Dear All,
Unable to return vendor consignment to stock from delivery using VL0G after performing Goods Movement Reversal using TCode VL09 for Stock Transfer Order/Special Stock Consignment/Outbound Delivery
Parameters:
Stock Transfer Order from DC to Site - Vendor Consignment Inventory
Reverse PGI - VL09
Select Outbound Delivery - Item locked
Message no. L1618 - Return storage for delivery is not possible when IM is active
Your help will be greatly appreciated.
Gaetan

You can use the following:
- stock can be moved from 916 to normal bin by LT01 / LT10
AND
- control message VL019 in OVM1 and VL173 as per OSS note 521409
AND
- delete the delivery item by setting the delivery qty to 0
AND
- create new delivery item
Recreating the item and do the picking again. I received this answer from OSS.

Dear,
With transaction LT0G, enter the delivery and, if you created more than one TO, select the view at TO level, here select also the WM movement type you want the sistem should use. In the list the system will show you, you can also change the quantity you wan to return back.

• Reversal of vendor consigned material stock

Hi,
we have one vendor consigned material. In the initial uploading of stocks by 561 k an excessive stock was uploded. now we want to reduce the stock without paying to the vendor. We cannot use 562 k as it is locked now, please help.
Thanks.
S J

Hi,
This is really very difficult sitution. i can propose you my 2 suggestions to rectify this issue:
1) First try to know the reason why 562 k is blocked..If possible try to open this MVT type.
2) Else what you do, book the excess Quantity to scrap..Issue it with mvt 551.
Hope this helps

• How to return Vendor consignment received thro 561 K

Hi,
I have few materials in Consignment stock that received through 561 K from the legacy system. It doesnt have PO or any other document in ECC.
Now we want to return it to vendor, since we dont find any use of that. How to return it to vendor w/o any PO or material doc?
I cant do 122.
Will it be ok if i do 562 K ? Can i use 702 K?
Since it is a consignment stock all i need is a record in ECC that this material existed in plant.
Regards

Yes, you can use 562K deal with this problem.

• Cutting stock (mill_cut transaction) for vendor consignment

Dears,
We encountered a business process: cutting stock vendor consignment (special stock indicator: K)
Meaning that 1 had a big batch, and it should be cut into smaller batches.
In standard sap, there's a transaction called "mill_cut": cutting stock transfer.
We are using it to cut the normal stock without any problem. Any one have ideas that if standard sap also support the mill_cut for vendor consignment stock?
Underneath the mill_cut transaction, the configuration is movement type 309. (material to material movement).
Best regards,
Vincent Shen

• While using LT0G( Return to Stock from Delievry),item is Locked

Hi All,
We created an Intercompany STO, created delivery and since Storage Location was Warehouse Mnagaed created a TO for picking and di Goods Issue on that.Later it was realised some materials were wrongly included in delivery. So Goods Issue was reversed (VL09) and then while trying to reverse TO using LT0G we encountered a strange issue:
1) One of the material included in delivery had delivered quantity as 108, during picking (TO creation) 70 units of the material got picked from one storage Bin and 38 from other Bin.
Now in LT0G, i get the 2 line items created for this material however line item with only 38 quantity is active and allows to be returned to stock from Delivery, line item for remaining 70 units is locked and available quantity field is blank. Why it shows as locked? How can i unlock that? This is critical as we need to delete the picked material soon.
Thanks,
Anshul

Select the locked item (set somehow the cursor on it), and click on "Log" button. What is the error message you get?
Is the stock available?
Isn't possible that someone already created the return TO for that item?
LT0G is a troublesome transaction...(e.g. in case of stock determination group is set in material master it won't work; if not dynamic bin was used for picking you also may have problems, etc). Please check OSS notes there are many...
You can try to process the item (try to create TO for that item) that is selectable and after that try LT0G again...
(on selection screen of LT0G use "TO item view" radio button)
remark:
If you wants to delete the delivery you can do it w/o reversing the TO in LT0G. If the picking status is "C" you can delete the delivery and move the quant from 916 to normal storage type using LT01 / LT10...

• Unable to create Vendor return delivery from blocked stock

Hello,
Would like to know how to enable delivery picking from blocked stock.
Some back ground : I am using Delivery type RL (Vendor returns). Required config is done in IMG.
In our process we move defective material to blocked stock. Next create a Return PO to pick material from blocked stock.
Next use VL10b to create delivery document against this PO. We are able to create delivery & PGI from blocked stock.
All above steps are executing seamlessly without any issue In our QA system.
However in PROduction system delivery document does not find any qty in blocked stock inspite of being in the blocked stock.
Please let me know where I could find the setting to enable delivery shipping/ PGI from blocked stock.
Look forward to some good responses.
Thanks,
Ram

Prerequisites
When you enter a return delivery, you should reference the purchase order or the material document, so that the system can:
Suggest data to simplify data input (for example, the storage location)
Check that the returned quantity does not exceed the delivered quantity
Reduce the quantity delivered to date
Reverse other updates that occurred (for example, for a goods receipt into consumption) when the goods receipt was entered
Before you enter a return delivery with reference to a purchase order, you have to determine whether the goods were posted to stock or to consumption, or whether they were posted into goods receipt blocked stock. If you posted the goods to a particular stock type at goods receipt (for example, quality inspection stock), you have to return them from the same stock type.

• Goods Issue in SD delivery (from vendor consignment stock)

Hi, all.
I'm trying to make a goods issue in SD delivery from a vendor consignment stock (movement 601K), but the system gives me an error message M7071 - I have to enter a vendor at item level, but where? And if I have a stock determination strategie, why the system needs the vendor, if I have stock K available for a vendor?
Please advise.
Thanks,
HA

Hi Helena Maria,
I think you have made some mistake in the movement types in the consignment processes..
just go through this and its easy to remember...
Please reward if this is useful for you..
1. Consignment fill up:
Sales document type is KB
Item category KBN
schedule line category 1
In this step, you are not invoicing the customer. document flow is sales order -
delivery item category. It will not be relevant for billing and pricing because you are not charging money for these goods in this step.
In schedule line category, you will set movement type 631 & set for availability check and TOR.
2. Consignment Issue.
Once the customer informed you that he used all the goods or partial goods then you will create consignment issue for used goods.
Sales document: KE
Item category: KEN
schedule line category: C0 or C1
Here you are invoicing the customer(because he used the goods). you are assigning the delivery document and billing document to the sales document.
In item category, you are setting relevant for billing, pricing, special stock.
In schedule line category, your setting is 633 movement type, relevant for availability check & TOR.
3. Consignment Return:
Customer found that some goods are damaged or he not able to sold the goods he want to send it back. that you are creating this document.
Sales document type: KR
Item category: KRN
You will assign delivery document and billing to sales document. you will create return order, return delivery, return billing.
Your setting item category relevant for billing, returns, pricing, special stock.
Your setting schedule line item category: 634 movement type, NO availability NO TOR.
4. Consignment Pick up:
Even if you create the consignment return the goods are not come to direct to your plant. For that you need to create consignment pick up. here the owner ship is not changing so you do not need to create billing.
Assign return delivery to sales document type.
Sales document: KA
Item category: KAN

• Vendor consignment stock return for Sales order

Hi,
For Home delivery Sales order- Sale is being performed from Vendor consignment stock & it works good with 601K movement .For Return in this case, Return sales order is created & PGR is performed against delivery. While doing this - the returned consignment material goes to unrestricted blocked stock. But we need this to go back to Consignment stock.
Can any one suggest a solution on this ?
Thanks in advance for quick solution, sharing your inputs
Krish

Hi,
You can always use the 412 K mvt to do a manual posting back into consignment stock.

• How to Handle Returns of Vendor Consigned Stock Issued via Delivery ?

Hi.
I am currently able to issue Vendor Consigned Stock via Delivery. I use Lean Warehouse Management, and I have implemented Stock Determination Rule to take Vendor Consigned Stock and Unrestricted own stock in account during Issue. I am even able to insert the correct Vendor Number during the confirmation of the Transfer Order. When I generate the Goods Issue of the Delivery Order, I get an accounting document that affects both the Account Payable Liability and a Consumption Account.
Now My Question is this :
How do I handle Customer Complaints that lead to a Return of the Goods, back into Vendor Consigned Stock ? The goods that is returned, needs to be taken back into Vendor-Consigned Status, and a appropriate Accounting Document needs to be generated to reverse out the Acct Payable Liability and Consumption Account entries.
Do I use a Returns 'RE' Sales Order to bring back the Stock ? I need to be able to create a Return Delivery that will immediately post the returned Stock back into Vendor Consigned Status. So where and how can I key in the vendor number in the Return delivery, keeping in mind Return Delivery in Standard SAP does not use Warehouse Management ?
regards
Peo

Hi Edmund
I think you can try the following:
1. Define a new schedule line category - here you can define the movement type and the item category (as given in a Purchase Info Record). - Transaction VOV6
2. Define a new sales order type for returns. - Transaction VOV8
3. Define a new item category for the returns document, - you can mention the special stock type here too
4. Carry out the sales order to item category and item category to schedule line category assignments.
I am not sure if the system will prompt you to provide the vendor number or how does it populate the vendor no. while posting the material doc. However you can try this out and check if this solves your issue.

• Vendor Consignment - Returned material from customer directly to consignmen

Hi,
I'm working with a consignment vendor process. I'd like to know how should I manage the return from my costumer. I'd like to move this returned material directly to my vendor consignment.
Is it possible? How can I do it? How affects it to the consignment settlement?
Points will be given
Thanks in advance

Hi Roger,
We have 2 type of consignment process in SAP.
1. Vendor consignment (MM process) & 2. Consignment with customer.(SD process)
If the Customer is returning the item (or consignment item). ... it will be process as normal process...like goods receipt in to inspection ... if it is ok... then again we can move to Consignment ( with customer)...in seperate transaction.
Hope this is clear.

• About goods issue from vendor consignment stock

Hi, I meet some issue needs your help!
The outbound delivery needs to post goods issue from vendor consigment stock directly. then how to choose which vendor's
stock for this delivery base on the actual process?
thanks
Best Regards,
Rory

Hi
In R3 it is not possible
If say material X is 100 units lies in your premises the vendor consignment stocks (the vendor property lying in your premises ) and out of that 100 units if you are making a sales order and then a goods issue means it is not possible
To sell that material you need to make it your own stock ( that is transfer from vendor consignment to your own ) as good as buying that stocks and then sell it
But the same scenario is possible in IS retail
For this iS retail server is reqd
In Retail you can play with vendor consignment stocks as much as possible without making our own stocks
You can search SAP library regarding the settings of the same

• Sales from vendor consignement stock

Is it possible to configure sales item catogory and schedule line to automatic withdraw stock from vendor consignement stock?
I will assume that the special stock vendor consignement must be assigned to the item category, but there are no standard item categories in standard SAP with this special stock vendor consignement.
Which movement type in the sales delivery should be used for this ?
Please help with some input on how to configure this scenarioe.
Best regards,
Terje

Hi Paul
Check for movement type 601 , wheather item category K and special stock K are maintained or not. I suppose for movement type 601 item category K and special stock K are not supported and that is the reason you are facing the error

• Movement type to return unutilized Vendor Consignment Stock

What is the movement type to return unutilized Vendor Consignment Stock, which
was planned to use against a production order and moved to unrestricted stock

If the stock is the same status as it was when issued to the vendor I would check MB51 for the material document that posted the stock to there location find the movement type that was used and then use the reversal movement type for that same movement type. (all SAP movement types have a reversal movement type for stock with same properties)
