Unable to order online...

I am trying to order online, but when I get to the very last page of the ordering process it asks for my name and birthdate...
When I put in my birthdate it just tells me that it is an invalid date...
I called the 1800 number but they just kept taking me to sales and telling me that they can't give me the online discounts there.  
Where is a support number for the website?!   Several of my neighbors re having the same problem when they try to order too...

2.     Clear your browser’s cache/cookies
3.     Restart your browser

    While I usually place online orders for ship to home, it can be rather convenient to pick up an order in-store if I’m out and about. I can imagine it’d be very nice to have your wife so close to your local store, so I’m sorry to hear the “friends and family” option wasn’t available for your latest purchase.  Some items, such as contract phones, are not eligible for “friends and family” pickup, so depending on what was purchased, this could explain why you were unable to select your wife as the designated pick-up person at the time of ordering it and why modifying your order at a later date wasn’t an available option. 
    While I realize this may have inconvenienced you, I hope you were able to make it out to the store to pick up your purchase. You can always pre-order your new iPhone online and then start the mail in rebate by following this link: http://bit.ly/GGnDDC Or you can always go into the store location and do it all in store on the 19th when the phone is launched. It seems a little frustrating not knowing what happened to my order and not being able to contact anyone. Is all this usual with Adobe or are they just having technical problems this week?

  • Unable to order prints anymore... weird iPhoto error

    Hey there,
    I'm unable to order prints from iPhoto anymore, it started before the 8.1.1 update. When I start to upload photos to the Kodak server, after 2Mo is transmitted it bugs. In the console I have the following mysterious error :

  • IPhoto unable to order book

    Have been unable to order a book from iPhoto for about 2 months now. At first I put it down to the coupon offer overloading the servers, but still no joy after the coupon ended.
    The book assembles ok, but on transferring the data it doesn't get past 0Kb. The error message in the console reads:

    I have checked for empty text boxes etc as suggested by some people. Am running 10.5.2 on a MacBook Pro 2.33GHz. iPhoto version 7.1.3 (364). Was definitely able to order books pre-Leopard.

    Welcome to the Apple Discussions. This Apple KB document just was released and may be of some help: http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1139.
    TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto (iPhoto.Library for iPhoto 5 and earlier) database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.
    I've created an Automator workflow application (requires Tiger or later), iPhoto dB File Backup, that will copy the selected Library6.iPhoto file from your iPhoto Library folder to the Pictures folder, replacing any previous version of it. It's compatible with iPhoto 6 and 7 libraries and Tiger and Leopard. iPhoto does not have to be closed to run the application, just idle. You can download it at Toad's Cellar. Be sure to read the Read Me pdf file.

  • Can I exchange a macbook ordered online from China for a macbook in the U.S?

    Hi so my brother lives in Shanghai and he ordered online for me the new macbook so it can be shipped to where I live in the U.S. I was thinking that after I receive the computer I could exchange it for the macbook pro in a U.S. apple store because I don't like how the new macbook is so thin and doesn't have any usb ports. Is it alright if I exchange a macbook ordered online in China for a macbook pro in a U.S. store? Because the macbook my brother ordered was $1299 but then he bought it through the education store so it turned out to be $1249. And since the macbook pro w/ retina display is also $1299, can I exchange the macbook for the pro? Or are macbooks ordered online from China different from American macbooks that I can't exchange it in a U.S. store? Thanks for reading/ or answering! 

    Because that is their policy, if it is less than 14 days old you can return it for a refund, but that will have to be done in Shanghai.

    There is a great probability if you order from Apple Spain online, and
    choose their product, it should be equipped for Spanish users there.

  • Unable to order prints through iphoto

    I am unable to order prints through iphoto. Everytime I try to download and order with 1-click it starts downloading and then says there is a problem with one of my files. Is my order too large (over 500 megabits)? Are certain files to large? Some of my files are in the RAW format or were taken in RAW format. I have tried leaving out photos that have the RAW title showing in iphoto and still no luck. Some of the files, even though noted as jpeg files are 4+megs. Does anyone have an idea on what is going on? I am using the latest iphoto which is 6.04.

    I have a similar issue lately. When trying to order 130 4x6 prints the upload process dies after 10-12 photos and there is nothing you can do about it. The retry function does not restart the upload, it just hangs.
    When using Activity Monitor to monitor the upload speed (I am on COMCAST cable) I see 45-50kB/s for the first 10 pics and then it dies - goes to 0 - unless you do something else on the computer that touches the network.
    No other app is having network or internet connectivity problems.
    Part of the problem might be the fact that the ever increasing file sizes are making the uploads slower and slower. Those 130 pics of mine are 230MB+ and thats just from a small 6MP point and shoot Canon camera.
    Iphoto realy needs a much more robust upload and reststart logic. Like iTunes that can download songs and video in pieces and restarts as often as you want wherever it left of, iPhoto needs a similar function to deal with larger uploads.
    Now the first attempt to fix the issue is to go break the order into 10 individual orders - only problem: Instead of paid 9.99 for express shipping you pay a total of 99.90 for shipping as every order has an individual shipping charge.
    Any ideas for a work around?

    I spent two hours from home trying to order a bundle, then 2 hours with a phone rep (after 30 minutes of negotiating the menu system) only to be told you really had to order online to get a deal, and now another 2 hours from a different network.  Total failure.  I've never had a harder time trying to buy anything. 
    The system goes into a do loop at the registration bridge, repeats the "getting account info, loading products, etc" progress bar several times, then 404's or reports a server error.  I once actually got to a complete order that simple said "error" each time I hit submit.
    Seems you have to be VERY persistent to do business with Verizon. 
    I was finally told to call the local office, and warned that the wait times I'd already experienced would be short compared to that one.
    Is it possible to order on line?  Comcast customers want to know...

    {please keep it relevant}  I am going to make a call to Dallas to see if any of the sales execs up there care about how this has been handled.  I did some consulting for Verizon up there about 5 years back and recall I was rather amazed at the bureaucracy and remoteness from the real world.
    A barebones description so far:
    1. 2 hours attempting to order on line being confronted by 505's, 404's and other internal server errors from your servers.
    2. 2 hours on the phone attempting to place an order with a rather nice lady who confirmed that most customers screamed obscenities at her due to these problems, and who finally said she could not honor or meet the online offers.  She then suggested calling the local office and warned me that the wait and menu hassles required to get through to her was nothing compared to what I could expect there, and that they might or might not honor the online...which, of course, you cannot get to work.
    3. This Forum, where the only honest and accurate comment on my attempts to spend money with Verizon was removed and no comment from the moderaters offered.
    Quite the business model, folks.  You may find the oncoming recession rather rude as many of us are going to cut back on being abused.

    PS - I am guessing this person will at least get this to somebody who cares: Mary Yarbrough, Vice President, Verizon National Sales - Business Sales & Billing Centers.  I suspect it will have to be dealt with by snail mail to have a chance of getting there.  Crikey, all this just to get SciFi in HD, :-).

  • Can't place Infinity order online

    I am trying to upgrade my broadband to Infinity - when I try (from various browsers and various computers) I get a message saying there is a technical problme, but I can still place my order online. The error code is CON-0049. 
    Unfortunately none of the options given in the links in the message are for a BT Infinity upgrade.
    Tried calling the 0800 number but am always on hold for up to 15 mins before I lose the will to live and disconnect the call.  Is there any way round this, or am I doomed to call centre hell?

    Some things to try first:
    1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
    2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.
    3. Change the channel on your wireless router (Auto or Channel 6 is best). Instructions at http://macintoshhowto.com/advanced/how-to-get-a-good-range-on-your-wireless-netw ork.html
    4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
    5.  Renew IP Address: (especially if you are droping internet connection)
        •    Launch Settings app
        •    Tap on Wi-Fi
        •    Tap on the blue arrow of the Wi-Fi network that you connect to from the list
        •    In the window that opens, tap on the Renew Lease button

    Note - When troubleshooting wifi connection problems, don't hold your iPad by hand. There have been a few reports that holding the iPad by hand, seems to attenuate the wifi signal.
