Unable to run any applications

HI,
Nokia Team,
I am using nokia C2-03 Dual Sim mobile but not running find ...
when ever i want to play music / to open any images/ to open or apply new themes or to play games/ to run any other applications it always insist to remove data from Gallary but i haven't installed any new applications or anything els .... i am using the 2GB memory card given with handset.. it is useful for me only for receiving and making calls nothing els i can do with it.
Please do suggest wthat to do how to slove this porblem.

Sounds like you used Apple's migration tool, that fails to move all application support files.
You can either manually copy all the application support file from the old volume, or reinstall.
If you download and reinstall, you need the full installer, not just the update.

Unable to open any applications in administrator account

My OS is 10.6.2. Just tonight, I was unable to open any applications in my administrator account (Safari, iCal, iTunes, calculator, system preferences, etc.). In other words, I can't do anything while logged into my administrator account. However, everything works fine if I log into the guest account. Any suggestions? I have restarted my computer and that did not help.

What happens when you try to launch applications? Do you see error messages?
Check the behavior in Safe Mode by restarting the computer with the Shift key held down. Booting will take a while longer--this is normal, so just be patient.

I've fixed the problem!
I think the problem was in the way I was linking to the libraries. I ended up deleting all my hand made ANT settings and instead exporting the settings from my Flash Builder project, and just using those.

Unable to delete any applications.

Hi,
Recently I upgraded to Snow Leopard, noticed some real improvements, etc. However, it has become apparent over the last week or so, that I am unable to delete any application from any folder on my system. I have tried changing ownership and permission settings to no avail. I have also tried using those application removal tools (AppZapper, AppDelete, et al). I am not an expert in using the Terminal application, so I have not tried changing settings using this.
I had intended to take my computer into my local Apple store, however, I wanted to see if I could find a solution online and fix it myself.
I should also mention that I am not trying to delete pre-installed software, just third-party software that I no longer use.

'Jumping out of the trash', is exactly how I would describe my issue. I can delete any file providing it is not an application. Just tested trashing a range of apps, third-party and pre-installed, all act in the way I describing, all 'jump' out of the trash. Also, apps that were present pre-SL install act in the same way as post-SL ones.
I haven't to my knowledge dragged an icon from the dock to the trash, it doesn't sound like something I would do. I have in the past trashed an app directly from the Applications folder, in the usual drag-n-drop fashion. I have no other drives connected to my computer.
Just checked the permissions on the account, it tells me I am the administrator. I have no parental controls set.
I've checked ownership and permissions and whether the item is locked for my hard drive and my applications folder; and for applications I am attempting to trash, all seem to report that I have the 'power' to delete them.

Unable to download any applications through BB App World

Hi!!
I have been facing a problem on the BB App World front. Each time I try to download any application through the BB App World it takes me to the Download tab in green but after I click the tab nothing happens.
As a result I am unable to download any application on my Blackberry.
Please help me resolve the issue.

I suggest that you clear the AppWorld application cache:
1. Open App World
2. Go to My World
3. Follow one (and only one!) of these steps:
3a. For keyboard-based BB's -- Hold down the ALT key and then press, in sequence R, then S, then T
3b. For Touch Screen Only BBs -- Hold the num-lock (!?123) button so it locks and then press, in sequence 3, then 4, then (
3c. For newer (e,g., OS6 and 7) BB's, see this KB:
KB24714 How to clear the BlackBerry App World cache
4. AppWorld should close.
5. If your BB locks after issuing the cache clear, perform a battery pull reboot
6. Return to AppWorld/MyWorld (it may be sluggish while it re-synchronizes).
If step (4) does not happen as listed, then the clear cache did not work.

I could not run any application program

I could not run any application program( even thouht the simplest one such as helloword). It would give NoClassDefoundError as:
Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: Welcome1

I use text pad editor. First I compile it, there is no error. But when I try to run ( by click run java application program button ) it gives me the same error message.
I also always have compile error such as no class define when I try compile the program which need to import user defined class from differerent package. ( even though I did put all the classed in the same directory and also use import statement)
I did try to run many other applet programs which do not use any user defined class, in this case every thing work fine and I could run the program.
That mean I could run simple applet program but not application, also i always have compile error when ever I tried to import user defined class.
I'm afriad there is some thing wrong with the sdk and java enviroment, therefore I did try to uninstall the program and redownload from the web( I try both version 1.3 and 1.4 many time, and I did check the size of the application when I finish down load) but I still got the same problem.
My computer operating system is WinMe.

When I was trying to write my final project(Client/Server Application with java & CORBA)I could not compile The simplest program like HelloWorld for Idl(Errors like yours).After two month accidentally I write set classpath= and HelloWorld start to work.I start to read the tutorial again,and I see that sun say it in the tutorial but I don't understand it because I read it fast.So it was somthing wrong with me not with sun.They work very hard.I like to work in sun in future.

T410 laptop turns off abruptly when running any application

Hi,
T410 laptop turns off abruptly when running any application. I contacted the technical support, first they suggested me to run some diagnostics for hard disk which failed and so they sent me a new hard disk. Even then I faced the same problem. Again I contacted them and they told that they will change the system board. Today I received the laptop with new system board/updated BIOS.
But still I am facing the same problem. I called the technical support again, they told me to use the latop in two modes ( 1. only battery and 2. only ac adapter) and check whether its happening again or ont. In both the cases I am seeing the same problem.
Laptop is only 5 months old and bought for $1400........
SOmebody help me........

Hi and welcome to the forum!
Tell us something more about your system, like installed memory size, processor speed, graphics card make and size, HDD size and so forth. Because yours is CTO model hence it's not possible to figure out these things without your telling us about them.
I'm not very expert but I would say it's probably the RAM since system board and HDD have already been replaced or possibly you have got a lemon. But try following suggestions first.
Do you get any sort of error message or Bluescreen? does Event Viewer report something unusual? Event Viewer can be opened by typing it's name in the search field in Windows 7. If you get Bluecreen you can view it via this program:- http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/blue_screen_view.html and let us know what it says.
Also, make a bootable CD of mem86 and run the test on your RAM, mem86 can be downloaded free from:- http://www.memtest86.com/
Lastly, you can burn LiveCD of any Linux distro and boot from it, if applications work fine in Linux environment then probably it's some software problem your thinkpad is having, re-imaging the system to factory state would be great initiative in that case.

Hi all,
I get the below error message when try to open any application in workspace.I'm using Hyperion system 11.1.2 .Please help me out to sort out this error message.I dont find any clue on why this occurring and how can it be rectified.

JDev 10.1.3 - running any application results in connection pool error

After creating a new project with a MySQL connection and since removing the project, I receive this error no matter which application I try to run through the local OC4J of JDev 10.1.3.0.4.3673.
I can recreate this issue with a brand new app workspace & project with a single html file.

I'm guessing this is a connection pool issue, but I'm not sure how I associated this connection to the pool, or where to remove it. I've reviewed the help files and searched through this forum, and see references to the connection pool on the AS, but not JDev 10.1.3 itself.
Any pointers are appreciated! In the mean time I'm continuing my search!

1) Can we run MDB applications within JDeveloper 10.1.3 ? I noticed there is a jms.xml file in embedded OC4J.
2) How can we test MDB applications within JDeveloper linked to a JMS Destination OC4J based ?

I am unable to open any applications and the top menu bar (while everything else freezes) disappears about a minute after powering on my macbook.

A little while back, I attempted to write files to a disk, and then my computer went to a screen that I remember looking similar to thishttp://i44.tinypic.com/mheyy1.jpg After going in to speak with apple, they tried to reset specific settings and ended up erasing the majority of the files on my computer. After all this, my computer began to function terribly and finder would not respond. I did a software update just now and upon doing so my menu bar at the top of the screen is visible only for a moment before disappearing. When I try to open any application, the icon turns to a TXT icon and will not open. I am unable to do much of anything on my macbook right now. Thanks for your help!

These files were lost two years ago.
That's not consistent with what you wrote in your first message. I can't help you unless I know what's going on. Either you do, or do not, have backups of all the data you want to keep. If you do not, then the first thing you need to do is back up those files. It makes zero sense to do anything else. In order to back up, you'll need either of two things: another Mac, in working order, with a FireWire port and enough space on its internal drive to hold your files; or an external drive, also with enough space.
On the other hand, if you do have backups, or if you simply don't care about any of the data, then the solution to your problem may be quite simple. All you have to do is boot from your installation disc (your profile says you're running Mac OS 10.5), erase your internal drive, reinstall the Mac OS, then restore your data from backup. You will need to be selective in restoring software, because incompatible software may be what caused the issue.
But it's also possible that you have a hardware failure, in which case you can't get your computer working again until it's repaired.

Unable to run the application via DNS CName record.

I have Windows Server 2008R2 running an application that connects to a database via a DNS CNAME record. The application was working fine until after yesterday when it could no longer
connect to the database. The database server is up and running without any issues. You have verified remote connectivity to the database server from your workstation.

It might be that the application does not support using aliases for DNS resolution. You will need to contact your application developer/vendor for assistance.

Unable to Update Any Applications purchased through MAS

Hello.
I am unable to update any of my purchased apps from the Mac App Store. Have used the 10.6.6 combo updater, repaired disk permissions, reset Apple ID password, but am still unable to update. The updates tab is empty, and when I try to click an Update button from the purchases tab, I get a dialog that says:
"You have updates available for other accounts. Sign in to (null) to update applications for that account."
I haven't used any other Apple ID for the MAS.
Console.app is spitting out this error when I try to update:
1/18/11 7:48:26 PM App Store[6985] multibyte IDs are unsupported.

I posted a solution in http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?messageID=13006522&tstart=0 that worked for me. I had Spotlight indexing disabled (Privacy tab > added the root drive). I allowed Spotlight to reindex and now the App Store works as expected.
If anyone wants to take the time and discern what specifically Spotlight needs to index that would be great as I never use it and hate the rude mds and mdworker processes thrashing at the drive.

Oh! The console message that led me here was:
date time mdsprocessID (Warning) Server: No stores registered for metascope "kMDQueryScopeComputer"
It appeared every time I started the App Store.
