I had a virus sometime ago, when I went in to open Photoshop 7 I noticed my Icon was missing from my desktop, I looked into the photoshop 7 and files are there but I do not see an exe file, and really not sure what files are missing looks to have most other files just no exe file. how can I get it back, I cannot find my install disk, I do have my serial #, is there anyway I can download the needed files?

I would concur with Rave that you may want to look at Photoshop Elements 11 for a low cost alternative which may give you the functionality you need. When trying to double click on a photo in iphoto, I get a black triangle w/ exclamation point inside. I can view the photo as a thumbnail, just can't open it. I downloanded and installed iphoto library manager and tried rebuilding library. After it was complete, I got the following error message...

When using iPLM to rebuild the library did you have the checkbox checked to Scavanged orphaned photos checked?
If the masters are not there then your only recourse is to restore a backup copy of the library made at a time before this problem occurred.

In other words, I have installed Photoshop CS6 64-bit (using the default directory) on Windows 7 SP1 64-bit.
My computer has 4 GB of RAM and a virtual memory file of 6644 MB.
When it starts, the two above messages are displayed also with an account of Administrator type?

Hi Steadyalberta,
Something might be preventing Photoshop from being able to save your selection on the dialog window properly. You might try right clicking and choose Run as Administrator on the Photoshop icon when launching (Windows) or test if the behavior persists when using a newly created admin user account.

That is correct. the G1 X will be supported in a 7.0 dot release. The camera is currently supported in Lightroom 4.

You should be able to select ACR 7.4 (see image) and then click the update button.

Unable to open Java Webstart jnlp files in Mavericks

Since upgrading to Mavericks I am unable to open Java webstart jnlp files in Safari.
When trying to open the specified URL with the jnlp file, nothing happens, the download simply will not start.
Tried different security settings in Safari & Java control panel
It affects all applications using webstart.

I had installed ADK to utilize the latest and greatest DISM tool. That broke WAIK and the boot.wim could not be found when updating the deployment shares. Thanks for the pointer...

I've noticed that it is necessary to create the user textuser as ctxsys. So i've done like you recommended but unfortunately the result is the same.....
I added an utl_file Path to my SPFILE. (utl_file_dir= /home/oracle/mydocs) as you can see below. (is it necessary to something else to the spfile which i haven't noticed at all???
After that i tried to set up all by using sqlplus for having the possibility to show the results.
Below you can see the statements, the connect-Changes (ctxsys/textuser)
and the echo .
Do you or somebody else have an idea what i can do additionally to get this working???

Opening Photoshop CS3 psd files in Photoshop CS2 (Mac Tiger 10.411)

Is it possible to open Photoshop CS3 psd files in Photoshop CS2? After I created them in Photoshop CS3 I reset the preferences to maximize compatibility "always", then I resaved all the psd files. Do you think this will work? I have to open them in CS2 tomorrow at work...

Also, some old features may have changed in the new version. Specifically, I had some CS3 files from a client that had smart objects that did not open correctly in CS2.
As I recall, CS2 was able to open a flattened version of the file, just not fully layered with smart objects.
I actually had CS3 on my laptop, just not on the tower I wanted to work on, so I opened the files on the laptop, rasterized the smart objects, and saved. After this, CS2 opened the files with layers.

This worked for me:
1 Go to the finder menu bar at the top of the screen
2Click go
3 click applications
4 go down to iTunes and right click on Show Package Contents
5 open contents folder then go to mac os folder
6 open the terminal marked iTunes in that folder
This should force it to open and function enough, it will not allow importing of music from a desk top

Unable to open USB port device file: Permission denied

I have an up-to-date system (full "pacman -Syu" yesterday), I am in a "lp" group and the printer (Canon Pixma MP270) started to give "Unable to open USB port device file: Permission denied" error, although in the past it worked and still works in Windows. Doesn't anybody have a similar problem?

CUPS worked, I could use CUPS-PDF and localhost:631 was accessible and working.
Today I managed to print again. I did "pacman -Rcsn cups" and reinstalled it again.
My printer is Canon Pixma MP270 and so far it wasn't the best choice for Arch Linux—scanning works fine but it's like throwing a coin when it comes to printing. I've written a simple PKGBUILD for installing its printing driver as a regular package, but I don't know what to set as a license.

Unable to open a specific xlsx file

I am unable to open a specific xlsx file on my iPhone 5 which has iOS 7.0.4 in quick look.
I able to open other .xlsx and this specific file can be opened as a .xls
Unfortunately, I am unable to post this file due to security issues.
Would anyone know if there is a reason why I cannot open this as a .xlsx?

So there are two .xlsm files that I am using.
Both of which have the same code.
It is just the name of the reports which are different.
The macro code is used to email this report to the user which is on an active worksheet.
Once this has been emailed, we are able to open the report generated by one .xlsm code that spits it out as .xlsx but not the other on the iPhone.
I am able to save the other report as a .xls and send it across and I can preview it in Quick Look.
Unfortunately, the users do not possess the Numbers app.
