Unable to restore the Azure SQL DB

Hi Team,
We have two Azure SQL DBs hosted in Azure. The details are below:-
1. DB1 [Standard S2 250 GB] hosted on SQL server 11.0.9230 behind the scenes.
2. DB2 [Standard S2 250 GB]
hosted on SQL server 13.0.15 behind the scenes.
And we have tried to restore the DB1 onto DB2 and it is failed with the Error "Partner server 'SQL1' is not compatible with server
'SQL2'"
Please help on how to resolve this without service interruption.

Could this error be SQL Server version specific and the program only likes SQL 2000 client tools and not 2005? Are there major differences between libraries versions? Should there be something else configured? What am I missing? Thanks in advance.

Tools are tools, not a connectivity library and by the error message the right connectivity library is missing. Ask the software vendor which one is required or look it up on the other machine, where the application works.

Thanks for the question. I understand you are experiencing issues updating your iPhone to iOS 7. If you have not already done so, you may want to restart or reset the iPhone:

I have the latest iTunes 12.1.2.27. However, I am unable to restore my iphone4s. iTunes was able to detect an iPhone in recovery mode. The error is something like "Unable to restore the iphone. Make sure you have the latest iTunes and try again."

I have tried all the steps in the apple support.

There is nothing to backup.
If the device is showing the Connect to iTunes screen, there is nothing on the device to backup.
The first step in the update process is a backup... restore the device using that backup and try again.

I like to also have the concept in hand, so I can "re-derive from fundamental principles" when needed. [That's just a euphemism of "over-thinking", which I do a lot.]
That concept is: The drive on the desktop is an Icon. Like any other icon, including Files and Folders, it can be renamed by clicking on the name and re-typing a name, or using GetInfo and typing in the larger and more convenient name-box. Unable to restore the back up data

i have upgraded the to OS10, just before that I did took the back up ...even though i am able to see the back up folders in the Blackberry link, after restore device->full restore (even custom restore)..the Option "RESTORE" is not available for selection...when i click on the details it says "the blackberry ID associated with the backup file is not matching the blackberry id on the device"......please help

The google feeling lucky app from the address bar is not working, a program called vshare performs a search instead and I am unable to restore the original function. please help

I do not know how but vshare, has been performing a search everytime I type something in the address bar that is not a complete website i.e. facebook instead of facebook.com
this is very annoying and I am unable to uninstall vshare, I have even tried uninstalling firefox and reinstalling it

1. In Firefox type about:config in the address bar and press ENTER.
2. Locate and double-click the entry for keyword.URL

Query string -- select * from table where #InputString

Here the Input string will be generated by the client and the results will be transferred back to the client. Can any one help how to do this? Input string would like
col1 like 'col%' and col2 like 'col2%' and so on.. and this is dynamic which can be changed in runtime like col3 like 'col3%' and col1 like 'col1%' and so on..
I have tokenized the string and assinged the values and executed the custom string through Input parameters for all the fileds instead of only search string .. since table having so many null fields not receiving the exact row counts and records.. hence I have to pass only the Input string as I mentioned like Query String.. If some body got the same concern please let me know..

Hi All,
Even though the answer is a bit tedious by formulating the where clause with all fields and dynamic parameters, I achieved the goal. But we do have another option to use orcl:query-database in the transformation. But this one give tedious results when you are trying to achieve multiple rows from this. If some one have a better idea to utilize this query-database function, you are most welcome.

HT4500 The Genius Bar wiped my hard drive (10.7.2) and I have since been unable to restored the backup from my Time Machine

I followed these steps from this article;
In Finder, press Command-Shift-U.
Double-click Migration Assistant.
Click "Continue" and enter an administrator name and password when prompted.
Select the "From a Time Machine backup or other disk" option, then click "Continue".
Select your Time Machine backup disk or Time Capsule (enter the user name and or password if prompted), then click "Continue".
Having selected the correct disk nothing happened, other than the word "connecting" appeared. After some time this also appeared. "The backup disk image “/Volumes/Ross Backup Data/Ross’s iMac.sparsebundle” could not be accessed (error -1)". I tried both with the Time achine connected wirelessly and via Ethernet, with the same result.
Select the Time Machine backup you would like to restore (such the most current one you just made), then click "Continue".
Select Items to Migrate, then click "Continue". Note: The "Continue" button will be dimmed until the "Calculating…" stage is complete.
Any ideas please?

How big is your Time Machine image? If it's really big (eg, several hundred gigs), it can take a lot of time to calculate the time needed to restore it onto your Mac. This said, I'm still on SL, so maybe you have to reinstall Lion from the restore partition first, then migrate your personal stuff from the Time Machine image.
Additionally, you'd be better served if you posted this thread in the Lion part of the forum...

PowerShell unable to recognize the Azure Subscription details

Guys!!!
I am running scheduled jobs via Powershell, and Powershell is failing to recognize the Subscription details after 12hours. Hence I am manually importing the Subscription details to trigger the jobs. But this is driving me crazy!
I need some help that will fix this problem. Since the jobs are automated for each hour, it is impossible for me to manually import the details every time.
If I am to try Add-AzureAccount, it will open up a browser for me to enter the credentials. But it is not possible for me to store credentials at any place.
Kindly help me out with this Guys!!

Are you sure remove-azuresubscription wasn't run, or perhaps the subscription data file wasn't somehow removed between the sessions.
Try Add-AzureAccount command which Authenticates a user through Windows Azure Azure Active Directory and downloads the subscriptions associated with the account.
If you still continue facing the same issue, I suggest you to remove the subscription using remove-Azuresubscription and use import-AzurePublishSettingsFile alone but not Add-AzureAccount.

Unable to restore the 'go to' button on my X3-02 s...

Just bought an X3-02 and started personalising the phone. At the bottom of the screen are three touch buttons. Mine came with "Go To" on the left, "Menu" in the middle and "Facebook" on the right. I managed to change the left button to "Bluetooth" but then found out I couldn't set the right button to "Go To" as I had intended. Now I can't find any way of restoring "Go To" to either the left or the right button. Can anyone help?

Try a Factory Reset..(Menu-->Settings-->Restore Factory settings-->SETTINGS ONLY).. followed by 12345 ...or the one if you have set your own security code..
Though it should not erase any data.. a back-up is always recommended...

Unable to restore the snap shoot of ZFS

Hello Gurus,
I have taken the snapshoot of soalris 10 machine and moved to the another machine.
and i need to restore it on one disk disk so i have removed old disk in esx server presented one new lun and.
started installation and stoped in between of instllation after the lable of disk.
I have reboot it booted from Cd exit instllation.
When i tried to mount the nfs snap from remote system i am getting the rpc timeout error.
Please help me.

Have you tried zfs send | zfs receive of the snapshot ( I'm assuming it is in a file format )? How did you save the snapshot?

Unable to restore the backup

I Had recently upated the Blackberry Q5 device with OS version 10.3.1.2576 & Software Release 10.3.1.1779. But unfortunately my backups did not get restored. Every time it shows error as "Restore Failed".
I have also taken backup last on 20-07-2015 and i have a backup file on my PC too but am not able to extract these data and restore it to my device. Kindly help tURGENTLY to resolve my issue since all the data is lost. Also you can mail me the guidelines to resolve this issue at my below email address.
