Hi all,
I'm not able to release my activities for transport.
I get this error in NWDS when I rightclick my activity and choose "Release":

I tried via the cms tool. This tool returns an error message:

Hi Ervin,
We are still facing the same problem.
At the moment there is no time to investigate this problem.
In our case this track contains only 3 portal apps, so we are deploying these applications manually.

  • Unable to release transport request because of control program tp

I have create a customized transaction type as a copy of urgent correction SDHF. I am not able to release the transport requests using the action in the toolbox 'Release Transport Request' and I obtain the following error in the log:
could not start transport control program tp
But if I directly execute the task 'Release Transport Request' in the task list, it works.
Another strange thing is that at the beginning both ways worked, but after some days I started to have this problem.
    Thanks
    Antonello

I did not find any note about this error.
    Someone can help me?
    Thanks.

  • Unable to release transports.

We have started to upgrade one of systems to a 64bit OS. When it was first put in it we used 32bit windows 2003 now we have started to upgrade to 64bit windows 2003. I upgraded the development server and SAP on Friday and everything tested ok but when I got in on Monday no one can release transports. When I run 'Check transport tool' I get this error-
    timeout during allocate / CPIC-CALL: 'ThSAPCMRCV' : cmRc=20 thRc=456#Time
out during connection setup (check that partner exists
I don't think this is to do with the upgrade but I can't find a solution. Can anyone help.

The transport route is setup correctly and the users transports are correct.
The error seems to be a communications issues but its strange. The production server is the transport domain controller and from the development server I can read production and test queue but not its own. I get this error when it trys to read the queue-
Could not start transport control program tp
RFC error: timeout during allocate / CPIC-CALL:
    'ThSAPCMRCV'
    And this error in SM21-
Communication error, CPIC return code 020, SAP return code 456
    > Conversation ID: 02627010
    > CPI-C function: CMSEND(SAP)
Tp call failed (RFC RC = 4: RFC message = timeoutduringallocate/CPIC-CALL:'ThSAPCMRCV':
And the error I have listed earlier when the check transport tool is run.

    Dear Rajesh,
1.Did you released the Task of the request in satellite system?
2.What error you get when you check inside the task list of that correction.
Please give inputs, which will help us in solving the issue faster.
    Thanks and Regards,
    Avinash.

  • Unable to release transport request for modified Planning book from Dev Sys

    Hi All
    can someone advice on this:
We have included a new key figure to our existing Planning book, which is already defined in Planning Area. This key figure is just getting shipping data for comparison and is not having any impact on macros also. We inserted key figure and set the attributes as output only and all looks good in Development system. But when we created transportation request and trying to release request it is giving error "Test Call of transport control program (tp) ended with return code 0208" Message no: TK094
can any one advice on this
    KV

    Hello,
Please check with Basis team. I think this is not related to planning book that you are trying to export. A look in the message text gives the following:
    Check the following points:
Feasibility of the transport control program tp
Parameter settings in the transport profile
Availability of the transport directory and the subdirectories (cofiles, data, log, sapnames, bin)
    Write authorization for the subdirectories
Write authorization for the files of the subdirectories cofiles, data, log, sapnames
Release the request again when the error has been removed.
    Hope this helps.
    Warm regds,
    Ashutosh

  • Unable to release transport request

I tried to release a request, but when I execute se10, below will have information stated "global information cannot be read", then when I need to release the main request, it will give me the message "Cannot access file

    Message no. PU814
    Diagnosis
    Access to the file
    swisapfs01\sapmnt\trans\tmp\DEVE900004.DEV is not permitted.
The operating system registered the following errors:
    Permission denied"
I already granted necessary authorization, anything that had been missed out?

    Hi,
You need to login to SAP system.
Type transaction code AL11. A list of parameters will be displayed.
Locate the following parameters DIR_TRANS and DIR_PUT
Against those parameters some values must be placed which will tell you whats your trans directory and put directory.
    Hope this helps.

  • [SOLVED] Rad 7790+Catalyst = Error: unable to open display (null)

Radeon HD 7790 + Catalyst = Error: unable to open display (null)
    Greetings,
I've installed Arch 2 days ago(migrated from Fedora), but I'm still a newbie to linux, so please have patience.
I've bought AMD Radeon HD 7790 recently and decided that it's time to upgrade system, but since then I had only problems with it. No LiveCD I tried (Fedora 20, Mint)  worked properly in graphics mode, so I suspected problem in built-in drivers and moved to linux with text-only installation (Arch), so I could install drivers later.
I've followed wiki manual and installed catalyst, removed open source driver, added nomodeset parametr to GRUB etc. but I'm still stucked, because Xorg won't start(black screen and errors presented in Logs). Tried googling, but learned nothing except Radeon proprietary drivers are comparable to suicide.

I've managed to solve this error:
(EE) AIGLX error: failed to open /usr/X11R6/lib64/modules/dri/fglrx_dri.so, error[/usr/X11R6/lib64/modules/dri/fglrx_dri.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
There was missing library and few directories, which I found according to this http://www.reddit.com/r/archlinux/comme … _correctly at /usr/lib/dri, so I had to just symlink it. However, "unable to open display" error is still annoying me and Xorg is not working.
EDIT: Found EE about missing commands in new Xorg.0.log and installed xterm to solve this. Now I don't have entirely black screen after startx. There is white rectangular terminal and fglrxinfo seems to be all right as it detected my Radeon and OpenGL. Now I have to install some DE, but that's another story. Marking as [SOLVED] and once again thanks to clfarron4 for reply.

  • PROBLEM IN RELEASING TRANSPORT REQUEST THROUGH SE10

    Dear all,
I am trying to release transport request of development server via. transaction se10.Now my problem is that the child(DEVELOPMENT/CORRECTION) is getting released while the parent request is not getting released.
I checked everything and its showing 'test call of transport control program ended with return code 0208.' I even checked overview of system, overview of connection type, over view of transport protocol and they are fine.my only doubt is after going to se10 when I click transport proposals its showing "WORK FLOW NOT ACTIVE' .
Is my problem is because of this. Please help its very urgent as due to this I am not even able to transport any request on production server.
Helpful contribution will be duly rewarded.
    Thanks & Regards,
    VICKY

    hi
vicky just went through your Query regarding release
of requests..first of all U be sure of TMS configuration
see whether it is consistent or not.then after Refresh
the system and then come to release of requests.
its true that we can transport through scc1 but first
check about STMS configuration and the way you set
    that.

  • Unable to release space from table

    Hi all,
We are unable to release space from a table called TST03 even after deletion of records.
    Followings are the information.
    Database     : 9.2
    Table Name      : TST03
    Tablespace     : LOCALY MANAGED.
Previously there were lots of rows.
At Present only 9 No of Rows.
    Space allocated     : 41 GB
    PCT_INCREASE     : Null
One of the column is of LONG RAW type.
Since the table is in LMTS, we were expecting that the space allocated will be released automaticaly after deletion of records.
Now, what are the option left with us to release 41GB of space ?
    A. Is there any effect of "Drop storage" option of 'Truncate table' command ?
    B. If yes , can i copy all the 9 rows to a new table, then use "Truncate table TST03 drop storage", check if space is released and then copy back all the 9 rows to this table.
    C. Do you have any other easy solution apart from export/import ?
    D. Checked all the relevant Note(646681,48400,10551), could not find an easy solution. I  want to avoid offline export/import option.
    Thanks .

Sorry, but that is not what LMTS is for. Wrong assumption.
MaxDB e.g. returns space immediately - Oracle does not.
    > Now, what are the option left with us to release 41GB

    > A. Is there any effect of "Drop storage" option of
    > 'Truncate table' command ?
Yes, the effect is, that after the truncate the table is empty and  only one extent is allocated - the rest is returned to freespace. That's the DEFAULT behaviour of TRUNCATE TABLE.
    > B. If yes , can i copy all the 9 rows to a new table,
    > then use "Truncate table TST03 drop storage", check
    > if space is released and then copy back all the 9

Nope - you would have to copy the LONG RAW columns as well and this cannot be done easily from sqlplus.
    > C. Do you have any other easy solution apart from
    > export/import ?
Nope again - you'd have to use this offline reorganisation as long as you're not on Oracle 10g and the long raw fields got converted into LOBs. With 10g you might also use the SHRINK table command. But with Oracle 9i - sorry: exp and imp (will be pretty fast for 9 rows...)
    > D. Checked all the relevant Note(646681,48400,10551),
    > could not find an easy solution. I  want to avoid
    > offline export/import option.
Sorry - no way to avoid it and still get the free space back.
Anyhow you might want to take actions to prevent this situtation from reoccuring.

  • User status for establishing release functionality for new activity.

    Hi Experts
My intention is to stop business transactions to a newly included activity in a released project.
I wish a release for the specific activity before allowing business transactions.
For this purpose i have created an user status z0001 as shown below:
    10     new     New     10     20     1     1
    20     rel     Released     20     20     1     1
But, i am unable to trigger this for only activity that is newly assigned for the newly included activity.
Is there any means to get thje desired functionality?

  • Function module related to release transport request

    Hello experts,
I am working on product management system hierarchy. The hierarchy is like
      PRODUCTSSUBPRODUCTVERSIONPACKAGE
we can create transport for VERSION directly from CONTEXT MENU. Next step is download transport to client PC I have done with it. FInal stage to release transport directly from context menu. For this i am searching for appropriate function module. If anybody know which function module to be used for transport request release please share it with me.
    Thanks,
    Avadhut

    Hi,
You can use TR_RELEASE_REQUEST to release a transport request directly.
The class CL_CTS_REQUEST is also worth looking at.

  • Function Module to identify released transports

    Hi,
We required one function module or table where we can find the released transports in target system.
Suppose if we release one transport in developement, before importing to target system  i want to identify the released trasport details in test system.
    Thanks in advance
    Raju

    First Thanks for your replies
Actually we required one way (function moudle or table) to find the released trasnports in target system.
As i explained earlier, suppose if i releae one request in development system, we want to find the that released transport test system, before importing to test system.
    Thnaks,
    Raju

  • Releasing transport request taking long time

    Hi All,
I am releasing transport request in SE09, for releasing child request it was taking long time and for parent request taking much more long time.
In SM50, i didn't find any processes running.
Can anyone tell me the solution.
    Thanks & Regards
    Uday

    Hi Uday,
    >> I am releasing transport request in SE09, for releasing child request it was taking long time and for parent request taking much more long time.
You didn't note what release your are running on, but you can check the note 1541334 - Database connect takes two minutes
    >> In SM50, i didn't find any processes running.
It is normal, because the system exports the transport request by "tp" command at the OS level, after TMS complete its job on a DIALOG wp.

  • Problem of calling BAPI to release transport request

    Dear Friends,
I want to automatically release Transport Request using BAPI (BAPI_CTREQUEST_RELEASE), but I met a difficult during the process that only TR TYPE 'K'or 'W' can be release using this BAPI, if I create an addon program which TR Type is 'S' (stand for Development/Correction), then this BAPI does not work.
BTW, you can refer table E070.
Could you please kindly give me some idea to solve this problem?
    Thank you in advance.
    Best regards,
    Nick

    Dear Li Nick,
The reason that you cannot release a request of type 'S' is that type 'S' names a local correction, which cannot not be transported (and therefore of course not released).
