Unable to reconnect to internet(netcfg related)
Hi everyone,
I did chroot into my broken Archlinux from installation CD.I connected to the internet with my netcfg profile, updated somefiles.I then rebooted the system.Now Iam unable to connect with my profile.I receive the following warning message all the time.
"myprofile up"
Profile "PROFILE"='myprofile' " does not exist. :-(
I rebooted my system without bringing this profile down.I later on deleted the /run/network/profiles/myprofile file also.I tried to reconnect but the same problem occures all the time.What could be the reason behind it I have no idea.The profile is there ,netcfg configuration is ok.Iam using one profile with ppp0E connection .Any suggestions would be welcomed.

I deleted that profile and created another one.Then connected with that profile .It actually worked.Sorry for bothering .The triple quotes is a typo.

Reconnect Media - Unable to Reconnect All Files in Relative Path
I have a project that I have restored from a DLT backup. The project file and the all the media are now on a SAN which I access from my G5. Since this project originated on a different editor's computer all of the clips in my project are ostensibly offline within my project. All of the media files are located in a single capture scratch folder on the SAN with the same filenames and reel numbers. As such, I figured that when I used "Reconnect Media" with "Reconnect All Files in Relative Path" checked, all of the files would automatically relink. However, everytime I attempt to do this, the only file that is reconnected is the original file which I manually selected to establish the file path to the rest of my media. If I use the "Search" functionality and instruct FCP to search the capture scratch folder one file at a time, without fail, it will automatically find the media and reconnect it. Yet, I cannot seem to batch reonnect, as it were.
My question is this: If all of the media files are located in the same capture scratch folder (i.e. same relative path), why won't FCP automatically reconnect all the files in that folder to the corresponding offline clips?
I have attempted to reconnect the media on two different machines. The same issue arose on both machines. This leads me to believe that the problem may be a result of some issue with the filesystem on the SAN. Also, I have run FCP rescue and attempted a reconnect with both a clean backup and entirely new preference files, to no avail.Hi Nat,
I don't have a direct solution, and you might you've been doing this already. Although you didn't describe this. I think that what I would try to do is:
- Copy the project (backup).
- Open the project, and when it tells you that 132 clips and 714 render-files are offline, I'd select the checkboxes in order to 'Forget' the files.
- Hit OK.
- FCP 'forgot' all the links to the original files. So you forced errors from that perspective by doing this.
- Try to reconnect again.

I am in big problem. I had deployed a web application on IIS 7.0 which have windows server 2008 r2 installed. We have some reports in web application. Everything is working fine in web application except when I export content feom SSRS reports to PDF or CSV

This message comes only on IE8 as I had installed Mozilla but that issue is not coming on Mozilla. I don't why this issue is coming and how to solve this issue. I had gone with every possible results which I found in google but noting seems to be helpful. Please

This error usually occurs if IE is configured with the "Do not save encrypted pages to disk" advanced options setting or the server is using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) and has added one or both of the following HTTP headers to the response message:
e.g: Response.AddHeader "Cache-control: no-cache" or “Cache-control: no-store”.
To solve this issue, please try to cancel the “Do not save encrypted pages to disk” option in the advanced internet options or setting the “BypassSSLNoCache” registry. For more details, please refer to

Unable to connect to internet or print wirelessly on Boot Camp with Windows 7
I recently installed Boot Camp and Windows 7 on my Mac Book Pro with no problems.
A month later, I am unable to connect to internet or print wirelessly.
It states that I am connected to my router.
When I trouble shoot, it cannot find the problem.
My wireless connection and cable connection are fine on the MAC side.
Please help.looks a like a Windows 7 problem. I assume that you can click on the current connection info on the task bar and see a connection to your wireless router? Have you updated your copy of Windows since it was working? I am wondering if it's an update that's applied in Windows which has done something.

I have a site-to-site connection from point A to point B. From point B i am unable to access the internet from local internet provider.
I am trying to ping from 192.168.20.1 the dns 8.8.8.8 but i receive the message "destination net unreachable".
When i run "show ip nat translation" i receive nothing.
The vpn connection is working properly, i can ping the other side 192.168.10/24

We bought an iphone 4s for our daughter. We transfered it to straight talk. She can make calls and text no problem. She can use the WiFi but is unable to use the internet or mms. How do we update the APN?
To clarify for anyone who is still having any problems doing this.
1. Unlock your phone with the carrier ( I know the process will work if it is jail broken but I am assuming you dont want to void the warranty on your phone) NOTE: even if you purchased the phone outright at Wal-Mart it is still locked to ATT so you will have to unlock the phone. If it's already unlocked skip to step 2. This works and will work even if you update the phone.

2. Get a T- mobile SIM. Even if you don't want the service, if you feign interest, they will send you one for free or 99cents. If you need it now you can get one at a T-mobile store too.

I have the same problem connecting to the Internet that it is. It is more intermittent than permanent though. I have updated the driver from HP site, but no change. From the searches on the web problem seems more widespread though. HP do something! Please!

It sounds as if your BB is not properly registered with your carrier...I suggest the following:
1) Register HRT:
Homescreen > Options > Advanced Options > Host Routing Table > BBKey (it does not matter which line is current) > Register Now
2) Resend Service Books:
KB02830 Send the service books for the BlackBerry Internet Service
If that does not help, then contact your carrier.

We have users who are able to get the IP address but unable to access any internet sites.

MaheshI would do the troubleshooting in following sequence.
1. Put a wired PC on to the vlan allocated for WLAN1
2. Check whether wired PC gets an IP & can browse internet
3. If that works, then we know no issue of DHCP & not issue with L3/NAT routing to access internet
4. If step2, does not work then your issue is not within wireless, you have to change the focus of your troubleshoot.
5. If step2 works, then test a wireless client with OPEN Authentication (No ACS involvment).If this does not work,then it means wireless client does not get proper IP connectivity. Check dynamic interface configuration for this WLAN & make sure gateway addresses correctly configured. Also VLANs are trunk across to WLC from switch.
6. If step5 works, then try your client with ACS & see the client get successfully authenticated. If not it may be WLC to ACS issue. Troubleshoot that in that case.
Do some troubleshooting like this & let us know the outcome. I am sure you will abe to find out the issue easily in this way.

CS5.5 Subscription: Unable to connect to internet.
So, for two days, I've been unable to use either of the two Creative Suite 5.5 Master Collection licenses I'm currently subscribing to and paying a pretty penny for. Yesterday, Adobe customer support informed me that something must be "wrong with my machine", so, I dutifully did all of the testing, cleaning up, repairing and troubleshooting I could think of on that machine. CS5.5 Subscription on that one still doesn't work. Today, I attempted to use the other license I'm paying for on a different machine, with the exact same results.
When attempting to open any of the products, I get this message:
When I click Try Again, I get this one, which stays on this screen and never changes:
As you can imagine, I'm fairly certain I'm connected to the internet, since I'm typing this in the forum right now. I've attempted a wired connection, wireless connection and my MiFi connection, restarted, stood on one foot while patting my head, and attempted to bribe my software, with the same results each time.
Specs:
MacBook Pro 15" / Snow Leopard
Mac Mini / Lion
To reiterate, here are the steps I've attempted:
Repair permissions
Repair disk
Multiple restarts
Move from Wired to Wireless connection
Move from Wireless to MiFi connection
This isn't an issue with Lion, since it's occuring on both machines with different serial numbers. This is a problem with Adobe's subscription licensing server, or a problem with the way the software connects to it. Any assistance is appreciated, and the quicker I get it, the happier I'll be, since this has already caused me to fall behind on a deadline. At this point, I'm considering canceling the monthly subscription and reinstalling my version of CS4, which, while missing some of the features I upgraded to CS5.5 for, at least works.
Side note for Adobe personnel: It's not entirely clear in your FAQs for the subscription editions that you have to be connected to the internet every single time you open the software.I'm getting that exact same message. Started today and it's driving me crazy. I can't find any information on error code 194:100. I talked to customer support through chat and they hadn't any clue as to what error 194:100 could be. They said it was technical and I should contact tecnical support. Why anyone would want to talk to a support agent that cannot fix problems and just generally tells you to call the real customer support, I have no idea.
This is the second time I've had problems with my software activation. It was slightly different but similar in several ways. I figured I'd metion some specifics to see if it matches more or less anyone else's problems.
Both times I've noticed I've had trouble with my adobe account id. Specifically I can log in just fine but I can't access the acount info section. I get a page not found error.
This time around I noticed many other weird things.
Adobe updater disappeared from my mac.
Encoder refused to encode certain premeire sequences.
Premiere froze on export of those same sequences.
And I first got the Unable to Connect to internet error this morning. Followed shortly The "Activation Failure error code #194:100" one. I've uninstalled and reinstalled several times and Premiere seems to run fine at least once. But if I try to open any other adobe application or if I load another project I get error 194:100.
The first time I had Activation Problems I ended up having to return the software, wait for the refund, delete my adobe id account, create a new one and buy it again with the new account.
I hope this is not a repeat of last time cause I'm seriously not rebuying defective software a third time.

I had the same issue and usually a reset of all the network settings on iphone did the trick.
this method did not work with my iphone 5 . i did something in router settings that seemed to change things a lot, for the better.
the wifi channel usually the routers use is channel 11, so i changed mine to channel 1. this solved my issues and the iphone connected just fine to the network, without restarting the iphone or resetting any settings or switching off and back on the wifi.

I've just installed the FF33.0 update and I am unable to browse the Internet.
I am having to use another browser on the same laptop in order to access this site.
I have Windows 8.1 installed on an i7 Laptop. I connect via WiFi through my Broadband router. The connection is fine (checked & double checked). I can't even access the GUI of my router through FF33.0 .
I have accessed the Firefox site and downloaded FF33.0 from there. i Have update ios 7.0.2 on my ipad mini. But after update of ios 7.0.2 i am unable to connect to internet via cellulau connection. Cellular connection appears on my screen but i get error as "Could not activate cellular data network you are not subscribed to a cellular data service". Cellular connection was working prior to ios 7.0.2 update. Please help.
GOT MINE FIXED -
THE 7.0.3 update reported my iPhone as LOST or STOLEN to Verizon.
They suspended my iPhone service immediately (as I would expect them to) and THAT is why I couldn't get on.
Called Verizon wireless - they restored me in 30 seconds - EVERYTHING WORKS AGAIN.
They said "we've been doing this ALL MORNING."
Hope this works for others, too!
