Unable to run a problem do to missing JRE
HELP!!!!
First I'm still learning when it comes to this computer and I've spent 5 hours working on this JRE thing.
When I went to load my childs spelling list onto her Turbo Twist made by Leap Frog, instead of an opening screen I had the pleasure of reading the following:
"Unable to launch application, missing JRE, please reboot and try again".
The Turbo Twist worked just fine in June, but we have been fighting the Trojan virus chains thanks to the
internet. Yes we plan to reformat, just need a 2nd hard drive 1st. HOW!!! can this JRE just turn up missing.
Anyways, Dell directed me to www.java.com for the JRE download. Tried both the automatic and the manual downloads neither will install. Here is that message..
This installation package could not be opened. Verify that the package exists and that you can access
it, or contact the application vendor to verify that this is a valid Windows Installer package.
Please someone... anyone in a language I can understand HELP me get this JRE program back into my computer before my kid kills me or my fist goes thru this screen.

No promises that this'll work - obviously the computer has a "problem" - but you can download the JRE package as a compressed file, save it to your computer, then click on it in Windows Explorer to try to install it. Here's how:
Go to http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.4.2/download.html
Under the 3rd blue header J2SE v 1.4.2_05 JRE includes the JVM technology
click on Download J2SE JRE **** You want the JRE, not the SDK which is just above the JRE****

Read the license, if desired. Click "Accept" and "Continue".

Under the heading Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition 1.4.2_05
Click on Windows Offline Installation, Multi-language (j2re-1_4_2_05-windows-i586-p.exe, 14.91 MB
It will start a large download; save it to a folder - remember the file's name and location.
When the download finishes, navigate to the saved download file and click it, this will start the installation.
When the installation is finished, the file that was downloaded can be deleted if you wish.

I am unable to run iTunes because I am missing MSVCR8080.dll.
After trying to install the latest version of iTunes, I am unable to open it. I get the error message that I'm missing "MSVCR8080.dll", and that I should reinstall. Reboot, download iTunes, then reinstall, either using an account with administrative rights, or right-clicking the downloaded installer and selecting Run as Administrator.

Unable to run Mozilla demo site Problem with Bananabread
I am using firefox 13.01 on a Mac OS and when I go to Mozilla web site

When I click on the levels I get a message OOPs there was a problem starting Banabread" I have cleared my cache and cookies with no change. Can anyone tell me why a Mozilla product is unable to run its own demo?No answers as to why Firefox 13.01 does not run on Mozilla's own web site even though Mozilla says any version this year should work.

Unable to run ALBPM Ant tasks on Linux
Hi,
I am trying to execute a simple build script that creates a session with given directory details and deploys/publishes a project on to the Enterprise Server. With usual modifications, this scripts works fine on Windows, but on Linux it keeps on giving an error that makes no sense. I am copying my build file as well as error stack trace below. Amit.Try with down grade of Mozilla firefox. may be version 6 to 8. not 9/10.
Firefox with 9 and higher doesn't support JRE version 1.6.XX.

trying to fix the problems above with Enterprise Sercvice Builder i have made a mistake:
i have undeployed SAP_XIESR and now i can't find it anymore!
the link where i find the ESR and Service Registry is no more accessible!
is the undeploy reversible?
these are the details:
from NWDS , deployment perspective, from tab undeploy view i selected SAP_XIESR added in the list of things to undeploy and run undeploy
this SAP_XIESR is now vanished, when i make that action i thought that it was reversible, but now i can't find SAP_XIESR in no place around!!!
how can i reverse that action? -
Z77a-g43 unable to run ram in dual channel mode
In fact, I'm unable to run any configuration aside from where i have both modules in the 2 slots closest to the cpu. I tried every permutation with 2 sticks, both with my new g.skill ares 8gb sticks, and my old g.skill 4gb sticks.
I would try manually increasing the voltage a little, but there are only 4 settings "1.35v, 1.5v, 1.65v, and 1.8v".Give 1.65v's a try, but from what you describe, it could be a problem in the CPU socket. Bent pin(s) or poor CPU pad to pin contact.
Added: To be more thorough, it could also be a short between the mainboard and the case (errant standoff(s), faulty dimm slots (for two to be faulty, extremely rare), CPU faulty (again rather rare).
2nd add: Actually, I missed another possible. Recommend to test each RAM stick individually in the primary dimm slot. -

LabVIEW 2011SP1 Error building installer: LabVIEW Run-Time Engine 2013 is missing 3 dependencies???
I'm having a problem building an installer in LabVIEW 2011SP1.
It's been a while since I've tried to build an installer but it used to work fine and building executables is still working fine.
Now when I try to build the installer I get "The build was unsuccessful."
Possible reasons: Error generating preview for My Application 3.1.7.

The really strange thing about this is that I'm using LabVIEW 2011SP1, I don't even have LabVIEW 2013 installed, not even the runtime.
Where is the problem? Why is it even complaining about LabVIEW 2013? Has anyone seen this before?

Go to Solution.I do have the LabVIEW 2013 discs but didn't install it.
I checked in Control Panel > Programs and Features > National Instruments Software and the LabVIEW 2013 Run-Time is not listed there.
I also checked in MAX > Software and I must have missed it the first time I looked. LabVIEW Run-Time 2013 is listed there after all.
Now I remember installing VISA 5.4 to get rid of a nasty bug. It must have installed the 2013 Run-Time when I did that.
So now I need to distribute 2 runtimes with my application?!?!

Unable to run Memory profiling, help please
Hi there,
I installed the lastest version of JDeveloper 10 and created a very simple project(only have one class with Main()method) for testing purpose.
I configure the Profiler in Project Properties page, setting the class as included instance, however, all those profiling menu items(e.g.: Memory Profile...) are greyed out and I am unable to run memory profiling.
I wonder if the functions are available for the free-downloaed version of JDeveloper, or is there something wrong with my setting?
Your help is highly appreciated.Make sure you are positioned on the class in the application navigator before going to the "run" menu option.
Also does it work if you don't change anything in the project properties?
Here is what I did - created a new project with a simple hello class. And I didn't had any problems profiling it.
There is no function limitation on the version you downloaded.

Unable to run my pages from jdeveloper
Hi all,
From past 2 days am unable to run my OAF pages, actually what i did is i deleted the environment variable and again created a new one. I dont know why am unable to run the pages... The Error Which it is throwing is
"Unable to run the page DiagnosticsPG.xml. OAProject "C:\Jdeveloper10g\jdevhome\jdev\myprojects\OAProject.jpr" must reside in the "C:\Jdeveloper10g\jdevbin\jdev\myprojects" directory in order to run successfully." To fix the problem, quit jdeveloper and then either relocate all the associate project files, or correct the JDEV_USER_HOME enviorment variable on your computer "

I got some message(Migrate User Settings) when i run the jdeveloper for the first time after installation which says " The User Settings found in the user home directory were generated by a different installation of JDeveloper than what is currently running. To avoid complications , some settings will be restored to their defaults. Do u wish to continue?" When i say yes.. am facing the problem which i mentioned above i.e it is taking directory home as C:\Jdeveloper9i\jdevbin\jdev.... Yes am setting the JDEV_USER_HOME to c:\JDeveloper9i\jdevhome\jdev... and then trying to open that using a C:\JDeveloper9i\jdevbin\jdev\bin\jdevw icon

Unable to run struts project from jdeveloper 10.1.3
Hi,
I have created a struts-based application project using jdeveloper 10.1.3(build JDEVADF_10.1.3.1.0_NT..) by importing an ear file .The project seems to be built fine as i get no errors in compiling the entire project.I have included the Struts runtime library as well in the project.
But when i try to run the login.jsp from the struts-config.xml,i get the :
The page cannot be displayed message in the browser.
I dont see any errors in the Embedded OC4J log except few warnings lik dis:

Unable to run ADF Project Using with Jdev 10 and Weblogic server 9.2

I am unable to run ADF Project on Weblogic Server 9.2. I am created Sample Project with ADF Control. This was when we create jsp at that time i am selected libraries ADF. After created war file. This war i am deploying into Server. At that time i am getting error java.lang.noclassfound error.
so please tell me how we can run these application.

Suresh.VHard to help you here. JDev 10 used to work with OAS 10g as application server. This does not mean that you can't use Weblogic9.2, but because it is not the default configuration you may have some problems doing this.
One problem is that you need to install the ADF runtime libraries in the WLS 9.2 server, but there is no installer I know of. You can try to deploy the needed libraries together with your app, but you have to figure out which libraries you need.
Next thing is that you should deploy an EAR instead of a WAR.

Unable to run project on upgrading to azure sdk 2.3 while using cache
We upgraded azure sdk from 1.8 to 2.3 and we are unable to run our project.
following is the error.
Attempt by method 'Microsoft.Web.DistributedCache.DataCacheFactoryWrapper.CreateDataCacheFactoryConfiguration(System.String)' to access method 'Microsoft.ApplicationServer.Caching.DataCacheFactoryConfiguration..ctor(System.String)' failed.
However if we comment out the following lines of code in web.config we are able to run the project.

FRM-41214 unable to run report
Hi,
i'm trying in this days to migrate my software from 6i to 9i....
Particularly i had some problems when i try to launch a report from my form...
The form had migrated from Oracle 6i and it seems that it hasn't any type of problem but when i try to call a report from the web i obtain the error FRM-41214 (unable to run report)
but this report is correctly positioned in the right path and when i use a different report of a different project (compiled for the 9i) i note that the error occurs when i use one of my group obtained from my queries like source for a new repeating frame.....
Exactly until when i use one of the old groups of the old report it's all right but when i try to use a new group referred to a my new query i obtain the precedent error
(FRM-41214, unable to run report)
But i don't have any type of error when i compile...
Can anyone help me? Some one can tell me what can i do or some one can indicate me same document where i can read all the step to migrate a report??
