Unable to preorder games for in-store pick up

I am trying to order WWE 2K15 and Little Big Planet 3 for PS4 for in-store pick up. However, whichever store I try to pick up from will not let the order go through. Just wondering if it is a computer glitch or something.

Enuf is correct on all counts here: if you're encountering difficulties checking out, then make sure to clear your browser history and temporary internet files. You may also want to try closing + relaunching your browser, using another browser, or accessing the site from another device. Just keep in mind that store pickup is automatically disabled at individual locations once all available inventory has been allocated.

    I already ordered my iPhone 5. The estimated delivery date is between the 30th and November 5th. I sold my 4S in order to get the 5 so now I'm stuck using my old crappy droid and would really like to get an iPhone as soon as I can.
    I spoke to an employee at the Apple Store and he suggested that I cancel my order online and take my chances getting it for in store pick up.
    My question is, is it almost a certainty that I will find iPhone available some night at 10 available at my local store for in store pick up sooner than I would receive it in the mail?

    In the US, on-line ordering will begin at 0001 on September 20
    via Apple website. I have not seen anything for other countries.

  • Order phone on BB RZ mobile site for in-store pick up and receive $50 Phone Freedom GC???

    The BB RZ Mobile site is offering 5000 RZ points (4500 bonus points, plus 500 everyday points) for a purchasing and activating any smartphone. My question is if I order through the RZ mobile site and choose in-store pick up will I still get the $50 GC from the Phone Freedom promotion I registered for earlier in the year?

    I am sure you will those are two seperate promotions. I got my bouns points and phone freedom GC card, I then used the GC towards the purchase of the phone.

  • Order online for in-store pick up today? I don't think so.

    I placed an order online with BestBuy.com today and, after checking the inventory of my closest Best Buy store, selected "in store pick up today" to fulfill my order and receive my items. Shortly thereafter, I received my order confirmation indicating that I should wait until I received an order fulfillment email - "We will send another e-mail notifying you when your order is ready for pickup. This notification will arrive in less than 45 minutes, as it takes us just a little time to get items ready for pickup in our stores."
    Now, maybe I am a complete fool for thinking that when I am told I would receive my order fulfillment notification in 45 minutes or less that I should actually receive that email...but after NOT receiving said email, I opted to go to the store 2 hours after receiving my confirmation email. Naturally, there is a COMPLETE disconnect between the in-store system and online and the poor in store folks had to hear my frustration with the order not being completed as indicated. When I returned home, I called Best Buy customer service to better understand why "Pick up in store today" does not actually mean today and that receiving an email saying it would be fulfilled in 45 minutes or less does not actually mean that would happen. After being spoken to like a complete child on the phone, I asked to speak to a supervisor and was told that I was in fact speaking to the supervisor. Imagine my surprise! This person had no explanation for any timeline as to when my order would be fulfilled and was belittling in her tone and verbage.
    This is the second time I have made the mistake of purchasing from Best Buy. And I will never make this mistake again. They should think about a re-branding as "really good deals but utter incompetency in customer service." When you indicate to a customer that their order will be fulfilled "today" and in 45 minutes no less, then you should actually see to completing that order.

    Placing an order online for store pickup should be a quick an easy process, so it's disheartening to learn of situations where that expectation may not have been met. I'd be disappointed too if an order I placed wasn't ready for pickup immediately, especially if in-store associates weren't able to shed any light on the situation.
    In most cases, orders placed on BestBuy.com can be fulfilled in a few short hours. From time to time, however, individual orders may be held for review by our support team if additional payment authorization proves necessary. When this occurs, it may result in a 1-2 business day delay before an affected order can be fulfilled. Additional processing time may also be required for select product categories, such as items requiring service activation (ex: mobile phones), special order items, major appliances and large-screen TVs.
    That being said, I was able to locate your account using the e-mail address you used to register for the forum and it appears you were able to pick up your order last night. If you require assistance with any other issues though, don't hesitate to let us know.

  • Change pre-order from SHIPPING to IN-STORE PICK-UP

    Hello,
    This past Sunday, 11/9/14, I placed a pre-order for Super Smash Bros. Wii U to be shipped to my home, but I would now like to pick the game up at a local Best Buy instead -- specifically, the Cambridge, MA location (Store #537).
    I spent 30+ minutes on the phone with three reps earlier today trying to do this and none of them were of any help, but I've found previous posts on the support forum wherein users had the same request granted (for example: http://forums.bestbuy.com/t5/Gaming-Support/Would-like-to-switch-preorder-games-from-shipping-to-in-...). Since the order has not been prepared yet (the game isn't out for another week or so), I'm hoping that this is still a possibility.

  • In store pick up and stacking sale with coupon

    I want to take advantage of the buy one get one 40% off of ps4 pre owned games as well as use my B2G1 free coupon on preowned games. would this be possible in store? Also, if games are listed as "unavailable" for in-store pick up, does that mean that they are out of stock at that store?

    If I remember correctly the B2G1 cupon in the fine print says "no combinable with any other offer," or something along those lines.

  • In-store Pick-up items not ready???

    Hi I ordered six 3DS games on July 16, 2014 for in-store pick up. One Bravely Default, One Legend of Zelda A Link Between Worlds, Two Pokemon X, and Two Pokemon Y. The estimated time for in-store pick up was July 22, 2014 and now it is July 24, 2014 with only Bravely Default being ready and the rest still under "order in process of being fulfilled". I noticed the current sale for these games being a buy one get one and really think that the stock for the games had not been quickly put aside for my pick-up even though I had ordered the Wednesday of last week. I am surprised to see many others get their games ready for in-store pick up or even shipped when they ordered later than me. Any solutions and help? Thanks!

    Buy One, Get One offers are a great way to pick up new games, and it sounds like you've got a few great play sessions planned! I'd be anxious too if I found myself in a similar situation, especially if updates didn't appear to be readily available.
    I've had the chance to look into this situation and it looks like while our fulfillment center has acknowledged your order, your copies of The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds and Pokémon X & Y have yet to be shipped.   • Want to Switch from In Store Pick up to Delivery

    I already "preordered" an iphone 3G S for in store pick up earlier this week. Now of course, they are offering delivery to my door, and a guaranteed iphone in my pocket by June 19. Would there be an issue or weird overlap if I just pleasantly ignore the in store pickup request and go ahead with ordering the phone online for delivery?
    Note, I'll be a new ATT customer, switching from another provider.

    You should have received a confirmation email from Apple which includes an order number and an 800 number to call Apple. Call the number and ask if you can have the order switched to delivery. Your answer will be one of two things. Yes, let's do it or No, but we can cancel this order and then you can place a new one for home delivery.

  • Destiny PS4 bundle Unavailable for in store pickup...

    I've decided to purchase that awesome glacier white PS4 coming out in September, but it seems that it's unavailable at my local store for in-store pickup. Is this a supply issue? I'd love to get it release day (like everyone else) so is it possible that more PS4's could be allocated to my store in the next week or two?     There isn't much else we can add beyond what jac522 has already mentioned -- quantities of the Glacier White PS4 bundle are limited, just like the Ghost and Limited editions. The best advice we can give would be to keep an eye on BestBuy.com for updates.

  • Picking up Preorder Game and bundle deals

    Everytime I go to pick up a preorder game , most of the time I plan on getting something that would be a bundle deal, but according to the reps they cannot ring up anything with a preorder pickup. Is this true or is your staff poorly trained. I had this occur multiple time over the last year. I been able to still get my deals with little hassle but its quite annoying.
    Like with the South Park Stick of Truth, I was going to pick up the game, the guide and the tv season, but instead only got the game and guide because of the hassle. They rang up the game and guide seperately and i felt more as a hassle than what its worth. Don't get me wrong, The employees didnt give me any problem with the guide and actually did 20% manually instead of 15% off, since he had to do a seperate transaction.
    It just the whole process makes it seem like I am burden more than it is convienent. This system issue really needs to be work on.
    I had no plans to pick up titanfall but am thinking about preordering and the only reason why is the 15% off any accessory. I really looking to buy $150 mic for x1 and with the combination of $10 back and 15% off accessary it would be that bad of deal then also with GC discount on the game, but I dont want to hold up the line again for another hour while they get it to go in the morning.

    Thank you for pre-ordering from Best Buy!  I will be happy to answer your question for you today.
    If you pre-ordered your games in-store and wish to add items to the transaction at the time of sale when the game is released, the store should be able to assist you with this.  Bundles can be used when purchasing the pre-ordered game.
    If you pre-ordered online for in-store pickup, however, the store would not be able to add anything to the order when you come in to fulfill it.  In that case you would most likely need to cancel the pre-order and simply purchase the game and other items.  You would want to be sure that the benefit of the bundle outweighs any potential pre-order incentives you may forfeit by cancelling the pre-order before you go that route though.

  • How long does it take for a store to process an online order for store pick up

    Hello,
    I placed an order for a Macbook Pro on November 11, 2014. Scheduled an in store pick up where Best Buy estimated pick up date is November 14. I didn't receive the email or text to pick up the item, so I decided to call 1-800-best-buy to see if I can get the new estimated pick up date. I was told by the representative the laptop is actually already at the store, and waiting for me to pick it up. I called the store to make sure, and was told that I can pick it tomorrow morning. I called in today was placed on hold for around 15 minutes. Decided to call 1-800-best-buy again, and found out that it will take another 3-5 days before I get my laptop. I asked the representative to change the pick to another store that has the laptop available right now. It was change since around 10 am in the morning. I called the store to make sure that they got my order, the Manager told me that once the truck deliver more laptop. I will be able to get mine, and I should call in the afternoon to check on the availablity. I called around 5 pm to check, and was told that even if there is a laptop. I would still need to wait until best buy process my order. Called 1-800-best-buy again, and was told that Apple usually take 3-4 for hours to verify the information. Right now, my order status is still "Preparing Order".
    My Questions: How long will it take for Best Buy to finish Preparing Order?
    Why does it show on the website that if I order by 8 PM I wil be able to pick up the laptop today. Meanwhile, the store pick up was transfered since 10 am this morning, and at 10 PM tonight still nothing.
    If I cancel my order, will I get all of my reward zone certificates back?
