Unable to Restore iPhone after it crashed

My 3GS iPhone running iOS 4.1 crashed while quietly sitting on my desk at work. The only thing I can currently do with my iPhone is make emergency iCalls. When I got home from work I attempted to restore my iPhone but iTunes requires me to enter my passcode. I am not able to enter my passcode because my iPhone iCrashed. Any iNformation about how I can get around an iCrash when my iPhone that can only prompt me to connect to iTunes to do an iRestore would be greatly appreciated.

  • Unable to restore iPhone after IOS5 install

    Hello,
This evening I encountered a error -50 after upgrading the ios version of my Iphone 4 to the 5.0.
    What happened :
    - iTunes version is the last one available 10.4.0.142,
    - After many tries I get the 5.0 ios version
    - The I ran the update of my iPhone (the last ios version was the previous one of the 5.0).
    - All was Ok, until iTunes sayd me that the phone had a pin code and that I have to enter it to unlock.
Since, I have a first pop-up in Itunes saying me that the last restore of the content of the Iphone had been stopped and propose me to continue the restore.
But after selecting this option another pop-up explains me that an error occured during the restore (-50).
I tried http://support.apple.com/kb/TS3694?viewlocale=fr_FR#error50, and nothing work on my computer (I didn't try to directly plug the computer to the net).
No firewall is running on my computer, neither anti-virus during the manipluations.
I ran ITunes diagnostics with the Iphone plugged and all seems to be Ok.
Can somebody please help me, because I have no other idea?
    Thanks by advance.
    Regards.

  • Unable to restore backup after updating iphone 4, because "not enough free space"

I updated my iphone 4 to v7 via itunes (v12), and in doing so, my camera roll was erased as were most of my calendar events.  I am trying to restore the backup that I created just before updating, but I get an error message in itunes that says "itunes could not restore the iphone" because "not enough free space".  There is 2.5gb free on my iphone, and I created the backup just before updating so there should be plenty of room.  Does anyone know how to get the iphone to restore and/or how to put my pics & calendar back?  itunes hangs up at the end while syncing too...

hello again, don't post twice the same question, it won't be answered faster.
