Unable to pair plantronics backbeat go 2 to macbook pro. Any solution pls?

Unable to pair plantronics backbeat go 2 to macbook pro. Any solution pls? thanks!

HI!
I just synced my earbuds to my macbook pro.  Try:
1) Setting
2) Bluetooth Settings (Clicked "on" and "discoverable").  I also selected for the bluetooth setting to show Bluetooth in menu bar.
Under settings go to "Sound" and "output".  My earbuds are in there twice but one does not work and the other has a "stereo" option. That does work.
Now, iTunes automatically starts and I can hear my music on my earbuds.  I think itunes will override whatever you are trying to listen to.  The earbuds also worked with my online lectures for school.  So far the earbuds do not work for YouTube.
Hope it helps.... good luck!

Unable to pair plantronics backbeat go 2 to iPad nano

I have a back beat also and was having the same problem with my ipad. I found that if you hold down the call button and volume key it seems to reset the back beat to factory setting. Once you do that then hold down the call button by itself  until the blue red light flashes for pairing. It should then show show up in your Bluetooth devices. Hope this helps.

  • I am unable to double click on anything on my MacBook pro, any suggestions?

I am unable to double click on anything on my MacBook pro, any suggestions?

    1. Try slower double click speed.
System Preference > Universal Access > Mouse & Trackpad
        Click the "Trackpad options" button.
Set Double Click Speed at a slower speed.
    2. Take the MBP to the Apple store to have the battery and the trackpad checked.
    Best.

  • Unable to load Flash 9 on my Intel MacBook Pro

Unable to load Flash 9 on my Intel MacBook Pro but can on my
Intel iMac. I spoke with a Tech from the Mac Store service area and
was told that there in a thread on this issue but I can't find it.
The basic issue is that I am able to load Adobe Flash Player
9 on my Intel iMac but not on my Intel MacBook Pro and I'm unable
to determain why. I tryed uninstalling and reinstalling three times
    and found no difference.
If someone could help me I'd be thankful.
    Dave

I bought the $29 version of Snow Leopard (not the kosher way of doing things, i know.
If you read the license agreement, there's actually no difference between what's allowed with the $29 copy and the $169 boxed set. The only difference is that the boxed set also includes iLife and iWork. There is also, despite what some will have you believe, nothing in the license agreement that requires Leopard to be pre-installed except in the case of the $10 disk purchased as part of the Up-to-Date program (for folks who bought a machine shortly before SL was released). So, you're not being bitten by some technical requirement for Leopard to be present.
I get a flashing folder with a question mark. My disk drive makes some crazy noises as well, and it seems to start running fast, then slowing down. I think it may have caused a minor scratch on the disk as well.
Sounds like it's possible the drive could be failing, though that's impossible to say for sure remotely. One man's crazy noises are another man's normal state of operations. Do other DVDs work in your drive?
I'll also need to do an "Archive & Install" since there are tons of important files on this machine.
*DO NOT* attempt to install a system update on this machine unless you have good backups! If something goes wrong, you're screwed if you didn't have a backup. Hopefully, you have not reached that point already... I'm unclear on whether your machine is no longer able to boot, or if it's only having trouble when you try to boot from the SL disk.
If your machine is still functional, your first priority before doing *+anything else+* should be to make at least two backups. See my [Mac Backup Guide|http://www.reedcorner.net/thomas/guides/backups> for assistance with this.
If your machine can't boot anymore, let us know and we'll offer some troubleshooting tips. And don't try to do anything else with it until you've consulted with some expert, whether here or at an Apple Store or somewhere else.

  • I have iWork 09 with a family license. I am unable to install the software on my new Macbook Pro (the message is simply "Installation failed"). I wonder if I need to remove an old computer from the family license, and if so, how?

I have iWork 09 with a family license. I am unable to install the software on my new Macbook Pro (the message is simply "Installation failed"). I wonder if I need to remove an old computer from the family license, and if so, how?

Yes, gladly. I am trying to install on a 13" MacBook Pro with OS X 10.8.3. I insert the disk into the SuperDrive. The I work '09 window pops up with two icons: one Tim install and one that says "Read before you install iWork." I double-click on the "Install iWork '09" icon, and a window appears that says, "This package will run a program to determine if the software can be installed." I click "continue" and see "Welcome to the iWork '09 installer." I click on "Continue." The "read me" bullet on the left lights up, and I see "Read before you install. . . ." I click "Continue," then see the software license agreement. When I click on "Continue" again, I am asked to agree, and I do. The window then says, "Standard Install on 'Mackintosh HD" and indicates how much space the program will take.
I click "Install," enter my password, and the installation begins. It goes through a validating phase and begins "writing files." It indicates that installation will take about 30 minutes (although that number fluctuates). After about four minutes it goes to "cleaning up." Then after just a few seconds, the "Summary" bullet on the left lights up and this message appears: "There were errors with the installation. You may want to try installing again." There is a large yellow triangle with an exclamation point in it, and a bold "The installation failed." Below that appears "The installer encountered an error that caused the installation to fail. Contact the software manufacturer for assistance."
At that point, a "Close" button is pulsating blue at the bottom of the window.
Sorry for the tedious detail. Anything revealing there?
    Thanks!

  • I'm trying to pair my iPhone 4 with my MacBook Pro and it is saying my MacBook Pro is not supported. I just bought this thing and it's telling me that it isn't supported???

I'm trying to pair my iPhone 4 with my MacBook Pro and it is saying my MacBook Pro is not supported. I just bought this thing and it's telling me that it isn't supported???

    Do you mean Bluetooth?
If you are trying to activate your iPhone you need to use iTunes.
There's no need to "pair" an iPhone with a Mac. Syncing, restoring, backing up, apps/ music / photos etc., is all done with iTunes.

  • I am unable to insert a DVD/CD on my MacBook Pro

I Am unable to insert a DVD/CD into my MacBook Pro. How do I overcome this?

Are you certain that there is nothing inside such as a mini DVD?  Does the DVD drive appear dead?  You may have to have it examined at an Apple store genius bar.

  • HT1414 i am getting an error message saying unable to update as the firmware file is not compataible .Any solution to this problem

when i try to update iphone 4 i am getting message saying unable to update  the firmware file was not compataible .
    Any solution to this problem

If the problem is sending to just one address and it has worked in the past, I don't know if this will work. I posted this to another thread yesterday for someone who had the same problem you are having and it worked for them. You can take a look. This is thread that I found and the words below are the OP's suggested fix.
    https://discussions.apple.com/thread/3048200?start=0&tstart=0
On the iphone i went  Settings>Mail, contacts calanders>choose relevant account (if you have more than 1)> accountname>accountname> scroll down to 'Outgoing Mail server' and click on SMTP >click on your Primary Server >
My #Username and Password were showing 'Optional'.  Filled them in with the correct details (email account login) and that fixed problem.

  • How can i pair my iPhone 5s to my MacBook Pro on yosemite

i cannot pair my iPhone 5s to my Macbook pro. i recently upgraded to Yosemite, and was quite excited to use the new handsoff feature. To discover that the 2 devices would not pair. How exactly would handsoff work? A wifi connection, or bluetooth? i'm not the only one having this issue; it seems to be something we're all experiencing. it's a silly issue to have you ask me, or is there something I am doing wrong?

First, verify that the Mac is capable of using Handoff. Hold down the option key and select System Information... from the Apple menu. In the System Information window, select Bluetooth from the list on the left. Near the top of the summary of "Hardware, Features, and Settings," you should see this line:
              Handoff Supported: Yes
Follow the instructions in this support article. All the devices using Handoff must be connected to the same Wi-Fi network. If the Mac also has an Ethernet connection, disconnect the Ethernet cable.
If Handoff still doesn't work, on the mobile device, turn Handoff off and back on as directed in the linked article. On the Mac, turn Bluetooth off and back on. You might have to restart a mobile device to get it working.

  • Can't pair Apple Tv 3rd gen to MacBook Pro

I just purchased an Apple TV and it won't pair with my MacBook Pro.
I use OSX 10.9 for the MBP and version 6.0.1 for the Apple TV so I believe all is up to date.
The problem is that my computer recognizes the signal from Apple TV but Apple TV keeps searching and the BlueTooth keyboard doesn't appear so I can't type the code to pair Apple TV with MBP.

    No, they simply did not.
Bluetooth on the ATV is for pairing a Bluetooth keyboard.  The Mac is not a Bluetooth keyboard, although it may use one.
Bluetooth can also be used by an iOS device to enable setting up the ATV on a Wi-Fi network, making the process a little simpler, this requires 6.0 or later on the ATV and iOS7 or later on the iOS device.
ATV's do not pair with computers.  They can share the iTunes library on a PC or MAC when the computer is powered on, iTunes is running, and HomeSharing is turned on.

  • "Pairing Unsuccessful" iPhone 6 (ios 8)+ MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Late 2013, OSX Yosemite)

I have been trying to use the new handoff feature, and been trying to connect and pair my mac with my new phone. However, even though the correct pin number comes up when pairing, my phone says that my mac "Isn't Supported". After a little research, I learned that my mac should indeed be supported. Please help!

    Hi 17apuetz,
If you are having issues using Handoff or Continuity between your iPhone and your MacBook Pro, you may find the steps outlined in the following article helpful (you shouldn't need to manually pair your devices):

HI, I seem to be having issues using AirPlay From multiple iOS devices.
I have the following devices, iphone 6 plus, iPad air (both Gen 1 and 2) an iPad 2 and a MacBook Pro running Yosemit. I also have 2 Apple TVs (both gen 1 and 2).
Recently I have found that I am unable to use AirPlay on any of the iOS devices to either Apple TVs, the MacBook Pro will Airplay mirror ok, I am however able to use iTunes shairing from a Windows 8PC. I have restarted and also reset both Apple TVs and my router, I have also reset the connection settings on all the iOS devices but still can't resolve the issue.
The Apple TVs have Internet connection so I can't see any issues network connections.
ANyone else got got any Ideas?
    Thanks

Try the following steps, check whether things are working after each step where appropriate, before trying the next.
Check AirPlay is turned on on the Apple TV (turn it off and on if it already is)
Check that both devices are on the same network (Settings > Wifi, on the mobile device and Settings > General > Network, on the Apple TV).
Restart the Apple TV (Settings > General > Restart).
Restart the Apple TV by removing ALL the cables for 30 seconds.
Restart your router. (Also try removing it’s power cord for at least 30 seconds)
    Restart your mobile device.

  • Bluetooth/Pairing disconnects wifi/internet. Year 2012 - 2015, any solution?

    Hello everyone.
Thanks for reading. If anyone could provide any help would be much appreciated.
Since upgrading to Yosemite OS X, I can't pair any bluetooth devices to my retina macbook pro 2012. I have a mighty mouse and a wire apple keyboard.
Since then, I have not used them. They will connect fine and are able to function fine, but the internet disconnects.
Once I turn off bluetooth, the internet works perfectly. Problem is, I would like to use my mighty mouse and wireless keyboard for work, even a wireless speaker for music.
So, I haven't been able to use my mighty mouse for years. It's 2015 now, and still don't see a solution from all the OS X updates.
If Apple's Customer service or technical support department see's this, please kindly report it to headquarter and make it a priority fix as soon as possible.
    It's been 3 years.
    Thank you for your time.
    Yours sincerely,
    Terry

    Hide Details
Some of you have noticed your threads get marked as 'assumed answered' even though there might not be a solution/answer provided. Keep reading if you want to know why.
Me and my colleagues in the Sony Xperia support team get a list several times a day. This list is called "Email Alert for Unanswered Discussion Questions".
As the name might hint, it contains a list with threads that are unanswered.
All threads that are marked as a question when created ends up in this list if not already answered within 10 hours.
In order for us to get a good overview of the Support Forum we click on 'Assumed Answered' as soon as we have posted a comment, even if it's not really answered. The creator of the thread can then either keep it that way, confirm or deny it.
Either way, we automatically subscribe to all threads we post in, meaning we will get a notification for each new post in every single thread we attend so no post should be missed.
We can also choose to subscribe manually to a thread after marking it as assumed answered (we do this if good answers have been provided by other users already).
