Unable to make OD Master

Hi,
I am unable to promote my server to an OD Master. I tells me an error occured (but not what the error was) and to check my network settings.
I have checked the DNS with changeip -checkhostname and that returns ok. I have also checked any reverse lookups and also reset network and hostname through server app.
Has anyone else had issues with this?

I resolved this -
If /var/root/Library/Application Support/Certificate Authority/IntermediateCA_FQDN_1 exists, then you'll see the "Error creating intermediate CA." in the slap log
Of course, replace FQDN with your server's full host name.

I have defined it in customizing that the postal code is Optional (Financial Accounting (New) > Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable > Customer Accounts > Master Data > Preparations for Creating Customer Master Data > Define Account Groups with Screen Layout Customers)

But then when I go to créate a customer for that account group the system asks for the postal code as mandatory.

Can anybody help? I tried a lot of navigations in Project Online PWA (not project server) but still unable to make master project containing sub-projects using Project Online PWA (Cloud)

It isn't possible to do this in the Project Web App either in Project Online or Project Server - you will need to use Project Professional 2013 and connect to your Project Online instance, or the subscription version, Project Pro for Office 365.

Dial tone but unable to make calls.

Hi,
I had BT Infinity installed on the 10th Feb 14. About a day or two after it all switched off for about 30 mins. When the phones and internet came back online the phones would not ring out.
Whether the phones are plugged into the master socket or either extension they are unable to make external calls yet there is a dial tone.
If I plug the phone in to the test socket then it works fine. This has only ever been an issue since the new faceplate and installation of BT infinity.
When I went to plug the phone into the test socket I noticed an orange and white wire that has seemingly come out of its connection but as to where I don't know. The other 3 cables are still in.
Also internet is working fine.
Any ideas?

If you get dial tone with the faceplate disconnected, then the fault is within your own wiring, and it means that the extensions are wired up wrong. You either pay BT to sort it out, or get an independent telephone technician.

Its most likely that whoever did the Infinity installation, forgot to check for any "star" wiring. ie. extensions connected before the master socket. Its quite often the contractors that forget to do this. The Openreach people usually know what they are doing.
There is nothing else I can suggest, as it appears that the faceplate is not at fault, as the phone and broadband both work fine from the master socket faceplate.

Unable to make microphone to work on NVIDIA MCP55 onboard sound card

Hello.
Some time ago, I bought a nice HP xw9400 Workstation (with Dual Core AMD Opteron 2216) from Germany. Despite it's starting to become old by today's standards for some stuff like gaming, it's still quite okay to use and the SAS HDD makes it boot fastly. And it has one of the best cases, you can plug PCI/PCIe/PCI-X cards very easily and it's very nice to change or add HDDs. Maybe I'll upgrade the CPUs (I can upgrade the bios and it seems it can support better CPUs) if I find them on eBay or other place.
I have less problems with Arch than the rest of distributions, but I still have weird issues. Despite my computer hardware is somewhat old, I still experience weird problems everywhere (it seems I have some kind of weird "luck").
I have problems using my microphone under Arch with "NVIDIA Corporation MCP55 High Definition Audio (rev a2)" onboard sound card , here is the relevant info.

I had an Sound Blaster Audigy 4 Pro, but removed it to see if there was some problem. I'm still unable to use my Microphone even on onboard audio hardware. I'll try to use it once I have the microphone working

Have you tried making a virtual loopback device like above and using
arecord -vv -fdat out.wav
You should see the #### fluctuate as you speak into the mic. If not, then unmute and turn up your mic in alsamixer. That loopback device will allow you to capture your sound card and hear it at the same time. Another way to do it is to use a jumper from line out to line in on your sound device. You won't be able to hear it while you record though.
If your sound device works, then you can capture what's going through it. You'll need to determine which vitual device your mic is.

I'm unable to make iTune purchases from my phone using my iTune gift card, the gift card information is entered on the phone and I can see the credit amount.

I am having the same problem and it is REALLY frustrating.
Exact setup that you have, COMCAST, PayPal, etc....
I have reviewed my account three times with my PayPal info and received confirmation from my PayPal Account but it still won't let me log in. Let me know if you hear anything.
This is a REAL PAIN.

I have implement CUCM 9.1(1a) and CUP 9.1(1a)
I can make calls if i used desk phone for calls but iam unable to make calls whet i turn the option use pc to make calls
p.s: i have set up CCMCIP (CUCM ip address) for all users.

i cant place calls via CSF (jabber) !!!! the softphone mode is ok
the problem i think is here when i turn to "csf" mode :

Unable to make purchases with my new Mac in iTunes Store.

I am unable to make purchases with my new Mac in iTunes Store.
I can buy with my iPhone or my company lap-top (Windows) without any problems. Only with my brand new MacBook Pro it is impossible.
When I try to authorize my Mac, sure dialog window appears and I give my ID and password. Then I get error message: "There was an error storing your authorization information on this computer. The required file was not found or has a permissions error. Correct this permissions problem and try again, or deauthorize this computer if the permissions cannot be changed." The same message I get, when I try to deauthorize.
If I try to buy anything (pushing button "Buy"), then I get following error message:
"iTunes couldn`t download your purchase. You don`t have write access for your iTunes Media folder or a folder within it. Change permissions (in the Finder) and then choose Store--Check for available downloads".
But I have such a permission!!! I can see it!!!
I have even made so, that "everyone" and "staff" also have permission "read and write" in folder iTunes and all subfolders.! :))
When I ask for "available downloads" immediately I get the same answer: " iTunes couldn`t download your purchase. You don`t have write access for your iTunes Media folder or a folder within it. Change permissions (in the Finder) and then choose Store--Check for available downloads"
I have done:
1. I have used the Terminal to correct the permissions (in Finder it looked correct anyway).                    -          NO Result.
2. With Disk Utility I have verified and repaired Disk permissions. (There were approx. 10-12 incorrect values and 3 of them concerned iTunes and other - Jawa ).           -           NO Result.
3. I have moved all iTunes files in Thrash and installed iTunes again (previously downloaded from App Store ).                    -          No Result.
4. I have verified Disk permissions with Disk Utility again. There was nothing wrong, but in spite of this I have pushed the button "Repair Disc Permissions".          -          NO Result.
5. New installation of iTunes again.           -          No Result.
Can it be, that the reason of a problem are not correct transferred data from my old MacBook?

I am in the process of doing a migration from SBS 2003 std. edition to SBS 2011 std. I am at the point the migrating mailboxes from the Exch 03 server to the Exch 2010 server. I initially received an error when selecting mailboxes that the mailbox
db on the Exch03 server did not exist. I followed the resolution steps from another forum post to add the Exch 2010 server to the "first administrative group" via the security tab and give full permissions. This solved that issue and

I have selected the the check box Insert Header Row in Subsequent Pages then also the header is not getting flowed in subsequent pages only till 2nd page its getting flowed.
I have used table wizard to create table and i have made the table subform as flowed then also table header is not repeating in subsequent pages.

I am unable to create customer master in ECC 6 version as system says that sales area defined even though it is defined. if i am going to XD01 when i click on All sales area Button it is showing only sales organisaiton and rest distribution channel and division is not appearing. is there any activation required for distribution channels or at divisions so that i can appear in avalible sales area.
i have tried to enter it manually but it is not accepting. when i check at enterprise structure it is defined and assinged
can any body help me oout?

This is an issue by non-assigning on common distribution channel and common division.
Go to SPRO --> Sales & Distribution --> Masterdata --> Define Common Distribution channel (Txn : VOR1).
Give you distribution channel to the fields Reference distribution channle for conditions and Reference DC for customer and material masters
Go to SPRO --> Sales & Distribution --> Masterdata --> Define Common Division (Txn : VOR2)
Maintian Common division 00 agaist your sales org as well as the fields Reference Division for conditions and Reference Division for customer and material masters

SELECT-OPTIONS field unable to make any selections

The field which has been declared as follows is unable to make any selections.
It seems like a field which is defined "only for output". Under Screens within the
elementlist is this attribute for this field is not activated as "only for output".
What else can the reason be for that ?

Cjit07 is not a dictionary structure or table.
therfore you cannot assign the value cjit07-intst_old.
that statement is logically incorrect.
thats why it is not able to make any selections.
