Unable to remove the Set Type assignment to product Hierarchy

I have created a set type and assigned to a product hierarchy.
Now I want to undo the assignment as this has been inherited by the lower level hierarchies.
Can anyone suggest how to remove this.

Hi,
Management is thinking for implementing New G/L in my Company and we have to prepare the presentation for that. I am not sure of few points though I have searched already but unable to find out anything which clears my doubts which are as follows:
1) Can we implement new G/L In-house or do we have to get it done from external sources or SAP only?
2) Can we achieve IFRS and GAAP reporting through segment reporting in house or not. Does that require any other cost as we are already on ECC6.0 but new g/l is not activated?
3) Is it mandatory to get the Data Migration done from SAP or can we do it In-house as well?
4) If one knows the approx. cost if we get it done from external sources at each point on in total at all the above mentioned points?
5) Is it so that partially we can do it and partially we need to take the help of the external sources?
Please reply asap.

My problem is, is that I have backed it up, but am unable to remove the message, and whilst the message is there, the iPad is frozen, and I cannot do anything.
Has any other user had such a problem, and if so, how did they rectify it.

Try this.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up

When trying to install itunes on my PC, I get the message (unable to remove the older version of Bonjour as well as the message unable to remove the older version of Apple software update). Please advise how to proceed.

Its the same as any other laptop, pull away the side latches and the module will lift up.
If that doesn't work, the mechanism may be broken requiring repair at an ASP.

Add set type COMM_PR_SHTEXT to product type Service

Hi anyone,
I am trying to add the set type COMM_PR_SHTEXT into a category typed "Service".
I am using the transaction COMM_HIERARCHY.
The problem is when I try to adding the set type (COMM_PR_SHTEXT) doesn't appears it in the matchcode to be selected.
Does anyone knows any solution ?

Hello,
It is possible to add the settype to a single category within a Product Hierarchy per product type.
Also, child categories will inherit this assignment by default.
So, looks like settype COMM_PR_SHTEXT has already been assigned to a category within that
hierarchy for that product type.
You can check this out using table COMC_SETTYPE and COMM_CATFRGR.
So, solution would be to remove the assignment of settype from other category within that hierarchy and re-assigning to the required category. But this is not allowed, if there already exists data for that category.
Other option is try to create new category under the parent category to which that settype is already assigned, so that new category can inherit the settype.

How can I remove the 'Qty' text from individual product descriptions?

I didn't know if this was possible or not... I've recently taken the reins of handling an ecommerce site that had been published before I got on board. My boss wants me to remove the 'Qty:' description from some products because the image shown for some products is a misleading description of the actual quantity available (i.e. there is a picture that shows a stack of conveyors parts, and it says 'Qty: 1' to represent one 'stack' of conveyor parts - this confuses customers into thinking there's only one individual conveyor part available however). To avoid any confusion he requested that I remove the 'Qty' text from similar images. I see that you can change the 'In Stock' amount of a particular product underneath the 'Inventory' tab of the 'Products' menu, but I didn't know if it was possible just to remove the quantity description altogether without just typing the quantity in at zero. This is likely a strange question but I didn't know where else to ask! I would appreciate any help or advice Thank you

I just figured out a way to do it, but it's a little weird and complex, and I have no idea what the consequences for editing this .plist string might be. I'm thinking it'll be OK, but you never know what might happen when you screw around with Apple's intentions.
So if you have the Developer Tools on your install of OS X, you can use the Property List Editor to edit the Dock files. (If you don't have this program, you can use a program like [Pacifist|http://www.charlessoft.com> to selectively install stuff from your Leopard disk).
The file you're interested in is within Macintosh HD > Users > Your Username > Library > Preferences, and it's called com.apple.dock.plist. Open that up with Property List Editor, and open the arrow drop-down next to "Root." The lines you're looking for are "persistent-apps" (the left side of your Dock) and "persistent-others" (the right side). If you open the drop-down arrows, you'll see there are numbers below each. The numbers correspond to your Dock items, from left to right.
If you click on drop-arrows by the numbers, a sample hierarchy looks like this: 0 > tile-data > file-label. It's the "file-label" string that you want to edit. Just make it ("it" being the name of the icon under the "value" column) blank, save the file, go into Terminal and type "killall Dock" without the quotes, and your Dock icon should appear without a name. You'll have to do this for all of them.
I should insert the usual caveats here about backing up beforehand and making sure that you have a copy of the .plist file before you start tweaking it so that you can replace it if things go wrong. And perhaps someone with more knowledge of Terminal or third-party apps than I have will come along and suggest a simpler solution. But that's the only one I have.

Can't find Set type when maintain Product Category in Local Scenarios

We use SRM7.0 in Local Scenarios. Just create local material.
Our developer made a 'Product Categories mass inport programme' , but for some unexpected reasons, we cann't check or edit original prodcuct categories. so I have to create new product category manually.
When i create prodcut , i get a error message ' Data cannot be maintained for set type COMM_PR_SHTEXT . ' So i wanna add set types 'COMM_PR_SHTEXT' to this product category. but i cann't find this set type in the list whiche ever exist !
which i can find in the list show below:

      COMM_PR_GTIN
      COM_COMMERCIAL
      COM_TA_R3_ID
      CRMM_PR_TAX

Unable to remove the redundant group header from the bottom of page

Hi,
In one of my projects in I am facing a problem.
I need to display the details of all available products of the company. While displaying the details, I need to group the products based on some criteria (like type of product, release date) and the grouping is upto 4 level grouping. Grouping criteria can se said as, I need to firstly group all the products based on the type, then on the Release Date and then on two of the client specific values on the Product.
Along with this, the view of product details is a thumbnail view (Image on top with all details below that line after line) due to which I need to display multiple (5) products in one row.
The problem which I am facing is:
The most important criterion for the customer is that there should not be any wastage of space.
Secondly, they also donu2019t want to see partial data like only the header data in one page and the Product related Data (Image and Info) on the next page.
In my case, when first page has insufficient space for the next grouped products, it simply displays the group header on the first page. On the second page, it again displays the group header along with the data.

My requirement is to remove the redundant group header from the first page as it does not make sense without having any data below it.
I have tried the following options:
1. I tried to apply setting "Keep Group Together" on the group and "Repeat Group Header On Each Page". But when I apply this, when my second group has more than 5 products (two rows of data) and space on first page can accommodate only 1 row of data, it moves the data on to the second page instead of keeping the 1st row on first page and 2nd on second page. This solution is not acceptable to the customer as it wastes space.
2. If I remove setting "Keep Group Together" on all the groups, but keep the "Repeat Group Header On Each Page" and remove the "Keep Object Together" in the details section, I can save space. But this is not acceptable to the user as it leaves dangling headers (Orphaned Header Information).
Need some pointers to overcome this issue as it is very critical for me.

These solutions provided on the link are not useful for me because of the peculiar layout of my report.
In my report I am supposed to show details of multiple items (upto 5/6) in a single row.
All solutions suggest about adding additional header (below group header) and use the formula to use that header to put the data for initial first object and details section for the subsequent objects.
But, since i need to display multiple items in same row...and data cannot be set as 'format with multiple columns' in the header, hence this solution does not work for me

Unable to extend the basic type "SALESORDER_CREATEFROMDAT202"

when iam trying to extend the IDOC basic type "SALESORDER_CREATEFROMDAT202" iam getting an error message "Action is not possiable for generated IDOC types"
To my understanding SALESORDER_CREATEFROMDAT202 is a bapi.So, I guess we can not extend these type of IDOC directly.
Can any one can help me how to copy the BAPI interface and extend it....
or any other solution for this......

the extenction is possiable in sap 4.6 version.
but it is not possiable in ecc6.
So follow the steps i have done
created a new basic type "ZSALESORDER_CREATEFROMDAT202"
where icopy the basic type "SALESORDER_CREATEFROMDAT202" to it
Then i extened the IDOC "ZSALESORDER_CREATEFROMDAT202"
and added the new segments.
FInally while assiging the basic type to extended IDOC given basic type as "SALESORDER_CREATEFROMDAT202"
And assigned to the message type "SALESORDER_CREATEFROMDAT2" to it
then we can use this Structure with
Message type: SALESORDER_CREATEFROMDAT2
Basic type: SALESORDER_CREATEFROMDAT202
Extended:SALESORDER_CREATEFROMDAT202EX
for data picking u can code in the followin function modules:
Function Module for Outbound ALE
ALE_SALESORDER_CREATEFROMDAT2
Function Module for Inbound ALE
IDOC_INPUT_SALESORDER_CREATEFR
There is another method also for this:
create a bapi fm with all the requirements and go to swo1 tc create an object with method as BAPI FM created.then go to TC bdbg and create a bapi ale interface.this will automatically generates the inbound and outbound FM's .Then the idoc will be generated with the added segments...

Unable to remove the USB cable

iPod nano ? generation w/ 8 GB, model A1236. Put on USB cable to charge from my computer. I'm not able to easily remove the cable from the iPod.
Any suggestions about how to do so?

Deriving the valuation type of a product automatically from raw material

Hello everyone,
I want to know if it is possible to make it such that a product gets its valuation type automatically according to the valuation type of the raw materials that go into its production. For instance:
Say, I have a product P1001, to produce 1 PC of which takes 3 KG of raw material R1001. P1001 has the valuation types PRD01 and PRD02 assigned, while R1001 has RAW01 and RAW02. I want P1001 to have PRD01 when the R1001 used for it has RAW01, but PRD02 when RAW02.
Is this at all possible? I was thinking maybe product cost collectors, production versions and BOMs could somehow be used for a workaround; except there is no apparent connection to valuation types in any of these.

Generally MRP consider stock from all the storage location when run the MRP for Plant level for material.
However we can exclude the particular storage location from MRP Run, for those following settings to be done.
Go to MRP-2 View of material master and select the storage location to be excluded from MRP. (Press Shift +f1 ex .sloc2) As per your case it should be RMSL
In that MRP view go to Storage location MRP Tab.
And assign u201CSLoc MRP indicator = 1 (Storage location stock excluded from MRP)u201Dand save.
Now run the MRP, stock from sloc2 will not be considered to create-planned order.
Please try this and revert back.

Removing the "This catalog has no products" message.

I have a hierarchy that has catalogs within a catalog that go to their own departments of products. On the main catalog page however, there's a message displaying that "This catalog has no products." I'm aware of that, it's intentional (in the future they may sell things other than courses), so how do I get rid of the error message?

Wendy, you just need to look at this, very easy:
{tag_productlist}
Lists the products in the current catalogue (Use {tag_productlist,u,v,w,x,y,z} where u is the number of products per row; v is the target frame, e.g. _blank or leave empty; w is the number of products per page (limit of 500 products per page); x is the sort type, e.g. Price, or Alphabetical; y allows you to hide empty message, e.g. 'this catalog has no products' and z is list type). Change: {tag_productlist,4} to {tag_productlist,4,,,,,true} to display as LI.
So you can see your options
{tag_productlist,u,v,w,x,y,z}
So you can see that Y is the option to hide the message.
Here is a working example
{tag_productlist,2,,,Weight,true,true}
2 items per row does not matter as the last option showing true turns the table layout into an li. The true before it hides the empty message.
You will note that I have Weight in the ordering.
While not documented you can use weight, weightreverse and date, datereverse here as well as price and althebetical ordering.
Very easy.
