Unable to move objects, message appears

I randomly received this message tonight when I was trying to move some objects around my artboard.
"Can't move the objects. The requested transformation would make some objects fall completely off the drawing area"
Not sure what is going on. I tried to copy and paste my drawings in a different file and the same message appeared.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Select all.. then zoom out as far as you can. You probebly have an object way of in a corner of the pasteboard somewhere.

During our upgrade process to PT5 we had to move our crawlers into the new admin hierarchy. When moving one crawler I received the following error message:
Error - Unable to move objects.
I successfully moved crawlers from the same folder into other folders. Security is set correctly and I cannot see any reason for this error message as such.
Has anyone else come across this problem? If so - how can I get around/fix it?

i think currently you have multiple change lists in your userid and the problem is that some objects in one change list which you are trying to activate is also in some other change list..........
so my suggestion - do a reject change list of all the change lists.........if you are using file transfer mode for transfering ID objects, then in import directory you will be having our import files.........then again import your ID objects by importing one file at a time and changing it to your userid and then activating it.
if suppose by the above method, it will take a lot of effort to transfer all the config objects, then i will suggest you to again export all the configuration objects by exporting all the configuration scenarios in ID in one attempt by file transfer mechanism in your XI DEV system.........and then import this in your XI QUA system.

These apps cannot be accepted by your Apple ID.
These apps were already assigned to another Apple ID, and they will be available in that Apple ID's Purchases list. If you don't have access to that Apple ID and want to receive future updates, you will need to purchase the applications.

You need to either delete and buy them, or get whoever holds that Apple ID to tell Apple to release them. On a Mac, deleting the applications won't affect their data, but that should be backed up anyway.

Adobe Creative Suite CS5 is acting up. In Illustrator i was unable to move objects with my mouse and tried solving the problem in different ways - it still didnt work. So i opened up photoshop. I was unable to open a file in photoshop (new or old) and when i finally did manage to open something, I am unable to do many things.
1) i cannot crop canvas
2) i cannot resize canvas
3) text dissapears after i type it
4) brush strokes dissapear after i release mouse
etc
What should i do??

Nobody can help you without system info or otehr details. From your description this could be driver issues with a tablet if you use one or similar issues with a programmable custom mouse... Most definitely not an issue within the programs. Unplug your mouse and tablet, uninstall and reinstall the drivers, try another input device...

Unable to move object. Change lists were not part of the same import

Hi All
I am facing a strange problem.
We have applied SP16 patch on our XI box and imported all the scenario objects and design objects which were exported as .tpz file .
After importing scenario object,all objects moved to a new node 'XI 3.0 Import' in change list and when I tried to activate this change list it gave me an error
"Unable to move object. Change lists were not part of the same import"
even if I try to move it Standard change list, it gives me same error.
Any solution?

I was renting a movie using iTunes on to my iPod. It downloaded perfectly. However halfway through the movie, a message appeared on my screen and said unable to load video. I've tried replaying it but it always stops at the same point.

After updating to the newest update when I type messages in Facebook or gmail I am unable to see at what am typing as I am unable to move the message up..is there a fix?

The Split Keyboard feature may have been enabled accidentally when you updated.
If the keyboard is up on the middle of the screen, or covering text and the text is not moving up as expected - tap and hold down on the little keyboard and icon and select - Dock
You can turn the split keyboard off in Settings>General>Keyboard>Split Keyboard>Off.

Unable to move objects (They snap back to their original place) and certain menu items don't work

Using CS5, have been using this version for over a year and have never seen this problem -
When I try to move any object by selecting and then trying to drag, it won't let me. It allows me to drag while selected maybe half an inch before not moving anymore, and then snaps back to the original position anyway. I CAN move by using transform - move, or selecting and using arrow keys. When I restart my computer everything seems fine, but then it soon gives me this same problem.
Also, when I'm having the object moving issue I also have problems with dropdown menus. For example when printing, I can see the list of printers, but clicking them has no effect. Another example is the Preferences menu box, clicking "Type" or "Units" has no effect.
Please help!!

Do you have any 3rd parts Ilustrator plug ins? If you are on windows can you do a system restore back to a date before this was happening (Win is much more susectible to mallware/trojan horse/virus)

Unable to move object

Hey there everyone, I'm new to flash and following a tutorial on how to make a small game. I've made some subtle changes, namely I imported .png's and made them into shapes and now am trying to move them. Here is the tutorial:

I'm completely at loss to what the problem could be, everything appears fine on screen, but the ship simply doesn't move.

Ah yes, can't believe I missed that. However I'm getting another problem now. When I attempt to pass a reference of stage into the constructor the compiler throws an error:
1136: Incorrect number of arguments. Expected 0.
I'm not sure why I'm getting this as the PlayerShip constructor is set up to accept a reference of Stage.

Unable to move addons; not appearing in the customize toolbar menu

I want to move my addon icons and such for a few of my extensions (Forecast Fox, Webmail Notifier), but they are locked to my menu bar or are simply not appearing. When I go to the customize toolbar screen, the addons in question are not present to be selected and refuse to be moved from their present positions to somewhere more favorable.
How can I shift their locations so I don't have to hit Alt just to see the forecast?

When attempting to move the Forecast Fox toolbar display, you have to be viewing this page - http://www.getforecastfox.com/customize/16/
That page automatically opens when you hit the Options button for that extension in Extensions on the Add-ons Manager tab in Firefox 4+ versions. This is the only extension that I have ever seen which did preference settings in this manner.

Iphone 5s - IBM Notes Traveler 9.01 -Unable to move messages to trash after a few hours

I have a problem with one of my Iphone 5s users. Everything was working with his IPhone 4S, but the phone died and so they replaced it with a 5S
We are using an IBM Lotus Notes 9.01 Server (latest FP patch) and Traveler 9.01 FP4 with the iphone 5 s.
On his Iphone 5S we install Notes Traveler... Everything works on it, but after a few hours we not able to delete messages on the IPhone. When he clicks Delete on a message on his Iphone, it comes back saying it is "Unable to Move the message"
If I remove Traveler and reinstall it, he can delete the messages for a few minutes or even a few hours, but then it comes back and says it cannot move the messages when we try to delete the email on the Iphone 5S.   The Iphone had   7.1.1 OS... I updated it to latest Apple 7.1.2 OS on it.. Same problem.   We also have an AOL account on the Iphone ....that works fine...      All other Traveler users on Iphones 4S or 5S users are working Fine...
I had IBM look at it. They did some testing and the email deletions only appeared on the logs when   it synchronized to Traveler, but when the problem occurs... it never did show anything in the Notes logs, about the Delete request.   They are saying it is an Apple problem.
I even reset his IPhone 5 S to factory defaults and re-setup Notes Traveler and after a few minutes or a few hours... When he deletes a email he gets the Cannot move the messages again.   I opened a bug report with Apple by never heard back from them. All other functions of the email work..   He can send and receive emails... He just cannot delete after a few hours. I ran checks on he email database and everything comes up OK...

That's odd. You will probably have to contact Apple support on this one. I'm not sure if their is a problem with your account or a server glitch at their end but in either case, they will probably have to look into it for you. You can reach them here: http://www.apple.com/support/icloud/contact/.

Mail smartboxes: unable to move messages!

Althought Apple tutorial (Mail (Mountain Lion): Use Smart Mailboxes) seem to suggest it's possible:
Change messages in a Smart Mailbox
If you change a message in a Smart Mailbox, such as marking the message as read or unread, or moving or deleting the message, the change is reflected in the mailbox where the message is actually stored.
I'm unable to move a message to a real mailbox folder.
What it actually happens is that it appear to move a "link" to the message. Example:
1. From inside a smart mailbox (e.g. called "Today's messages") I drag the message (or use the menu option to move) on an actual folder "For Later"
2. what appears to happen is that the message desappear from the smart mailbox for some time, but after a while it's back there.
3. That is: the message is still in the Inbox. If I go to the folder "For Later" I see the message, if I go back to the smart mailbox, the msg is still there.
4. the strange thing is that if I go to the "For later" real folder (the one I tried to move the msg to) and I delete the msg. The msg is deleted from ALL folders: from the Inbox, from the Real folder "For Later" and from the smart mailbox "Today's Messages".
In case I try to flag, delete or archive the message from the smart folder, those changes are reflected on the original message (the msg is properly flagged or deleted or archived)
Any help is more that welcome

Hi there, sorry I dont have an answer, but i have the same problem - working in mail 3.6 on osx 10.5.7. I have done nothing like what you describle - just set the mail prefs up as per normal and i can send messages to trash, delete the trash and they go, but then when I close and reopen mail, there they are exactly as you describe - in grey but annoyingly there! Help would be really appreciated. Thanks.

Unable to move icons in dock & elements in applications

Hi all
From this morning i've this problem on my MBP (Unibody, end of 2008 with OS X 10.8.4):
I was unable to move objects in Adobe Ilustrator, when i select something i start to move it but when i release the button ( i've tried both with the trackpad and the mouse) the object remains attatched to the icon (as if i haven't released the button of the mouse) and i can't move it. It sblocks only when i click "esc" or go to mission control and then return to the app, in this moment it sblocks from the arrow of the mouse and returns to his original position.
Thinking about a problem of the app i've deleted it and tried to reinstall it but doing this thing i've seen that i've the same problem not only in illustrator but in the other apps too and in the desk (with the icons) too.
I think that is not an hardware problem 'cause all the button functions with the other thing and 'cause i've tried both the trackpad and the mouse.
The only new thing that my mac have different than yesterday are two apps: Mini Display connect and Air Connect, i don't know if this have caused the problem..

You can accomplish this easily by triple-clicking anywhere in the line. The whole line will highlight, and you can then copy it. The headings “Step 1” and so on are not part of the commands.
Note: If you have more than one user account, Step 2 must be taken as an administrator. Ordinarily that would be the user created automatically when you booted the system for the first time. The other steps should be taken as the user who has the problem, if different. Most personal Macs have only one user, and in that case this paragraph doesn’t apply.

Note: If you don’t have a login password, you’ll need to set one before taking this step. If that’s not possible, skip to the next step.

Remember, steps 1-5 are all copy-and-paste — no typing, except your password. Also remember to post the output.
You can then quit Terminal.

Unable to Import objects into ID

Hi All,
For your support I have completed the development work and I have moved to Quality from Development. But while trying to import the one scenario in to Quality System from Development in XI, I am getting the following Error:-
Internal error: Unable to transfer changes for object Service | Q14CLNT120 to change list "XI 3.0 Import" (9a590f30-7245-11dc-9266-00306ee97ef1) since object still in change list "XI 3.0 Import" (3ae5e660-701d-11dc-942e-00306ee97ef1)
I have somehow managed to import another scenario last week into Quality, although now I am unable to import. But while trying to activate the imported scenario into Quality System I am getting another Error as below:-
Unable to move object. Change lists were not part of the same import
I tried to activate the change list..but no woek.
Could anyone please advice?

Have you checked the GUID in SLD in both the systems?
SLD-->Software Components, to check the GUID.
You can do one thing, first of delete imported objects which are not getting activated from QA, also delete the SWCV from Integration Repository.
Note: Before deleting SWCV, make sure any other working objects are not there in the same SWCV.
Now, if SWCV & GUID in both systems are same then again:
1. Export the objects from Dev (.tpz file)
2. Imort the same .tpz file to QA system.
Now go to Repository of QA and
1. Tools --> Import Design Objects
2. Tools --> Transfer from system landscape Directory --> Update Application Components.
Select your components and press Finish button.
And finally try to Acitvate your objects.

Movie fully downloaded but unable to view. Un known error message appears

I fully downloaded a movie rental in HD, however, when I wanted to view it an unknown error message appeared saying that there was an error in the iTunes store, and to try again later, which I have done multiple times with the same result each time. I downloaded the movie in both HD and SD but the result was the same with either one. I cannot figure out what is wrong. Anyone else have this experience?
