Unable to reply to a specific discussion

Hello SCN-Team,
when I try to reply to the discussion The specified item was not found. I get the following error message (in a nice red font):
An error occurred while trying to submit your post. Please try again.
And when I switch to the advanced editor, it tells me:
Please enter a title.
I tried with a simple "Test"-entry and got those results, too. Maybe it has something to do with the subject line and some special characters in the title of the thread.

you could ping the OP Chaitanya Krishna, he is able to edit his own post. And he should actually be most interested to fix the situation since he wants an answer.
You know, if you get an email and reply to this email, then the software automatically adds a Re: in front of the subject line. And since the OP used all spaces in the subject line, the system is not able to add this Re: and hence nobody can give an answer.
Probably the tragedy of modern times, he may never had a chance to read a real newspaper to know the difference between a headline and the article.

No problem here with FF 3.0.12 on Windows XP.
There are definitely issues with the cookies and coordinating logout between Adobe and Jive servers. I've tried to remember to always log out and then back on again first thing each day.

Unable to connect to a specific database

Hi,
I have Oracle Client 9IR2 installed on my machine and I'm unable to connect to a specific Oracle9IR2 database on the network. I can connect to the same database if i log into another machine on the network with the same tnsnames.ora file. I can also connect to other databases on the network. All except the one in question.
The Error message received is :"Test Connection failed because of an error in initializing provider. ORA-12154: TNS: could not resolve service name."
Could you please help with probable solutions?

The tnsping command at command prompt just hangs..and so does SQL PLUS while trying to connect.I have to kill it. What's strange is that I can connect to other Oracle databases on the network and other clients on the network can connect to this database as well with the same tnsnames.ora file. Both the server as well as my machine belong to the same domain. Will try adding SID once I find out what the SID value should be.

I am having the same problem also Thought it was my network and reset everything including Apple TV but still the problem is there . I assume now it is down to iOS 8 prior to that was perfect

When you have a problem with one particular site, a good "first thing to try" is clearing your Firefox cache and deleting your saved cookies for the site.
(1) Bypass Firefox's Cache
Use Ctrl+Shift+r to reload the page fresh from the server.
(You also can clear Firefox's cache completely using:
orange Firefox button ''or'' Tools menu > Options > Advanced
On the Network mini-tab > Cached Web Content : "Clear Now")
(2) Remove the site's cookies (save any pending work first) using either of these:
While viewing a page on the site:
* right-click and choose View Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"
* Alt+t (open the classic Tools menu) > Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"
Then try reloading the page. Does that help?

it possible to contact Safari? or would Apple be the right contact?

You must be logged in to see the reply button (as well as post). It's in the lower right corner of each post.

Unable to reply or forward emails following Z10 update

Hi,
I am unable to reply or forward emails via my auth.smtp accounts on 1&1 following the update to 10.0.10.90. Ive tried resetting the email accounts and playing with the port settings to no avail. This is a major problem for me and makes the phone almost useless for my business use. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Unable to reply to emails after restoring profile

Hi BB Community,
I'm having problems with sending replies to emails on my Blackberry 8310. I can receive emails and send new emails, but I'm unable to reply to emails sent to me (there's no option). The only option I have is to draft a new email and send.
I've tried having service books resent, hard reset (handheld wipe) and at first it seemed to not have resolved the issue. After trying another hard reset and enterprise activation the second time without restoring my profile and third party apps, I had the option to reply to emails. However, doing the restore after the activation, doesn't restore my apps correctly and it causes the reply issue to reoccur.
My question is, how should I procede from here on? Should I just suck it up and re-download all my apps again instead of restoring, or is it possible (which I think is highly likely) that one of my apps is causing this issue, or could it even be something to do with how I've setup my Blackberry desktop?
Any input would greatly be appreciated.

I think your correct, one of your app is causing the issue. Once you restore, you have the problem again. I would re-download the apps not restore them from the BES. I think that's where your problem is coming from.

Still unable to reply in threads

Since they did the update to the forms a week or so ago, I am unable to post replies. I canstart new threads, but unable to reply. And now I cannot even sign in on the mobile site. Are they going to fix this?

Unable to reply and forward mail from discussion services in webcenter spac

I am Mustaque.
Currently i m working on oracle webcenter 11g. I am not able to reply and forward discussion topics from webcenter spaces. Its throwing error msg :
Failed to send the message with subject "Hi". Further information: 550 No verifiable sender address in message headers.
Will anybody help me?
