Unable to Preview Page in Browser on First Try

Hello, when I go to File > Preview Page in Browser (Ctrl + Shift + E) it shows the error message above. But when I try again it works. Sometimes it takes 2-3 tries but eventually it works. Why does it not work the first try? Thanks.

Hi guys,
First off, looking forward to seeing what's unveiled at Create Now Live on December, 11th!
Anyway, here's the Muse bug that just cropped up yesterday as I was working on a niche one-pager site: when I tried "Preview Page in Browser," nothing happened.
Usually when I'm working in Muse, I already have Firefox open on my screen, and when I hit "Preview Page in Browser," it'll open a new tab with the preview. This time, nada, no new tab, no preview.
Have no idea if my system settings or anything else has changed since the last time I designed a mini-site in Muse, a few weeks ago, when "Preview in Browser" was working fine. I'm on an (aging) PC laptop, running Windows XP.
Any ideas what's going on? Thanks again!

Hello,
Could you please check if the issue is specific to one website on your computer.
You can try creating a new test website and check if you are able to preview it in a browser or not.
If it does not work, please try deleting the AdobeMuse folder from the location :
Windows 7: C:\Users\your_user_name\AppData\Roaming\
Windows XP: C:\Documents and Settings\your_user_name\Application Data
Mac: /Users/your_user_name/Library/Preferences/
After that please relaunch Adobe Muse and check if you get the preview in Browser feature to work or not.

Adobe Muse: "Preview page in browser" and "preview site in browser" functions have stopped working.

Working one day then not the next. Firefox just spins. The preview button works, as does the publish function.

Something else to add: When Firefox finally timed out it displayed the full url. Copying and pasting that into Safari and everything works. So it seems in someway this is a Firefox issue or a Muse -Firefox connection issue.
So the new question is: how can I change the browser Muse chooses to use when I select these two functions?

Adobe Muse will use OS default browser for preview the page/site in browser. So you can change the default browser and preview the site again.
Also, try to troubleshoot Firefox, using their official documentation

Unable to preview in external browser

Hi,
When I select preview in external browser I get save dialogue box in browser instead of rendering of page. This happens for every browser and every html file I've tried.
This DW feature works fine on my other 3 machines, (just not the one I wish to do all my work on).
Any ideas much appreciated.

Let me see if I understand what you are saying:
You have a page open and you press F12 to preview it. You are immediately prompted to save the page? Is that correct?
Is the page marked as 'dirty' when you press F12 (i.e., does it have an asterisk after its name in the tab)? Do you see the same thing if you just open a saved page and F12? Or is this only happening with pages that have been changed but not saved? If so, then you have to understand that DW cannot preview an unsaved page UNLESS you have enabled PREFERENCES > Preview in browser > Preview using temporary file.

Preview Page in Browser

When I preview pages in Chrome, text, including on menus, is not appearing. With the menus if I mouse over them then the text appears. Any solution to this?

Hey Brad, thanks for getting back to me and apologies for the delay in me getting back to you. The issue is occuring when I "Preview Site in Browser" and it happens in Chrome, the primary browser I use. Only happens sometimes. I tried it in IE and there were other issues, though I attribute this to me running IE8 which is rather outdated. Unfortunately I have am only in development and have not published the site which therefore leaves no way for me to send you a link.

Why do I get the error message "unable to load page (HTTP 502) when I try to open Mobile Web?

I have an LG Octane 3 basic phone.   Does everything I need, phone and text, and I never was interested in web or e-mail capabilities until I recently upgraded our plan to the "More Everything" and was able to use data and check e-mail and access the internet.   Whenever I try to open Mobile Web, I get the error message "unable to load page (HTTP 502)".    As of March 31, 2015, all of us basic phone users lose the "Mobile Email" app on our phones, and will have to access web versions of our e-mail via the web. Which is currently unavailable and doesn't work.
Over a week ago, did a chat session with a tech support rep, and she indicated that either she or an engineer would contact me with how to fix the problem.   Have not heard anything from anybody, and the deadline is approaching quickly.   Have no need of all the excess features of a smart phone, nor do I wish to be forced to jettison a perfectly working phone for my needs and buy something I don't want to be able to do 2 simple things.............check e-mail to see if there's something that needs to be answered right away, and to check traffic reports when I'm on the road, or find something in an area with which I'm not familiar.     Not really too much to ask, you would think....   )
Has anyone else had this same problem, and if so, how do we fix it....??? My next move is a phone call, but those haven't always been very productive.
If any of you have any ideas why this error keeps coming up and the web can't load, and some on how to fix it, I would really appreciate some advice.

Since the chat session got no reply, I contacted Verizon by phone and a very nice level 2 tech created a trouble ticket and sent it up the food chain. Got a call back, maybe 2 days later, and had a nice, although very long session with a higher level tech. They had determined that the browser for the LG Octane is an old one and no longer supported by Verizon.    We tried everything we could to download the Opera browser, but since I was totally unable to get Mobile Web to work, couldn't do it.   The only other possible "fix" was to totally reset the phone to factory specs and try it again.   That would mean a lot of work on my part to move anything I didn't want to disappear off the phone, and find a place to forward texts that had to be saved.   Caught our tenants lying about why the rent was late (again), and need that for when I put them back on a lease....
Long story short is that unless we try this total reset, which isn't a sure fix, either, anyone who isn't able to access the Mobile Web with the LG Octane will have to change their plan to avoid paying for data that you can't access using any method.
I ran a test with an app that I knew was no longer valid.....that was sending photos to PixPlace.   Got the exact same error message as when trying to access Mobile Web to get the web version of my e-mail.   That just verified that the 502 error is, at least in the LG Octane, for an app that no longer works.   After today, we'll get the same thing when we try to access Mobile E-Mail.
Have to admit, it's a real ****-off, but this shouldn't surprise me, since Verizon won't repair older copper phone lines if you are in an area where FIOS is offered.
I am going to immediately change my husband's and my cell phone plan to one without data, and see what I can find that will still give unlimited calls and text. The way my luck runs, they won't offer one for a decent price. The other half has some very long-winded friends and he was always running over minutes, and some months are very text-heavy and I'd go over my limit.   Absolutely HATE touch screens, and am not looking forward to having to get a new phone.

Unable to refresh page when insert the first row in viewobject

I am using JDeveloper 10g to develop a JSP page, DataAction, AppModule and ViewObject. But when I am trying to use the following code to insert the first row, the page is not getting refresh. The quite weird thing is when I insert the second row, it returns me the first row as well as the second row. And it works well when I am trying to insert the third row, forth row....

Can not preview HTML pages in browser

I am unable to preview my HTML pages in a browser eg. safari. firefox etc... before uploading them to my server. I have tried going into preferences and clicking on the preview in browser section and adding a new primary and secondary browser but it will not work. I was able to preview my pages in browser mode fine up until a few days ago when it suddenly stopped working. I am using Mac OS X version 10.5.8, Prosessor 4x2.5 GHz PowerPC G5. Memory 4.5 GB DDR2 SDRAM. I have Dreamweaver CS3. My test server is set to none.

When I try to preview HTML pages in browser it comes up with a message saying 'Would you like to define a primary browser now?' but when i try this it does not work, it will not recognise the browsers when i add them to the list.

How do I access the iTunes Preview page with a web browser?

Does anyone out there know how to access the iTunes app preview page with a web browser? So far the only way I've been able to get there is by Googling the app with the term 'iTunes preview'. Is that really the only way? The iTunes page itself has no obvious link to the app list.

Thanks, but I should have been more specific. I was trying to access the iTunes app preview page on my PC through Chrome. While I have an iPad, it's not convenient to have to refer to it every time I want to discuss an iOS app.

When I type a link to a page in my root directory in code view and I click on the link in live view it does not go to that page. But if I preview in a browser it works fine.

I am not sure however I suspect live view is for viewing the page you are working on. You would have to open the other page to see it in live view. The browser on the other hand is doing what it is designed to do. I jump back and forth all the time from live view to the browsers I have installed.

Previewing Gallery in Browser

I am unable to preview my gallery in browser on Lightroom. I got an empty page (about:blank)
I am running a free trial of Lightroom 3 on a Mac. I plan to purchase the upgraded version of Lightroom in the near future, but wanted to test things out first.
Any thoughts or suggestions of what is going on?

Is this a typo: Lightroom 3? You should be using the Lightroom 5 free trial. The standalone versions are here:

Unable to print from the browser, for example: in my amazon account, i am unable to print shipping lable by hitting "print" button. It worked in IE, but not now.

I used to be able to print from the browser, specifically Amazon...hit print and I would get the print/preview from windows. In IE it worked perfectly, but IE start messing up and grinding to halt, taking MINUTES to load a page, like dial-up!
Firefox is fast and runs great....just cant PRINT..grr.
also... noticed that i am unable to read my online paper now. Paper will open, i can read the full page view, but when I try to hit a particular article to enlarge in another popup window, nothing happens. perhaps a security something preventing popups? but there is no option to do otherwise.
again, was able to read articles in IE.
Am I missing an add-on?

I too developed the same problem about 2 weeks ago. First in Safari then Firefox. I have 2 printers, one local and one networked (different brands etc). Neither browser will print ANYTHING from the web to either printer. Jobs are not stuck in queu - goes to printer but just spits out blank paper. Not even email. No pop-ups involved (like the usps site). Not website specific. All other applications on the machine print perfectly to both printers.

On the Comcast email site, on the "Inbox Preview" page, if I click on "View Entire Inbox" or on a particular message, Firefox will just return me to the Inbox P

On the Comcast mail site, I cannot get past the "Inbox Preview" page. If I hit anything, including "View Entire Inbox" or on a particular message, or anything else, I'll just be returned to the "Inbox Preview" page. This only happens on Firefox. When it started happening, I finally gave up and tried Internet Explorer, which works fine. I'd prefer to access email on Firefox, so please tell me how to correct this.
I don't know if this is related, but immediately before this started happening, I may have hit something on my laptop, which caused the Comcast email screen to magnify to the point where I could not view the message window on messages. I couldn't figure out how reverse this, so I did the above (went to IE, which was fine). When I next attempted to access Comcast email from Firefoxe, the site was no longer magnified, but I had the above problem with being unable to get past the Inbox Preview page.

Many site issues can be caused by corrupt cookies or cache. In order to try to fix these problems, the first step is to clear both cookies and the cache.
Note: ''This will temporarily log you out of all sites you're logged in to.''
To clear cache and cookies do the following:
#Go to Firefox > History > Clear recent history or (if no Firefox button is shown) go to Tools > Clear recent history.
#Under "Time range to clear", select "Everything".
#Now, click the arrow next to Details to toggle the Details list active.
#From the details list, check ''Cache'' and ''Cookies'' and uncheck everything else.
#Now click the ''Clear now'' button.
