Unable to login to Blackberry ID

I had two email accounts set up on my blackberry but now both have asked for validation. I have tried to validate using my Blackberry ID and password that I know is correct and it keeps telling me it is unable to login. the same is now true of Blackberry world, which of course uses the same ID. I have now changed my password four times and I don't know what else to do. I have taken the battery out etc. but it just continues to fail on login. My password changes have been successful but as I have used 7 of my 10 login chances I don't want to end up wiping my phone's memory if it doesn't work again. Please help!

Hey rachb,
Welcome to the BlackBerry Support Community Forums.
Thanks for the question.
Can you provide the exact error message you're receiving?  Also can you login with your BlackBerry ID from a computer by going to www.blackberry.com/appworld
I look forward to your reply.
Cheers.

"unable to login to blackberry ID account" and unable to connect to "blackberry desktop software" please help.

Hi and Welcome to the Community!
Honestly, that's a pretty vague set of symptoms to provide. Could you perhaps provide a bit more? For instance...what exact sequence of steps do you perform that reaches these error messages? Details and exactness will help keep us from guessing, and guessing from vague descriptions really helps no one.
Good luck and let us know!

  • Unable to login to Blackberry ID account

Last Thursday my phone got wet, I had it in rice til today, it looks like it works but soon as I try to get on it asks for  my username and password, I put it in and I keep getting the message "unable to login to your BlackBerry ID account", can someone tell me what to do
    Thank You

    Hello,
First, congratulations on doing the rice treatment properly...so many folks get impatient and check too soon! But, even with that, with moisture intrusion into a BB, the only thing predictable is that the result will be unpredictable. I've heard of BBs coming back to life and running fine for a long time. Others never come back to life at all. Others come back fine at first, and then get worse over time. And everything in between those results as well. You are lucky that you have it working as it is.
As to that error message, here is a KB:
KB28212 "Unable to login to your BlackBerry ID account" or "Unable to update your BlackBerry ID account information" error occurs on a BlackBerry smartphone running BlackBerry 7
Please watch very carefully as you enter your credentials to be 100% certain that the characters you intend are actually being sent...with moisture damage, the keyboard connections often get flaky, resulting in very strange things.
    Good luck!

  • Unable to login to Blackberry ID via smartphone

I got my new phone just before Christmas and set it up on Vodafone however, ported my old phone number to my new vodafone contract shortly afterwards.  Ever since then I have been unable to login to my BB ID account via my phone.  I have tried resetting my password (via my laptop) but still no joy.  I get a message saying 'enter the user name associated with this smartphone'.  I only have the one private email address and was able to login prior to the porting of my number.  Everything else works perfectly, but I am at a total loss with this one.  Can anyone help me please???

Same problem and tried all solutions that I found on internet. NO WAY OUT.
Additionally, now I have to spend a lot of time to get what I need from Blackberry. Don't remember how many time I have to register for something from Blackberry. A Blackberry ID, a sign-in to support forum of Blackberry and a lot sign-in to other support forum to ask for a solution to solve my BB problems.
My first BB was in 2007 and it was great. Now I hate my BB 9930.

  • Unable to login to Blackberry A/C

I have a Bold 9900 using T-Mobile and have been unable, for the past two days (I previously had no problem), to login to App World. I can login using my computer, and have tried changing email and password of my account to resolve the issue but no success with my blackberry. I keep getting the message that I can not be loged in. I have also tried hard resets by taking out the battery but that doesn't help. Any ideas?

I would love to know the answer to this one too!  Got my Torch 9810 on Saturday and transferred all my data off my Curve 8520 using the desktop software and everything was working fine.  That is until App World started prompting me to upgrade the various built in apps.  I did the Facebook one first and it prompted me to reboot.  Since then it is refusing to accept my Blackberry ID, first couple of attempts it said username/password was wrong so tested it out online and it logged in fine.  Then I get the unable to log in message and it refuses to let me in!  It also keeps sending me a BB Protect authentication message everytime I try (and won't let me authenticate that either).

  • Unable to login to Blackberry on phone but can on website

Dear all I have an old blackberry phone and I wanted to access the phone. The phone number has changed as I put a new chip in it. I was able to login on the website with my email username and password but it does not recognise me when I log in on the phone. Now it seems I have used up all my attempts. Is there anyone to contact to get this sorted out? I bought the phone from T Mobile in the UK Thanks Jamws

This would the your BlackBerryID you are inputting... NOT the Security password?
If the BBID used on the device in the past is different than what is on the device now, you will be required to perform a security wipe on the 9320 and at the setup screen, use the new BBID.

  • Can no longer login to Blackberry App World or get a password reset, please help!

I cannot login to My Blackberry App World on https://blackberryid.blackberry.com/bbid/login/
I have entered my email and password but it is rejected.
When I ask for a password reset I am prompted to answer a security question. The security question I am given is one I have never set, so I do not know what the answer is meant to be!
Consequently I cannot get a password reset so am unable to access My Blackberry App World, either on my phone or on a pc.
What has happened to my account and why can I no longer log in..?

Apparently, there was something corrupt in my Profile. I backed up my default profile, created a new one and copied over the critical folders and files - the addons; backedup bookmarks, places.sqlite; password info in key3.db and signons.sqlite.
    Issue resolved.

  • Can't login to BlackBerry ID

I can't login to BlackBerry ID, there's a message "unable to login to your BlackBerry ID account".
I've read the KB2812. What should I do for fixing it? Should I reset my device to factory settings?

    Hi F13
    Welcome to BlackBerry Support Forums
If all suggestions mentioned within that Knowledge Base KB28212  fails then as a last option you had to Reset your device to Factory Setting .But before that do your device backup using BlackBerry desktop software.

  • Unable to login in to Mac App Store using valid account.

I recently inherited a spare MacBook Air from my wife (who got a new one). I deleted her user account, and set up a new admin user account for me. The machine is running 10.7.5.
Now, I am absolutely unable to login to the App Store. I am using my valid Apple ID -- for example, the same Apple ID that I used to gain access to this very forum. System Preferences accepts my ID. iTunes accepts my ID. BUT the App Store will aboslutely NOT respond. It will not load. I get the red "connection failed" alert, and then after several tries it doesn't respond at all.
It doesn't give any option to switch users -- perhaps once the original owner has used the App Store, the computer will never again allow anyone else to use it? It doesn't say that there is another user logged in. There appears to be no way of deleting and reinastalling the App Store. There is no cache file I can find to be cleared. There is no preference option. There is no information. There appears to be no way of fixing this at all, short of wiping the hard drive and reinstalling the operating system. Is that what I have to do? WHY IS THIS SO HORRIBLY DESIGNED? And why is there no support short of the forum? I hate this about Apple (despite being a long-time Apple evangelist and OSX devotee).
    Thanks.

The first thing you should do after acquiring a second-hand computer is to erase the internal drive and install a clean copy of OS X. How you do that depends on the model. Look it up on this page to see what version was originally installed.
If the machine shipped with OS X 10.4 or 10.5, you need a boxed and shrink-wrapped retail Snow Leopard installation disc, which you can get from the Apple Store or a reputable reseller — not from eBay or anything of the kind. If the machine has less than 1 GB of memory, you'll need to add more in order to install 10.6. I suggest you install as much memory as it can take, according to the technical specifications.
If the machine shipped with OS X 10.6, you need the gray installation discs that came with it. If you don't have the discs, order replacements from Apple. A retail disc, or the gray discs from another model, will not work.
To boot from an optical disc, insert it, then reboot and hold down the C key at the startup chime. Release the key when you see the gray Apple logo on the screen.
If the machine shipped with OS X 10.7 or later, it should boot into Internet Recovery mode when you hold down the key combination option-command-R at the startup chime. Release the keys when you see a spinning globe.
Once booted from the disc or in Internet Recovery, launch Disk Utility and select the icon of the internal drive — not any of the volume icons nested beneath it. In the Partition tab, select the default options: a GUID partition table with one data volume in Mac OS Extended (Journaled) format. This operation will permanently remove all existing data on the drive, which is what you should do.
After partitioning, quit Disk Utility and run the OS X Installer. When the installation is done, the system will automatically reboot into the Setup Assistant, which will prompt you to transfer the data from another Mac, its backups, or from a Windows computer. If you have any data to transfer, this is usually the best time to do it.
You should then run Software Update and install all available system updates from Apple. If you want to upgrade to a major version of OS X newer than 10.6, buy it from the Mac App Store. Note that you can't keep an upgraded version that was installed by the previous owner. He or she can't legally transfer it to you, and without the Apple ID you won't be able to update it in Software Update or reinstall, if that becomes necessary. The same goes for any App Store products that the previous owner installed — you have to repurchase them.
If the previous owner "accepted" the bundled iLife applications (iPhoto, iMovie, and Garage Band) in the App Store so that he or she could update them, then they're linked to that Apple ID and you won't be able to download them without buying them. Reportedly, Apple customer service has sometimes issued redemption codes for these apps to second owners who asked.

Try clearing your cache, [https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/How to clear the cache Instructions here]. Then, try going to [https://accounts.google.com Google Accounts]. If there is currently an account singed in, sign out, then back in. After that, try going to Google Adwords.

  • Unable to Login to Creative Cloud App

Photoshop CC was crashing every time I attempted to open a new file inside of the application (Photoshop would stay open as long as did not attempt to open a file.)
    I uninstalled PS CC.
When I attempted to reinstall. I received the following message in the CC app:
"Unknown Server Error: Sign in is currently unavailable. We are unable to access your account. Please try again later."
I ran the CC cleaner, restarted, and reinstalled CC. I am still receiving the message and unable to login.
My password has been reset from the recent security warning, and I am able to login to my Adobe account online, and everything seems to be in order.
    I am running on OS X 10.8.5.
