I am unable to restore my iphone 5s the message Im getting a 4005 error message please help

iv'e read a few with similar errors. my iphone 4 will not restore. as soon as its to the verifying part of the restore process it sends me an error message 9.
anybody help. done all the usual. tried a MAC changed the USB sockets on my PC. Changed the lead/cable.
phone restored in the past no problem.No all security set to off or nothing.
why does it not go past

i think it has something to with apple and they have blocked my use of itunes for some reason.

My iPhone 4 crashed and I'm unable to restore it. I get an error message (-1). Any advice?
It started with "No Service" messages that would last for 20 minutes or more. And last night, after waiting for a while for my service to come back, I tried to turn off and then turn on my phone. Shutting down took about 2 minutes, a very long time it seemed. Powering up never happened -- it stayed stuck on the Apple logo screen. In attemting to restore, I keep getting the error message (-1). But I can't find any info about this message.

You're getting that error because you hacked your phone. Discussing how to fix it can't be discussed here per these forums terms of use. You'll have to use Google: type "Iphone error 1015" in a Google search bar. Good luck.

When trying to restore or update my Iphone 4 it errors out with message:..."could not be restored because the firmware file is not compatible." How do I resolve this?
Ask him if he has 'jailbroken' the ipod touch. Some jailbreaking firmware resets it to Ipad firmware and so it is very difficult to restore as itunes simply doesnt recognise it for what it is. It's Apple's solution to try and stop mass jailbreaking.

I am unable to restore my iPhone 4 from recover mode for almost a week now.
I am unable to restore my iPhone 4. It is in recovery mode and shows the connect to itunes screen. Itunes gives me many error messages, one saying "The iPhone software update server could not be contacted. The network connection could not be established." and I do not understand if it is referring to my internet or a Network on the phone. My internet connection is fine and the phone does not have service on it since I havent gotten it to work for the last week. I have also tried multiple computers to try to restore it and recover images, but nothing has worked. Please help me!

I have the latest iTunes 12.1.2.27. However, I am unable to restore my iphone4s. iTunes was able to detect an iPhone in recovery mode.
The error is something like "Unable to restore the iphone. Make sure you have the latest iTunes and try again." This is the latest version that exists currently.
I am using MAC OS X 10.7.5.
Please advise.
I have tried all the steps in the apple support.There is nothing to backup.
If the device is showing the Connect to iTunes screen, there is nothing on the device to backup.
The first step in the update process is a backup... restore the device using that backup and try again.
