizard and successfully specify my credentials.
When, however, I click on "OK" to see the console, the popup simply hangs and nothing else happens.
Has anyone else experieinced the same problem?
    TC

I have not experienced this result after an install of the Admin client. So, I would do a couple of things even though they may sound redundant. I would uninstall the admin client from your PC. Then going back through the web log-in, where the path is SERVER\OSOFT, start at the Cleint Software Center and verify that your PC has the required components prepared for the install. If it does, re-install the client.  Then re-test your connection and login.
If that still doesn't work, I would search SAPSUPPORT Notes to see if any past "like" issues have been reported. From there, a call to SAP Support may be required.  What version are you installing?
    Hope this helps.

  • Login-Problem Administration Console

    Hi
I've installed OIM 9.1 on BEA WebLogic 8.1 SP6 on a linux OS.
If I start OIM I can launch the OIM Administration/User Console Login Site. But I'm not able to login.

Just give a try logging into admin console using the password for the user where your DB OIM instance is running.
Suppose if your OIM is running on DB Instance IDM and userid is user1 with the password abcd1234. give this password to login to admin console.
I faced the same issue in Solaris env with same versions of OIM and weblogic you are using. I tried logging with that DB password, it worked.
    In worst scenarios it works...

  • Unable to bring up Administration Console

    Hi,
I created two standalone servers one in production mode and the other in development
mode. Both are listening in two different ports. I was able to start them both
in the background without any issues. I tried to access the administration console
for domain 1 (production mode) by typing the URL: http://<host name>:<portname1>/console
and it came up fine. But when I try to bring up the admin console for domain 2
(development mode) by typing the URL: http://<host name>:<port name2>/console
it keeps saying page cannot be displayed. I am not able to find any error/info
in the server log files. Am I doing anything wrong in basics here ? Please help.
    I am running WLS 7.0 SP2 on HP-UX 11

    Hi,
I figured what the problem is. It is on the Hardware side for the port I was try
to accessing was not configured to accept requests. Please ignore my earlier questions.
    Thanks,

  • WAAS 3.5, unable to login to administrator page.

    Hello All
We recently installed WAAS Mobile Server 3.5,the installation was sucessful, all the pre requisite was fulfilled for the installation
But we are unable to log in to the administration page, keep getting the erro invalid username and password.I did some check on the IIS but no results, would appreciate any assistance on this.
    Thank you,
    Subu

    Hi
After you install the WAAS Mobile Server, you should be able to open the WAAS Mobile Manager Login page and login using the default usernames and password. The default username is admin and password is default
This is described in the WAAS Mobile Server installation guide on Page number 19 in the link below:
    http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/app_ntwk_services/waas/waas_mobile/v3.5/configuration/administration/guide/CiscoWAASMobileAdminGuide_3_5.pdf

  • Unable to login as administrator after creating new standard account

Just got a nice new MBP form work today.
When logged in as the admin I created a new standard account for my personal use. I then shut down the laptop.
After booting up I am presented with a default icon, my standard use name, and a field to enter my password. I can login to this account fine. If I click on the arrow next to the username (this seems pretty poor UX - it annoyingly takes a while to appear, and how is a new user supposed to know what it is for? /vent), and then click on 'other' and enter my admin username and password, it is not accepted and the password field just shakes.
    Am I missing something obvious?
    Many thanks.

    @Frank Caggianoy
Yep, the Display login window is set to List of users. The password that has been set up is the passwsord I've been using for several months at work, so that cannot be the issue.
    @nbar
When I set up the standard user account, there was definately an administrator account in the user list. I also installed some work related applications which are not present when logged in to the standard account.
I've got to say that these forums are very helpful - thanks for the suggestions. I'll speak to the person who set up everything tomorrow, and post back what the problem/solution was.
    Cheers.

  • Unable to login to Administration Tool

    Hi,
    i've following problem.
I'm trying to open rpd in Online Mode using Administration Tool on Oracle Business Intelligence Suite 11g. But when i insert user e password i receive following error:
    "Logon Failed".
I've investigated on error cause and opening Administration Tool log file i find following error traced:
[nQSError: 61013] File error: path=C:\app\oracle\product\ofm\instances\instance1\bifoundation\OracleBIServerComponent\coreapplication_obis1\repository\OBI11_merged_BI0020.rpd, code=32: There has been a sharing violation.
Repository password is correct because i'm able to open rpd in Offline Mode using it
In addition i'm able to login in Analytics and Enterprise Manager environment with weblogic username and password. I insert the same credentials when i open rpd in Online Mode
How can i resolve the problem? Thanks

    Hi,
This is interesting!! After running through the thread, I suspect there is some issue with your configuration not the .rpd. Taking your words that replacing your old .rpd does not work too and of course the your old .rpd would have worked, here are my prime suspects
    1. Some clustering setup running behind scenes. I not get any other instance, when a .rpd could be shared except when a master .rpd is shared with cluster servers. So is the "Sharing violation" error.
    2. Some Init blocks in your .rpd with "Required for Authentication" set. For example, an init block with "required for authentication" is bound to fail and not let you in online mode, when the underlying source/ DSN etc has issues.
So, check on these guys and see if you nail them down first.
    Hope this helps.

  • Remote login to Administration Console

    Hello,
I am trying to login to the Admin Console from another browser on the
network, and the browser crashes every time I try (as though its process
was being killed), even if there is plenty of memory on the client
machine and the username/password is correct. I think it might be that
the WebLogic 8.1 server is not allocating enough sockets for another
computer to log into it. How do I increase the number of sockets in WL
8.1 so that I can log into the Console from another machine? the login
machine is Win NT and WebLogic is running on Mac OS X 10.2. thanks very
    much,
    Bruce

We deleted all cookies and we added the sgdserver to the trusted websites. But this did not help.

  • Administrator Console Login?

    Hi to all,
Could it be possible logining the Administrator Console(WL6.0sp1 on

"system" privileges login Administrator Console? Is something related to
    evaluation version?

    OAM side:
    How you deleted OAM server?
It seems that OAM server not uninstalled clearly.
    OIM side:
Check for the OIMAuthenticator in the security->realms->myrealm in weblogic
There should be OIMAuthenticator to authenticate OIM users through the database.
Is your DefaultAuthenticator also set to Sufficient?
