Unable to redeem prepaid cards
I'm trying to redeem two prepaid cards--one for Photostop and one for Illustrator. I keep getting the message "The code you entered is invalid. Please try again." Just now it has changed to "We're sorry, something seems to be wrong on our end. Please try again later.". I've been trying for two days. I waited two hours to chat with support only to have the chat window stop updating when I got down to #4 in line.

My iPhone 5 and my PC (Windows 7) will not allow me to redeem cards or make purchases. I get an unknown iTunes error 5002 on the PC and when using the iPhone it goes blank after a code is entered and does not return. It recovers when the home button is pressed. The software is up to date and this has been tried by USB and Wi-Fi from different netwroks. This matter has persisted for more than five days without a resolution from Apple support. The same PC allows purchases from iTunes from other accounts belonging to others who use the same PC with their IOS devices (iPhone 5, iPod Touch, iPod Shuffle).

Thanks for the question. After reviewing your post, it sounds like you are not able to restore the iOS device since you get an error 9. I would recommend that you read this article, it may be able to help the issue.

Check your security software
Related errors: 2, 4, 6, 9, 1000, 1611, 9006. Sometimes security software can prevent your device from communicating with either the Apple update server or with your device.
Check your security software and settings to make sure that they aren't preventing a connection to the Apple servers.

Need some helpTo diagnose problems with Thunderbird, try the following:
*Restart Thunderbird with add-ons disabled (Thunderbird Safe Mode). On the Help menu, click on "Restart with Add-ons Disabled". If Thunderbird works like normal, there is an Add-on or Theme interfering with normal operations. You will need to re-enable add-ons one at a time until you locate the offender.

Note that Norton's is notorious for not being "off" when their interface says they are. Safe mode with networking guarantees that. -

I just purchased an iPad 2 and am unable to redeem iTunes cards today as of 8:30AM (PST). Could the millions of cards being pushed through have flooded the iTunes store, etc. Anyone?

Is the store that you bought the card from nearby so that you can try going back and asking if they can activate the card properly ? If it's not, or if they can't/won't activate, then you will need to do as the message says and contact iTunes Support (these are user-to-user forums) : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then iTunes Cards And Codes (you will probably need to give them images of the front and back of the card, and possibly its receipt)

I am attempting to change the country fro US to Canada and I keep getting that the network is refused??? hence unable to redeem Canadian gift cards. Please help.
Is your iTunes account address, and other payment method(s) ((if applicable) associated with Canada? They have to be to use that Store.
