Unable to retrive my Nokia Mssg Password

Hi
Am unable to retrive my Nokia msg password. There is no security question displayed when i click forgot password. Do not know why ? Any ideas ? Am unable to configure my email id on my phone. Pls advise.

I can no longer use my aol on mac mail. When I set up the aol account name and password I get a message that says "Unable to verify account name or password". This is on all my Apple devices. Seems like an AOL server issue but no help from them!

I can no longer make my AOL e mail work with Mac Mail on all my devices. When I try to set up the account and put in the correct aol account and password I get the message "Unable to verify account name or password". I know the account name and password is correct as I can open the AOL e mail page on Safari. I have changed the password, and it still does not work. AOL tech support has been no help. AOL email worked for years but last week due to suspected spam activity AOL locked my AOL account. I got that straightened out but now i cannot set it up on any of my devices: Macbook Air, Ipad, I pad mini and iPhone 6 without that message. I took everything to Apple store and everything is set up correctly on my devices. AOL tech support is no help and keeps giving me different solutions and answers, none of which has worked. Any solutions out there? All my Apple Software is up to date on all my devices

Delete your Gmail account from the Mail/Contacts/Calendars settings page, and then add it back in using the new Gmail password.

Your password will be sent in the clear." Because iTunes is frizen at this point I am unable to enter a username or password, or in fact do anything. Please help!! I have uninstalled and reinstalled iTunes numerous times as well as attempting all of the fixes that I could find on-line and still no joy.

That sounds extremely phishy to me... iTunes does not require authentication simply to launch it. I suspect you've got something nasty intercepting network traffic. That server may be set up to log the Apple ID that you enter so it can be used fraudulently. Try ComboFix from Bleeping Computer.
FWIW the domain mellor.co is registered to an accountants in Knutsford, Cheshire, UK, and produces the same authentication request if visited with a browser. There is no sign of a "real" publicly visible website at that domain which is a somewhat odd.

Unable to retrive the service details

Good day.
After i've restarted the UCCX mashine,in the control center i have the "Unable to retrive the service details" and "java.lang.Null.pointer.exception" concerning to the recording and statistics service.
But the service itself working properly.

What can it be?

To say the truth i wasn't able to solve the problem.
I'd no smartnet,so i wasn't able contact TAC.
I've been told,it can be fixed by tracing system variables by Java programmer.
But,i don't know Java at all.
Installing patches and fixes,all avaiable,didn't solve the problem.
So,the system works so since i've opened discussion.
Sorry,but i've no solution for this

Unable to edit, add or change passwords in iphoto web gallery

Iphoto and Web Gallery were working great but recently, I am unable to add, change, or delete passwords to my web galleries. When I go Settings and into Edit Names and Passwords, I can add or change a password but when I click OK, it will not allow either clicking on OK or hitting return. I have also posted an album to web gallery and it does not appear in the list in Settings or in the Edit Name and Password lists but I can see my gallery out on the web with all photos.
Any help on why this is. I have both a IMAC and a Macbook and it is the same with both computers using my imac account. Both have updated software and the Macbook has Parallels installed. I
ran repair in Keychain Access with no problems. I created another account and this did not help.

Welcome to the Apple Discussions. Try the following:
1 - repair disk permissions with Disk Utility.
2 - delete the iPhoto preference file, com.apple.iPhoto.plist, that resides in your User/Library/Preferences folder..
TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.
I've created an Automator workflow application (requires Tiger), iPhoto dB File Backup, that will copy the selected Library6.iPhoto file from your iPhoto Library folder to the Pictures folder, replacing any previous version of it. It's compatible with iPhoto 08 libraries and Leopard. iPhoto does not have to be closed to run the application, just idle. You can download it at Toad's Cellar. Be sure to read the Read Me pdf file.

ImageIcon unable to retrive Image on JVM 1.6!!!

Hello eveybody,
I deployed a desktop JFrame based application using some images.
Actually this app works perfectly on my PC (with JVM 1.5)
Copyiing the jar to another PC with JVM 1.5 I'm unable to retrive ALL images.
code for ImageIcon is this:
icon = new ImageIcon("Excel.png");
1)The same Jar, loaded in a PC works perfect. on the other it's unable to retrieve images (that obviously are packed into the jar...)
2)All the rest of the application works in the right way
do you know why?

I have the same issue with all our applets.
When tracking TCP/IP traces, I found a difference between JRE 6u06 and 6u11. In both cases, the java plugins asks 3 times for my jar (why ? Don't know). In 6u6, it waits for each transfer to be completed. In 6u11, the first transfer is ok but the second and the third are termintaed by a TCP connection reset and this is followed by a request to MyApplet.class and another to MyApplet/class.class
Is there a new bug in applet loading ?

I have tried resetting my network settings but to no avail,
yesterday I reset all settings then it actually worked, however today the problem started again so I repeated the reset but it still isn't working
This has only started happening since i upgraded software to ios6

Here is what I would do:
Shutdown all computers connected to the router.
Power off the router.
Power off the modem (cable or DSL).
Wait 30 seconds.
Power on the modem. Ensure all lights are lit and the modem is online.
Power on the router. Ensure it's communicating to the modem.
Turn on your Macbook Pro first (the one experiencing the issue. Check it's connection. If it's still having issues, removed the networks it can attach to, turn off WiFi; then turn WiFi back on and reconnect to your WiFi network.
Turn on other Macs in household. Check their connections.
Sometimes "rebooting" the modem and router fixes connectivity issues.

i'm using developer/2000 ver 2.1 and my reports running under win95 platform and i'm using client/server techneque, when i start to distribute my reports to my users on their machines i got the above message , and i have to recompile all of my RDF files again on every user machine. this not all my story , but after some period may be 2 months these reports start to give the same message , again i must recompile all my RDF on every user machine.
please if any one have a solution for this mazing problem.

I belong to your club too it seems. Though in my case the compilation was required on each database. Report used to work in the only that database in which they were compiled. Connecting to other database used to give this string error. Moreover this problem existed only for those reports in which i had used PL/SQL code in the formula columns. One way to avoid this is by writing all PL/SQL code in a library and call it in the formula column calculations.

Make sure that your device has correct GPRS/3G connection settings in place. Also, check with your mobile network operator that the accesspoint (AP) that the phone is using to access GPRS/3G services, is capable of accessing the Nokia Music store. As some AP's defined in the handset as a default connectivity method are for Wireless Application Protocol (WAP) services and email only.

"Unable to verify the name or password of the account" (Twitter account Mountain Lion OSX)

I recently installed Mountain Lion OS X (10.8 actually) and have been trying to configure my Twitter account to integrate it on my iMac, the problem is that when I type my Username and Password it won't let me add the specified account, it always appears the following message below the Username/Password fields: "Unable to verify the name or password of the account".
I know it may be that I type wrong my password or username, but I have checked and double-checked both password and Username and STILL get this message it has become rather annoying what does it mean? Do I have a problem with my privacy settings, firewall or something?...any help I would really aprecciate it,

As the title says.. I cannot login neither to facebook nor twitter on Mountain Lion.
Shutting down and restarting the MacBook doesn't work, as well as the time and date setting or Twitter/Facebook App preferences.
All useless.

Try this, it worked for me:
System Preferences --> Mail, Contacts, & Calendars --> Remove your Twitter account by clicking on the at the bottom of the left hand pane in the window.
Go to your Twitter account and under your Settings --> Apps, revoke access to OS X Integration and click 'Save'.
Return to your System Preferences where you removed your account and attempt to add the account again. After you enter your @username and password, attempt to use the app in the notification window.
It fixed the problem for me and even gave access to the OS X Integration back to my apps on my Twitter account.
Prior to this, the Mail, Contacts, & Calendars would tell me that it was 'Unable to verify account username and password'. Very frustrating.

Unable to verify account name or password - Gmail

Hi guys, I struggle to configure my gmail account in 'System Preferences'.
In System Preferences I click on Mail, Contacts & Calendar, then on Gmail, type my name, gmail email address and gmail password and once I click on Set Up "Unable to verify account name or password" message appears on the bottom of the password window.
My account is second admin account in the system.
I configured my wife's gmail account in the same manner on her account on this computer and everything went fine.
Would anyone have a guess how to address this issue?

Ok, I solved the problem. Just realized that I have all the security activated on my gmail account.
If you have similar issues with setting up you Gmail account on Mac you need to do the following in your gmail account setings:
1. In your gmail account go to Settings (cog wheel in the top right)
2. Go to Accounts and Imports tab
3. Go to Change account settings --> Other Google Account settings
4. Click on Security
5. Scroll to the bottom of the screen and click on 'Manage access':
6. Verify your password
7. In the field provided enter the name of your device (could be anything it's just for your information to know which of your devices are given full access to the gmail account)
8. Click on "Generate password"
9. Password will appear in the yellow field
10. Copy this password and paste it in the password field in your Mail, Contacts & Calendar in System Preferences.
11. This is one off password only used to grant an access to your gmail account by your device.
12. You need to use your standard gmail password from now on.
You're done and your gmail email is downloaded to Mac Mail!
