I recently tried buying one of the new iPod games from the store with some of the money I had previously put on the account with money from a gift card. As usual it asked for my password and then confirmation if I wanted to buy the game. To my surprise after this it asked me to re-enter my password to look at my billing info, which it had never asked for before. ßince I didn't want to enter credit card information I had the bubble for type of payment as "none". When I finished this, the store did not download the game. I have tried multiple times without success.

where did you find out you can't use them dkorn and if not why are they selling them? i have used a 50$ mastercard gift card for my previous purchases and have always had a 20$ store credit everything i have bought has gone to the credit card and none to the store credit and it's saying i can't buy anything until i resolve some billing problem due to credit card decline

Unable to purchase content from US iTunes store

Has anyone else had difficulty purchasing content ie tv shows from the US iTunes store with your log in information? itunes allows me to browse the US site and choose items to buy but when I log in to purchase them I am told that because I am Canadian I have to buy the items from the Canadian itunes store, which although the tv programs are broadcast here on Canadian networks Itunes doesn't allow me to purchase the same tv programs. WIll there be a Canadian version of the TV programs section of ITunes coming soon?

This has been covered here literally dozens of times, but once again: the content owners do not allow cross-border sales from any of the legal download stores. You must therefore have legal residence in the country of the iTunes Music Store you wish to use. So in order to buy from another country's iTunes Music Store, you must (as proof of residence) have either:
a) a credit card issued by a bank in that country with a billing address also in that country, or
b) a mailing address for your residence in that country and a gift certificate or a prepaid card that was bought in that country.
If you cannot fulfill one of these two sets of conditions, you will not be able to purchase from any given country's iTMS.
This, again, is due to restrictions placed on Apple by the rights holders, not by Apple's choice. When, or indeed if, the owners of the TV shows will allow Apple to sell them in your country, no one here can say. We'll all just have to wait and see.

Itunes wont sync recently purchased content with an error message

About 10 days ago itunes stopped syncing TV episodes that were purchased recently. It comes back with an "this computer is not authorized to play ..." but in fact it is. I have also unauthorized and reauthorized this MAC but it will still not sync the recently downloaded (about 2 weeks or younger) episodes.
To clarify it will sync all content that was downloaded earlier.
Any ideas ?

Are you saying that you are running iTunes 10.7 now and it is still telling you to update iTunes?

I have an AppleTV which is synced to an iTunes library. The computer with that iTunes library is dead. My AppleTV now has a mix of old content that was synced with the old library and new content that was purchased through the AppleTV and never synced.
Is the never-synced content lost when I break the sync/pairing with an old (now dead) computer?

no. content that was purchased on the appletv but never synced back will not be lost.

Family Sharing is an iOS8 feature. As you are using iOS 7 on your 4S, that is perhaps why you cannot download a "shared" app.

It happened many times with my Apple id. Firstly, I was unable to purchases contents from itunes store. The notif "contact itunes support" always appear everytime I tried to purchased. Everytime I met the issue, I always contacted itunes support, but rarely itunes support teams replied my email. This time, it happened again, and even more. Right now I couldn't purchases anything from itunes store even music. It said that I have to verify my billing info. I've tiped everything needed in that billing info also my credit card, but the notif always "security code is invalid". How come it is invalid, when I handed the card my self when I tiped the number on my apple id. I've repeated it over and over again, but the same notif always came.
Anyone could explain to me, what's happen to my apple id axactly and how to solve this issue.

Unable to create content properly in UCM 11G using validateStandard filter

    We have used validateStandard filter to assign content id with 16 digits in UCM 10G and it worked well, we deployed this component in UCM 11G but it is not working properly. When we click on Check In button content is getting created and displaying Check_In Confirmation with 16 digit Content ID, upon clicking on Content Info it is displaying the complete info page. When we try to search the content it is not displaying in search results, also when tried to export it using Archiver it is not creating batch file. When we see logs in View Server out put it is displaying

I had a few questions regarding purchased content (i.e. apps, music, movies) and data transfers:
1. Can you re-download purchased apps for free or do you have to purchase them again?
2. Can you re-download purchased movies and music if the data is lost or do you have to purchase them again?
3. I noticed every time you download a movie it prompts you to backup the data with discs. I practically never use discs and most of the time, I have a large amount of purchased data that simply will not fit on DVD-Rs. Is it possible to backup data via external hard-drives? Is there an export option in iTunes to do this or do you have to go into the physical path which it's located?
4. Can you sync purchased content with multiple devices? For instance, I have a 32GB iTouch and an iPhone, would I be able to sync the same data for both of these devices or am I restricted to one?
5. How many computers can you have data synced with? For instance, I have five computers and a soon-to-be MacBook. How many computers can I have the same data synced up to?

You are not entitled to a repeat download of any media item. Sometimes unfortunate users are granted a one-time only repeat download if they ask nicely but don't count on it.

Yes, you can backup to external drives or network shares however iTunes has no system for managing this. You just need to copy the files from their source folders, either manually or....
*Fast backup for iTunes library (Windows Only)*
Grab SyncToy 2.1, a free tool from MS. This can be used to copy your entire iTunes library (& other important data folders) onto another hard drive or network share. You can then use SyncToy periodically to synchronise or echo your library to the backup. A preview will show which files need to be updated giving you a chance to spot unexpected changes and during the run only the new or updated files will be copied saving lots of time. And if your media is all organised below the main iTunes folder then you should also be able to open the backup library on any system running the same version of iTunes.

You can sync the content to as many iPods/iPhones/iPads as you like. Each device can hold protected content from up to five different accounts at any one time.

You can authorise protected content on up to five different computer systems at any one time. Virtual machines count as separate systems as do computers with reformatted drives or, perhaps, certain hardware changes. Ideally you should deauthorise a computer before any major upgrade. If you are no longer able to access one of your systems but need to release the authorisation then, if you have five active authorisations you can deauthorise all of them together, however you may not then repeat this preocess for 12 months.
Protected content can only be transfered to a device when the computer is authorised. Devices may be manually managed from a number of computers but may only be automatically synced with one. Syncing is a one way process as far as media is concerned, library to device, but certain metadata such as play count and rating flows in both direction. With manual managment such metadata is not copied.

But where are you seeing evidence of that? Explain what makes you think that they are being downloaded from iCloud? Do you see a cloud icon next to the music and movies on the iPad? That simply means that they are available in iCloud for you to download without having to go to the purchased tabs of the stores on your device if you want to download them again.
You can turn that off in Settings>iTunes and App Store>Show All>Videos>Off and Music>Off.

HT2204 What is the best way to use iTunes Match with two Apple ID's that have purchased content?

In my early years of using iOS devices i have unwittingly made the mistake of creating a second Apple ID for my second device. So now i have two Apple ID's with purchased content associated with them.
I have turned on iTunes Match with the account that has the bulk of my music linked to it. But my second account has maybe 150-200 songs (and lots of apps) that i really like and don't want to loose. Activating iTunes Match for the main account wiped these 150-200 songs off my iOS devices and replace them. Is it possible to have content from both my apple id's on my devices at the same time? Is it possible to combine the content from both of my accounts?

I'll try to help a bit.
ITunes match space is different to icloud space. With iTunes match you get storage for 25,000 non iTunes purchased tracks and other than a limit for individual file size, there is no memory limit.
You can turn match on individuallyon each device (I have it turned off on my iPod but turned on on my iPad and iPhone). When you turn it on then you get access to all the tracks, and in my experience any playlists I create have transferred over very well. I understand that some people have had trouble with playlists though.
I'm not quite clear with exactly what you mean regarding cleaning up your library, but be careful about using Match for this. There is no guarantee that matched songs will be exactly the same version as your own copy, due to some mismatches, so you could find some problems there. Personall, I am cleaning up my library before matching, but I am rather particular about keeping my library the way I want it. If you aren't as fussed then match could be the answer.

The iPads here take a sim card. We were advised by an Apple Store Employee at home that this model would work in Europe and that we could buy our service here. That does not seem to be the case. We have been told that we must invest in a modem at 200.00€ and then purchase a separate service plan for each country. We can use the free wifi wherever it is available but we cannot connect to the outside world when out of range. Is there anything else we can do?

Very very likely that tax is applicable and tax is more than $0.01. You need to add a payment method for the tax. If you add a credit card, the girft card balance will be used up first.
