Unable to move article between the Hierarchy nodes

Hai Guys,
When I try to move an article from one Article Hierarchy node to another I am getting the following error. I am unable to dig into this also from the "Performance Assistant". Can somebody help me in this regard?
"BW extraction: Incorrect update of material 000000000085007602 with node H8-R095236"

Unable to move photos between albums in search mode

I am unable to move picture between albums when I have done a search for a title etc. eg. search for 'Leeds' brings up 20 pics one album and 15 in another, but the two albums are several years apart (possibly 100's of rolls!).
Why am I unable to then drag the pics from one roll to another? Is this a known issue? Very annoying when dealing with various project over various years and the only way is to drag the pics all the way down, often getting lost!!

You may be able to do it as follows:
1 - assign a unique keyword to each of those files. Something like "AAAAAAAA" will stand out when you're looking for it.
2 -set the view options to View keywords only.
3 - set the sort option to sort by keyword.
4 - now look for that unique keyword, select them all and create a new roll. To see the new roll you'll have to reset rolls to be viewed.
If there are more than one keyword for those photos, the the first keyword assigned to that photo will determine where it falls in the listing of photos. So it's best if there are no keywords other than the unique one.

TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.

Additional info...I am trying to delete these emails from a Webmail address. the Trash currently has 11 messages and they arent being deleted.

Try turning the account off and on : Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars , then tap the account on the right, slide Mail to 'off', exit settings and go back into the Mail app, and then go back to Settings and slide Mail back to 'on'
If that doesn't work then try closing the Mail app via the taskbar : from the home screen (i.e. not with the Mail app 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the Mail app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
Another option is a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.
If you still can't delete them then go into Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars, select the account on the right-hand side of that screen, select Account, then Advanced, Deleted Mailbox, and under On The Server tap the 'Trash' folder so that it gets a tick against it - then come out of that series of popups by tapping on the relevant buttons at the top of them and then see if you can delete emails.

Process to change the order of the hierarchy nodes

What is the process to change the order of the hierarchy nodes ( and associated attributes) through import manager? any pdf's or doc's regarding this?

In Import Manager it is not possible to change the order of hierarchy nodes or the order of the linked attributes.

Allow user to type in the Hierarchy node value in Hierarchy node varaible

Hi Experts,
We are presently on NW2004s SP8 and we are moving on to SP10.
We got the requirement in reporting...
1.To allow the user to type in the Hierarchy node value in Hierarchy node variable manually.
2. When user typing the Hierarchy node value into the Variable prompt, bring subtree by default.
By default Hierarchy node variable prompt is grayed out and the user can only select the values from Input help(F4).
I have put forward an SAP message on this topic earlier and got a reply that the manual entry of hierarchy node is not possible and there is no work around. User needs to select it from HELP. This is because the node value must be in a certain format which the users may not know.
I just want to know from u Experts... is there any new feature available in SP09/10 or is there any other way to satisfy this requirement ?

We are able to manually enter in a hierarchy node in the selection screen. The selection screen is not grayed out.
We are currently on SPS 009, but one difference could be that we are on a Bex 3.5 Patch 10 front end.

How to Create BO in BOPF as to hold 3 different Nodes as Transient and Data sharing between the 3 Nodes ?

My requirement :
I have to create a FBI OVP Application, Displaying Search UIBB in the first Section .(Fetches Data from Standard Table)
Below this search UIBB I have to create a List UIBB (Name it as LIST_1) in the Second Section to display Search Result.(This List UIBB has to Tool Bar Actions like 'Delete' & 'MOVE' . user select a record from the list and click on delete action, Delete action has to remove the Record from the list ).
Below this List UIBB we have another List UIBB (Name it as LIST_2) which Holds the Records Moved from the LIST_1.(User selects a record in LIST_1 and Clicks on action 'MOVE' the selected record in the LIST_1 has to be Removed and it should be place in the LIST_2 ).
My Development Plan :
Step 1 : Creating a BO of type Controller Object.
Step 2 : Make ROOT Node as Transient Node-->Propose Names for Data structure, combined structure, combined Table type. Provide fields in the data type and Generate Dictionary Objects.
Create LIST_1 and LIST_2 as transient nodes ---> Propose Names for Data structure, combined structure, combined Table type. Provide fields in the data type and Generate Dictionary Objects.
For LIST_1 Create Actions 'DELETE' & 'MOVE'
Question 1) How to code to delete a Record from the LIST_1 in DELETE Action?
Question 2) How to Code to move a Record from the LIST_1 to LIST_2 based on user selection in the LIST_1 in MOVE Action ?
Question 3) Is this Possible to Handle all the 3 nodes in my requirement in a single BO or I Should Create 3 different BO as in my requirement the 3 nodes are independent and in the BO it uses KEY and Parent_Key relation with the SUB Node, Is this possible to handle all the 3 independent nodes in single BO ?
Question 4) If i Create # different BO How can i achieve this Functionality ?

Hello Kranti,
As I understand , you have all the required data in non BO existing standard tables. You now want to represent this data as a business object. What you need is a BO wrapper on this existing data , and a controller object would be one way to achieve this ( in theory ). Or you can create a Business Process Object/Master Data Object that acts as a BO wrapper ( with its own buffer implementation ) on top of existing data/APIs , see the standard Business Process Object BO /BOFU/BASIS_APPLICATION_LOG as an example. The Master Data Object /BOFU/BUSINESSPARTNER is another example.
Question 1) How to code to delete a Record from LIST_1 in DELETE Action ?
There is nothing to be done here. The underlying data source for the list is a BO node and the standard Delete action that you get as part of regular CRUD for a BO node will do the job. However note that this delete just deletes the record from the buffer, if this now needs to be translated to an actual delete in the standard table then you need to handle that.
There are two ways to handle the actual update to the table based on how you consume the data from the table. You can do the update within a determination set to Before Save (Before writing data). Or , you can create your own buffer implementation and handle your data manipulation there.
Question 2) How to Code to move a Record from the LIST_1 to LIST_2 based on user selection in the LIST_1 in MOVE Action ?
Add the record to the underlying node for List_2 and remove the record from the underlying node of List_1.Again , this is just buffer data manipulation , the standard tables are not touched , you will need to handle that.
Question 3) Is this Possible to Handle all the 3 nodes in my requirement in a single BO or I Should Create 3 different BO as in my requirement the 3 nodes are independent and in the BO it uses KEY and Parent_Key relation with the SUB Node, Is this possible to handle all the 3 independent nodes in single BO ?
Your BO design depends upon your requirements/use case/functionalities. Is the data related and can be defined as constituent of a single business entity ? If yes , then it should ideally be a single business object. In short , let your functionality decide the scope of your business object. Technical considerations should be secondary.
In addition , remember that too many Business Objects will create a performance overhead.
The use case that you provide is technical and it does not give me enough info to advise on the scope of the business object(s) you will need to create. From a technical perspective , handling 3 nodes in the same business object to address your use case is very much possible.
Question 4) If i Create # different BO How can i achieve this Functionality ?
I will indulge in this question from a point of technical feasibility. When you have multiple BOs and you want to establish a relationship between them , this is achieved by using Business Object Representation nodes. Business Object Representation nodes enable cross BO associations that establish a relationship between a node of the source BO with a node of the target BO.

Unable to move RemoteApp between monitors

I have a Server 2012 farm with 4 RD hosts for remote apps, 2 RD Brokers and one server running the rdweb role. Up until last Thursday, users were able to move remote apps between multiple monitors with no problems. Users use Windows Professional, SP1.
Friday, users were unable to move a remote app to a different monitor. The only change that was made, was on the session hosts, the DPI scaling was set to manual (at 115%) and the session hosts were restarted.
I changed the setting back today and Remote Apps are still stuck on one monitor.
Some things I have tried:
1. Checking the monitor positions in the resolutions settings, for example 1,2 and 3 and moving the taskbar to the primary monitor.
2. I have checked the settings in the RDP file to make sure span monitor and multiple monitor was still enabled. It was...
3. I tried disabling the Session Host GPOs (which only set resolution anyway).
4. I have another 2012 RD setup with all roles on one server, and RemoteApp movement works fine.
5. Verified mstsc.exe version on both setups. It is 6.3.9600
Any help would be appreciated.

How to display the Hierarchy Node Level in BEx

Hi Folks,
In my report I have a Hierarchy. I have to display the Node level of the Hierarchy in the output.
For Eg:
If I have BB under AA root node then in the output it should display Level 1 for AA and Level 2 for BB.

I don't think it is possble to display the hierarchy level in the report itself.
However, if you go to properties of the characteristic where you have the hierarchy defined, there you can expand the hierarchy to a pre-defined level...I guess you know that.

I've been working on creating a windows server 2008 R2 cluster for about a month now and I keep getting an error whenever I try to add a 2nd node. I keep
getting The cluster node is not reachable. However, when I validate the configuration, everything goes through success. I created and destroyed the cluster a couple of times, but no luck. I even re-installed Windows Server 2008 R2 on both servers, re-configured
the iSCSI, and the same warning keeps coming up.
I installed a new a new SQL Server 2008R2 Named Instance on an exisiting SQL Server cluster node (Node 1 &Node2). When I try to manually fail
over
the Services and applications to another node (Node1 to node2) using Failover Cluster Manager, I get the errors
The cluster has these Events:
Event ID
1069: Cluster resource 'IP Address xx.xx.xx.xx' in clustered service or application 'ClusterDtc' failed.
Event ID 1205:The Cluster service failed to bring clustered service or application 'ClusterDtc' completely online
or offline. One or more resources may be in a failed state. This may impact the availability of the clustered service or application..
Why the cloud server doesn’t move to node2? you can see screen shorts below.

That would be a typical work around in this situation. But what we intend to do cannot be accomplished through this work around as we need the validations to complete successfully.
We are looking for an option either to get the driver signed or use a different signed adapter for the same. Could you please suggest us something on that line.

Unfortunately this is not something that we would be able to do in a virtual environment; You are welcome to try different drivers however we would not be able to provide any support
for untrusted drivers. The only true solution would be to upgrade from a VM to a dedicated server where you would have control of all the drivers as there is no virtualization layer to
contend with. Stepping into the territory of untested drivers for a custom configuration in a virtual environment will certainly prove to be an uphill battle.
I would advise contacting Microsoft's support for additional assistance as they will be able to provide the most accurate information regarding this concern.

Unable to move webparts between zones in chrome and Firefox

Hi Everybody,
I have created publishing site in sharepoint 2013, and no customization is done. Master page is applied - Seattle.master
Issues found - Moving webpart between different zones in webpart page is not working in chrome and firefox.
Steps-
1. Edit the webpart page.
2. Add one webpart.
3. Move or drag the webpart to other zones.
Issue - It is working fine in IE-10, but not working in chrome and firefox.
Kindly help me, if this is the Out of the box sharepoint2013 limitation for chrome and firefox. Or is there any alternate solution.

Hi Swapmil,
Choose "Edit Page" from the Site Actions menu, you can then drag web parts between web part zones. But this only works in Internet Explorer.
In other browsers you don't have drag, but you can edit the web parts and choose a new zone for it.

Unable to move emails between folders in mail in its 5

Since upgrading to ios 5 I have found that I am unable to bulk move emails from the sent folder to another folder. I'm in construction so my sent folder has emails concerning about 30 projects, during down time I used to search the sent emails by one or two words then bulk move them to another folder. Under ios 5 I have been unable to do this. Is there a fix or is this something apple is aware of? This is on an exchange account and moving one email at a time works fine.
Also is there a better mail app than the standard one? Overall it's kind of anemic.

According to your description, it seems like this is a client-side issue more than exchange issue.
However, I also recommend you refer to the following methods to troubleshoot the issue and it may help us to narrow down the issue:
1. Try to create two new folders and move again
2. Try to recreate outlook profile
3. Try upgrading outlook 2010 to latest version
4. Try to move the mailbox to another database

And it(0ACCOUNT) has some accounts(4001, 4002, 4003) and other reamining other fileds values .
I want to restrict the '0ACCOUNT' values for some hierarchy nodes . How can i do this one in transformations .

Names for the hierarchy nodes???

Dear Friends,
During the process of loading hierarchies for 0MATERIAL, I have loaded the hierarchy Product Hierarchies for Material MARA (PRDHA) and when I go to the display mode of the loaded hierarchy under InfoObject 0MATERIAL, it has the nodes numbered (1,2,3 etc) but the names of the nodes do not appear as expected. Now how do I get the names for the nodes? Is there anything that I am missing?
Also is there any documentation which explains the procedure for loading hierarchies for 0MATERIAL? All or any help will be appreciated.

No communication between the two nodes in weblogic cluster

Hi All,
We have installed weblogic cluster in our environment(LINUX 64-Redhat.5).On one node admin server ,managed server1,on second node we have managed server2.When we try to deploy application on one node it is not getting reflected in othe node.We have ran datagram test to check communication between 2 node.
Here we observed that listener and pulisher are picking wrong IPs not the server Ips.
can any one explain why and what is the problem.

While performing the datagram test you mention the ports and ip so I am not sure how they are picking wrong ip and port. Follow the instructions to perform the test http://coherence.oracle.com/display/COH35UG/Performing+a+Datagram+Test+for+Network+Performance
Re the deployments, you need to ensure that multicast is enabled in your environment and both your managed server are in the same subnet otherwise you need to specify WKA for unicast communication.
