Unable to read the dictionary of the application or extension...

I had previously installed the HP Color LaserJet 3600 driver from the install CD under Tiger. I recently did an archive and install of Leopard, then ran all the system updates. (Currently at 10.5.5)
When I insert the 3600 CD, though, I get a bunch of jibberish (parts of images, etc.) and a MAC OS X directory. The installer inside that directory attempts to be opened with Script Editor, though, and gives an error: "Unable to read the dictionary of the application or extension because it is not scriptable." followed by "The document 'HP Color LaserJet v5.6.1.069' could not be opened."
Previously this would launch the HP installation program that would install the driver. Now, it's like it's not a recognized program or something. I downloaded the driver from the HP website to try it that way (clj3600MacOSX.dmg) with the same result. The .dmg file opens a disk image with the "HP Color LaserJet v.5.6.1.069" file in it...same result. Cannot open.
I know this program ran fine under Tiger...and a co-worker got it to run after doing an upgrade to Leopard (instead of archive and install.)
When I downloaded the HP 4300 installer dmg, it launches a .mpkg file and Get Info says it's set to open with "Installer (default)". The 3600 file, though is set to open with "Script Editor (default)". I've looked to set it to Installer, but don't know where it is...it's not in Applications or Utilities folder.
I then right clicked on the installer file and selected "Show Package Contents". In the window that was displayed, there was a Contents folder. Inside that folder was a file called "HP Color LaserJet v5.6" with no file extension (Get Info doesn't show an extension either,) but it has a VISE logo. Opening that file launches the VISE installer and performs the setup.
So, by jumping through hoops and getting lucky, I was able to install the driver.
The bigger issue, though, is why the installation CD and/or .dmg file downloaded from HP's website cannot run the installer as usual...why are they set to open with Script Editor as the default application...and how can I fix it so that other disks won't have the same problem?

--First i did kernel upgrade from 701 patch 111 to 720 patch 105 which was successfull.

Is Kernel upgrade to 720 really required for Support package stack upgrade ?
because information clearly states "Error in the SAP kernel" rather i would suggest to upgrade your SAP system kernel to latest of 701 patch level 150
Once you revert kernel to 701 , then try applying Support packages via client 000.

We are in ECC 6.0. After inputting plan data for GL using TCode GP12N, I am trying to run the report F.01. However the system is giving the error "Inconsistency in the Dictionary for the structure "FAGLPOSX"". Has anyone faced this problem before? Do I have to activate something before I start planning? Do help if you have a solution for the same.

Hi,
Solved!! I had incorrectly added EBELN in the additional fields for line item display config. This resulted in the EBELN field appearing twice in FAGLPOSX and hence the error.

Unable to read blob attributes in the Asset Filter

I am unable to read a blob attribute in the Asset Filter using the following code.
The String attributes work fine.
Can I get some examples for reading blob attributes in the filter?
I am using Webcenter Sites 11gr1

Unable to read beyond end of the stream

I am coding a Training log for a college project and I am getting this error:

The Training.dat file is empty, if that is what you mean it needs to be to start off with because in my program you need to enter the training information and save it, here is the code to save and it is all used on the same form:

Unable to read usb memory stick + "the disk you inserted was not readable by this computer"

Hi Everyone,
Today I was tryign to use a brand new memory stick 8GB-Samsung PNY on my Mac Book Pro. (Mac OSX 10.7.5)
1. I do not see this drive in the Finder.
   2. Diskutil could detect the drive.
   3. I was trying to put ubuntu image file on the drive from the terminal uitility and I have this error message in a dialog box:
      "the disk you inserted was not readable by this computer"
4. Clicking on initialize helps me realise that the drive is detected. But I do not have a clue on how to proceed from here. I am new to Mac and its file system formats.
The same issue happened with my 500GB external Western Digital Hard Drive. I was reading on forums that WD got some issues with Apple is trying to resolve. I expected to not have this road-block with another brand but it happened with my memory stick. Now I was forming an impression that something should be done to external storage devices inorder for me to use them Mac OSX.
Kindly enlighten me and help overcome this issue.

I erased the memory stick and formatted to "Mac OS Extended(Journaled)".
I attempted once again to use the "sudo dd" command from termial trying to copy the Ubuntu image file to the memory stick.
The operation termainates with the same message
      "the disk you inserted was not readable by this computer"
The termainal message says some bytes got transffered in so many seconds. It looks like this operation is being terminated in the middle.
Have any suggestions and work arounds?

The iPhone doesn't already have that? That is surprising. I would have thought there were 30 different widgets to connect to online dictionaries.
If there aren't any entirely offline dictionaries, you can still write one. You just have to make sure your data is free of copyright restrictions. There are quite a few such dictionary databases available.

I'm from Germany but I use my iPhone 5 in English. Yesterday I was using Safari on the iPhone and wanted to check a word I wasn't familiar with. So I highlighted it, touched "define" - and was surprised to see that I was asked if I wanted to download a dictionary. Okay, so I did. The problem is: It's downloaded the German version. So I can't look-up English words because the dictionary wouldn't recognize them.
My questions are:
1.) Why does the dictionary use a German base when my iPhone runs completely English?
2.) Is there a way to change that? I haven't found an option to do so in the Settings.
The strange thing is that with the iPhone 4 I've had before this was never an issue: The Phone used English and so did the dictionary.

you're not gonna solve that with the language settings ... could be that the dictionary loads the setup language by default, but well here are some simple steps to follow:
1 highlight any word in a text (Safari, Notes anything you want)
2 tap on "define"
3 now in the dictionary panel, tap manage, and add/remove the language or languages that you need. They will be downloaded or removed as needed.
you're done.
ps: reading now that you can't find the "define" option ... then no idea, something went wrong with your setup.

Please could someone help me out on this one. I am new to ABAP and CRM Technical and have just started my career on this new track. I am getting "Inconsistency in the Dictionary for the structure COMT_BSP_BP_SEAREQ_DIVERSE" on the WebUI as error when I am logging into it -this error has got generated after I was trying to create a field using AET on WebUI. I have taken the help of another ABAPer who is presently more adept that me and he used st22 to identify that a class 'CL_BUPA_IL_SEARCH_SERVICE' is not getting activated which is resulting in this error. There is 'Inconsistency in the Dictionary for the structure "COMT_BSP_BP_SEAREQ_DIVERSE".' The BASIS guys have told me that I need to find some note to get this fixed - I have never done this.
