Unable to purchase films

I am unable to purchase films from the iTunes Store today. The 'Buy Now' bar disappears when I click it.

Could be the speed of your computer.
Can you provide the spec's?

You can use the 'report a problem' page to contact iTunes Support (generally unless there is a problem with an item e.g. app doesn't work as described, film doesn't play etc. then purchases are considered final) : http://reportaproblem.apple.com

  • Unable to purchase apps

It wont let me purchase apps on my ipod touch. I try download or install an app and it doesnt do anything just says waiting and does nothing. The only way to clear it is to re start and when i do that i get an unable to purchase messgae. Is ther a fix to this problem available?

Try uninstalling then re installing ovi app store
Failing that try hardware resetting your phone
Make sure you have set up your wifi connection first, and set it as priority 1 in destinations in connection manager.
I have had so many problems with nokias, it just feels like it will be a bit hit and miss as to weather anything works.
I used an android for a little while and even the cheapest (t-mobile pulse mini) was so much smoother and more reliable.
Every time I needed help I found the fastest solution off other fraustrated nokia users, never off the company itself. Get an Android next time, the only thing nokia does well are small, cheap dumbphones.

I have an ipad2 with wifi and 3G.  My wife and I are traveling in France (Nice) then into Italy.  We are unable to purchase a data plan because our Verizon IPad will not accept a sim chip...we are told.  An Apple store employee here said this model is good only in the US. The iPads here take a sim card. We were advised by an Apple Store Employee at home that this model would work in Europe and that we could buy our service here.  That does not seem to be the case.    We have been told that we must invest in a modem at 200.00€ and then purchase a separate service plan for each country. We can use the free wifi wherever it is available but we cannot connect to the outside world when out of range. Is there anything else we can do?
    Thanks, John

Unfortunately, no other solution is available.
    Hope this helps

  • I have an iTunes gift card and I have redeemed it. However, I am unable to purchase things from the iTunes Store. How do I purchase an app with my gift card?

I have an iTunes gift card and I have redeemed it. However, I am unable to purchase things from the iTunes Store. How do I purchase an app with my gift card?

Very very likely that tax is applicable and tax is more than $0.01. You need to add a payment method for the tax. If you add a credit card, the girft card balance will be used up first.

  • HT5622 Unable to purchase

When trying to purchase apps I get a box that says unable to purchase. I have multiple devices using the same Apple ID and all are working except for my iphone 5s. I have tried to sign out of iTunes and App Store thru the settings but now I can't sign in.

The Three Best Alternatives for Security Questions and Rescue Mail
        1. Use Apple's Express Lane.
Go to https://expresslane.apple.com ; click 'See all products and services' at the
bottom of the page. In the next page click 'More Products and Services, then
'Apple ID'. In the next page select 'Other Apple ID Topics' then 'Forgotten Apple
ID security questions' and click 'Continue'. Please be patient waiting for the return
phone call. It will come in time depending on how heavily the servers are being hit.
         2.  Call Apple Support in your country: Customer Service: Contact Apple support. Ask
              to speak to Security Support.
         3.  Rescue email address and how to reset Apple ID security questions.

  • I am unable to purchase as I cannot complete the address as it is asking for a USA adress and not a GB address. How do I overcome this?

I was unable to purchase music as the billing address prompt was for the USA. As I am purchasing from England how do I overcome this? Is there a prompt to change the billing adress to GB and form $ to £.

No, I did not have to purchase the upgrade. But here is what I believe my
error was: earlier today, I upgraded to LR 5.6 on my laptop. Then I
upgraded to the same on my desktop, but became confused and installed it
    TWICE.
Is this the reason that Adobe is asking me to license Lightroom and to come
up with a serial number? (I have my serial # from LR4, but it does not do.)
Should I try to deactivate LR 5 and then try again to upgrade to it?
Or am I still confused and need to purchase the LR 5.6 upgrade? Thanks for
    your help.

I recently did the iOS 7.0.2 update, now I'm unable to purchase apps. "App could not be purchased at this time. Please try again later. ". I have tried a few of the suggestions and nothing has worked. Reset, change auto lock time on main screen, change language setting. Now what???

    This sorted it for me:
Backup your iPhone to iCloud (I believe backing up to iTunes will work too). Now go to "Settings --> General --> Reset --> Erase All Content and Settings" to completely restore your iPhone to factory settings. Assuming you've backed up to iCloud, you'll be asked when setting up your iPhone if you want to restore from an iCloud backup. Choose that option and once your iPhone has restored itself from your backup, this annoying problem will finally be gone! (was for me anyway).
To restore from an iTunes backup, connect your iPhone to your computer, load iTunes. Click the File menu and select Devices > Restore from Back up.

  • I get a pop-up window on top of the iTunes sign-in box saying "unable to purchase"

Sometimes this box pops up when I choose an app to purchase. I tap the install box and the sign-in to iTunes box opens. At the same time another box pops up on top of the sign-in box that says "UNABLE TO PURCHASE Angry Birds Seasons cannot be purchased at this time.  Please try again later." I then have to say "cancel" before I get back to my original sign-in box and proceed with my download. I have Angry Birds installed, have had it for several months.  I deleted Angry Birds but that didn't help. I signed out of iTunes store and that didn't help. I did a restart of my iPad and that didn't help and I also did a reset from settings.  It is annoying to say the least and I know this is not supposed to be. It's like something is stuck somewhere I between the iPad and iTunes. It doesn't happen on my iPhone or on my computer when I access iTunes, only the iPad.

  • Unable to Purchase: "APP" could not be purchased at this time. Please try again later.

Everytime I've tried to purchase an app since downloading IOS 7 (don't get me started on the oh-so-many things that don't work with this new operating system, although this one really ticks me off) I can't download a single app from the app store. The message (above) is what I get with "APP" being the actual name of the app (ie. "Instagram"). The apps I already have on the phone will automatically update without a problem, this has to do with the actual new purchases (either free or paid) that I would like to make. I currently have the most up-to-date version of IOS 7 v. 7.0.4
I have tried to do the following to no avail:
    1) A soft reset: Holding the top bottom and the home button simultaneously until the phone powers itself off and automatically comes back on.
    2) Signed in and out of my Apple iTunes account.
    3) Signed out of my Apple iTunes account, did a soft reset, signed back in once the phone powered back up.
    4) Changed the credit card information to a different credit card just in case for some strange reason Apple didn't like my credit card.
Any suggestions that anyone else may have (and please don't link to a troubleshooting article, those are hardly helpful) would be great. I've looked through Apple's support communities and haven't found a single answer to this question, although I've seen similiar questions and no real answers thus far.
    Thank you.

I also have the same issue. Unable to easily purchase apps from the app store. Get the unable to purchase app purchase, followed by a never ending spinning circle next to the app title. I've discovered that closing out of the app, and attempting to redownload from the purchase list usually works.
Apple has really screwed up the user experience with ios7. This is inexcusable. A $600 device that is supposedly state of the art, and you have to try several work arounds to download apps is tragic. If Steve Jobs were around, several heads would have rolled by now. This needs to be fixed now, not in February, not in March.

No. And even if it were possible nobody here can give you that info!

  • "Unable to purchase" message

Every time I downloading something from AppStore, message appears "Unable to purchase" with text "2GIS and 25 other items could not be purchaces at this time. Please try again later." But programm "2GIS" is installed and working. Anf in my account purchase history there's no information about other 25 programs I could not purchase.
What shall I do? Where can I find applications AppStore thinks Im trying to purchase? How to clear this list?
    Screenshot:

I am also having this issue. Mine says 48. The one name it does give me I have deleted from my phone. I also synced with my computer then even tried deleting it from iTunes and syncing it.
The one app in question will then show an icon that is stuck in an install state (is grayed out with the word "waiting" under it). To get rid of it I have to reboot my phone.

  • Unable to update error tied to Unable to purchase error?

I have tried changing the DNS servers to both Google (8.8.8.8,  8.8.4.4) and openDns (208.67.222.222, 208.67.220.220) and have had no luck updating to 5.1.  I have tried multiple Wi-Fi connections.  I haven't tried updating through itunes becase I havent had a chance to plus I just moved and don't have internet hooked up at my new house yet.  I really don't want to have to wipe my iphone 4 just to download 5.1.  I am wondering if this "unable to check for update error is tied in any way to the "Unable to purchase _______ and ___ other apps at this time error." I am interesed to know if anybody who is having trouble updating to 5.1 also gets the unable to purchase ___ error.

I have this problem too, I keep getting pop ups saying that my iPad 2 is unable to purchase certain things I haven't even purchased!
Plus I have been trying to download the 5.1 update since it was released last Wednesday with no luck, I keep getting the same unable to check for updates error message...
It's frustrating seeing as both my iPads and iPhone 4s and apple TV can't be updated... I don't want to have to alter any dns settings. Why should I have too!!!
Anyway how would changing the dns settings help an apple TV ?
It's about time apple let us know what's wrong!

  • HT1600 how do i move a purchased film in itunes to shared video so i can see it on apple tv

how do i move a purchased film in itunes to shared videos so it links into apple tv

Well, it really depends on the file format your friends are using to send you the video. iTunes will only play certain formats, think of it as........having a car that only takes premium gasoline. If your friends give you a million gallons of regular gasoline, sure it's gasoline, but it won't work in your car. (That's a bad analogy but it's the best I can come up with).
So, if you open up your mail (are you using the Mail program on your computer, or going to a website such as gmail.com or yahoo.com to access your mail?), you should be able to right click the video and select to download it.
This should download it to your "downloads" folder, it should be on your dock if you didn't remove it. Click it, and select the "More in finder" button at the very top of the "stack".  If not, click the "Finder" button on your dock, and on the left click the Downloads tab.
Now, you must find the video. It should have the name of the video with the extension (an example would be...... firstbirthday.mp4). The extension is the ".mp4" part. Yours may be .mov, .mp4, .mkv, .avi, the list goes on and on, but it's very important.
You can try dragging the movie into iTunes (drag it anywhere over where it says Music, Movies, TV Shows, etc.) and it should hopefully turn to a little green bubble with +1. If the extension is not compatible, then, converting will be needed and that's a bit more tricky. It's also a little more tricky to get them to play on your Apple TV unless you use AirPlay.
Let us first know what extension these videos are in and we can go from there.
