Unable to print to kyocera fs-1020D with netgear printer server

Hi,
I have a Kyocera FS-1020D connected to the network via a netgear PS101 printer server. I can see the print server admin page through my browser. I have installed the correct printer driver for the fs-1020d. Every time I try to print to the printer, it pauses and I can restart the printer but when I try to resume the document the printer pauses again.

Powerbook Printing to a WinXP PC with Shared printer issue

I've recently made the switch for my laptop to a Powerbook G4 and am very very happy with it. There is only one thing that I cannot seem to get working though.
I have a Canon i950 Photo Printer hooked up to my desktop XP machine via USB and have it shared for network use. When I try to print to it over the network with my Powerbook, no matter what I try the text is always comicly small to the point that it is unreadable... picture a full page of text printed into the top corner of the page, scaled down.
When I connect the i950 directly to the powerbook with USB, it prints perfectly and I've got no issues. It appears that it uses a different driver for local printing as opposed to network printing.
Does anyone know of anything I can try to resolve this?

I dont have an airport express, but the thought did

Google Cloud Print not possible to connect with HP Printer

Hello,
I want to connect my Officejet 8600 printer with Google Cloud Print.
I write my [email protected] adress (without @hpeprint.com) in the field and enter, I got always the error message:
"Could not get printer information from HP."
Is there a Server Problem or is the problem, that HP changed from eprintcenter to hpconnected.com?
Can someone help me?

Depending on which Officejet 8600 you have will depend on which Google Cloud Print path you will use. If you have the Officejet 8600 e-all in one then you will need to register it as an ePrint printer with your HP Connected account, take that ePrint address and register it with your Google Cloud Print account.
If you have an older Office jet 8600, then you will need to register it as a classic print, directly with the Google Cloud.
Please see this support document for more information.
As for your question regarding ePrint center and HP Connected. If you are located in the: United States, United Kingdom, France or Germany - you should be using HP Connected. If you are located in another other country - you should be using ePrint center.

Wireless Printing with Netgear Print Server and HP Officejet 6110

Setting up my wife's iMac for wireless printing (Mac is in Kitchen, printer in home office).
We have a Netgear router and her internet connection (wireless) is fine.
I configured the WGPS606 via a Vista laptop and have effectively printed through to the server wirelessly from the laptop.
I downloaded and installed the drivers for the HP printer to the mac and have successfully printed when connected via USB (brought the printer to the kitchen to test)
In adding the IP printer, I am able to set up an IP printer fine, but the HP driver does not appear in the dropdown menu.
I have been able to get the iMac to ping the Print Server and choosing another HP driver does spool, but with gibberish of course.
I believe the problem is that I can't figure out how to get the new driver to appear in the dropdown in the printer settings, which should solve the problem, I think.

Unfortunately, there are two kinds of driver on OS X (not like Windows), Carbon and CUPS. To use the CUPS standard network protocols like IP printing, you have to use CUPS drivers. HP doesn't provide CUPS drivers (yet). Install the hpijs 3-part set:

Problem printing from Adobe Reader .pdf with Brother printer from a Mac

I have a macbook pro with Intel Core i7 and OS X Yosemite and Brother MFC-7360N printer connected by wifi. My problem is that I can print everything from all programs except from the Adobe Reader .pdf that do I print from my Preview files .. The error I get is "Error filter". Does anyone know where can originate the error and how to fix it?

I have a Dell Inspiron 530S computer and a Dell Photo 926 printer. Using Firefox with the printer, how do I scan a blank form into the computer and fill it out there and then print out the completed form with the printer?

That's not really a Firefox support issue.
Check with Dell support and ask if the scanner software is capable of saving the form as an actual form, instead of as an image as most scanners do.

Print settings dont match up with Photoshop Printer

I'm using a Toshiba e-studio 3055c and every time I try to print from Photoshop as a Letter size but when it get sent to the printer it shows up as Ledger size and jams the printer. I've done customer support with Toshiba and reinstalled drivers etc. This is something new. It wasn't doing this not too long ago and I haven't changed any of my settings. Is anyone else having this problem?

Nobody can tell you anything without proper system info or other technical details like the exact print settings or document sizes in PS. Chances are you have simply enabled an "auto-select tray" option or similar in the printer driver or even the printer's config menu itself...

Invoice Printing (AR) in rel 12 with duplex printing

I am working on an invoice RTF and I need to print a price list on the back of the Invoice.
This price list is not static as prices can keep changing and I'll get them from a query (Query the INV module).
I've seen Tim Dexter's blog on printing T&Cs on the back
but in his case T&Cs are a static page. If you have any examples of duplex printing with a database query being
the source of information on the back of the page, I'd really appreciate it.
I need to demo this functionality to end users during UAT next week so I'm in a bit of time crunch here...

Could you please help answer this question?
I've been trying to print a price list (Coming from a database query in Advanced Pricing module) on the back of my invoice. I've created Data definition and template for this query and registered it as a sub template.
An Oracle report was created as a source for the xml to build the sub-template.
But when I call this sub template in my main template (Invoice), all I see
are the headings. No Price list data is printed.
Even then, when I print the report from EBS, I still get one-sided print outs.
Do I need to do anything on the Printer side to get a two sided document?
If any one has done the two-sided printing, I'd be more than happy to share my RTF, XML and RDFs for main template (Invoice) and Sub-template (Price List) with them.

Printing smartform through spool - preview with boxes, print output without

Hello fellows,
Situation:
I have custom report, which prints custom smartform. Everything works well, but customer basis had implemented some supporstack packages and now the preview of smartform is still ok with frame boxes of windows elements, but when user click on print button, then the print output (hardcopy, or pdf) is without these boxes. Printing is made through LOCL device and spool.
Propositions:
I am just developer and from my point of view, problem is not in smartform or report, but in some basis settings. This is not my field so I need advice, what should I do (check)... ?
Is there same SAP note for these kind of issues?

In SPAD transaaction I changed for LOCL device hostpooll assignment from F: FRONT-END PRINTING to G: FRONT-END PRINTING WITH CONTROLS.
When report call SMARTFORM, sends also control parameters and with these setting print all BOXEs.
But customer wants this setting on F, not for G because of other forms.

I think that info about Macs and postscript printers applies to OS 9.
But there are usually two challenges to get this working:
1. Driver - postscript drivers aren't limited to local connections; non-postscript drivers nearly always are (because manufacturers provided Carbon drivers that specify the comm type). A postscript PPD/driver for your model is included in OS X.
2. Print Server setup. There's almost always an auto-setup wizard for Windows. We Mac users have to read the manual and understand what details to use in the Add printer dialog.
First - what is called the TCP/IP protocol in the Netgear manual is the LPD protocol on OS X. What is called the Physical Port Name in the manual is equal to queue name in OS X. If I'm reading the correct manual, the queue name for parallel port 1 is "P1." Enter that in the space for queue name in the Add printer dialog.

Unable to use a custom security realm with Netscape Directory Server in WebLogic 7

I have all users and groups stored in a Netscape LDAP server (version 4.1.6 on
Solaris 8), so I want to create a custom security realm in WebLogic 7 (also run
on Solaris 8) which uses my LDAP server as the Authenticator. I tried this by
using the Admin Console and followed exactly the steps in Chapter 3 of the "Managing
WebLogic Security" doc. However, when I rebooted WebLogic and logged into the
Admin Console again and clicked the Users node under my custom realm, I saw this
message in the right-hand pane: "There are no Authentication providers available
that support the creation of Users". Also, I don't see my custom realm in the
dropdown list under mydomain -> Security tab -> General tab -> Default Realm.
What did I do wrong? Also, where does WebLogic store the custom security realm
info? It is definitely not in config.xml.

Error with InDesign "Print Booklet"

I'm trying to print a 72 page document with the "Print Booklet" feature on my new 11x17 printer.
I get this error message: "The active document uses multiple page sizes. Print Booklet works only with documents that use a consistent page size" but all of the pages in the document are the same size.
Anything I can do to get this working? I've got CS6 with all the updates.
