    Unable to rotate raw images in bridge, rotate buttons grayed out?
    Bridge 5.0.2.4.

    There is an ignore EXIF setting Preferences. I can't remember if that is Bridge or Photoshop, but IIRC it is for DNG files.
    Right.  Check Photosho > Preferences > File handling and make sure 'Ignore EXIF tag, is not checked.  I think that might do it, so long as it refers to sidecare files, because only RAW files would have one.

  • Unable to rotate screen

    I noticed the other day when browsing the internet I'm unable to rotate the screen. I checked in settings and the auto rotate is checked off so it should be working. Any one have an idea as to what's going on?

    No I wasn't able to calbrate, not sure how to to be honest. Is there a 3rd party app I can download or is it in the phone itself? Don't recall seeing anything in the settings.
    One of the mobile games that allows me to rotate would be "contest of champions" it forces it to one landscape side. When it comes to web browsing via Chrome I'm unable to rotate or even in the "Reddit is fun" app I'm unable to view it in landscape either. With my camera, its forced in landscape mode where the bottom of the phone is on the left, I was able to do normal portraits or choose to have the landscape picture going the other way. As of now I'm unable to.
    Thanks for reading! Hopefully we can find the solution.

  • T60p - unable to rotate display after installing win xp sp3

    Hi,
    I am using WinXP on my T60p. Just installed WinXP sp3 and am now unable to rotate the display using the ATI Catalyst control center.
    I have the latest driver from Lenovo installed (dated 31 jan 2008). There are no drivers to be found at ATI for the Fire GL V5250 display adapter.
    Display driver version is 8.442.3.0.
    Does anyone know of a driver that will fix this problem?
    T60p - 20078JG - 14.1in 1400x1050 LCD- WinXP Pro SP3 - 256MB ATI FireGL V5250 - Advanced Mini Dock - 24" DELL monitor.

    einarjon, welcome to the foum,
    do you mean that the option to rotate is no longer there, or that it is there, but doesn't work?
    Have you tried the key combinations;  Ctrl+Alt+ ← / ↑ / ↓ / →  ?
    Please let us know if this helps.

  • Photos from iPhone 4S are unable to rotate after copied on PC...

    If I try to rotate photos ported from my iPhone 4S onto my Win 7 64x laptop I am unable to rotate them.
    This is the error message I receive:
    "Windows Photo Viewer can't save the changes to this picture because there's a problem with the picture's file propertie."
    Weird part is that some of them I am able to rotate using the same program (photos are in the same folder)
    I am an admin on my computer, I have full rights on the folder I am copying the photos into.
    I tried porting in the photos by simply Copy / Paste from the "Internal Storage" folder that opens up as soon as I connect the iPhone and by using the "Import Media" option that come up when iPhone is connected > no dice!
    I tried opening the photos with Windows Photo Viewer, PictureViewer, Paint > no dice!
    I have no problemas with the photos from iPhone 3GS or any other type of media, just with the iPhone 4S that is currently up to date.
    Does anybody have a fix for this?

    Just used  SteelBytes software to resolve the issue of not being able to save rotated images in Windows (1500 x iPhone 4S pics took 3 seconds). The tiny (83kb) program just strips all non-essential metadata from images, so all you retain is the picture, picture properties and optionally the date/time taken.  I can confirm this resolves all problems with rotating pics using Windows-based software without touching the actual photo in any way.
    I used this to modify my working/viewing copy of the kids photos, as there are so many they are stored in folders by month/year, and Apple numbers the files in order for sorting purposes (but again, date/time taken can be retained if you like). That said, I have kept the original images as my backup copy as a fix will eventually be developed for this.
    The free-ware from Steel Bytes has no advertising or malware onboard (as at today anyway). Link is at bottom, but just in case Apple Forums don't allow that - go to steelbytes.com > Freeware > Misc > JPEG & PNG Stripper > Download > English > USA (regardless of country) > Save As..  Then open your download folder and double click on the file (depends on what software you are running as to the next steps). Once installed and running (just a little command line window), grab a folder or file (IMPORTANT: Ensure the original files are saved/copied somewhere else) and drag it into the little window. That's it, the files have been changed and can now be edited.
    Good Luck !

  • Unable to rotate downloaded photos- missing file properties

    I copied/pasted my photos from Windows Explorer. I tried rotating the pictures to the correct position, however it throws an error indicating that the picture contains missing file properties. Has anyone encountered the same thing? How can you fix it?
    BTW, Using iphone 4S with iOS 5. Never had any issues with my 3GS.

    Well that message is a Finder error.
    As to the iPhoto problem:
    Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Include the option to check and repair library permissions.

  • Unable to rotate groups of selected images

    I have tried the various methods discussed in the help but only a single image rotates.  I am using Aperture 3.

    Do you have "Primary Only" on?
    "Edit→Primary Only" toggles it on/off (as does "p").
    There is also a button on the Toolstrip.

  • Help needed after uploading photos to my PC and being unable to rotate images and video

    HELP!!
    When I connect my iphone to my PC it imports all pics and video. Then when I go into the folder located where these images are located in my C drive and I want to rotate a photo (and video) that was taken upright on my iphone, I get a warning message stating "you cannot rotate this image. The file might be in use or open in another program or the file or folder might be read only"
    How do I edit and rotate these photos and videos so I can actually use them on my PC???
    Thank you!!!

    Yes, due to Incomplete Software Update on your iPhone your Device is now in Recovery Mode and you cannot take a Backup now. But if you have taken a backup earlier then you can Restore that backup on your iPhone after you Reset your iPhone to Factory Settings.

  • Unable to Rotate Some Pictures After Importing from iphone4S

    When I upload my pictures to my computer (Windows), half of the pictures will not allow editing/rotating.  A message pops up that says "This picture can't be saved because of a problem with the picture file's properties.  I've checked the properties and cannot see anything that would be an issue.  It's a jpeg image.  There is also no pattern to which ones allow editing and which ones do not.  If I take 10 pictures in a row, 3 may allow editing while 7 do not.  Can anyone help me???

  • Unable to rotate video

    Trying to rotate some home movies that were filmed sideways by mistake. They just need to be rotated 90° counter-clockwise, and I've tried with both mencoder and ffmpeg but neither of them actually rotates the videos.
    mencoder VIDEO.AVI -vf rotate=2 -oac copy -ovc copy -o VIDEO-ROTATED.AVI
    ffmpeg -i VIDEO.AVI -acodec copy -vcodec copy -vf rotate=2 VIDEO-ROTATED.AVI

    Maybe my videos are just too weird a format for it to handle? Here is the output of 'ffmpeg -i'

  • Unable to rotate photos

    I would like to know if there is a way to angle photos in iWeb (ability to rotate) at specific angles. When I go into the Metrics inspector, the rotate option is greyed out. Even when I select any of my photos. Any idea how I can resolve this problem?

    This is a no-go area. The Photo page template creates this photo grid to accept the images you drop there. The grid cannot be deleted, and the only material within it which can be edited in any way are the photo captions.

  • Unable to rotate dynamically

    Hello experts!
    I have a project that has been quite frustrating to me. Please help me get the rotation work...
    Below is a function that is called by clicking on a JButton. This code works:
    private void zoom(boolean in) {
    Transform3D zoom = world3d.zoom;
    zoom.set(zoom.getScale()+(in ? -0.2 : 0.2));
    world3d.zoomg.setTransform(zoom); // access member variable
    However, the procedure doesn't work for rotation as follows:
    private void rotateX(boolean cw) {
    Transform3D rot = world3d.rotateX;
    xrot = xrot + (cw ? 0.1 : -0.1);
    rot.rotX (xrot);
    world3d.tgRotateX.setTransform(rot); // access member variable
    The constructor for the World3D class is as follows:
    public World3D (Canvas3D canvas3d) {
    mainShuttle = new Shuttle (); // returns BranchGroup with 3D object
    Transform3D translate = new Transform3D ();
    translate.set (new Vector3f (0.15f, 0.0f, 0.7f)); // Translate to fit on screen
    TransformGroup tg = new TransformGroup (translate);
    zoom.set (0.5);
    zoomg = new TransformGroup (zoom); // Allow for dynamic zoom
    zoomg.setCapability (TransformGroup.ALLOW_TRANSFORM_READ);
    zoomg.setCapability (TransformGroup.ALLOW_TRANSFORM_WRITE);
    tgRotateX = new TransformGroup (rotateX); // Allow for dynamic x-rotation
    tgRotateX.setCapability (TransformGroup.ALLOW_TRANSFORM_READ);
    tgRotateX.setCapability (TransformGroup.ALLOW_TRANSFORM_WRITE);
    zoomg.addChild (mainShuttle.getBG ());
    tg.addChild (zoomg);
    BranchGroup mainScene = new BranchGroup ();
    tgRotateX.addChild (tg);
    mainScene.addChild (tgRotateX);
    mainScene.compile ();
    SimpleUniverse simpleU = new SimpleUniverse (canvas3d);
    // This moves the ViewPlatform back a bit so the
    // objects in the scene can be viewed.
    simpleU.getViewingPlatform ().setNominalViewingTransform ();
    simpleU.addBranchGraph (mainScene);
    }

    You need to implement some behaviors. The online documentation does not show these in the API but the downloaded docs do.
    file:///C:/j2sdk1.5/html/com/sun/j3d/utils/picking/behaviors/package-frame.html
    PickMouseBehavior
    PickRotateBehavior
    PickTranslateBehavior
    PickZoomBehavior
    notice they are com.sun packages and are subject to change:-)
    Alos the demos have examples of picking that are good to learn from. If this doesn't get you going I'll post some code.
