Unable to Migrate web services with Config Migration Admin
Hi,
I have created some web services in Soap Wsdls. In Config Migration Admin I don't see my web services, then I selected the SoapPublicWsdls and WsdlMerger componente, but when I import the file in the target, the wsdl is not imported.
How can I migrate the wsdl defined by me to other instance?
Thanks
You have to "build" the component before the component can be seen by the CMU process. The component's manifest file is read to populate the CMU list, and the manifest isn't created until the build occurs.
Using CMU is a terrible way to migrate a component, (and can be problematic unless the component is dirt simple.) Since you have to build the component anyway, just take the component zip file you just built and upload it via Component Manager instead. Restart the server and you are done. (Uploading via CMU still requires the restart of the server.)

Unable to call Web Service with Username Token
-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~
I posted this in the JDeveloper forum but got no response.
-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~
I have JDeveloper 10g release 3.
I created a regular Java application. Added a Web service proxy with no special mappings or anything. Right clicked on the proxy and said "Secure Proxy". I only used basic plain text username token. Added a method to my class that call instantiates a client, and called the operation.
However when I run this I get the following error message.
SEVERE: No username found
Error::oracle.j2ee.ws.common.soap.fault.SOAP11FaultException: No username found
The Web Service Security Proxy Wizard created an xml in my src file, that I updated to put the username and password of the web service. Below is the xml file.
<oracle-webservice-clients xmlns:xsi='http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance' xsi:noNamespaceSchemaLocation='http://xmlns.oracle.com/oracleas/schema/oracle-webservices-client-10_0.xsd'>
<webservice-client>
<service-qname namespaceURI="http://tempuri.org/SOAPTestWS/Service1" localpart="Service1"/>
<port-info>
<wsdl-port namespaceURI="http://tempuri.org/SOAPTestWS/Service1" localpart="Service1Soap"/>
<runtime enabled="security">
<security>
<inbound/>
<outbound>
<username-token name="myusername" password="xxxxx" password-type="PLAINTEXT" add-nonce="false" add-created="false"/>
</outbound>
</security>
</runtime>
<operations>
<operation name='TryMe'>
</operation>
</operations>
</port-info>
</webservice-client>
</oracle-webservice-clients>
And this configuration file is processed in the stub file.
setupConfig("project2/runtime/Service1Soap_Stub.xml");
What am I doing wrong. I cannot find any documentation on the secure web service client wizard and it's generated code.
Thanks, MIke L.Mike,
I updated the 3 xml files with the name and password and I get a different error now ...

I am using the simple text based username auth, but jdev for some reason still goes and looks for the x509 cert? How did you get yours to work?

you can check it at GlassFish Admin console (usually running on port 4848).
You need to log on to Admin console with the (default) or changed password (depends if you changed it during installation).
There you could see your web service deployed (usually in the "folder" Web services).
If you can see it you should see also wsdl - for your web service.

Issue with OSI PI WCF Web Service with wshttpbinding
Hi Experts,
System Details:
SAP MII 14 SP4
OSI PI Web Service: PITimeSeries
I am having issue when trying to call OSI PI web service using http post. it is returning status 0 when i am using exception handler in BLS.
Same web service works fine with basichttpbinding (SOAP 1.1) but with wshttpbinding (SOAP 1.2) it is giving error.
Following are Web config binding details for web service.
<wsHttpBinding>
<binding name="wsBinding_2011" sendTimeout="00:01:00" receiveTimeout="00:10:00" bypassProxyOnLocal="false" transactionFlow="false" hostNameComparisonMode="StrongWildcard" maxBufferPoolSize="524288" maxReceivedMessageSize="65536" messageEncoding="Text" textEncoding="utf-8" useDefaultWebProxy="true" allowCookies="false">
<reliableSession ordered="true" inactivityTimeout="00:10:00" enabled="false" />
<security mode="Message">
<message clientCredentialType="Windows" negotiateServiceCredential="true" algorithmSuite="Default" establishSecurityContext="true" />
</security>
</binding>
</wsHttpBinding>
I am not sure it could be the issue with passing windows credentials.
Did anybody consumed WCF web service with wshttpbinding with security mode as Message and clientCredentialType as Windows.
Also i was trying to pass MYSAPSSO2 SSO token to service in http post but first i am not sure if this is correct windows token and second which header property of service should be mapped and i am not sure that I am going into correct direction or not.
Please let me know what i am missing.
I have tried following other options and tools:
SOAP UI: basichttpbinding works fine for wshttpbinding receiving Internal Server error in log and Response as
The security context token is expired or is not valid.
MII Web Service Action Block: basichttpbinding works fine for wshttpbinding not able to configure url through wizard because as per my discussion with other MII experts MII does not support SOAP1.2. that is one reason for using http post.
WCF Storm: both bindings works fine (There is option to select windows authentication and Impersonation level as delegation)
WCF Test Client: Both bindings works fine
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks & Regards,
Manoj BilthareHi Sam,
The web service is valid following are details of testing on various tools.

Issue with calling external web service with authentication details ...
Hi,
I am facing a deployment issue with Oracle ESB. I am trying to call an external Web Service with authentication from ESB SOAP Service. It is working fine with my local ESB version 10.1.3.3.0 Build PCBPEL_10.1.3.3.0_GENERIC_070615.0525; however it is getting an error at our development ESB version 10.1.3.3.1 Build PCBPEL_10.1.3.3.1_GENERIC_RELEASE.
I am getting following error.

Calling web service with basic authentication from EP "unauthorized"
Hello,
I need to call a .NET web service with basic authentication on the IIS from my portal application (no http proxy between portal and IIS). But always I get the following exception:
<b>com.sap.engine. services.webservices.jaxm.soap.accessor. NestedSOAPException:
Problem in server response: [Unauthorized].</b>
I'm using the following code for calling the .NET web service:
<b>...</b><i>Licence_GetList lParameter = new Licence_GetList();
lParameter.setStatus(CEnvironment.TransformStatus_WebService(search));
ILicenceManager lLicMan = (ILicenceManager) PortalRuntime.getRuntimeResources().getService("LicenceManager");
ILicenceManager lLicManSecure = lLicMan.getSecurisedServiceConnection(request.getUser());
Licence_GetListResponse lGetListResponse = lLicManSecure.Licence_GetList(lParameter);</i><b>...</b>
I've also configured a http system in the portal system landscape using the following parameters:
<i>Authentication Method : Basic Authentication
Authentication Type : Server
User Mapping Type : admin,user</i>
The user mapping is also personalized for this system!
What's wrong? Please help! This is really urgent!
Kind Regards
Joerg LoechnerHello Renjith,
here is a small cutout of my "portapp.xml";
<services>
<service alias="LicenceManager" name="LicenceManager">
<service-config>
<property name="className" value="de.camelotidpro.
pct.xi.scm.webservice.LicenceManager"/>
<property name="startup" value="false"/>
<property name="WebEnable" value="false"/>
<property name="WebProxy" value="true"/>
<property name="SecurityZone" value="de.camelotidpro.
pct.xi.scm.webservice.LicenceManager/
DefaultSecurity"/>
</service-config>
<service-profile>
<property name="SystemAlias" value="LicMan_NET"/
</service-profile>
</service>
</services>
I'm using a http system created in the system landscape (alias LicMan_NET). But it seems that this system is not used by the web service call (No error, even if I delete this system!). The code used to call this web service can be found at the top of this threat...

Connect to Secure web service with certificate from SAP EP
Hi Experts,
Here is the current situation:
1. Our business requirement is to connect 3rd party RESTful web service which requires secure connection with private client certificate attached
2. I've tested in my Java test application and successfully attached private certificate to HttpsURLConection request to the web service and made a connection. No problem at all.
KeyStore keyStore = KeyStore.getInstance("PKCS12");
InputStream inputStream = new FileInputStream("privateKeyCert.p12");
keyStore.load(inputStream, "myPassword".toCharArray());
KeyManagerFactory keyManagerFactory = KeyManagerFactory.getInstance(KeyManagerFactory.getDefaultAlgorithm());
keyManagerFactory.init(keyStore, "myPassword".toCharArray());
KeyManager[] kms = keyManagerFactory.getKeyManagers();
SSLContext sslContext = SSLContext.getInstance("SSL");
sslContext.init(kms, null, new SecureRandom());
SSLSocketFactory sockFact = sslContext.getSocketFactory();
URL url = new URL("https://www.thirdpartywebservice.com/testroot/");
HttpsURLConnection conn = (HttpsURLConnection) url.openConnection();
conn.setSSLSocketFactory(sockFact);
conn.setRequestMethod("POST");
conn.setDoOutput(true);
conn.setDoInput(true);
conn.setUseCaches(false);
conn.setDefaultUseCaches (false);
conn.setRequestProperty("Content-Type", "text/xml");
3. Next, I tried to apply my Java application to SAP EP NetWeaver, and found that I have to use SecureConnectionFactory:
https://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70ehp1/helpdata/en/e2/71c83edf72e16be10000000a114084/content.htm
4. So, I modified my Java code for SAP EP:
KeyStore keyStore = KeyStore.getInstance("PKCS12");
InputStream inputStream = this.getClass().getClassLoader().getResourceAsStream("privateKeyCert.p12");
keyStore.load(inputStream, "myPassword".toCharArray());
SecureConnectionFactory scFactory = new SecureConnectionFactory(keyStore);
HttpURLConnection conn = scFactory.createURLConnection("https://www.thirdpartywebservice.com/testroot/");
conn.setRequestMethod("POST");
conn.setDoOutput(true);
conn.setDoInput(true);
conn.setUseCaches(false);
conn.setDefaultUseCaches (false);
conn.setRequestProperty("Content-Type", "text/xml");
And I'm facing the following error message:
Exception: java.security.UnrecoverableKeyException: ja
va.security.GeneralSecurityException: Unable to decrypt private key: javax.crypto.BadPaddingException: Invalid PKCS#5 padding length: 253
Could you please help me what this error message means?
Do you think do I need to to do some other configuration to make connection to web service with client certificate?
This is our first approach. Please help...
Thank you in advance.SunJSSE implement SSL server CertificateRequest in a strict mode, if client failed to find a proper certificate corresponding the server request, it does not guess what's the proper certificate and send to the server. In your case, because there is no intermediate certificate in the client context, so there is no way to make the decision which certificate would be acceptable by server, so client does not send any cert to server. That's why you got a handshaking error.
I guess your client key store does not contains a full certificate path from the client end-entity certificate to the root CA. Please import the full certificate path into the key store.
BTW, these approaches should work, but I found no reason why one does not adopt #1:
1. import the full certification path of client certificate into client key store.
2. as a workaround, configure the server to send a list including the intermediate certificates;
3. as a workaround, you will have to customize the client KeyManager if you don't want to or are not able to configure the server to send a list including the intermediate certificates. -
How to use web services with Dynamic url behaviour
Hi,
IView created by me currently uses some web services whose url behavior is static but i want to give a dynamic url behavior. i.e. i want to use the url which user provides. So here are my questions
1. How I shall assign the url supplied by the user to IView?
2. If I want to set some config variables during runtimes how I shall do it?
Thanks in advance,
VishveshHi,
1. I'm guessing you mean the webservice's url the user provides is pointing to an identical webservice to what you used to create your proxy... otherwise I think it will be very hard to do (I can imagine creating the proxies using the wsdl tool in run time or using code dome.. but that can't be what you want, right?).
So if what you wanted is to use the same web service with a different url, then the web service's proxy class you created has API for doing this in code! (it inherits it)
2. you can't, simply since the portal application doesn't ever use the config file... it isn't even deployed to the portal... so dynamic properties are "out of the question" here, sorry... see 1 again

Building client proxies for web services with SOAP attachemtns
Hi all.
I'm currently building a series of web services that take SOAP attachments as
input, but I am unable to generate the java proxies for testing the services via
WebLogic Workshop 8.1. When I attempt to build the proxy, I get the following
error:
Warning: Failed to generate client proxy from WSDL definition for this service.
Suggestion: Please verify the <types> section of the WSDL.
Is there something I need to alter to get this to work, or does workshop not support
client proxies for web services with DataHandler parameters?
Thanks.
-BrianThanks for the help. This is my first web service with SOAP attachments, so it
may have been a long time till I realized that.

Thanks Brian,
The problem is that you are trying to use the "document" soap-style :-)
If you change this to "rpc", you'll should be able to successfully generate
the
client proxy jar. The soap-style property, is at the bottom of the "protocol"
property sheet section, for the JWS.

Hi Brian,
Would it be possible for you to post the WSDL, so we can see what might

Has anyone ever consumed an external web service with SSL certificate security? How do you import this in your Web Dynpro project?
Cheers!Hi Alain,
I just checked on a newer NW environment (NW 7.2) and was presented an empty list as well... It seems the mapping procedure I described is deprecated since NW 7.11, and the modeled CAF application service is already exposed as a web service.
You may want to have a look at http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nwce711/helpdata/en/43/f173947bbb025be10000000a1553f7/content.htm or http://scn.sap.com/message/7852996 for more info -
HP Photosmart Plus B210 unable to enable web service
I just moved this printer from one location to another. I have the printer connected to the network - but I am unable to enable web services. I just keep getting a Service Connection Error that says "There was a problem connecting to the Server."
I've looked for solutions on the HP site - but none of them have worked for me.
Any help is greatly appreciated!

View Solution.Hi again LuAnn_Freund,
Try the same steps that eunicerocksify suggested, but try these DNS settings;
Primary DNS Server = 209.244.0.3
Secondary DNS Server = 209.244.0.4
If those do not work, I would suggest speaking with HP's Cloud Support Team to get this issue looked at first hand by an agent that can log onto your computer. I understand that you are posting on the Forums for a reason, but since you only have today remaining to work on a resolution, speaking with them would be best.

Calling Web Service with SOAP header from BPEL
Hi,
I am calling a web service (with header information) from BPEL. In the Invoke activity, i created a header variable to pass the header information.
But, when i test the BPEL service, invoke activity fails because the header information is not being passed.
Below is the error message (copied from clipboard).
+<messages><input><Invoke_1_getsubinfo_InputVariable><part xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" name="parameters"><getsubinfoElement xmlns="http://ws/its/tabs/webservices/SingleRowWS/SingleRowWS.wsdl">+

start fault message:+
Internal Server Error (Caught exception while handling request: javax.xml.rpc.JAXRPCException: Not authenticated user)+
*:end fault message*</summary>
+</part></bindingFault></fault></messages>+
As said, no header information is visible in the Invoke activity.
Please provide help for the above issue.
-MJHello Patrick,
Thanks for the response. I am using normal assign activity to assign values to the header variable as shown below. HeadMT is the header variable which is passed in the invoke activity.
+<assign name="Assign_Header">+

+<to query="/ns1:LOGIN_INFO/ns1:USER_NAME" variable="*HeadMT*"+
part="payload"/>

+<from expression="'TKL'"/>+
+<to query="/ns1:LOGIN_INFO/ns1:CHANNEL_ID" variable="*HeadMT*"+
part="payload"/>

The expected input by the web service is as below with the header information highlighted.

Hey guys,
I am quite new in using BPEL. My first test worked fine, but know I have an issue, which I can not solve. Invoking web services with a basic return value is no problem. I could also you a dto object including some basic variables in order to invoke the web service without having problems.
But when I have a dto object as return value, I get the following exception.
Could someone give me a hint to fix my problem...that would be great!
Thanks alot!
Sven

Calling Reporting Services Web Service with jQuery possible?
Hi,
is it possible to call the Reporting Services Web Service with jQuery? If yes, can someone post me a small example?
Background:
My plan is to create a html with a form which is also uploaded then into the reportserver. I open this html later by clicking a link in a report (with gotoURL open.window). The report opens the html inclusive the overtaken of some additional parameters
(reportname, reportdescription). These parameters I will use in the html-form as defaultvalues for the corresponding input-text-fields. Now the user can make some changes (i.e. the decription). With a click on a button I will send the new description to
the Reporting Services Web Service by using the SetProperties method, closing the html-window and reload the report. Important is that I want to upload the html also into the reportserver itself.
I have already found how to consume a web service via jQuery but with the Reporting Services Web Service I did not get it running in my tests.
I have referenced to the following jQuery.js: http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.7.1/jquery.min.js
Here you can see my tests I made with the results:
$.ajax({
type: 'POST',
url: 'http://<..>/ReportServer/ReportService2010.asmx/ListChildren',
data: {'ItemPath':'/','Recursive':false},
complete: function(xData, status) {
$('p').html($(xData.responseXML).text()); // result
$("#divStatus").text( status ); // status }
I got a NULL response with Status success. But where are the items?
Another test which should response only one value was that:
$.ajax({
type: "POST",
contentType: "text/xml; charset=utf-8",
url: "http://<..>/ReportServer/ReportService2010.asmx/GetItemType",
data: {"Item":"/Development"}, // Development is a Folder in my Reportserver-Root
dataType: "xml",
success: function (msg) {
$("#divResult").html(msg.responseXML);
error: function (data, status, error) {
$("#divResult").html("WebSerivce unreachable<br> <br>" + data.responseXML + "<br> <br>(" + error + ")");
Here I got an [object Error]
And here my last test:
var soapMessage = '<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>\
<soap:Envelope \
xmlns:soap="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/" \
xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" \
xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema">\
<soap:Body>\
<GetItemType xmlns="http://www.microsoft.com/sql/ReportingServer">\
<ItemPath>/Development</ItemPath>\
</GetItemType>\
</soap:Body>\
</soap:Envelope>';
$.ajax({
type: "POST",
contentType: "text/xml; charset=utf-8",
url: http://<..>/ReportServer/ReportService2010.asmx?wsdl,
data: soapMessage,
dataType: "xml",
success: processSuccess,
error: processError
function processSuccess(data, status, req) {
if (status == "success")
$("#response").text($(req.responseXML).find("Type").text());
function processError(data, status, req) {
alert(req.responseText + " " + status);
Here I got an "Undefined error"
Can anyone help me?
Thanks
