Unable to remove product from My Support Profile

Good Evening. I have an iPhone 4S. I will be giving this phone to a family member. I have followed Apples on-line instructions on What to do before selling or giving away your iPhone. (phone has been re-set to factory settings and removed from iCloud). I then visited the Apple My Support Profile page, it listed the iPhone 4S and the Serial Number. I then clicked on Remove Product but this function does not appear to be working (the status indicator just keeps spinning). I need to be able to remove this from my profile. Any suggestions? Thanks so much (note: for some reason, I was not able to post this under iPhone community?)

If that happened to me, I would try the following series of steps:
Connect your iPhone to iTunes. Go to the iPhone's Music tab in iTunes. Uncheck the "Sync Music" so the music will not be synced. Click "Apply" in the lower right.
The previous step should have removed all music from your iPhone. But you will probably find the old songs/albums remaining behind. Delete them from your iPhone.
Check the "Sync Music" box in iTunes again and "Apply" again. That should reload all music from iTunes to your iPhone and solve the issue.

Unable to remove iLivid from Firefox because Firefox will not launch.

I am attempting to remove iLivid from my computer. It has hijacked my browser. I removed it from IE and Chrome; however, I am unable to remove it from Firefox because it will not launch. How can I remove this "thing" from Firefox if it will not launch???? I used the shortcut on the taskbar, the icon on my desk top and also the navigation menu. None will launch Firefox.

How to add a product to my support profile?

I have an iPhone and Macbook Pro. When I looked at my Support Profile, I just saw the iPhone registered. When trying to add the serial number of my MBP, it asks me the exact date of purchase. I really can't remember exactly when I bought it ( I just can remember the month , not the day). What should I do?

How to remove LexSleeperX from the system profiler?

I installed a Lexmark printer on my macbook pro and everytime I startup my mac I get this error message. I deleted the printer but I still get this error message. I looked in the system profiler but I am unable to delete it from there. How do I remove this error message my mac?

Here are the steps:
1. Go to Mac HD > Library > StartupItems.
2. Look for "LexSleeperX.app" and drag it to the trash.
3. Make sure the file is no longer present on the StartupItems folder.
4. Restart your mac.
5. The message should no longer appear.

Unable to remove delegates from calendar:

While removing delegates from calendar error is generated "The Delegates settings were not saved correctly. Cannot activate send-on-behalf-of list.You do not have sufficient permission to perform this operation on this object."

I found a fix for this. The mentioned user that was added as delegate
missed send on behalf of permission on mailbox, Re-adding permissions and then removing this from delegate
got this fixed. Thanks All!

Missing products at "Apple Support Profile"

I just logged into the new "Apple Support Profile" site and only my two most recent Apple product purchases are listed. My three macs, and various other products (totaling 9, iPhones, iPods, airport, etc.) are not listed. Why?
I've used the same apple username and account for years. And each item was registered immediately after purchase.

As the name of the page implies - support profile - I would think that the only products needing to be listed there are products that need repair/support? The product registration page is elsewhere.

Link to remove Product from Cart in Product list/detail views

I'm wondering if it would be possible to construct a link/button to remove a product from the cart (assuming it's in the cart) from within the product list or detail views.
Much like the 'remove' link on the shopping cart page.
Anyone done this or have any ideas as to how it might be done?

I was messing around with it and figured it out.
I changed the onclick value ...false to ...true.
Apparently this allows the href value to be used after the onclick function has run. Here's the jquery i used to make the change.
$(linkA).attr('onclick',$(linkA).attr('onclick').replace('false','true'));

Why do I not see all my registered products in my support profile?

When I log into my support profile, I can only see 2 of my products listed... and I really needed info on one that was not shown in the list... BUT when I submitted the SN again, it says that the product had already been registered.... How do I see ALL of my registered products?

I have the same issue. Products I registered more than 3-4 years ago do not appear on the support profile and when I check the SN I get the message that the products are already registered to another Id.
Since I first registered these products, I have changed the country associated with my apple-Id . I wonder if that may be the issue.

Organisation Browser - how do I remove it from the My Profile pages

Is there a way to remove the Organisation Browser from the 'My Profile' page? Our AD is not
exactly the same as our HR database (long story...), and we don't want to be displaying incorrect information in Sharepoint.

According to your description, my understanding is that you want to hide the Organization tab on My Profile page and the My Organization Chart web part.
I recommend to follow the steps below to hide the Organization tab on My Profile page:
Go to Site Settings of My Site and then click Quick launch under Look and Feel.
Click the Edit button before Organization and click Delete.
To hide the My Organization Chart web part, click the web part menu and then click Close to hide the web part.

Netflix problem using Firefox 9.0.1 (mac), unable to remove items from queue but I can from Safari. Anyone had this problem? Talked to Netflix they can remove items on their end.

iMac OS 10.5.8, 2.66 GHz, 4gb memory. I've tried with adblock on and off. I use HTTPS Everywhere.
Netflix suggested it might be a browser issue and to try Safari. I was able to remove items from queue using Safari.

Addendum: The .jpg file, below, shows the netflix popup I get when trying to delete a video.

RMAN - Unable to remove archivelogs from catalog

I have missing archivelogs and want to remove them from caltalog. The controlfile is beeing used as catalog. I have done the following:
CROSSCHECK ARCHIVELOG ALL;
-For the missing archivelogs RMAN output is "validation failed for archived log".
DELETE FORCE EXPIRED ARCHIVELOG ALL;
-output says:
deleted archive log
archive log filename=/an/log/autonar/archive/1_317009_555884131.dbf recid=5088 stamp=685099967
Deleted 1 EXPIRED objects
However the command does not remove the logs from catalog.
LIST ARCHIVE LOG ALL; still shows the above archive logs.
Next, i tried:
CHANGE ARCHIVELOG like '%317009%' UNCATALOG;
And the result is the same:
uncataloged archive log
archive log filename=/an/log/autonar/archive/1_317009_555884131.dbf recid=5088 stamp=685099967
Uncataloged 1 objects
But i can still see the files in the catalog.
Why is this happening? Anyone had problems like this?

The problem is in the controlfile. I'm not using the database catalog, just the controlfile.
However, I did try registrating the database on rman catalog. But the results are the same when i execute above mentioned commands.
I also tried manually removing rows from the catalog table (RMAN.AL table). This does remove the enteries from the catalog, but not from the control file. So after the next resync, the catalog gets the information back from the controlfile and i'm back to beginning. :(

I removed registration of a product on one Apple ID, and am trying to register under another. After removing product from profile, I log into the other account and try to add. It says it's already registered. How do I get all products on one ID?

Does anyone know how to consolidate all products that I own under one Apple ID? I have removed registration, but when I try to re-register the SN, it says it's already associated to another Apple ID.

Your best bet would be to try resetting the password to the account that you would like to use via iForgot
Once you log in to that account change the email address to anything, it can even be fake its just a placeholder
After you do that you will be free to change your old email address on your appleID to the new one that is now free to be used as it is no longer attached to the other account.

Help - unable to remove ipad from icloud device list

I am trying to erase/remove my IOS7 ipad mini from my iCloud account, as I am selling the device.
I have been able to use the iCloud - Find my iPhone function to sucessfully erase the ipad mini. I did this using the browser interface to www.icloud.com from a PC.
I then try to 'remove' the 'erased' ipad and I am getting a recurring :- 'There was a problem sending your request to your device' error in the iCloud, Find my iPhone browser screens.
The device has sucessfully been erased and even if I repeat the device setup and re-associate it with my icloud ID. I get the same problem as above. Furthermore if I try to disassociate from icloud on the device itself by selecting the > general > reset > reset all content and settings option. I am asked for my iCloud login as part of this and I get an error that the device cant connect to iCloud - or something similar.
Any ideas how I get around this, as I basically have an orphaned ipad entry (albeit erased - so none of my data is on it), associated with my iCloud account and I dont want this - obviously..
