Unable to "See" all photos in newly sent Photocast

On Wed. evening (it is now Friday morning), my son sent me a Photocast with 16 photos. Then yesterday morning he added 15 more. Even though the syncing symbol spins around (I've prompted it many times), the new 15 did not come through. I just had the blank boxes surrounded by the white dotted lines. Finally two of the photos came through when I went back to my computer yesterday afternoon. Still no sign of the others. By chance, I found that the photos are actually there and I am able to drag to the desktop and see them either in "Preview" or I can drag them into my Library (in source panel) and view them perfectly. Wonder why are they not visible in the photocast folder?

Try rebuilding the database, see if it helps:
Hold down the apple and option keys and launch iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild.

  • Unable to see All Photos when changing wallpaper in iOS 8

I am unable to see All Photos when I'm changing the wallpaper in iOS 8.  I can only see my Albums that I've synced from my computer and Recently Added. Is this is a bug, moved the feature or just some odd thing going on with my phone?
Workaround: I can go to the actual photo in the Photos app, select it and send it to "Use as Wallpaper"
    Device: iPhone 5S 32GB CDMA
    iOS: 8

  • Unable to view all photos in version 8.1.2. Can only see last 18 month.

Unable to view ALL photos in V 8.1.2  Only able to view past 18 months.

    Wild guess:
    Option 1
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Rebuild iPhoto Library Database from automatic backup.
    If that fails:
    Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one. .

  • I am unable to see the photos which i have taken with iPhone on the photostream option of ipad

I am unable to see the photos which i have taken with iphone on my ipad ( photostream features is not working). i have checked the settings of both devises and photostream of both is working.

Are you talking about older pictures you took before turning photo stream on?  If so, they don't sync via photo stream.  You have to sync them to a computer's itunes then sync to other device.

I am unable to import all photos to IPhoto on computer.  At a certain photo the following message appears:  IPhoto cannot import your photos
because there was a problem downloading an image.  How can I circumvent this particular image and import all other photos?

I'm having the same issue.  i have imported everything but the offending photo from my iPhone.  problem is, with over 5000 pics, i have no idea how to find THAT ONE pic that won't import (bc I just get a greyed out pic image - with no data in iPhoto)
any idea how to get "date taken" info of THAT ONE pic out of iPhoto (or any metadata) so I don't have to search 3 years of pictures?

  • EAM: Unable To See All Construction Estimate Lines.

I have a construction estimate that has almost 156,000 lines uploaded.
When I navigate to Maintenance Super User > Construction Units > Construction Estimate > Search for the Construction Estimate.
It only shows Maximum of 1005 records.
I queried the Construction Estimate through SQL to verify the number of lines it shows all 155,000 records,
But I am unable to see all the records from Self-Serivce page.
    Any Solution?

  • HT201317 Unable to see uploaded photos on photostream

I have set up my iPad 2 and my PC desktop. I manually uploaded photo to photo stream, but am unable to see photo from iPad.  Any ideas?

Great tips, all, 99jon, @dj_paige, and @JimHess. Appreciate the help. Ran through each of these steps, which I should have mentioned. Here are a couple of notes:
Not a smart collection. Just a simple collection that I created and added photos into.
None of the images have been moved. Is there a way to see where the source images are stored? I backed up the images on an external so it crossed my mind that somehow the collection is referenced externally...but I'm not sure how I can even see where the collection itself is stored.
Toggled on/off both the No Filters and Filters Off features. There are definitely no filters on...
    Thanks again.

  • Can't see all photos on Camera Roll on laptop

I have a slightly unusual problem with my iPhone. I have downlaoded quite a few camera and photo apps from the app store. All of these work fine on the phone itself and I can view all pictures taken and edited with the various apps on the camera roll on the phone. My problem occurs when I connect my iPhone to my laptop and access it using Windows Explorer. When I do this I can only see the photos taken on some of the apps and not all of them. Photos taken using ClassicPAN, ClassicToy, ShakeItPhoto, Pro HDR, Pano to name a few can't be found. If I want to transfer photos from any of these apps to my laptop I have to email them but I have hundreds of photos so this is not feasible. I have a brand new Samsung laptop so maybe some of the settings are wrong but I don't even khow where to begin looking. I would appreciate any help you might be able to give me.

What visual presentation do the other 900 photos have? A Dotted Square? Do you get a ! or ? when you double click on them?
IF so: The ! or ? turns up when iPhoto loses the connection between the thumbnail in the iPhoto Window and the file it represents. The most common cause of this is User Activity in the iPhoto Library Folder. Have you altered, moved or renamed anything in the iPhoto Library Folder?
If you haven't, then try rebuilding the database. Hold down the apple and option keys and launch iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild.

  • I do not see all photos exist inside a shared photo stream using iPhoto on Mac

There is a shared photo stream among 5 different users with 125 photos and videos inside. For my account I use 3 different devices to access this photo stream, an iMac, an iPad and an iPhone. All 125 photos appear ok on my iPad and my iPhone. However when I access this stream from iPhoto on my iMac I only see 69 of them. None of the photos I have shared using my accound are there plus some other photos and videos shared by other users. Other users can see all 125 photos in their mobile devices. What is wrong with iPhoto on my iMac?
    Thanks in advance,

    OSX version 10.8.5
    iPhoto version: 9.4.3
With these versions you cannot see the contents posted on IOS 7.0.4 devices by the persons invited to the stream. You will only be able to see the photos streamed by the owner.
If you want to see the photos added by the subscribers to the stream, you need to upgrade to Mavericks and iPhoto 9.5.1. Mt. Lion does not support the new shared photo streams of IOS 7.0.4 fully.

  • Can't see all photo's in iPhoto

I tried to duplicate a photo in iPhoto library however after performing the duplicate I cannot open the photo in iphoto. I can see the photo in the top sliding bar (sorry don't know the right name) if I click on the photo in the top sliding bar it should display in the lower half of the screen in a larger size, all that is displayed is a grey box with a white dotted line in place of the picture and a grey exclamation in the middle.
I can see the photo original and duplicate on the hard drive by navigating to the Picture directory>>iphoto>>originals. I can open the photos in Preview.
    Thanks for any help.

I suggest that you create a new library and start again. This wil repair the links to previously lost pics, plus any database corruption that's causing the current issue.
To create and populate a new library:
Note this will give you a working library with the same film rolls and pictures as before, however, you will lose your albums, keywords, books, calendars etc.
Move the iPhoto Library Folder to the desktop
Launch iPhoto. It will ask if you wish to create a new Library. Say Yes.
Go into the iPhoto Library Folder on your desktop and find the Originals folder. From the Originals folder drag the individual rolls to the iPhoto Window and it will recreate them in the new library.
When you're sure all is well you can delete the iPhoto Library Folder on your desktop.
In the future, in addition to your usual back up routine, you might like to make a copy of the library6.iPhoto file whenever you have made changes to the library as protection against database corruption.

  • Can't see all photos

    Hey.
Why can't i see all my photos after recovery?
They are all there (same number as before) but many of them are just grey thumbnails marked with JPG and PNG text. When you open them they look exactly the same as the thumbnails. When i try to send or edit one of them the phone takes me back to my homescreen..
    It's look like this.......

  • ITunes doesn't see all photos in Adobe

Have 60GB iPod. 28GB music. I'm using iTunes 5.0 and Adobe Photoshop Elements 3.0. I have 11,000+ photos so I've created three collections in PSE with 50, 300 and 900 photos in each. Syncing iTunes to these three collections, iTunes only sees 475 photos in one collection, 3 in another and zero in the third. It only syncs the found 478 photos. Why doesn't it see all of the photos in the three collections? I have deleted the iPod Cache folder then re-synced and this did nothing.

From Germany with not perfect English:
I had similar problem. Files that were not transferred had either no file-ending (.tif and .jpg-files without these endings are not synct) or a wrong ending (.pdf for example).
And the Apple-Hotline told me, a next iPod-software-update would allow a better sorting photos on the iPod. (Actually you can not use folders in folders, and all Photoes are sorted by date; a little help may be a count-number at the beginning of the file-name: 01.... 02.... 03... This helps, however it is not a good work for so many photos as you have.)
