Unable to run OUI to uninstall Oracle windows 10.2.0 database

Hi,
i installed oracle database on my windows xp system and i want to now uninstall the database so i tried running the Oracle Universal Installer but i am unable to run Oracle Universal Installer on my windows laptop.
when i run the setup.exe file for installing database i get error saying
"Error in writing to directory C:\.......\Temp\....... Please ensure that this driectory is writable and has atleast 45MB od disk space. Installation cannot continue."
i did go to my "Temp" folder which is under "Documents and Setting" and did delete all the files there and tried to run the OUI, but still same error.
how can i uninstall oracle database 10.2.0 from my laptop either using OUI or without OUI.

Try setting TMP, TMP_DIR or TEMP environment variable next time.
To uninstall, delete any entry in windows registry with "oracle" or "Oracle" or "ORACLE".
Delete the folder where Oracle was installed before.
That clears any previous installations of Oracle on your laptop.

I currently administer several 11gR2 RAC clusters, all hosted on IBM pSeries servers running AIX 6.1. I need to decommission one RAC cluster so that the hardware can be reused for a different purpose.
I have been reading the "RAC Installation Guide for Linux and Unix", specifically chapter 8 in the documentation. This document mentions using the deinstall tool provided with the software, but I have never used this utility before.
I would like to know what experience others have had usinging this tool, and whether or not I should use DBCA first to remove the database hosted by the cluster. Are there any "potholes" or known bugs when using this utility?

We have 2 separate Oracle software owners in our RAC installations: ORAGRID is owner of the Grid Infrastructure home and central inventory, and ORACLE is owner of the database home. Should the deinstall utility be run as the GI owner, or as the DB owner?

set your storage environment, and run
wfinstall
from $ORACLE_HOME/wf/install
but you, know theres enough issues with release 1, i would really suggest, you install release 2, the process is more streamlined. There are quite a few issues with workflow and files integration. You need to apply the 9.0.3.1 patchset prior to workflow aswell. Otherwise you'll have to use a few workarounds.
Firstly you need to install, workflow and then add certain languages. You then have to apply a few patches, create a DAD - this stuff is taken care of in release 2.

Unable to run weblogic managed server on windows 7 x64

when i want to run soa_server1 it fails,I can read in the log:
server name soa_server1 specified with -Dweblogic does not exist!
please help..
i can see the soa_server1 folders created but when i try to run the startmanagedweblogic.cmd file it cannot find the soa_server1 server.. any help?

Unable to uninstall Oracle 10g products

I am on Solaris 10.5 SPARC 64 and just installed Oracle 10g successfully, but can deinstall.
I am trying to uninstall oracle products I just installed. But each time I run the Oracle Universal Installer to perform deinstall, I see "There are no installed products" on the welcome screen.
Any idea?
Here is what I am doing:
Start Oracle Universal Installer as follows:
$ $ORACLE_HOME/oui/bin/runInstaller
In the Welcome window, click Deinstall Products

Unable to run Oracle JDeveloper

H i all
I just installed Jdeveloper in my system and am using mysql 4.1 as database. I am not able to rum my application as it still cannot find the com.jdbc.mysql.driver. Though i have given the library path of JConnector - mysql-connector-java-3.1.14 under project properties.
Please let me know what is the problem

Uninstalling oracle 10g enterprise edition from windows vista

HI There,
I want to uninstall oracle 10g enterprise edition from windows vista home premium edition. I have uninstalled it using oracle universal installer and then deleted folder from program files. But I am unable to delete the main folder i.e. D>Oracle..
It is displaying error message 'access denied' Please suggest me on this issue.. How can I delete that one so that I can instal it again. I would be really grateful.

I have tried everything I could to fix this, but some things require actually being on Firefox, and since I cannot get on, I cannot click on the tabs to do it. I have even totally uninstalled firefox, and that has not fixed this. I still get the same message that firefox is running and I need to close it or restart (which I have also tried dozens of times). I have removed things like Java, and that has not helped either. If I cannot even get on line in firefox, how can I fix this. I am not crazy about using internet explorer, but right now, it is my only option. I even tried to start in safe mode, and the same message box pops up!

I am running Acrobat X Pro on Windows 7 in Parallels. I have tried to install the Acrobat updates, but they won't install. Today I tried to create a pdf from a Word 2013 document and it crapped out. I tried to uninstall Acrobat and got Error 1310. Error writing to file: c:\Config.Msi\feea.rbf. What do I do?

First of all i would request you not to create more than one thread for the same issue. we guys need to maintain this forum etiquette. I hope u can understand it.
About ur issue....let me know the location where u have kept the .DBC file in local directory.

How to run import from Unix Oracle 8.0.5 database with Windows Oracle client?

How to run import from Unix Oracle 8.0.5 database via network with Windows Oracle client? Is it possible? When I try to do it Oracle client just hangs... If not which ones are compatible Aix or Solaris to Unix or it must be a Unix client to connect to Unix Oracle database. Thank's for any help.

In our project we are using this type. Since in this project server in UNIX(DEC) and client is running on windows. We have created a listener which always listen requests from client and doing the according to the request.
Step1. create a request table, where u are inserting ur request.
step2. create PRO*C proram, which is listening request on the table. If there is any request, call the imp (executable). This is happening on server side.
Benifit. U can make a request from cleint and ftp the file client sit.
