Unable to run Xilinx 2014.3 SDK for workspace that had worked.

   Hi,
   I have been developing a Linux application for ZC702.   Starting up the SDK i get the workspace path prompt but
   after selecting the workspace the SDK crashes.   I removed the .lock file in .metadata folder to no avail. I examined the .log file (attatched) and there are several Eclipse errors.
When selecting a previous workspace the SDK starts up fine.   I would like to fix the old workspace and on another note, how do I create a new workspace?

Why am I being billed for equipment that never worked from the get go, and that your representatives admitted never connected to the computer on your end?

In September my husband and I were planning a cross country move and we thought that having a Jet Pack to go on line with while we were traveling would be a good idea. When we ordered it we told the representative that we did not need it until the 1st of Oct. as that was when we would be leaving. It arrived on our door on Sept 9th with the instructions to be sure and activate it within 2 weeks or we would lose the line. On the 19th we called in the activation and everything appeared fine. We hit the road on the 1st and Nothing, Na-Da, Zip, Zilch .... The equipment never worked from the get go! We called Verizon from the road on the 4th of Oct. to find out what was going on and the representative told us that the problem was with the computer on Verizon's end. We shut the equipment off for the rest of our trip and called for a refund on the 13th of Oct. We spoke to a representative named Juan, who again confirmed that it was Verizon's computer that had been the problem, and we were assured that all fee's associated with the Jet Pack would be waived as the equipment never worked in the 1st place. He told us all we needed to do was return the broken equipment and that he would send us a return label. We received the return label and sent the equipment back on the 22nd of Oct. On our next bill no credits of any kind had been applied? We promptly picked up the phone and called Verizon again, on Oct 31st, to find out what was going on? This time we spoke to Lou Ann. After about an hour and a half she finally managed to remove the fee's, or so we thought, and we hung up satisfied. On 11/5 our Nov. bill arrived again with no credits of any kind. We thought maybe the billing cycle hadn't had time to catch up with our most recent conversation so we called just to verify. This time we spoke to Moncheria. She did not understand what had happened and had to reenter the same refund that Lou Ann had earlier. Again another hour and a half on the phone. Today,11/28, we received our most recent bill and again no credits of any kind??? We picked up the phone and called again. This time we explained to Christian, (the above story), and she put us on the phone with her supervisor Carson. Carson proceeded to tell us that ALL of the previous representatives we had spoken to were wrong and that since we had not returned the equipment within 14 days of receiving it that we were beyond the limits of the refund policy, (which means we would have had to return it before we left on our trip), and the best she could do was offer us coupons for the future to offset THEIR mistake! No thank you I will keep my cash in my pocket!
1st of all we ordered it for the 1st of Oct. not for 9th of Sept.
Secondly we were told to be sure and activate it within 14 days or we would lose the line, never any mention of a refund time limit. (Who buys stuff anticipating an immediate refund?)
And 3d THE EQUIPMENT NEVER WORKED IN THE 1ST PLACE!!
Now Verizon is asking for $343.34 in fee's for something that never worked in the 1st place!! This is ridiculous and those fee's are defiantly under dispute! The way I see it trying to hold me to a contract that Verizon breached by sending out faulty equipment is just wrong!

I have been trying to get my bill and my service is corrected since the start of my service on April 17 my telephone was supposed to be ported in from AT&T and was not done until two and a half months later and my internet has never worked since I signed up because the service person that was supposed to set it up never came back to set it up now I'm expected to pay a bill from April 17 still present for services that didn't work I have tried calling comcast on several occasions have sat on hold for hours at a time trying to get somebody to talk to me any billing to get this resolved and I get nothing how do I get this taken care of

SQL 2014 - Group Membership for sysadmin permissions not working

I am using SQL 2014 on Windows Server 2012 R2 and am running into a permission issue. During the install I specified the local server's Administrators group as well as my specific domain account to have sysadmin privileges.
The issue is that accounts that are a member of the local server's administrators group can't even login to SQL Server Management Studio unless they are specifically granted permissions for their account (my domain account works fine as it has a specific
credential in SQL).
The log just gives the following error:
Login failed for user 'domainname\username'. Reason: Token-based server access validation failed with an infrastructure error. Check for previous errors. [CLIENT: <local machine>]
Error: 18456, Severity: 14, State: 11.
I haven't had this issue in previous versions. Is there something that must be done differently in 2014 to grant permissions to groups?

Additional SDK for Flex Builder - not working

I have a Flex Builder 3.0.2. It's shipped with Flex SDK 2.0.1 and 3.2. I would like to add the new Flex SDK 3.5. I followed the documentation: http://livedocs.adobe.com/flex/3/html/help.html?content=build_6.html#162812:
- extracted SDK 3.5
- added into my SDK list
- set to default
- restart Flex Builder
- clean project
But it's just not working. There are many functions from the documentation I can't use still (but should be available with SDK 3.5). How can I fire SDK 3.5 up?

I can't solve your problem, but I can say that Flex Builder 3
is much faster amd more stable than FB2.

Maybe you have hardware problem.
I would try running the extended version of your Apple Hardware Test.
It's not perfect but may flag something.
A more thorough test for RAM is the free Rember.
Use the extended test also.
Here's a nice faq on RAM testing.

Best modem/router for AEBS that actually works?!

I have had so many problems with my AEBS it's unbelievable! If someone could suggest a modem/router that works well with the AEBS so i can set up my wireless network that would be great! So far i have tried the netgear DM111P modem & the d-link 320T modem. Both do not seem to work, i can get onto the internet connecting directly to each of the modems but when i comes to connecting to the internet through the AEBS with the modem attached there is nothing. But i can connect one computer if the AEBS is in bridge mode, which is pointless as i need to share the connection. So any suggestions to help me or on a modem/router which will actually work, i would appreciate it a lot!

I have been using Windows Media Foundation for some time and it works well. I can open and read many video without problems.
But recently, I tried to open a sequence which fails. This is an AVI with the following streams:
Video : WVC1 1712x1280, 4:2:0 YUV
Audio : PCM S16 LE 8000Hz, 16bps
I am under Windows 7. Windows Media Player opens it perfectly, as well as VLC.
But when I try to open it myself with such methods as IMFSourceResolver::CreateObjectFromURL or MFCreateSourceReaderFromURL, I get an HRESULT 0xC00D36C4 (MF_MEDIA_ENGINE_ERR_SRC_NOT_SUPPORTED)
What could be the problem ?

Even though the Player Framework claims to support MPEG-DASH via the DashDownloaderPlugin, I do not think the framework actually supports true DASH content (.m4s for mp4 containers or .ts for MPEG-2 containers).
All of the example URIs MS provides for testing "Dash" content contain the .ism extension -- which is actually associated with MS Smooth Streaming content (.ismv), not MPEG-DASH. But because Smooth Stream content is similar to DASH in that .ismv
files are simply fragmented MP4 files, just the same as DASH .m4s files, it is possible to ‘trick’ a server into delivering .ismv files to any Dash client by simply creating DASH init segments and a MPD. I believe this is what Microsoft Azure does in delivering
"Dash" content via their Dynamic Packager if you provide them with a Smooth Stream.
This means the Player Framework can play Smooth Stream content packaged as "Dash", for example:

Paid for App that stopped working

I am a Newbie and paid for a Weather app that just stopped opening and working. Can anyone help me with how to resolve that problem?

Haven't had that happen dealing with the app store, they have been good about reloading paid-for apps. I have had to learn to just trust them when downloading free apps when they ask for login and authorization to purchase, which actually does not result in a charge for free apps.
You could also file a user review note that the app stopped working and see if you get a response. When things like that happen, there are often updates to apps that are free downloads since you already paid.
If that particular app is really important to you right away, you could go through the download/possible charge and see if you end up getting charged for it. May just be a formality that doesn't result in a real charge to your credit card.

New nb heatsink for neo2 that will work with nv5/ati4 silencer

the nb fan is by far the loudest fan in my system, even with cnq running. has anyone that has the latest arctic cooling silencer installed come up with a replacement heatsink? there's not a lot of room left between the nb fan and my silencer. :(

I noticed that the Vantec was a little bit quieter than the fan that came on the board. As far as temps go, I'm not sure. There was hardly any grease on the chip at all. I replaced with AS5. On the Arctic Silencer, the idle temp is around 54c but the load temps are alot lower than the stock hsf, highest I have got is 65c after a couple hours of Desert Combat. Ambient temps have alot to do with cooling though. Usually around 78 F here

Unable to run Information Management Policy &Expiration Policy Timer services

I have set the retention policy of a list and need to run Information Management Policy and Expiration Policy timer jobs but when I went to central Admin and try to run now its not running.I changed the scheduled to run from weekly to daily and scheduled
it to run even that did not work.I also tried hourly but still unable to run the timer job.
Its not that the timer job has never run.It shows last run a week ago when it was scheduled weekly but now its not running at all.
Any idea what could be causing this?Or I am missing something?

Which job is running first? You need to set recurring Schedule in such a way that "Information management policy" job should run before the "Expiration policy".
Also check ULS log for more information about issue.

Is there any SDK present to to generate and schedule Books in Hyperion Financial Reporting?

HFR is the designer. You will want to try the SDK for Workspace. Specifically Batch Scheduler. I believe there are some command line capabilities.
