Unable to organize my bookmarks, also firefox doesnt show my bookmarks except for the recently bookmarked ones
Organize bookmarks is always disabled. Also my Bookmarks are being moved to a location which i cannot access or see using the options available on the pull down menu. All i'm able to see is the bookmarks stored in the "recently bookmarked". please let me know of a way to get my bookmarks back. also to how enable the "Organize bookmarks".
Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of your add-ons is causing your problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).

My bookmarks are no longer displaying in the bookmarks, or folders there. The only place they appear is in the 'recent bookmarks' folder. Then I have to manually put them where they should have appeared in the first place.
For some reason my bookmarks are now appearing where they should. I have done nothing to change this so it may have been a glitch somewhere. I am saving your last reply in case this happens again so that I can try it.

Windows XP SP3. This started with Firefox v.18.0. When any activity cancels the screensaver, all display returns as before, except Firefox. FF window will close using the corner "X", but no other toolbars are visible or functional. No new add-ons since the 18.0 update.
This is the closest to the problem I am seeing. When the pc wakes from sleep, some parts of the Firefox window appears black until I minimize/restore it, or close/restart it. Some parts of the window reappear if I mouse over it repeatedly. This is relatively new. I don't usually report minor problems like this unless they repeat.

It used to be a solid gray in some older versions of firefox (14 or earlier), so it has to be customizable.
For now it's showing a checkered grid consisting of cyan and white squares.
Already tried adding "background-color: #00000;" to userchrome.css. In Firefox Safe mode these changes are effective:
*all extensions are disabled

If I copy/paste a link from Recently Bookmarked into Unsorted Bookmarks and then delete the link from Recently Bookmarked the link is then also deleted from Unsorted Bookmarks. WTF!! I have tried numerous way to get a Favorite into Unsorted Bookmarks or one of my other folders to no avail. It always goes into Recently Bookmarked. What's the point of the Recently Bookmarked folder if I then can't organize my Favorites the way way I want them. At this point I hate Recently Bookmarked and want to permanently banish it or I'm just going back to Windows Explorer. At least Explorer's bookmarking system works. BTW, I run Windows 7 Home Premium.

When I create a bookmark, it is not showing up in the Recent bookmark folder.
The new bookmark does show up in the new folder I created.
But new bookmarks don't show up in the Recent bookmarked folder.A possible cause is a problem with the file places.sqlite that stores the bookmarks and the history.

When I click the star to bookmark a site it goes into the recently bookmarked area of the library. I then drag or cut or copy and past it into a folder I already have in the bookmark library, but it doesn't disappear from the recently bookmarked. If I delete it from the recent, it also gets deleted from the folder in the library.
What can I do to keep it in the folder but remove it from recently bookmarked?No, currently there is not a way to do this.

- You can only syncewith one iTunes library. It sounds like you change libraries such as changing the computer.

After installing the update, I've lost the "Recent Bookmarks" tab
After installing the latest Firefox 3.5.6 I no longer have a complete bookmarks menu like I did before. I frequently used "Recent Bookmarks" but now when I bookmark a site it disappears. What do I do to fix this?

The orange Firefox button you are talking about has been replaced with the new "hamburger" button. It looks like [[Image:new fx menu]] and it's on the same toolbar as your address bar (top right corner under the X button.
Turning on the Menu Bar from the View > Toolbars section will only enable the actual Menu bar and not the Firefox button. -
When I downloaded firefox, the firefox home page was all blank, except for the browser bar at the top of the page. Normally, the logo would be on the homepage, in the center. Also, the other designs along both sides of the page are missing! What is wrong? I've tried at least 8 times to reload firfox to see if maybe it didn't load properly, but the same blank homepage appears! Can you email me with an answer please!?!? Thanks! Sal Cannone.

A possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.

I have a workflow being deployed for the first time on a farm. When I create a project with an EPT connected to the workflow it runs and can enter the required field in a PDP. Then I Submit the workflow to go to the next stage and I get the "Unable
to open project, no valid Project Detail Page could be found for the project" error. After that the project is stuck on the same error. All of the 18 stages have PDP and Schedules assigned to them.
Any ideas on why the workflow cannot see the PDPs? Is there a farm permissions that I am missing? Thanks!Hi David,

Have you added or changed your credit card details on your iTunes account ? If you have then each time that you do so a small temporary store holding charge (the Rs 60) may be applied to check that the card details are correct and valid and that it's registered to exactly the same name and address as on your iTunes account - it should disappear off your account within a few days or so.
