Unable to save contact sheet to pdf adobe

I am trying to save a contact sheet to pdf adobe, however the program is not responding. How can I fix it?

Hi,
You can also print to any printer installed on your system so if you have Acrobat installed you can print the contact sheet to PDF or you can search the internet for "PDF Printer" and there are many free PDF Print drivers out there you can test to see which suits you better.
If you are using Windows you can also use the Microsoft XPS Document Writer and the free XPS Document Viewer is available for download from Microsoft.

  • Lightroom 5.4 and Acrobat XI Pro - print contact sheet to PDF not working

Since upgrading to Lightoom 5 and Adobe Acrobat XI Pro, I have been unable to print a contact sheet to PDF. Although it goes through the motions of rendering and providing a "save as" dialog box, nothing is produced. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the quick reply. The following are my system specs. This feature has worked in the past but since upgrading from LR4 to LR5, this feature has stopped working. I can print to a printer, but not to a PDF.
    HP Z800 Workstation
    Duel Intel Xeon X5670 @ 2.93GHz Processors
    18 GB RAM
    Windows 7 Professional
    Lightroom 5.4
    Acrobat XI Pro (Version 11.0.06.70)
It will go through the motions, as if it is creating the PDF, but it doesn't output anything. I've restarted Lightroom and rebooted my system, but nothing seems to help.

  • Contact Sheets as pdf

    Hi everyone,
I recently upgraded my computer to a Core i5 750, 8Go Ram, dual 24" screen and Win 7 64 bits. I also got Lightroom 3, update
from the previous one. I used to export my contact sheets as pdf with PrimoPDF (sorry, not adobe) and it was working fine but since
all these hardware and softwares upgrades, Lightroom 3 keeps on freezing everytime I try to generate and save a contact sheet as pdf.
I had a look in the task manager, it's eating up to 4Go of Ram and sometimes it even completely froze the computer with 8 Go of ram used...
Exporting the contact sheets as jpg is fine.
    Any idea?
    Cheers
    Olivier

Hi, sorry for my late reply, I've been really busy lately.
I have tried with pdfcreator and what you suggested but everytime it crashed Lightroom. I eventually removed Lightroom, did a reinstall, it looks like it's working now. But I feel that Lightroom is crashing way too much compared to version 2.7.
    Thanks anyway.
    Cheers

  • Photoshop Help | Contact Sheets and PDF Presentations in CS6

This question was posted in response to the following article: http://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/using/contact-sheet-pdf-presentation-cs6.html

If I understand your question you want to repeat one image 8 times in one signle page PDF. I do not know for such script that is available. What I can recommend you is to create manually layout in Photoshop and save as PDF. To automate proccess and use same layout but to replace image which is in use with some other, you can use Variables or Actions. Thats only advice I can give you at this time. Actually easiest way to automate things and replace images is to Create Smart Object then to clone it 7 times (Ctrl + J or right click > Duplicate Layer). When you have cloned Smart Objects, replacing content in one of Smart Object will reflect to all other clones. Create layout. When you want to replace existing image with some other use right click on Smart Object > Replace Contents or Layer > Smart Objects > Replace Contents.. Be aware of image (which will replace existing) size and resolution, Photoshop will also scale image which will replace existing to match existing image scaling in percentage. Read this tutorial for more explanation how Replace Contents works http://adobephotoshopsecrets.blogspot.com/2011/01/replace-contents-command-in-adobe.html

  • Form Creation in Acrobat X Pro - unable to save as Reader Extended PDF

I am using Acrobat X Pro on the Windows 7 OS. I have created a document in Word (Office 2010), saved it as a PDF and added form fields. When I try to Save As Reader Extended PDF, the options are grayed out. How do I create a form from a Word document that allows all end users to be able to type in the fields, use a digital signature, save a copy and print the PDF with the completed fields?

In create the document in MS Word and save the file. Then I select print, and choose Adobe PDF as my printer to save it as a PDF. I then open the PDF file and select Tools, Forms, to create the form and add fields as needed. After I'm finished, I attempt to "Save As" and try to select Reader Enabled PDF, but the options are grayed out and unavailable.

  • Indesign Contact Sheet script for Adobe Bridge 1.0.4.6

Our company currently has all the Adobe CS2 products but as stand alone applications and not part of the Creative Suite. Therefore, we don't seem to have all the functionality of the suite.
In particular the script to create Contact Sheets from Indesign CS2 of items through the script in Adobe Bridge.
Can anyone tell me if there is a way to add the functionality of the contact sheet script for Indesign to Bridge without having the Adobe Creative Suite? And Why?
We are looking for something to replace an extension used by Quark to create contact sheets from Badia software. I am loath to upgrade this extension unless absolutely necessary. We receave thousands of photo's a week and output contact sheets for our editors to pick and choose which photos they want/like.
    Thanks in advance.

Why? Are you talking CPU hours or staff-hours? Does your workflow require heavy
user interaction or is something else the problem?

  • Unable to print contact sheets.

The computer prints to a network printer.  I am unable to print a contact sheet.  It just disapears.  I also have acrobat 11 and it will not create a file.

I just fired up my iPhoto 6.0.6 under Mt. Lion and I have no contact option in that version either.  You'll have to upgrade to at least iPhoto 7 (08) in order to get contact sheets back.  So you might as well upgrade to the latest iPhoto from the App Store.
If you also want the latest versions of iWeb and iDVD (which have been discontinued by Apple) you'll have to purchase a copy of the iLife 11 disc from a 3rd party retailer like Amazon.com: iLife 11.

  • Contact sheet to pdf

when i to create my contact sheet for this assignment  the contact template is 4x6  the contact sheet is single contact with 25 photos per contact sheet.  i get this set up. go to print to pdf.  when done printing to pdf thumbnails have lines and are cropped according to my teacher can anyone help i have photoshop lightroom3

No, I still think it is lightroom
Print to PDF works just fine from other applications
For 145 images from one day's photos (8 rows 6 coumns):
(This is a multiple page document)
JPEG from lightroom 300 ppi 92 quality
    Lightroom has locked
Preparing Pring Job, Rendering Page 1 on the final image of that page
No such thing as a multiple page JPEG, but Lighrooom seems to not know that
If I just select 48 images (one page)
    Size: 3,287 kb
PDF From Bridge 300 ppi 92 quality (4 pages)
Then the file size is reduced in Acrobat (Document > Reduce File Size...)
    Size: 775 kb
The Print Module is not too hardy

  • Unable to print Contact Sheets from iPhoto

    Hi there,
Since installing Lion 10.7.5 on my Mac Pro I no longer get the option to print Contact Sheets from iPhoto. I'm running quite an old version of it I think (Version 6.0.6), however this was no problem before the upgrade.
Can anyone suggest a solution for this?
    Thanks in advance.

  • My client is unable to save the filled in pdf whilst I can ? Part2

I followed instructions as per my earler post and enabled the usage rights see image below.
I found the path was (thanks to jersey girl) at under Advanced select"Extend Features in Adboe Reader" in Acrobat 9.
The pop upbox below appears, I selected the "Save Now"
    1.  My query is the information in the pink circle, What does it mean it laymans terms ?
    2.  IT says certain functions will be restricted.....What functions exactly ?
    3.  It says editing document.....Is that the document you have just enabled usage rights to ?
    4.  If you are unable to edit the document after the change, what do you do is the client want to , say add a filed ? REDO THE COMPLETE FORM ?
    5.  The last line says "Will be restricted"  does that mean permanantly ? Or if somthing can be restricted it usualy be un-restricted ?
That pop up box leaves me with so many questions. I want to be good at creating Adobe forms but I need to knoe their parameters.  HELP please

In layman terms except for filling in the form, adding comments or adding a signature the pdf file cannot be edited or changed in any substatial manner. You cannot add field, edit text, you name it. HOWEVER, you can save a copy of the file and it will have the the extended rights removed and you can do to it whatever can be done normally to a pdf file. HOWEVER, the copy will not allow a user of Reader to save new information or edited information until usage rights have ben re-enabled.

  • Unable to save changes to embedded PDF inside Excel 2007

I'm using Excel 2007 & opening a document (in xls format).  I embed an Acrobat 9 Pro PDF file into it.  I right-click on the embedded PDF & choose Open, then make changes to it & try to save but I get "The document could not be saved.  Cannot write to this file.  Please save the document with a different name or in a different folder" error.  How do you edit embedded PDF documents inside Excel 2007?  Note: I can save the PDF externally, then edit it and put it back inside the Excel workbook.  Thanks in advance for any help.

    Hi Amita
actually when i tried to modify the XDP file, i found that for all DCs in that particular track no XDP file has been generated. also that the templateSource property of the InteractiveForm UI Element is blank while as it should point to the template on file system.
i checked the SAPNote 822198 as suggested on this thread Link: [Adobe Document Server issues - cannot save metadata of interactive form UI; but it has not solved my issue.
can you please suggest wat the issue might be??

  • How do I save a contact sheet?

How do I make and save a contact sheet as I don't print at home so need to save it not print it? I have Elements 5, just ordered Elements 7 (havent even recieved it yet) and now 8 has been released (don't you hate that!). Help will be appreciated!

PDF995 is a free utility that converts any kind of document into a PDF file.  It functions like a printer driver.  Instead of sending the document (the contact sheet) to a real printer, send it to PDF995, which will create a PDF file that can be printed anywhere.
    http://www.pdf995.com/download.html
Another free utility is IrfanView (www.irfanview.com).  It will let you create and save contact sheets in JPEG or other picture formats.
