Unable to 'report a problem' with iTunes purchase

Hi all.
I have a Season Pass for Castle, Season 1 in the UK store. They have, as usual, been releasing the episodes for download approx 24 hours after transmission (yes, US readers we're THAT far behind you in being able to get this programme.). However, last week Channel 5 broadcast the final 2 episodes of season 1 back to back on the same night. Only one episode, episode 9, appeared in iTunes.
I thought I would use the 'report a problem' feature to ask if they're actually going to put the last one up to download, or if it's been forgotten. However, clicking the 'report a problem' link in My Account on any episode of Castle just opens the default Apple support webpage in Safari. If I use the link on any other purchase then I get the correct "Problem: Choose One" drop down within iTunes.
So, how can I ask a question of iTunes support about the currently missing episode if I can't use the "report a problem" link?

Doh. Didn't expect it to be that simple. I don't know why but I had it my head that they don't deal with iTunes store queries except via the in app reporting method.

  • Report a problem with iTunes purchase

I need to report a problem to Apple on a recent App purchase. After logging in to my account in iTunes, following the links to the purchase I want, the 'Report a Problem' link opens the iTunes Support link in my browser, where I see no place to get to the problem purchase and file a report. The links used to work in iTunes, as I have successfully reported a purchase problem in the past.
    Hope you can help!

how to report a problem with a purchase

What type of problem ? If you've been over-charged then you can contact iTunes support via this page : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Purchases, Billing & Redemption
If the item doesn't work, then depending upon the item type (app, ibook, music etc) then you might be able to re-download it via the Purchased tab in the App Store or iTunes store app : re-downloading . Music, films and tv shows can't be re-downloaded in all countries. If it's an app then you should also try contacting the app's developer before using the 'report a problem'
If you aren't in a country where you can re-download the item or if it re-downloads in the same state then try the 'report a problem' link from your purchase history : log into your account on your computer's iTunes via Store > View My Account (Store > View My Apple ID on iTunes 11) and you should then see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it ; click on that and you should see a list of your purchases ; find that item and use the 'Report a Problem' link and fill in details about the problem (iTunes support should reply within, I think, about 24 hours).
Some people have had a problem with the 'report a problem' link (it's been taking people to this site on a browser instead of showing a form in iTunes) - if it does that to you then try contacting iTunes support via this page : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/- click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page.

  • Problem with iTunes purchased track.  I purchased an album from the store and downloaded.  I contacted support as one track was defective and had this one track setup to re-download, which was successful.

I purchased an album with 11 tracks from the Store.  When the download was complete, I edited the name to make it easier for me to find. I then synced my iPod and iPad with the new album.  However I found that one of the tracks was defective and after writing to the support community, a second download was setup and this fixed the bad track.  I was surprised that when the track downloaded, it went to the track with the new name.  However it works perfectly on my computer.  For some reason, the iPod and iPad have synced a few times but the track for this album on these is the original track with the defect and this has not fixed, though there have been multiple times that it has synced. The laptop with its corrected track works fine.
The message from support told me to be sure that the software on my laptop was the current version and I did correct this before getting that corrected download.  However I notice that my iPod says that it has the latest version and won't check for an update until 2/24.
Can you help me figure this out.  I thought if I could delete this track off the iPod and iPad that it would sync the correct version, but I can't see how to delete these.
Thanks for any help you can offer.

Assuming you are in a region where you are allowed to redownload your past music purchases, delete the problem tracks from your iTunes library, close and then reopen iTunes, go to the iTunes Store home page, click the Purchased link from the Quick Links section in the right-hand column, then select Music and Not on this computer. You should find download links for your tracks there.
While downloading select Downloads in the left-hand column and make sure Allow Simultaneous Downloads is unticked.
If the problem persists, or that facility is not yet available in your region, contact the iTunes Store support staff through the "Report a problem" links in your account history, or via Contact Support.

  • HT204088 How do you report a problem with a purchase you did not authorize?

I have some unauthorized charges and when I click on "report a problem" on the bottom of the purchase history, it renews the page with "report a problem" next too all the purchases. When I click on one of those, it just takes me right back to the iTunes home page. Does anyone know how to do this please?

  • TS1424 Anyone have problems with iTune purchases and functions when overseas?

I am in Israel, been here for three weeks and had no problems with apps updates, purchases, etc.
suddenly it says that I cannot coplete transactions because PayPal is declining payments.
However a quick check with PayPal shows that my account is in order and it should NOT be a problem.
There is a suggestion that being in another country is related to the problem.
    Is this Possible ?

I have this exact problem.  Also affects any app that is using map services (like foursquare).  I've had Apple replace the phone (didn't help), had Verizon replace the SIM card (didn't help), and so I am still trying to solve this while Apple and Verizon point at each other and say that the other one is the problem.
Sorry no solution, but I hope one pops up here on this thread!

  • Problems with itunes purchases.

I'm having a problem with my Itunes. My computer recently crashed forcing me to reinstall everything I had. Well, I had all of my songs on my ipod, but when I went back into itunes this little box popped up. It told me that other users had the same connection or something and if I wanted to replace all my songs with this itunes. I said yes, thinking that it would let me keep all of my current songs. Well, it didn't. It erased them all and now they are gone. I can reload most of them becasue I have the cds, but what about the ones I bought on itunes? I have the receipts for everything I've ever bought, but how do get them back?? Need help fast!!! Thanks!

  • HELP!  Problems with iTunes purchased content authorization...

I have many computers and between the wife and myself we have a lot of music. I just recently upgraded my windows partition on the Mac Pro to Windows 7 64 bit. Everything works great with the exception of iTunes. For example I will double click on a song to begin and it will tell me that my computer is not authorized to play the song... I will fill out the form with user name and password it will then access the store and tell me that the computer was already authorized (I have 3 of the 5 authorized...) However it will not let me play the song... when I click it again the same annoying dialog box pops up??
Another issue I am having is that none of the videos play... for example if I click on a video (that it actually thinks is authorized) I just get a gray box where the video is supposed to be and no audio...
I have tried uninstalling and re-installing I even tried using a restore point. Any ideas?? Thanks. Matt.

  • Problem with iTunes purchase

I recently purchased a couple of albums from the iTunes store. They downloaded and installed to my iTunes directory, but do not show up in my music library on my ipod. Any one out there have any idea what I need to do to get them to into my ipod library? Thanks in advance for your help.

    Hi marlin 45/70,
    Welcome to Apple Discussions.
Since you've purchased the songs, I will assume that you computer is Authorized to play ITMS content.
If the files aren't in you iTunes Music Library then go to where your music folder is stored on your hard drive and locate the files in the that directory of folders.
You should just be able to drag the files into iTunes and use them.
If you can't find the files then look in your recycle bin in case you've accidentally deleted them (iTunes music is only moved to the recycle bin when deleted in iTunes, you have to empty the bin to complete that process.
If you find the files in your Music folder just add them to iTunes, if there in the recycle bin move them to the desktop an add them to your iTunes library.
If you get stuck post another message.
    Kind Regards,
    Peter.

  • Problems with iTunes purchase/support

I purchased the Matrix trillogy last night, and did not have time to download all of the content before I went to bed. I woke up this morning I tried to download the content, but iTunes is saying that I only purchased the first Matrix. I tried to contact support and was successful the first time. After that first contact (no response yet), I decided to try to puchase the trillogy anyway (it is cheaper that buying the remianing two movies), and iTunes will not allow me to purchase the trillogy now.
If I try to contact support now, I get a popup dialog that takes control of the window and does not respond to user input(close, no and yes buttons do not respond). The only way to do anything in the browser after that point is to back up or close the window.
    Any advice?
    Harlow

  • I can't 'report a problem' with my purchases, how can i fix that?

i did not mean to buy a book thing from newstand and it says i purchased 3 items i do not want how can i get my money back?

All purchases are final (after all, you can't exactly return them as you would a physical object). If you contact iTunes Support and ask them very nicely it's just possible that they may agree to refund you as a one-off concession, but please remember that they are under absolutely no obligation to do so. Go to https://expresslane.apple.com ; select 'iTunes' in the first column and then 'iTunes Store' in the second column
