Unable to redownload

I have an ebook that i purchased from a source other than sony. It did not initially download properly. I deleted the file using the reader software. When I try to download it again I receive a message that the file already exists and can not be downloaded. This file is not on my computer. I have tried removing and reinstalling the reader software but the result is the same. How can this be corrected?

Hello,
Welcome to the User Discussion Forums,
It appears you are experiencing a DRM issue with your book.
have you gone through Adobe Digital Editions ?
http://helpx.adobe.com/digital-editions ... tions.html
If the book has been cleared and still will not transfer, we would suggest contacting support directly to help determine why you are unable to transfer your books to your reader properly.

I nee an easy way to resolve this with Apple.

why is it this problematic to resolve?! obviously there's a valid installer image for our macs, why can we not have access to it to use on our laptops?
I do not understand, nor accept the explanation given before - about it being a newer model... it doesn't make sense... how does that translate to "no download available".
also, if it was a valid point - we would have had that download with the release of 10.9.1 - which we don't.

  • Unable to redownload Fireworks CS4

I am registered for Fireworks CS4 which is listed in my products, but it is not listed in my order history although it was purchase from the store, so I am unable to redownload it.

You can download the trial version of the software using the link below and then use your current serial number to activate it.
Be sure to follow the steps outlined in the Note: Very Important Instructions section on the download pages at this site.

  • I'm unable to redownload my purchased music

I'm unable to redownload my purchased music.  Purchased music in the store shows downloaded not the cloud and it's not on my machine.  I accidentally trashed it and emptied the trash.  I use OSX Lion

If you deleted the files from the Finder, and not from in iTunes then you need to also delete the tracks from iTunes. After doing so the tracks in the purchase history will be downloadable.

  • Unable to redownload purchased history

    Hey there,
Whenever I try to redownload my purchased history from either the webpage, or my phone. the page redirects me to a payment site. or when using the phone it tells me "Service unavailable".
I just jumped onto a Lumia 920, and I would really like to get my purchased music on there. Is there any way you guys can help me?

    Hey there.
I tried the nokia music player, music.ovi.com using IE and Firefox and the built in Nokia Music App on my Lumia 920, none of them allow me to redownload the music. Nokia Support told me I was out of "download credits" which sounds a bit off to me.
I purchased the music apart, not using a service like Unlimited.
As soon as I look at my downloaded history on the page, All albumdownloads (except one) are greyed out, as if the album is unavailabe.
The other one (the Dark Knight Rises Soundtrack) just freezes when I try to download it.
When I try to repurchase the albums, I just get to a payment page, not mentioning that I already bought the album.
I already reset my previous phone, so I am unable to copy it from there unfortunately.

  • Previous Purchase in Library as an 'error' file, unable to redownload.

I have several television shows that I have purchased. They are in my Library as icons. When I click on them to try and play, the error message comes up that "cannot find the original file'. When I look at the items as a list, there is an exclamation mark in front of the titles of the shows that this happens to.
When I go to My Account and look up my Purchase History, I can find them all, including Order number and Invoice Number.
When I go to my Purchased History (at the bottom of the main iTunes page), some are in the List but are marked as "downloaded", and some just don't show up in the List at all.
When I go to the items in the iTunes store, it is asking me to repurchase (instead of download). I haven't tried it yet, do not feel like paying for something a second time.
Apple "support" gave me a link or asked me to call the support line (for a fee).
For the first time, I am regretting using Apple products.

Something vaguely similar happened to me.  I was asked for my password when syncing my iphone and then an album i bought from iTunes in 2008 was for some reason re-downloaded. I didnt think too  much of it at the time as random songs are occasionally redownloaded when syncing and their play counts reset, though I'm not usually asked for my password.  However the album would not then sync with my very old ipad, the new song files appeared to be corrupted. Great I thought, but I'll redownload from my purchased items.  But no sign of the album there although other purchases from that time are in the history. Two videos from the album also would not sync with either phone or pad and then the entire album would not sync with either device. (as you can imagine I tried syncing with both, several times)
After a lot of guddling about burning a cd from another laptop and reimporting, as plain old AACs,  finally it occurred to me to restore the album from Time Machine, and all seems ok now, but no thanks to iTunes or its store... what is going on?

  • Unable to redownload OS X Mavericks to make bootable USB flash disk

    Hi,
I'm trying to redownload Mavericks from the App Store so I can make myself a bootable USB so I can do a clean install.  The only problem is when I click on the download button for Mavericks from with Purchases, I get prompted with a message saying that "Mavericks is already installed, but if I wish to continue downloading the installer, click continue."  But when I do, I just get a spinning loader up top, and nothing starts to download...  I've tried pressing Atl or Command C (which was offered as a solution on another thread but just throws back an error ding sound at you when you do).
Does anyone have an idea of how to  get around  this or another way of downloading the installer?
I'm starting to feel like I'm banging my head against the wall here...

I ran into the same issue - downloaded and installed Mavericks yesterday, but forgot to save the download first so I could make a USB installer. When I went to re-download, I got the "Mavericks is already installed..." message, clicked Continue, the wheel at the top of the window started spinning, and then...nothing. I let the wheel spin for the better part of an hour several times without seeing any progress. Neither restarting App Store, nor Control-clicking the 'Download' button, nor attempting to download from the 'Purchases' tab succeeded in starting the download.
I decided to try temporarily spoofing my OS X version, and it worked! Here's a step-by-step:
    1) If it's currently running, close App Store.
    2) In a Finder window, navigate to System/Library/CoreServices (you must have Finder set to display hidden and system files as detailed here: https://discussions.apple.com/thread/4505509).
    3) Copy 'SystemVersion.plist' to your Desktop, and then rename the copy to 'SystemVersionNEW.plist'.
    4) Using TextEdit, open this copy of the file, and change the system version listed under the 'ProductUserVisibleVersion' and 'ProductVersion' fields to something lower than 10.9 (I used 10.7, but I suspect anything lower than 10.9 would work).
    5) Save the file on the Desktop.
    6) Copy your newly edited 'SystemVersionNEW.plist' into the System/Library/CoreServices directory.
    7) At this point, run App Store. Leave it at its initial welcome screen, which today is showing the big 'OS X Mavericks' banner at the top.
    8) Now go back to your Finder window(s), rename the original file to 'SystemVersionOLD.plist', and rename 'SystemVersionNEW.plist' to 'SystemVersion.plist', effectively replacing the original file with your edited version.
    * Note here that in order to rename the original 'SystemVersion.plist' file, you will probably have to edit its Sharing and Permissions settings by Control-clicking on it, selecting 'Get Info', scrolling down to the bottom of the info window, clicking the lock icon, entering your password, and then changing all the entries in the 'Sharing and Permissions' window just above the lock icon from 'Read Only' to 'Read & Write'. (Once you finish the process and your download has started, you can go back and change permissions back to 'Read Only'.)
    9) Go back to App Store and click on the OS X Mavericks banner (if you don't see the OS X Mavericks banner at the top of the window, just do a search for 'Mavericks' and click on 'OS X Mavericks' when it comes up in the search results). If everything has worked as it did for me, you'll now see a 'Free Download' button, instead of 'Download'. Click it, then click 'Install' and your download should begin.
    10) As soon as the download appears on your Launchpad with a progress bar, you can go back to Finder, delete 'SystemVersion.plist", and rename 'SystemVersionOLD.plist' to 'SystemVersion.plist', replacing your edited version with the original.
As always, it's a good idea to be careful when editing system files, and make backups before changing anything.
Note that you must have App Store running already before renaming the original 'SystemVersion.plist' file; if you make the change in step 8 and then try to run App Store, it will throw an error and won't start.

  • Unable to redownload a previous purchased Click Wheel game?

Hello there, I currently own a iPod Nano 5th Generation and I've just recently purchased 2 games from the App Store for my iPod. When I sync'd my iPod for the 2 new games I just purchased, I found that I lost my "Bomberman" game which I bought for £4 couple months ago. I've had to re-sync the games as its connected to a different computer. Now I have my 2 new games, but lost my "Bomberman" game? I have tried to follow the support instructions on "How to redownload deleted apps" and when I "Check for Availible Downloads", it just says nothing is availible for download. Even if I try to "rebuy" the app, it says I've already purchased and askes "Do I want to re-buy it?" Ofcourse not, I've already paid for it once and certainly not twice, and it doesn't offer to let me to redownload it. So is there anyway I can get my game back please?
    Thanks alot in advance,
    Anthony.

So is there anyway I can get my game back please?
Click here and ask. The free redownloading capability doesn't apply to iPod click wheel games.

  • HT201272 Music not downloading properly, unable to redownload

Some of the songs on a recently purchased album did not download properly and I was not able to re-download them because they are not in the cloud. What can I do?

By not in the cloud do you mean that the album doesn't show in the Purchased link under Quicklinks on the right-hand side of the iTunes store homepage for redownloading, or that it shows there (possibly under the 'all' heading, not 'not in my library') but doesn't have the cloud symbol for redownloading ? If the latter then try deleting the problem tracks from your iTunes library and they should then get the cloud symbol against those tracks in songs view in the Purchased link.
If you aren't in a country where you can re-download music or if that album doesn't show then try the 'report a problem' page to contact iTunes Support : http://reportaproblem.apple.com
If the 'report a problem' link doesn't work then you can try contacting iTunes support via this page : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/- click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Purchases, Billing & Redemption

  • Using Mavericks OS, purchased program through App Store of which had problems with current OS, therefore deleted program with intent on reinstalling same from App Store, I am unable to redownload this program because it is greyed out and shows installed.

Purchased application in App Store (Opus Domini). Did not play will with OS X Mavericks. Deleted program to re-download from App Store. However my list of purchases shows this program as installed and is greyed out. Need to re-download. Have talked with company and they are working on an update for OS however this will take some time.
    Thanks.

An app is considered to be installed if it shows up in a Spotlight search of local volumes. Bring up a search window in the Finder by pressing the key combination command-F. Search This Mac for the name of the application. Delete all copies that are found.

  • Unable to redownload an app from the Purchases tab - button not working

    Hi!
I've emailed apple support but they weren't much help - a while ago the option to update Acorn 4 appeared under Updates (along with some other apps, which updated fine) - when I tried to update Acorn, I got an error message.
I talked to Flying Meat software on twitter, and they said I should completely remove the app (which I did, using AppCleaner) - and now it's appearing at the top of the Purchases tab, but the button to install it has no text on it, and doesn't do anything when I click it.
    Any ideas?
I'm running the latest version of Moutain Lion.

  • Toy story toons unable to redownload

    Hi
I bought two toy story toons short movie Small Fly and Hawaiina Vacation during iTune 12 Days of Christmas sale.
Now I try to redownlaod it again into my iPhone/iPad it does not work, and if I try to "insttall" it thrugh iTune, it said cannot be copied.
Does anyone else has the same problem?
Both movie is in my compuer.
    Thanks and Regards,
    Stephen

I cannot help you other than to say I have exactly the same problem and have been trying to resolve it for over an hour now with no luck.
Besides unplugging and replugging in my ATV I have also tried:
    - resetting my password to the same thing
    - resetting my password to something else
    - creating a new Apple ID and trying to use it
    None of this works.
At this point I am guessing that Apple's servers are hosed and the error message is just incorrect. Hopefully they will fix the problem at their end over the weekend.
And yes. Holy crap this is frustrating is putting it mildly.
It amazes me that just a few hours ago I was playing with FaceTime and thinking very positively of Apple, but now I'm just ****** at what is clearly a screw up on their part.
