Unable to save a mix for offline listening, any id...
I created a mix of old time music for my mother to listen to with Mixradio. The music is great, but I would like to save it for offline listening as she does not have internet. I have been able to save other music for offline listening, but after a download attempt on the old time mix, it says Not Downloaded. Are there some mixes that are not able to be saved offline? Can you save mixes you have created offline or only the already generated mixes? I have a Nokia Limia 520 in the US.
Memory doesn't always mean gigs. If your computer was on for a lenght of time and you were doing a lot of other things during that time, your computer's working memory can get filled up and is most likely what happened. I doubt anything is corrupt. Computers get silly sometimes.

Whenever I am prompted that there are updates available for downloading for any of the CS6 related programs including Encore, I get the following message.

There was an error installing this update. Please quit and try again later. Error Code: U44M1I210. Quitting and trying again makes no difference. Is anyone able to help please?Okay.

Many of the updates you see are for associated elements that may not be needed (e..g. camera raw files).
For Encore, on PC, the latest version is 6.0.2. On Mac, 6.0.1. If you have that version, you do not need to update. -
Unable to save ANY types of files in Elements 5.0
Today I was working with Elements, creating a photomanipulation. This involved several layers, including a background of a beach, a horse, and some text. I've done this before with this exact same program on this exact same computer and not had too many problems. But not today.
Today when I try to save my creation, in ANY format, I get this message:
Could not save as
"C:\Users\User\...\Untitled-1.jpg" because the file is already in use or was left open.
GAHH!!!! Well of COURSE the stupid file is open, I'm working ON IT and trying to save my work!!! If I try to close the file, I get the standard question:
Save changes to the Adobe Photoshop Elements document "Untitled-1" before closing?
to which if I say yes, I get the same old crap:
Could not save as
"C:\Users\User\...\Untitled-1.jpg" because the file is already in use or was left open.
Now if I select save as *PSD or *PDD, *SOMETIMES* it acts like it has saved my work, (Instead of just saying it can't) but when I look for what I saved, all I find are a bunch of crap files that can't be opened. Example:
Cannot open 'C:\Users]User\Pictures\Photo Manips\~ps2AA0.tmp' because it is the wrong type of file.
Please note that I never actually chose to save ANY files called ~ps2aa0.tmp at any point in this process.
So I am stuck in a vicious cycle where before everything was working just fine. And it's not just editing photos or doing manipulations. I can take a brand new blank canvas, scribble a line on it with a paintbrush, and I am completely and totally unable to save even the simplest thing in ANY format whatsoever.
I tried uninstalling Elements and reinstalling it and that did absolutely nothing, except cause me to lose all the special effect brushes I spent hours downloading. And when I started it back up, I was right where I was before, it even had the same custom color preloaded on the palette, as if it did not truly uninstall AT ALL. (Just the special brushes were missing, thanks for nothing!)
My computer is maybe 8 months old now, a nice Hewlitt Packard with Vista. I specifically bought this computer so I could do more things with my art and more photos, and the first thing I loaded on it was the Bamboo tablet by Wacom, which came with Photoshop Elements 5.0 free. I've been using it ever since with hardly a problem and now today, I can't save the simplest little thing, and it is really aggravating me to death.
ANY light that anyone could shed on this would be most appreciated. I'm sure it's something extremely stupid, like I found the secret invisible "do not save anything ever again" button and somehow managed to press it. Whatever it is, I can not for the life of me figure out how to make it work like it's SUPPOSED to work. Somebody please help me before I go stark raving mad.Further note: I have uninstalled this stupid program now THREE different times, including using a registry cleaner, which then deleted my DVD drive, thankyouverymuch. And even after I got the DVD drive back so I could reinstall the program, it was like I'd never uninstalled it (with the exception of the custom brushes still being missing) right down to the canvas size and paint color I had been using when all this started.
So uninstalling it does nothing, resetting preferences does nothing... I can not save my work, period. I've been fighting with this for about 8 hours and I am so frustrated I could just throttle someone with my bare hands for putting me through this crap.
For a product that came bundled with a $200 graphics tablet, it sure isn't worth a damn. Anybody got any ideas? I'm at my wits' end here. -
how can i stop an error message that comes up when i am using word? the error message is "word is unable to save the Autorecover file in the location specified. Make sure that you have specified a valid location for Autoreover files in Preferences,…"
It sounds like if you open Preferences in Word there will be a place where you can specify where to store autorecover files. Right now it sounds like it's pointing to somewhere that doesn't exist.

Microsoft Office 2004 (Word) unable to save files
I have been running Office 2004 on my Intel iMac with Snow Leopard for some time and all of a sudden I cannot save a document. Word just stopped responding and I have to force quit. I can open Word and create a new document but I cannot save it. I reinstalled Word but that didn’t help. Then went to the Internet and found at least one other Mac user having the same problem which it suggests is caused by a recent Mac Security Update:

So I check for a new Mac Security Update and sure enough there was one. I downloaded it and now Word seems to be working, as it should. I can both open and save files. The only problem remaining is that when I open Word I get the following error message “An unexpected error occurred while trying to load the Microsoft Framework library”. I contacted Apple but they were unable to help.
How can I get rid of this error message?Look, I realize you might have to get your machine working, so this is how you revert back.
Restore proceedure to pre-Security Update 2012-001 v 1.0 & v 1.1
#1 Backup your personal data off the machine.
Backup files off the computer (not to TimeMachine). If you don't have a external drive, get one and connect to the USB/Firewire port and simply drag and drop copy your User folder to the external drive, it will copy all your files. It's best to have two backups of your data off the machine when trying to restore.
Disconnect all drives now to prevent any mistakes from occuring.
#2 Reinstall OS X 10.6 from disk
Get out your 10.6 install disk and make sure it's clean and polished (very soft cloth and a bit of rubbing alcohol, no scratches) If your disk is borked, you'll have to order a new one from Apple with your serial number.
Hold c boot off the 10.6 disk (wired keyboard, internal optical drive), use Disk Utility First Aid to >Repair Disk of your internal drive (do not format or erase!!), Quit DU and simply re-install 10.6.
Note: Simply reinstalling 10.6 version from disk (without erasing the drive) only replaces 10.6.8 with 10.6.x and bundled Apple programs, won't touch your files (backup anyway) or most programs, unless they installed a kext file into OS X itself. (only a few on average do this)
#3 Update to 10.6.8 without Security Update 2012-001 v1.0 or v1.1
Reboot and log in, update to 10.6.8 via Software Update, but EXCLUDE THE Security Update 2012-001 by checkinig the details and unchecking the blue check box.
#4 Reinstall any non-working third party programs
When you reboot, make sure to reinstall any programs that require kext files installed into OS X, you'll know, they won't work when you launch them or hang for some reason as they are missing the part they installed into OS X.
If for some freakish reason you get gray screen at any time when booting (possible it might occur when you reinstall older programs), hold the shift key down while booting (Safe Mode, disables kext files) and update your installed third party software so it's compatible with 10.6.8.

I can't install an application becouse the Apple Store is asking for additional security questions but the system is unable to save the security unswers provided.
i am having this exact problem, installing through itunes works fine but obviously i wont have itunes available when im out, its driving me mad i cant install anything because the third security question just stays highlighted blue and i cant select a question which obviously means i cannot continue to install....has ANYBODY got a solution please?

Can I save multiple web pages for offline viewing?
I'm just about to head off on a big trip and there's a great travel website that I'd like to save.
I dimly remember in the early 2000s it was possible to save an offline version of a webpage and specify how many depths of links also to save, i.e. you could save a page, all the linked pages on that page, all the linked pages on those linked pages and so on.
I'd really like to do that so I can access this website and one layer of (internal) links for offline viewing.
I'm on a Macbook Pro with 10.6.8 with Safari 5.1.10 (but can access a MB Air with 10.9.x if need be).

try the newer version, since the 10.6 one at least doesn't handle depth (limits : levels in the preferences) very sensibly for saving webpages. -
I am puzzled by the meaning of iMac (Intel) as I use an iMac 2 period. I am running Mac : Office 2004 and do all my quotations in Excel. After upgrading to OS X LION, I am suddenly unable to SAVE my spreadsheets. As a salesman whose quotations need frequent updating, my situation is perilous to say the least. Can anyone help me ?
Office for Mac 2004 is NOT compatible with Lion. It must be upgraded to Office for Mac 2008 or 2011, once you have upgraded the files will be accessable. Office for Mac 2004 is written for old PPC (Power PC) based machines. Beginning with Lion support for PPC based apps has been dropped.

IPHONE 4 + "io6". I am unable to save a photo from another app (for example FACEBOOK) to the Camera Roll. I press & hold photo, window indicates "Save Photo" comes up, I press that option & the window goes away but the photo is not in Camera Roll. Please advice...

So basically, my Ipod5 was working normally earlier today but then the screen just randomly went black and I cant get it to turn on. The problem though, is that for the past 15 weeks, it has been telling me that it is unable to save anything to the cloud due to a lack of space. I don't really care about anything other than my pictures and I'm wondering if there is any way for me to get them back even if my Ipod doesn't work?

How to save downloaded files from safari for offline use?
Need help how to save downloaded PDF or images from Safari for offline use. On Mac or PC, we "save as" the files. How do you do it on safari on iPhone?
You can't detach email attachments as separate files, though you can view supported formats as attachments. If you're viewing webmail with Safari, the attachments aren't saved on the iPhone.
Apple hasn't made any announcements about new feature for the iPhone and rarely does. The other iPhone users in this user-to-user forum have no access to unannounced Apple plans, and speculation about them is prohibited by the forum Terms of Use.

Unable to Save more than 1 Business-object-provider for the Connector.
I m using MEP 1.0 Platform.
My Ecbo Connector "BankDb" had initially "Account" Object Provider which i was able to save successfully via the MEP console.Later on i added the "Statement" Object Provider to the same connector. But i get this Exception

I shut down my Server & then restarted it.i removed the AccountObject Provider & Added StatementObject Provider instead & clicked save & it saved my Connector Successfully But when i tried to add the AccountProvider too i get the same exception.In short i am unable to save both providers at the same time in the console.
I googled later on & found something Similar on java.net

You could combine your account and statement data into a single composite business object. You could also upgrade to MEP 1.1 and use the dynamic data feature (JerseyME) on the client to retrieve dynamic data such as the statement report and use the business-object-provider for the synchronized data, ie. the account activity. Here maps: Unable to download portugal for offline...
I am unable to download portugal for offline use. I tried a few other maps and could download them. It gets stuck on "preparing download 0%".
Nokia Lumia 920. Version of here maps is 3.5.487.8, mapdata 8.30.53.110.
It's all very dissapointing since I'm going to Portugal in about 36 hours.
I have been trying to download this map the whole day.I will make it a little easier for whatever support does exist out there..
I can download other maps fine (tried sweden and belgium).
However I cannot download portugal map, or update any of the downloaded maps I already have.

I reinstalled the Here maps app
I am 100% sure I have internet connection via WiFi(100mbit fiber). Obviously since I could download other maps.
However just a few minutes ago I was able to update maps and download my portugal maps. I want to mention that I downloaded two other maps while trying and portugal map never worked until just a few minutes ago, neither did updating current maps. -
