Unable to reinstall NW JAVA 700SP14 after attempted unistall

I was receiving an error on loading sapstartsrv.exe file last week on my local install of the J2EE server (Windows XP Pro) and attempted to uninstall the server and start from scratch. I received the following error and now when I try to reinstall I get the message consistently regardless of new install or continue from previous install.

I have gone through my laptop and tried to remove all references to the instance so I am at a loss now what would be driving the install to the 'E:' drive. Anyone else have this issue or any thoughts how to get the server reinstalled successfully?

It's possible that the flash storage is damaged, but first, see if it's working properly. After starting in Internet Recovery, open Disk Utility and tell me if you see Macintosh HD in the sidebar. If so, go to Macintosh HD, open Erase tab and erase the disk. Finally, close Disk Utility and reinstall OS X.
If you don't see it, see if the flash storage appears at the top of the sidebar. If so, choose it, go to Erase tab and erase it. Then, reinstall OS X.
If you don't see the flash storage in Disk Utility or your Mac is in warranty, take it to an Apple Store or reseller

All disk verifications ran with "system seems to be ok".
However, when I go to reinstall os x Mavericks, I get an error that says "OS X Mavericks cannot be installed on this computer"

Once all of the available uninstallers have been run you will then want to rerun the CC Cleaner Tool. I ran the sfc /scannow command, and yes the response was: Windows Resource Protection could not start with the repair service.
A broken Windows Modules Installer then. It's a bit of an involved fix getting past it, but we've had success here with it in the past.
First, I'd strongly suggest setting up a system restore point.
Now try the Scenario III treatment from the following document:
Windows Update Error 80070424 in Vista
Head back into Windows Update and attempt to get updates again. If they still fail, this time with an 8000FFFF error code, try the following Microsoft document:
Windows Update error 8000FFFF
If you get Windows Updates flowing again, stock up on any you're behind on (restarting the PC when requested to do so). This may take some time and may have to be done in several batches, depending on how far you've fallen behind. Basically, keep going back to Windows Update until it stops offering you new updates.
After the updates have been installed, restart the PC one more time (in order to ensure that any pending installs requiring a restart have been resolved).
Now try another iTunes install. Does it go through without the 0x80070424 this time?

I am currently running iTunes 10 on my MacBook right now because it was my only option to get iTunes back on my MacBook. Everything is fine with syncing my device but the only problem I keep encountering is the restoring and updating options. When I restore my device it tells me that It could not be restored at this time. When I update it, iTunes tells me that it cannot complete the current build. I know for a fact I am missing some files that were deleted when I attempted the downgrade. Anybody know what files I am currently missing that is causing this?

I have the same problem. Something happened during the download and froze iTunes. After spending three days searching these forums with the dead iPad, the only thing I got to work was to try downloading iOS 5 using my sons computer. This worked. The key to all this is to click on/select/highlight the Album that you have created in Local Albums.
Then make sure that the Sort By: (in the row below the highlighted "Media" header is set for Album Order.
You should see a number at the top left of each of thumbnails.
Then, click on the thumbnail that you want to move, hold down the click, and drag the thumbnail to the wanted new location
in the line up of thumbnails.
Often I had to press down hard on the drag.
Please let us know if that worked for you.
Also, in Edit Menu/Preferences/Keyword Tags and Albums/Enable Manual Sorting Options, I set all for manual.

We have an SAP ECC 6.0 system with ABAP+JAVA components. Now there are some issue with our Java comp. and I'm unable to start the JAVA engine. As we have done little configuration on JAVA side we are planning to reinstall the JAVA part alone.
1)Can we uninstall the the JAVA Component alone from the ABAP+JAVA Central instance?(Without affecting the ABAP Part)
2)Can we install a new JAVA addin in our existing ABAP+JAVA system?
3)If yes; is there any special steps appart from the master guide "4.4.2 Installing the Java Add-In for an Existing ABAP System" ?

We have done a Homogeneous system copy from our DEV system to QA system(SAP ECC 6.0 ABAP+JAVA with Oracle 10g)
Our issue is we are unable to connect the VA it shows "Unable to lookup connection default".
We've noticed that the Instance ID in our config tool still shows the DEV Instance ID and the Instance.properties files shows the QA system instance ID.

1)We are suspecting this issue is related to the theme issue.How to update the theme in the upgraded portal(have a backup of themes)
2)Want to know if we update a theme where it stored at the operating system level(in NW 7.3 EHP1 as well as NW 7.0)
3)Is there any post steps after portal upgrade.

Receiving error message: java.lang.Exception: Attempted to use a 5.0 DataSource outside of a 2.3 Servlet
The application worked fine with 2.2 servlet version and data source 4.0
But i need to add some filter in web.xml so
I changed the servlet version in my web.xml from
<!DOCTYPE web-app PUBLIC "-//Sun Microsystems, Inc.//DTD Web Application 2.3//EN" "http://java.sun.com/dtd/web-app_2_3.dtd"> to
<!DOCTYPE web-app PUBLIC "-//Sun Microsystems, Inc.//DTD Web Application 2.2//EN" "http://java.sun.com/j2ee/dtds/web-app_2_2.dtd">
and created a data source version 5 in websphere server 6.0.0.1
After that it is throwing the above mentioned error. pls help me on this.
