Unable to see few options in User management console - Hyp S 9 SS

In the User management console, unable to find the option "Add new user" under the browse pane 'User Directories'.
Is there any changes required in the configuration ?

I assume once the Hyperion system 9 Share services is configured for the particular user. The user management console should have the provision to "Add New users" to the "User Directory"
I think this is not related to user/groups that we add in the analytic server security option.
Since this is the administration activity in the HFM, this option should exist for the issue. To bring this option is there any feature/option that needs to installed ?

Hi,
You get back your MMC , please do the following steps.
1. Go to Run and type MMC.
2.Go to file and select add/remove snap in ( alt+m).
3.Click on add
4.Select the SAP system from there.
Save the MMC console which you have created now....This should work fine.

Normally using BEx Broadcasting you can save the report in diff. format.
First check the setting for BEx Broadcasting in

500 "Server error" when use User Management Console

Hello All, i'm staring with Hyperion products on this week))
I installed Shared Serveces and Essbase – System 9
I deployed Shared Serveces on OAS 10.1.3.1
And now when I use User Management Console and try to open
node 'Projects' I get an error 500 "Server error".
Why ?
Please help me resolve this issue
What's wrong? May be I have to install additional components to use Projects?

I found follow error in my OC4J where deployed "User Management Console"

Unable to see/Export All existing users of MSAD-Shares Services

Hi Dear all !
Please help me to resolve an issue.
I have configures shared services in MS Active directory and it users.
but problem is that i m unable to see all users in User list in shared services under active directory.while i click n "show all" option its showing only 4 pages of records.
but if i m searching a user which is not displaying in those pages , i got that user..
Also while exporting the user list i have only users which are displaying in user list (in 4 pages)..not all users details are exported.
Please, anybody let me know the solution !!

If you really want to export all users from MSAD, then you should probably be looking into MSAD/LDAP utilities for that purpose. If what you really mean is that you want to export all user and group assignments that you've set up in Shared Services, then take a look at the Lifecycle Management or CSSExport utilities.

Unable to see Planning application under calculation Manager

Hello All,
I created a Planning application in workspace and choose the Sahred Service Project as APS server.Now I want to create business rules.For that when I m lunching Calculation Manager from workspace, I m not able to see the appliaction that I had created before ,under Planning option of Calculation Manager.

I think you created a classic planning applications. Calc manager will not recognize classic planning applications in version 11.1.1.2 and prior.
You need to create a planning applications via EPMA and then you will see this in calc manager. If you have already opened calc manager, right click on the Planning node and do a refresh to synchronize the applications from EPMA.

It only displays two options - 'Contents' and 'Properties'

What’s the detail version of your TFS and VS?
I think you may connect to TFS 2010, if that is the case, please connect to TFS 2012 and check the result.

Unable to see SAP option in Authentication tab in CMC

Hi All,
We installed BusinessObject and its related softwares on RedHat EL5 in the following order,
1. BusinessObjects Enterprise XI 3.1
2. Installed SAP Java Connector 2.1.8
3. BusinessObjects Integration Kit XI 3.1 for SAP solutions
The installation got completed without any issues.
We can able to see SAP option and Window AD in the logon screen of CMC. But, both of the options (SAP and Window AD) is not appearing inside Authentication in CMC.
Following is the environment:
RHEL5, Tomcat, Mysql
Kindly, let us know how to resolve the issue.

yes, we are able to see bothfolders SAP and PartnerPlatformServices. We reinstalled SAP Kit but still no use. We can able to see on the logon page of CMS, but the same is not coming in Authentication inside CMC.

Unable to find SAP Server in SAP Management Console

I installed NSP Server in my Windows XP i used to work on this system.
I downloaded 90days licence from SAP site and it is valid upto 20060701.
Today we i try to start NSP Server using SAP Management Console there is server appearing in the tree which is usually appear in left panel.
Could any body help me how retrive the Server in SAP Management Console

check the following service is running under windows service manager.
control panel->Administrative tool ->services
find the following service
sapnsp_instance number.
this service might be stop. start it.
also check the logon information for service.
now check the sap MMC.

*problem shown with images* Iphoto deleted my pictures, unable to see them in iPhoto Library Manager either

Hello everyone! First post here. I have searched endless amount of forums and finally decided to post my problem.
Today my images from Iphoto went missing. When I tried to open the iphoto app, it gave me an error that the files were unreadable and therefore not imported.
Then I tried to rebuild iphoto by holding down option and command. I tried every option and it would still show my iphoto as 0 pictures.
I tried to view my images by going to the show packages option but it doesnt display the masters or originals files..
lastly I downloaded the Iphoto library manager and it was able to detect my pictures, but I could not see them or import/rebuild the library.
Does anyone have a solution to this problem? When I tried to view the images it also shows a white triangle with a question mark in the middle. I beleiev the caption also says missing.tiff. Any help would be appreciated. I just recently got my macbook air so I have not done any backups.

I also noticed that my photo booth pictures got deleted as well. I'm trying to recover images through a recovery software and it does give me the option to look at the masters file, but there is nothing in there...
Also how could the Iphoto manager show that I have the 900 pictures? even though I am unable to actually see the image.. Could it be these pictures formats were changed somehow?

Unable to see Default alias in Identity management

Hi Experts!!!!!
I have added a new system in the portal which connects my backend system, I have defined the system alias and in the screen it shows me the alias is ready for user mapping,
But i have selected SAPLOGON ticket, then the system is not visible in the identity management.But when i select uwidp the system is available for user mapping.Due to this the connector test gets failed.
I have seen in some of the posts and found that eu_role should be given in permissions i have done it.Does this needs server restart to make the changes to take effect.
What would be the problem I am able to see the alias in the other system when i selected SAPLOGON ticket.
After creating the alias do we need to make any changes?
I have followed the help document of SAP.

basically, SAP NetWeaver Portal offers two different Single Sing-on techniques to connect seamlessly with integrated backend systems.
1) SAP Logon Ticket
2) User Mapping
This are two totally different techniques to achieve the same goal: Single Sign-on.
Using SAP Logon Ticket, the SAP NetWeaver Portal issues an encrypted and signed HTTP coockie containing the portal user's logon id. The backend system checks the ticket and authenticates the corresponding user.
Using User Mapping, the SAP NetWeaver Portal uses previously given backend credentials (username/password) to log into backend application on behalf of the users. The user can enter his credentials either via personalization dialog (therefore the user needs the eu_core_role) or in identity management.
If you select SAP Logon Ticket the user does not need to map his backend credentials. That's why you do not see the system in the identity management (tab user mapping).
However, if you select User Mapping (UIDPWD) and run a connection test the SAP NetWeaver Portal tries to log into the backend system using the mapped credentials of the current user. If the current user did not map any credentials (or if he entered wrong credentials) the connection test will fail.

This is Md. Ashikur Rahman purchased a BB curve , model-8520 from India. Now I am in bangladesh & my service provider is Grameenphone. In the e-mail setup wizard I can see only one option which requires BB enterprise password to complete the set up. I think the other option- 'Add existing e-mail account' is locked.
My service provider is unable to unlock. How can I use that option so I can complete my e-mail set up & comunicate over internet?

Your service provider is exactly that...the provider of all of your services. If they cannot delivery PUSH email to you (or, for that matter, any other BIS-level services), then there's nothing anyone else can do.

Besides this, the WND_SELECTION_SCREEN view is embedded in the respective container as follows...
Tray - >Container - this container has the WND_SELECTION_SCREEN.
I can see the tray in the view cannot see any field (expectation was to see a select-option for BUKRS.
Any hints? Am i missing something. I have followed the tutorial for select options in webdynpro abap.
