Unable to require passcode after 1 minute
Hi, instead I set up "Require Passcode" option to 1 minute, my iPhone doesn't require passcode even after 5 minutes. Please help to solve!
hi Tanisha, I returned the phone via fedex, the same shipping method it was sent to me. The return tracking number is (removed)
I returned the iPhone because I could no longer afford it's full cost. Can you help me track the refund? Thank you.

Turned on Passcode Lock with requiring passcode after 1 minute, but doesn't
I turned on the Passcode Lock with Erase Data feature. It has a field for 'Require Passcode' and gives 6 options (immediately, after 1 min, after 5 min, etc). I selected after 1 minute, yet it never requests the passcode if someone calls me and I answer the phone. I can talk on the phone, surf the web (while even on the phone or not), etc. It never prompts for the passcode. So, what's the 1 minute for????
Passcode will never stop a call from being picked up.
The 1 min is once the screen is locked, it will countdown to 1 min. After a min it will fully lock meaning to operate the phone again you will have to enter a passcode.
To fully test and make sure things are just not happening too soon during your tests.
Set it for passcode and 1 min like you said you have.
Press the lock button on top (to make screen turn off).
Don't touch it for over 1 min.
Then press home (or lock) to activate.
Slide to unlocked.
Here is should ask for a passcode.
You may wish to also reboot just to make sure nothing is hosed in memory.
To reboot, press and HOLD both the HOME and LOCK buttons.
DO NOT let go when it says to slide to turn off, but keep holding both.
Screen will flicker off but DON'T let go.
Once you see the Apple Logo, then you can let go.
That is how to do a full cold reboot of the phone. No data or settings will be lost and only takes as long as it takes the phone to boot up.
This is the fix to just about every problem you ever may face with the phone (remember, it is a computer and a new OS at that. So reboots are needed now and then just to clear the cobwebs/memory leaks). -
Required passcode after set time
Hi, I want to be able to have a passcode be required after 1 hour on my iPhone. But the only options I see go up to 15 min. Is there a way to set it for an hour in iOS 7. I am running iOS 7 on my iPhone 5. All help is appriciated, Thanks.
Hi Chaz,
Thanks for the post and I hope your well.
If I understand the question correctly (which Im not sure I do), you want to generate a time stamp after a certain condition?
If so, in the example below we time how long the loop has been running for. The trigger is the stop button. You could change this logic to produce a true when X amount of time had passed.
However, when you say time stamp - I assume you mean you want to time stamp your data? Now normally in DAQmx the waveform data generated already contains time stamps. If your trying to build your own waveform have you tried using the Build Waveform Node?
Or maybe your trying to do this?
How Do I Include a Time Stamp in a File Using the Write To Measurement File.vi

IPad requires passcode wont go away and restart delay
Okay lets see if you guys can answer these 2 questions because I cant find anyway t fix it so just today I decided to upgrade to iOS 8.1.1 its ok just 2 problems 1 when it brought me to the passcode screen to put my passcode in its said iPad requires passcode after restart I thought this was just a one time message I put in my passcode as I had when I had iOS 7 and well heres problem 2 I restarted my iPad MINI iPad mini I havent mentioned that yet and well you know that circled thing that appears in everything like the loading thing well it didnt appear this time it took about 8 second for it to appear (this never happened) and it shut down when I started it back up it started normally and when I got to the passcode screen it said the same message and wouldnt go away these 2 problems happened every single time i turned off and on my iPad please help!!
how did you turn off your iPad? Did you just hold the power button until seeing the Slide to Power Off? If thats what you did try a reset instead. Press and hold both the Home button and the Sleep/Wake button continuously until the Apple logo appears. Then release the button and let the device restart. You will not lose data doing this. It's like a computer reboot.

I am unable to open Calendar on my iMac - this occurred after installing Security Update 2015-002. I don't know if related. A message pops up after several minutes saying Calendar quit unexpectedly (but it never really opens). How do get Calendar back?

Require login password after 15 minutes
So I've got a late 2012 macbook pro model with osx 10.9.2. Before the update (back on 10.9.1) under my System Preferences' Security and Privacy, I had it set up that my login password would only be required after 15 minutes after sleep or screen saver begins. I liked it because in my job I'm constantly moving around and having to open and close my laptop. It was nice to be able to open it without having to do a password every time unless I had it closed for more than 15 minutes.
Now with 10.9.2 it will no longer do this. I still have it set to ask for the password after 15 mins, but the moment I close the lid and open it again, it immediately asks for the password. I have no idea why. Has anybody else had this problem or hopefully found a solution?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.Sounds like a keychain issue.
go to Applications/Utilities/Keychain Access
on the left, for Keychains, select login
for Category, select Passwords
use the search box to search for all keychain entries related to the password in question
delete that entry or entries
in the Keychain Access menu, scroll down to Keychain First Aid
enter your password, select repair, and start
I don't know if a restart is needed at this point but it wouldn't hurt.
you will have to enter your password again but this time it should stick. -
Unable to find DHCP-server after 5 minutes?
When I turn on my MacBook and jack in the network cable, the network and internet works perfectly. But after 5 minutes somehow it loses the ip-address gained from the dhcp-server and assigns his own ip-address. Trying to refresh dhcp settings doesn't work, and when I restart my mac, it works again... for 5 minutes, then it loses it's connection again.
I have 2 pc's connected to the same switch and they function beyond 5 minutes, so the problem is definitely with the mac. Does anyone have a clue what this could be?
MacBook Mac OS X (10.4.7)Dag, Koen
feestelijk inhalen (is that used correctly, here?)
Does your mac have any PPPoE settings configured in the SystemPreferences>Network>Built_In>..PPPoE tab...?
My guess is that you don't need anything other than standard TCP/IP settings.
Let us know, alstublieft? -
TV Out stops after 1 minute of playback
I have a Nano 4g and have problems with the TV out function. I can get the TV out to work with the 30pin video component cable, but after 1 minute of playback the Nano shuts down and the video stops. When I go in to restart the video the video out toggle is reset to off.
Even getting the video playback to start up requires toggling the video out switch through off, on, ask and trying different button combination of play and the center button to successfully get video through the external screen.
Has anyone else experienced this and found a solution?I have a Nano 4th Gen 16 gb
Facing exactly the same problem... it is such a let down if we are unable to use the features promised by the company...
Any suggestions please !?! -
Unable to create IDOCs after client copy
I'm unable to create IDOCs after a client copy. I receive a SAPSQL_ARRAY_INSERT_DUPREC or insert of duplicate rows ABAP dump.
Does anyone know what how to fix this. Thank you in advance.
Runtime Error SAPSQL_ARRAY_INSERT_DUPREC
Except. CX_SY_OPEN_SQL_DB
Date and Time 22.10.2007 16:50:51
ShrtText
The ABAP/4 Open SQL array insert results in duplicate database records.
What happened?
Error in ABAP application program.
The current ABAP program "SAPLEDI1" had to be terminated because one of the
statements could not be executed.
This is probably due to an error in the ABAP program.
What can you do?
Print out the error message (using the "Print" function)
and make a note of the actions and input that caused the
error.
To resolve the problem, contact your SAP system administrator.
You can use transaction ST22 (ABAP Dump Analysis) to view and administer
termination messages, especially those beyond their normal deletion
date.
is especially useful if you want to keep a particular message.
Error analysis
An exception occurred. This exception is dealt with in more detail below
. The exception, which is assigned to the class 'CX_SY_OPEN_SQL_DB', was
neither
caught nor passed along using a RAISING clause, in the procedure
"F09_IDOC_INSERT_WITH_NUMBER" "(FORM)"
Since the caller of the procedure could not have expected this exception
to occur, the running program was terminated.
The reason for the exception is:
If you use an ABAP/4 Open SQL array insert to insert a record in
the database and that record already exists with the same key,
this results in a termination.
(With an ABAP/4 Open SQL single record insert in the same error
situation, processing does not terminate, but SY-SUBRC is set to 4.)
How to correct the error
Use an ABAP/4 Open SQL array insert only if you are sure that none of
the records passed already exists in the database.
You may able to find an interim solution to the problem
in the SAP note system. If you have access to the note system yourself,
use the following search criteria:
"SAPSQL_ARRAY_INSERT_DUPREC" CX_SY_OPEN_SQL_DBC
"SAPLEDI1" or "LEDI1F09"
"F09_IDOC_INSERT_WITH_NUMBER"
If you cannot solve the problem yourself and you wish to send
an error message to SAP, include the following documents:
1. A printout of the problem description (short dump)
To obtain this, select in the current display "System->List->
Save->Local File (unconverted)".
2. A suitable printout of the system log
To obtain this, call the system log through transaction SM21.
Limit the time interval to 10 minutes before and 5 minutes
after the short dump. In the display, then select the function
"System->List->Save->Local File (unconverted)".
3. If the programs are your own programs or modified SAP programs,
supply the source code.
To do this, select the Editor function "Further Utilities->
Upload/Download->Download".
4. Details regarding the conditions under which the error occurred
or which actions and input led to the error.
The exception must either be prevented, caught within the procedure
"F09_IDOC_INSERT_WITH_NUMBER"
"(FORM)", or declared in the procedure's RAISING clause.
To prevent the exception, note the following:

Windows 7 desktop locks after 10 minutes idle - Policy setting?
Is there a policy setting to lock the desktop after a certain amount of idle time? I can't seem to find one, and searches on the web only seem to uncover lock up issues with software, rather than security policy settings.
Right now our Win 7 desktops lock after 10 minutes of inactivity (set by old IT staffer who is no longer here). This is way too short and we need to change it. However, I can't find where the setting is. The screensaver is disabled and the power settings are set to maximum. The only policy setting that looks like it could be what I'm looking for is "Microsoft network server: Amount of idle time required before suspending session", but that wasn't set to 10. I went and set it to 0 anyway and the desktop still locks after 10 mins.
Can someone point me in the right direction for this setting?
Thanks! When you leave your computer, it’s best to start a screensaver that can only be turned off with a password.
On the Start menu, click Control
Panel.
Click Personalization, and then click Screen
Saver.
In the Wait box, choose 15 minutes
(or less)
Click On resume, display logon screen, and then click OK.
just try reverse , it may work !!!!!!!!!!!!! :) -
OracleAS - NULL ProviderSession after 15 minutes (Using Oracle PDK Portlet)
We have recently deployed an oracle pdk portlet java application (developed in JDeveloper 10.1.2.1) to an OC4J on a server running OracleAS 10g (9.0.4).
We are currently facing issues where our ProviderSession becomes null after 15 minutes.
In our jsp's we implement the following:
PortletRenderRequest pReq = (PortletRenderRequest) request.getAttribute(HttpCommonConstants.PORTLET_RENDER_REQUEST);
ProviderUser pUser = pReq.getUser();
ProviderSession pSession = pUser.getSession(false); In our provider.xml file within our JDeveloper project/portlet we have set the following tag: <session>true</session>. In the provider itself, under the User/Session Information section, we have selected the User option, set the Login Frequency to Once Per Session and checked the box labeled 'Require portal user specific session information'.
In our web.xml file within our JDeveloper project/portlet we have set the following tag: <session-config><session-timeout>35</session-timeout></session-config>
As long as we stay within our portlet we don't seem to lose our ProviderSession, but after 15 minutes, if we try to access the portal page (to switch the language on the page for instance) the ProviderSession is null. This operation always works when we are under this 15 minute limit.
We have tried to change opmn.xml (increasing OC4J start timeout from 900 seconds to 1200 seconds),
modplsql conf (PlsqlIdleSessionCleanupInterval, changed from 15 to 30 minutes) and we have also tried disabling the Global Inactivity Timeout variables, but no luck as of yet.
Any help would be much appreciated !
ThanksHI
i am also facing same problem with session but in simple portlet with ajax implementation.
i am setting session in portlet jsp with following code using oracle application server portal 10g.
(here portlet jsp means which is included from portlet.)
session.setAttribute("map",map);(here session is implicit object )
i want to call ajax jsp from portlet jsp with below code.(i.e setting session in portlet jsp and accessing in ajax jsp)
var url = "<%=renderRequest.getContextPath()%>/AjaxProcessRequest.jsp?q=" + random;
var pars = '&namespace=<portlet:namespace/>' +'&imagesPath=' + '<%=imagesPath%>';
var myAjax = new Ajax.Updater(
{success: 'emailbody'},
url,
method: 'get',
parameters: pars,
onFailure: reportError,
evalScripts: true
i am accessing map object from session in my AjaxProcessRequest.jsp as shown in below code.
Map map=(Map)session.getAttribute("map"); (here session is implicit object )
here map object is getting null from session.
Please help on this if u know about this session.

Hi All,
I have an SPA112 and its all configured to work as per my network settings. However, it keeps cutting out the line after every minute. Not sure what the real problem is. I've updated the firmware to the latest..still the same thing...Any thoughts, anyone?

Windows 7 locking after 1 minute
OK, so starting off, i have read over all of the other posts and have found none of them work.
My computer locks after 1 minute, this started today, i have not changed any settings, nor have I recently as I have had this computer for a while. I have looked at all of the settings and i have all of the sleep/hibernation functions turned off.
I have the "lock screen on wake up" function also turned off. I do however have it set to dim, and then turn off the display after 1 minute, but this has nothing to do with the sleep function. It does not dim the display before locking, only after,
as if it wasnt locked, please give me anything you can to help as this randomness is very irritating.I don't think Arthur Xie's response should be marked as the answer. This doesn't sound like it has any relevance to Craig's original question, and hasn't been corroborated by anyone. It threw me off the scent when I encountered the exact same
problem - Windows 7 locking me out after 1 minute and requiring password re-entry
It turns out that Ramesh's answer was the one that worked for me. Somehow my machine got set to wait 1 minute and "on resume, display logon screen" was ticked. Don't know how this happened.
I initially missed this, because the selected screensaver was "(none)", so I assumed all the settings on this page were irrelevant. It does raise the interesting usability point that a screen saver of "(none)" can still blank the screen, even
though the user hasn't purposely selected the "Blank" screensaver. -

[25-4-2013 8:17:25] Connected to my.vpn.com.Hello Michael,
The problem here is because we cannot succesfully establish a DTLS tunnel. This could happen because:
- DTLS is blocked somewhere in the path
- A non-default DTLS port is being used
If DTLS is blocked in the middle the issue is because as of ASA Release 9.x and AnyConnect Release 3.x, an optimization has been introduced in the form of distinct Maximum Transition Units (MTUs) that are negotiated for TLS/DTLS between the client/ASA. Previously, the client derived a rough estimate MTU which covered both TLS/DTLS and was obviously less than optimal. Now, the ASA computes the encapsulation overhead for both TLS/DTLS and derives the MTU values accordingly.
As long as DTLS is enabled, the client applies the DTLS MTU (in this case 1418) on the VPN adapter (which is enabled before the DTLS tunnel is established and is needed for routes/filters enforcement), to ensure optimum performance. If the DTLS tunnel cannot be established or it is dropped at some point, the client fails over to TLS and adjusts the MTU on the virtual adapter (VA) to the TLS MTU value (this requires a session level reconnect).
In order to eliminate this visible transition of DTLS > TLS, you can configure a separate tunnel group for TLS only access for users that have trouble with the establishment of the DTLS tunnel (such as due to firewall restrictions).
1. The best option is to set the AnyConnect MTU value to be lower than the TLS MTU, which is then negotiated.
group-policy ac_users_group attributes
webvpn
anyconnect mtu 1300
This makes TLS and DTLS MTU values equal. Reconnections are not seen in this case.
2. The second option is to allow fragmentation.
group-policy ac_users_group attributes
webvpn
anyconnect ssl df-bit-ignore enable
With fragmentation, large packets (whose size exceeds the MTU value) can be fragmented and sent through the TLS tunnel.
3. The third option is to set the Maximum Segment Size (MSS) to 1460 as follows:
sysopt conn tcpmss 1460
In this case, the TLS MTU will be 1427 (RC4/SHA1) which is larger than the DTLS MTU 1418 (AES/SHA1/LZS). This should resolve the issue with TCP from the ASA to the AnyConnect client (thanks to MSS), but large UDP traffic from the ASA to the AnyConnect client might suffer from this as it will be dropped by the AnyConnect client due to the lower AnyConnect client MTU 1418. If sysopt conn tcpmss is modified, it might affect other features such as LAN-to-LAN (L2L) IPSec VPN tunnels.
If DTLS is not blocked in the middle another potential cause for the DTLS failure that DTLS is configured on a non-default port after the WebVPN is enabled (for example, when the webvpn enable outside command is entered). This is due to Cisco bug ID CSCuh61321 and has been seen in Release 9.x where the ASA pushes the non-default port to the client, but continues to listen to the default port. Consequently, the DTLS is not built and AnyConnect reconnects.
The workaround for this problem is:
Disable the WebVPN.
Enter the DTLS port.
Enable the WebVPN.

-Gustavo Medina -
What's wrong with my macbook? It shuts down after 1 minute!
Last night I updated my macbook with something, didn't see what it was, but it required a restart, so I did that. After that, when I was using my macbook it froze all the time, so I tried restarting it a couple of times, but the freezing kept getting worse. I couldn't use it because it froze even before I could click on anything. Then I tried rebooting it in safe mode, but it took ages (I know it is supposed to) so I shut it off before it was finished. Now I can't start my macbook!! I can turn it on and the sound and the apple logo is there, but after 1 minute it shuts down. I don't know what to do! I don't have a backup harddisk (I know it's stupid) and I have some really important stuff on there, so I really don't want to loose everything. Is there some way I can save everything?? Please help, I'm lost! The macbook is 4 years old, it's a White one.
If Disk Utility isn't able to repair your drive it may be a lost cause. You can try a more robust repair tool, I'd recommend DiskWarrior http://www.alsoft.com/diskwarrior/ If that won't do it I'd say you've just learned about backups the hard way. Since you can boot into the recovery partition your hard drive isn't dead but your boot partition has become corrupt.
