Unable to print Google maps

Hi,
Until a few days ago, I could print out a Google map with the print command in Safari (2.0.4.), move the map to zoom in on a particular intersection and print that page as well. It all worked fine. Computer Is Power Mac G4, HP 4000 laser printer.
Today, I no longer can print a google map using the print command in Safari (2.0.4) or "print" in preview. Text directions print out, but no map is printed just a blank page.
Note: I am able to print a map using the print command on the Google page, but the map consists of 3 small boxes (overview, start, and end). I can't print out a zoomed-in area.
I emptied the cache, cleared history, and I have not reset Safari.
Any suggestions as to why and what to do would be appreciated. Thanks

Google wrote and said they changed their output format for printing. So, not a Safari issue.

FF4 displaying the google map in my website. But while printing google map from FF4 its not displaying the map in the print out paper.
I chekced this FF 3.6 and there is no problem with this and other versions. FF4 having this problem.
What should I do for this? Please let me know.

What printer models is this intended for? I assume it is aimed at the lower end inkjets, with the suggestion of loading 10-25 sheets of paper.

Script error message when printing google maps driving direction into PDF

My system; Win 7/ 64bits/IE 9 both 32 and 64 bits/Adobe Acrobats 10.1.1. Pro
Intial problems in printing web sites into PDF files has been resolved when I upgraded into 10.0.1 after having installed IE9.
However, with 10.1.1. version, I noticed that when I tried to convert google maps results for a driving direction (From A to B), script error message showed up and I could not convert it into PDF. I tried both IE 9 32bits and 64 bits version, but both failed to do it. Please fix the problem for the next updates.

You might try running CHKDSK on the disk to where you try to save the file. You might have a corrupted file directory or a damaged track on that disk. I urge you to backup what you can before trying this.

Can't print Google Maps embedded in iWeb 08 pages

I have created a web page using iWeb 08; the page has several Google maps embedded. I realize that the Google maps are interactive but I can't find a way to print the web page showing the Google maps. When I print, I get blank space where the maps are. I've tried printing from Safari, iWeb and via PDF but none of these methods print the map as shown on the screen. Is there a way to do this?

You cannot.
It's the way Apple embeds the map in the page.
Solution: Go to Google Maps, find your location, copy the HTML Embed code and paste it with the HTML Snippet.
Next problem: When printing the page, I see scroll bars on the printed page.

Unable to Use Google Maps

I have recently upgraded to Mac OSX 10.8.4 and use the latest Safari browser (v6.0.5) all the time. At some point, since I use iGoogle as my homepage, my maps changed to the Google Maps version now in place. I am unable to use it, as it never changes from its grey, non-visual map mode to anything allowing me to see a distinct map or to find directions; it just doesn't work. Has anyone else had this problem? If so, what did you do to correct the situation?
I have used Google to search for and select maps.google.com, which brings up the identical screen I see when I choose the Maps tab in iGoogle. It does not display any map even after an arbitrary search for a specific address.

Try emptying the Safari cache and deleting cookies ...
Press Command + Option + E to empty the cache.
Now open Safari > Preferences > Privacy
Click Details. Remove all Google related items.
Quit and relaunch Safari to test.

Unable to show Google map in Apex page

Can I restore the prior File print command functionality for Google maps?

Printing Google Maps, recently the file command on Firefox only prints the map and not the directions also. The map and directions both used to print. I am aware that there is the print link near the map, this prints a much larger map and causes trouble with our ISA server. This link requires full access to the Google.com site. We have restricted access to the maps.google.com for employee productivy reasons. My question is can I restore the prior printing functionality? The printing works fine with I.E.

It's either that or finding other software for your scanning needs. For example, Image Capture comes with OS X, VueScan 9.2.09, ExactScan Pro 2.24.
Alternatively, partition your hard drive and install Snow Leopard on another volume.
To resize the drive do the following:
1. Open Disk Utility and select the drive entry (mfgr.'s ID and size) from the left side list.
2. Click on the Partition tab in the DU main window. You should see the graphical sizing window showing the existing partitions. A portion may appear as a blue rectangle representing the used space on a partition.
3. In the lower right corner of the sizing rectangle for each partition is a resizing gadget. Select it with the mouse and move the bottom of the rectangle upwards until you have reduced the existing partition enough to create the desired new volume's size. The space below the resized partition will appear gray. Click on the Apply button and wait until the process has completed. (Note: You can only make a partition smaller in order to create new free space.)
4. Click on the [+] button below the sizing window to add a new partition in the gray space you freed up. Give the new volume a name, if you wish, then click on the Apply button. Wait until the process has completed.
You should now have a new volume on the drive. Use the Snow Leopard installer DVD to install Snow Leopard on your new volume.
It would be wise to have a backup of your current system as resizing is not necessarily free of risk for data loss. Your drive must have sufficient contiguous free space for this process to work.

OP is using N8 running Belle and unfortunately most "Google Maps" issues seem to be with users in India for some reason.
For most other users turning your Wifi ON (even if you arent using the WiFi connection) then run Google Maps seems to work.

Google maps app is not visible in app store

Hi, I am new to iOS and using a UK based factory unlock iphone 4s with iOS 7 in Pakistan. I am unable to find google maps app in app store.
If I see app from maps.google.com and tap on download, it tries to open app store but nothing happens. Is it anything to do with my apple ID or UK based store? Please suggest solution.

Since updates last week Firefox crashes each time open google maps even in safe mode

Last week Firefox updated itself and there was a java update too. Since then I have been unable to access google maps within my browser, every time I get the grey background and then FF crashes. Have tried clearing cookies, safe mode, disabled the few plugins installed and a complete reinstall... same problem.

Can't install Google Maps after upgrading to iOS 8

I try to install Google Maps into my iPhone 4S. The Google Maps icon shows it is loading on an iPhone page. When the installation finishes, the Google Maps icon disappears and I am unable to use Google Maps. Google Maps remains in the list of apps with the button showing Remove, so iTunes appears to think that Google Maps is installed. I click Remove and click Sync and the button shows Install. How can I fix this loading failure?

Hi,
I have just got this phone and have been unable to get "Google maps", "Download!" etc to work. I have tried to manually configure the internet but it does not allow me to add proxy details (Real handy!). I have tried the .prov method and it is not supported on this phone. I am a bit stumped as to why we are not allowed to add Proxy details. Any Help would be really appreciated.

You need an external GPS device the following are Nokia GPS devices there are 100s of external GPS devices and most like both below use bluetooth to connect to your device all you need is the software on your mobile like google maps to use the GPS potential

Why can't I print out google maps on my hp photosmart premium c410?

I'm set up wireless and it works good except when I try to print out a map from google maps and sometimes from yahoo maps. Can someone help with this? I also have a hp 1350 all in one I have to usb plug in when printing from google maps. I'm running win7 64bit home premium.

What happens when you print from those map programs? Does it fail to print or is the size incorrect?

Sluggish at initial opening and loading websites, google maps print and images not working right, problems are not present in Chrome and Safari

Firefox is very slow opening. Web pages load slowly. When I go to images in a Google search, the pictures take a long time to load, and when I click on an image, then the back arrow, the loading time for the previous page is very slow. When I print a Google map, it is small, rather than full-page. In Google Chrome or Safari, the same actions product immediate results. I cannot get Google desktop to work.

This sounds like a network problem, since it goes away when you connect through a different network. You'll need to talk to your university's IT department about this.
