  • Unable to open certain email messages

    Hi,
I've configured my gmail account on nokia messaging on my 5800 XM. I get notified on new email and I've been able to get my emails as well.
But there is this weird problem with certain emails. When I click on the email, it retrieves the message switches to open that email, but immediately switches back to the list of emails. I've tried a lot of times, but this seems to happen consistently for some emails. Is there any reason why I'm unable to open certain emails?
(I don't really see anything special about these emails that don't open)
    Regards,
    Anand

  • I am unable to open any emails or any folders (aside from my inbox) in Hotmail when using Firefox. What do I do?

Starting about mid-day yesterday, when I sign into Hotmail using Firefox, I can get to my inbox but I can't open any emails or go to any other folders. This is only when using Firefox - Internet Explorer works perfectly fine. My Firefox updated itself a couple of days ago and was working fine until yesterday at about 4:30 - 5:00.

  • Unable to open hotmail and yahoo websites while firefox is working OK with all the rest of the sites

    hello,
I am unable to open the hotmail and yahoo sites in order to open my inbox with mozilla firefox. On the other hand when i enter address of any other site, it just easily opens without any difficulty.I asked my internet service provider and they told me that the problem is with your browser. Please help me to sort out this issue because in order to check my email accounts i am using internet explorer which is working without any difficulty.

As far as I can see the pw-files should be correct. I have three databases in the 8i-home: two are working perfectly, but the third doesn't.
I can not see any differences between these databases in configfiles etc (except offcourse for the name).
The sql*Plus worksheet also shows a strange behaviour for the particular database. When started up from OEM, i am NOT able to login with SYS as SYSDBA, but when I start it directly from the Start-menu (in the same OEM-home), it's no problem at all.
I also think that the pw-files play a role here, but i do not know anymore what to check. I even copied the file to the oem-home.
    Any idea?

  • Safari 2.0 unable to open hotmail

Hi, everyone! I seem to be having problem opening Hotmail, and Msn completely. I have a Mac OS X (10.4), and the model is PowerMac6,3. I'm using Safari 2.0. When I try to open hotmail, all I get is a blank window. I called Mac, and they determined it was MSN's page and not the computer or network. I spoke with MSN, but they were unable to help and said maybe it's the computer. Can anyone help? I would be sooo grateful!
    Thanks so much!
    -Becky

Could that mean that Hotmail might have changed something that is incompatible with OS 10.6.4?
Very well could be. You can try Hotmail support.
Try logging into another user account on your Mac. Launch Safari and try Hotmail there. If it works ok there, then at least the issue is just within your user account.
We see more and more issues with Hotmail.
I did a search in the Safari forum for Hotmail. Results are for this year. http://discussions.apple.com/search.jspa?threadID=&q=hotmail&objID=f876&dateRang e=thisyear&userID=&numResults=15&rankBy=10001

  • Unable to open gmail email attachments on iPad3

I recently bought the new iPad. I configured gmail on iPad, however I am unable to open email attachments. Despite clicking on the attachments, the grey dashes around the attachments dont change & subsequently the am unable to view the attachments.
I have already reset the iPad a few time which included erasing all content & restoring it completely
Need some help to figure this one out.

What you're experiencing is one major issue raised by iPad users.  Yes, you are far better using the Gmail App than the native Gmail on iPad.  Even with the native, if you switch to desktop view, you'll have the same issue.
My issue has been, in the native version, can't attach anything without issues.  Using the Gmail App, I'm able to attach, but only pictures.  It doesn't allow me to open other subfiles to attached pics in other files or PDF, Word,Excell, etc which I create using QuickOffice Pro.
I've tried this on various Android Tablets, and not a single issue with them. You can attach anything.  So, it's definately an Apple device thing.
I'll even go further. If using Facebook on an iPad 3, you can post, but cannot delete a post you make whether in desktop view, native FB on iPad or the FB App itself.  Yet, on my Droid Razr phone, I can by simply swyping sideways, a black X appears and I delete the post.
It's these quirks, that is leading me to consider selling my iPad 3, and just stick with my 13" MacBook Pro.

  • Unable to open sms, email and bb messenger messeges

I am having trouble with opening my sms, email and blackberry messenger messeges. I tried to download a blackberry messenger app from app world and then i could no longer open these messages. I can see that I have messeges but unable to open them. When I go into my blackberry messenger, it says that my contacts are nulled. i have tried to reboot my phone several times (both by shutting it off and removing the battery and by simply removing the battery with the phone on).
does anyone have any idea how to fix this problem??
    i greatly appreciate it!

Hi and Welcome to the Forums!
I suggest the following steps (in order):
    1) Register HRT
Homescreen > Options > Advanced Options > Host Routing Table > (it does not matter which line is current) > Register Now
    2) Resend Service Books
KB02830 Send the service books for the BlackBerry Internet Service
    3) Batt Pull Reboot
Anytime random strange behavior or sluggishness creeps in, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the back cover and pull out the battery. Wait about a minute then replace the battery and cover. Power up and wait patiently through the long reboot -- ~5 minutes. See if things have returned to good operation. Like all computing devices, BB's suffer from memory leaks and such...with a hard reboot being the best cure.
Hopefully that will get things going again for you!

  • Unable to open my email messages on Firefox? How do I fix this?

I am not able to read my emails while I am in Firefox. This has happened about 8 days ago. I don't recall how this happened because I was able to use FF very well & never had any problems. I have been using Internet Explorer because most of my work has to be done on IE, the problem is that IE crashes too many times and its become very slow, I am just sick of it. I decided to use FF to read my emails & to do my PCH sweepstakes and play some games and maybe I would not get the screen crashing effect that I'm getting on IE. However, in order to get to do this I must open my email messages to proceed with the sweepstakes, but for some reason when I click on my messages nothing happens, they don't open up. How can this be repaird? I have even gone as far as deleting FF and re-downloading it again, but the problem still persists. I need help please!
I made a copy of my email screen to place in the box below, but it is not allowing me to paste? I tried clicking on install but all I got was an error message that it could not open up this document because it needs to know the creator. I've tried to open with different programs but it just won't work. Can anyone please give me some assistance?

  • I am unable to open some emails from an exchange server.

Since I updated to iOS7 I have been unable to download most emails from a work exchange server. In most cases it appears to be downloading the message yet nothig appears after a lenghty wait.

A reset of the device is a good first step:
Hold the home button + the lock button for about 10-12 seconds until the Apple logo appears.  You will not lose any data or current settings.
If you have already done this and it didn't resolve the issue, try remove the email accound and then re-add it.

  • I am unable to open my emails using firefox, I get message page not found 404

I am having problems opening my emails, a page with 404 not found with the following message 'The requested URL /dc/launch was not found on this server.
    Apache/2.2.9 (Debian) PHP/5.2.6-1+lenny9 with Suhosin-Patch Server at uk.mg.bt.mail.yahoo.com Port 80'
I have found a way to access my emails by changing my running program eg internet explorer or google. But I don't understand why this has happened, it only affects my emails when I use firefox

The updater may not have been able to update all the files and some were left as older versions.<br />
You need to do a clean reinstall.
Download a fresh Firefox copy and save the file to the desktop.
    * Firefox 5.0.x: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all.html
    * Uninstall your current Firefox version.
    * Do not remove personal data when you uninstall the current version.
Remove the Firefox program folder before installing that newly downloaded copy of the Firefox installer.
    * It is important to delete the Firefox program folder to remove all the files and make sure that there are no problems with files that were leftover after uninstalling.
Your bookmarks and other profile data are stored elsewhere in the Firefox Profile Folder and won't be affected by a reinstall, but make sure that you do not select to remove personal data if you uninstall Firefox.

  • Why am I now unable to open my emails

Until about a week ago I was able to open my emails, but as of then I cannot do so. Would appreciate any input to rectify the situation.

Can you expound a little about what that means?
    Is the Preview pane missing?
If not, if you click on the email in the list, does anything show up in the preview pane?
Can you double-click an email and does it open in a separate window?
