Unable to open email set-up?
I am trying to set-up my email but every time I go onto 'set-up' and then click on 'email accounts' it is unresponsive so I cannot open 'email accounts'. Is there a solution or an alternate way to open it?
I recommend that you attempt to boot into Safe Mode:

It may take you multiple attempts to get the ESC key sequence (press/release/hold) correct, so be patient. When successfully into Safe Mode, see what happens.
If the behavior ceases, then think carefully...what happened just before this behavior started? A new app? An update? A Theme? Something else? Think carefully as the smallest change could be causal...and attempt to undo whatever that was.
But if the behavior continues in Safe Mode, then you may need to consider more drastic actions -- WIPE, OS Reload, BBSAK Wipe/Reload, and the "Bare Bones" OS Reload Process. To prepare, you should be sure that you have a full backup to your PC...please review the Backup link in my auto-sig on this post for instructions.

Go to Solution.I have spoken to US Cellular Customer Service. And he said that there is no issue. If I am not using their network, then the PIN might have been released by US Cellular.
Also I have updated the BB O/S software through Blackberry Desktop software. But once I finished updating the software, I got an message from US Cellular. So I assume my PIN is still with their network.
Have told my supplier to check with the seller in USA, and am also sending an email to US Cellular.
Hope I can eventually get the BB 9850 to work.

Currently have access to my company's email via an Enterprise Account established. While emails continue to show up on my BB9930, for some reason I am unable to "open" emails so I can read the content, reply/reply all or forward; either via tapping on them or using the menu option. Interestingly, I am able to "Delete" them, and also am able to "open" calendar meetings. I HAVE NO ISSUES in receiving emails; my BB9930 is syncing up correctly with my corporate email account. ALSO, I can recieve/read/reply to Instant and Text Messages. I have gone through all Options that are available in my phone, thinking I might have pressed a particular option that "turned off" somehow my reading/reply/forward capabilities on emails, but no luck. Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks for the detailed information about your issue! It sounds like your provisioning on the network end and on Blackberry's end is correct. We can determine this by the successful connection to the email server and the ability to receive calendar appointments. If there were a problem on the network provisioning end, you wouldn't be able to set it up at all. There is likely a server setting that needs to be altered, and a call to you IT department may be necessary.
If you want to set up your Enterprise email connection from scratch, you would need to wipe the handheld first. Instructions to Wipe 9930. If I were in your shoes, I'd give a call to your IT department first, and if they are unable to resolve it, try the wipe.

I'm running Mozilla-firefox on a Lenovo laptop. Last night the screen changed suddenly. brief alert about patch. unable to open email inbox to read/send emails. logged off thinking all would be right by morning. today, can access internet, google, etc, but unable to open email inbox. plus the listing of the various yahoo accts has changed the sequence order. please help. i depend on my email for my livelihood. i can read emails on my blackberry so the issue is not my internet provider.

I am unable to open emails on my Droid Charge. I get a message saying that emails won't open because of firewall settings. I have a yahoo email account using the default email client.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance...Did you download a firewall/security app on your phone? If yes check the settings or remove the application.

Cannot set up Email account I once had and lost. Will not accept password(s) have account through gmail, but cannot use.
It may be worth going directly to the gmail site: www.gmail.com can you login using what you believe to be your credentials? If not then it's likely to be an issue with the info you are using. Also if you haven't used the account for a while it may have gone in to a suspended state, and logging back in will reactivate it. If you do manage to login ok, then try setting up the account on iPad again.

E51 MFE Unable to open Email messages.
When press button to open the email nothing happens and when select options then open will not work either.
Have completed factory reset then same problem even tried another D51 handset same problem so fault is not particular handset.
Any Suggestions ?Better late than never solution. We found that by switching the memory used from phone to SD card or vice versa allowed the email and sms to be opened. Then if you switch the memory setting back it will still open the emails and sms as before. Hope this works out for you as it did for us.

I am unable to open emails in hotmail via Firefox but can in Internet Explorer
I can open my hotmail account but cannot open individual emails or delete or compose emails.
I can however do all this in Internet Explorer.
I have ensured I have latest Firefox release (9)Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.

Unable to open email sent to large distribution lists
Running: iPhone 4, 8GB iOS 7.04 (Note: This same issue was also observed on an iPhone 5S with iOS 7.1.2.)

When attempting to open an email sent to a large distribution list, the email application is extremely slow or crashes.
Opening and closing an email sent to a distribution list containing 2301 members is very slow. When opening an email with a distribution list of 6443 members, the email application hangs for awhile and then closes.I just noticed that with an email open, selecting "Hide" on the email headers allows the email and all subsequent emails to open as expected. However, attempting to view the additional email header information by selecting "[number of additional email contacts] more..." causes the email application to freeze.
