Unable to Modify quantity in STO

Experts,
We are in post implementation support for mill products. User Created a STO with qty X, later he wanted to modify qty to Y system is not allowing to modify. After changing the qty when he try to save STO system says no data is changed. He can create a new line in the same STO for same material for any quantity, but system is not allowing to change the qty in existing line item. It allows to change delivery date but not qty. Can some one help me to resolve this issue.

Hi Vikram,
Please verify if the person changing the STO belongs to the receiving plant.It could be an authorisation problem if the person's authorisation is only for the supplying plant.

Assuming your using Xcelsius 2008, have you tried exporting the spreadsheet (Data > Export), check the exported workbook for passwords and then re-imported the spreadsheet back into your model?

Cannot click on gmail icon, google maps icon, ect... there is just a blank bar and you can do nothing.

Do you have the latest version of the Google Toolbar?

I have noticed that I am unable to modify properties of my template. The "Template Properties" menu is disabled.
I made a basic html page and saved as template, by thinking that my template is not proper.
But nothing change
What migth be reason for this strange situation in CS5 and the any solution?

Unable to Modify DB_block_Size for OWB installation

We are try to install OWB server on oracle DB server in windows xp professional, at the time of installation oracle suggests to increase db_block_size from 8192 to at least 16k for better performance. We are unable to modify the same thru Console or enterprise manager in INIT file since it is disabled or even we tried with multiple options but no use.
Can you please help us ASAP & let us know if any clarification required.

Your advice is completely incorrect in any currently supported version of Oracle.

Unable to modify database

hi,
i'm unable to perform the following operations:
unarchive a repository
create a new repository
create a new repository from schema
duplicate repository
i'm getting the error "unable to modify database".
I have tried restarting the MDM server but the problem persists.
This problem has never occured before. Has someone faced this issue before? if yes then could you kindly provide the cause and resolution?
I'm on SP05 patch2 HF1 (build 5.5.42.57). MDM is running on Oracle.

This error occurs due to a problem with the database on which MDM server is seated.
You can try one of these options to correct this problem:
- Check the oracle data base Listener configuration
- Stop and start the oracle service from the system on which it is installed.
Start->Program->oracle->
- After doing this stop and start the MDM service.
- Then try performing the above activities.
It should work.I had faced the similar error.

I am unable to modify calendar events

Hi,
While posting STO grn the error message is displayed "Part1 will not be done for the excess GR quantity".
We have checked CIN settings for Excise groups, the "GRs per EI" is maintained as "2 Multiple goods receipt, multiple credit".
In J1ID, for materials it is already maintained as "2 Multiple goods receipt, multiple credit".
No partial GR is posted for the delivery.
Still system is throwing the error message "Part1 will not be done for the excess GR quantity".

Did you go to the Resources page itself?
Try going to resources page from Enterprise-Resources and then select the resource then Modify, subsequently in the window opened you should be able to enter the text. It should work it because am also using V8.2 itself.

How delivery quantity of STO affected by avalilability check defined in SD?

Hi all,
Under SPRO purchasing, setup STO, I setup document type and shipping point to use delivery type NL and checking rule of availability check as "RP".
I thought the checking group "02" in material master and checking rule "RP" here will define availibility check when create delivery for STO with VL10B.
Apparently, the other checking rule "B" was actually used, since the changes to the "avalability checking control" "02+B" took effect. I have safety stock of quantity 5, changing the availibilty check "02+B" to "include safety stock", I got 5 more available. Changes to "02+RP" has no effect at all.
There must be another place where "B" was defined, which overwritten the setup in SPRO purchasing, setup STO.
So where the setup could be?

The problem I am having now, it the at the same place of SPRO:
-->Materials Management -->Purchasing -->Purchase Order -->
Set up Stock Transport Order -->Assign Delivery Type and Checking Rule,
Another field: CRI: Checking rule for availablity check "RP", it was not used, the other rule "B" was actually used, that must have been setup somewhere else, it should be in SD, just couldn't figure where.
In "avalability checking control" "02+RP", I have "Include safety stock" checked off.
In STO, I tried the option "C" in the notes you recommanded, the quantity committed is 13, whichi is correct, I have inventory 13. Also have safety stock 5 in material master, the delivery that was created only has quantity 8.
In "avalability checking control" "02+B", I didn't check off "Include safety stock". to test, after I checked off it, Then I got delivery of quantity 13.
So "B" must be setup somewhere in SD, for the delivery.

Committed quantity in STO document.

I have create one stock transfer document, At that stock availebale, So system committed this quantity against that line item, But after that i have delete this line item in STO document, But in STO document same committed quantity showing. But i want to after remove line item in STO document committed quantity also remove.
Pls tell me any configuration missing for this. what is the solution.

Minimum order quantity for STO UB DOC type

Hello Guru's,
This issue is regarding STO (UB doc type):-
Client's requisrement is while creating the STO using trax ME21N system should issue an warning message, if the STO line item exceeds the Minimum order quantity mantain in Material master data.
For Standard PO works fine because that we can set it in Info record, but in STO for UB doc type it is not working, since we can't create info record for STO.
Is there any settings availabe in SAP for Minimum order qty for STO (UB doc type).

Not sure if I know one either,.. however you could always validate it through a user exit. Maintain a Z-table with the order type, Supplying plant and qty filds.. min-max and any other and validate it each time during check and save..

GR needs higher Quantity than STO Purchase order Qunatity

Pl suggest whicle in case of STO Purchase order, I want to receive higher quantity than PO qunatity.
After doing all Captured part-I, when Check button is activated..it showing

Even I tried to change the system message in OMCQ in warning message, still showing the same.

Unable to modify ANY C2S configurations

New BM3.8 server. Trying to set up VPM C2S services.
When I try to modify any DEFAULT or NEW Client to Site configurations, I get this error message when I click on OK. Unable to add any new traffic or authentication rules.
The Client To Site Service was modified partially. The Failed Items:
One or More Traffic Rules.

Truthfully, I tried many things and not sure what fixed it but I know I did follow the Console One steps in TID 10089619
I also make my VPN (BM) server that Master of the partition that this VPN(BM) server resided in. I really believe this solved the problem.

Found this TID # 10098678 that is my exact error, but can't figure what else to try to fix it.
