Unable to play videos on Microsoft website

I have a Macbook Pro with OS X 10.6.8.
Neither Safari nor Fox will allow the playing of videos even after installing, uninstalling and reinstalling flash.
I am trying to play videos at the following site:

I recently purchased an iPhone 4S however I am not able to play videos directly from websites like metacafe.com and all others. Whereas few of my friends who bought iPhone 4S / 5 (factory unlocked) versions can very well play videos from all websites. Whenever they browse videos, it start streaming on their phones and stArt playing in QuickTime player. What is the reason of this behavior, is there something missing in my iPhone?

When I play video clips from websites like Prescreen the sound is loud enough to hear w/out headphones. When I play my own professionally mastered video I have to wear head phones to hear loud enough. Is there a trick in Compressor or other software?

Not even close to good enough, LCD screen will crack, water will go in through the jack/charger ports..
The phone i describe has no external ports just 4-5 little pins which can't let water in or out of the device, the docking station will connect via these 4 - 5 pins for data transfer and recharging...., IPX8 standard, all the electronics are epxoyed with a glue to stop real bad shocks from drops and bangs, along with a silicon case and all the other preventative meausres means this little phone is going to outlive you.
in combination with heart rate external bluetooth connection, really what more could you want... only the Sonim comes close in terms of perfection but if it managed to pack all of above, then it would be simply wow... You can't play movies in iPhoto. But, you can in quicktime, which is installed along with the OS. Just double click on the .mov file and quicktme should start.

Usually, that's due to a DivX plug-in or Safari extension... start with Safari - Preferences - Extensions & switch them off. If nothing there, see Safari - Help - Installed Plug-ins & note any that are for DivX.

Playing videos in apple website.

I can't open videos from apple website, it asks me to download quick time which is built in my macbook, then it asks me to update software, when i tried to do so, i got a message that everything is up to date?

UPDATE - we went to the nearest Apple Store today, and played with 6 different MacBook Airs, and found this problem on FOUR of them. They couldn't play the videos on the Apple website. This stumped the sales staff until one of them went into Safari's File menu, selected "Reset Safari", then re-booted ... and it worked!
Came home, did the same thing ... it worked.
So now my question is: why does "Reset Safari" clear this up?

Safari Not Playing Videos On Some Websites?

On many websites like CollegeHumor for example Safari isn't playing the videos, it will play videos fine on Youtube though. I don't have Adblock enabled, I have Java & Javascript enabled. Using the latest version of Safari, everything up to date.

Nokia N8 unable to play videos.

I've recently been having problems playing any type of video on my N8, including videos recorded from the phone's camera. Basically all it plays is the sound from the video and displays a black screen with the video title and a small picture of broken film.
I got the phone just before the new year and everything was fine for the first couple of months until this problem showed up. It would play all video's I stuck on there and play recorded video just like it should but I recently had a problem updating some firmware which would keep failing to install. My firmware update history shows an update called 'Videos' that failed but there's no option to redownload the patch. Is this the problem behind me not being able to play videos and is there anything I can do about it?
I've also reinstalled the phones firmware from the Ovi suite but nothing appears to have changed. Also, while my phone was hooked up to the Ovi suite, I synced my contacts to try and update a few numbers in Windows contacts, but my phone now has 2-4 duplicates of each number and the phone will display only the number (not the contact name) of some contacts when they ring me.
Any help would be greatly appreciated as im starting to lose my rag with this bloody phone.

The only thing I could think of would be a hard reset. But this will remove many things from your device.
Back up all your files before you attempt it.
