Unable to see line items in segment clearing account

Friends,
Why we are unable to see the line items in intersegment clearing account/zero balance clearing account, eventhough the master is maintained as open item  and line item display.

Hi,
I have received the following error message.
Account 1999990, company code xxxx is clearing account
Message no. MSITEM111
Diagnosis
You have stored account 1999990 in company code xxxx as a clearing account. At the same time, you use line item management with this account.
System Response
Error message issued because line item display cannot read data for an account in a ledger if line items exist partially in the entry view together with clearing items for which there are no line items. In such cases, only the data with line items would be selected.
Procedure
Check the Customizing settings or account control. Change the settings so that only automatic postings without line items can be made to the account, or select a different account as the clearing account.

    Hi All,
    We are running automatic clearing over the GR/IR account using F.13 and matching items based on the assignment number.  When a clearing document is created it is generating a couple of extra line items which appear to be identical apart from the sign. 
    The additional line items are a debit and credit to the GR/IR account and when i compare them in BSEG they have identical data apart from teh posting key.
    Is this how SAP clears open items in the new gl?  Since in previous versions of SAP i have worked with, the clearing documents have no line items.

    OK so the original documents are a goods receipt and invoice receipt which are a Credit and Debit to the GR/IR account as normal
    The clearing document clears these off and posts two additional line items which are
    PK   Account            Amount
    40   20015 (GR/IR)   4298.89
    50   20015                4298.89
    So when i look at the clearing document and goto Environment > Payment Usage i can see the following documents

  • Document line item text in Clearing document

    Dear All,
    Document line item text
    My client want the vendor invoice line item text(BSIK-SGTXT) to be captured in the corresponding clearing document line item text field(BSAK-SGTXT).
    (i.e) The vendor invoice and its payment clearing document should have the same text in the document line item text filed.
    According to me i can use  a substition rule and a user exit to assign the values. but here comes a problem* i have one clearing document against 3 to 4 vendor invoice documents* so my programming logic has got stucked here? like which vendor invoice line item text the clearing document should pick up?
    is there any other enhancements possible or can some one help me with the programming logic to be applied here.

    Why don't you discuss the issue with your client?  As you said, if you pay 5 invoices in a single run, the payment document item text can't carry all of those texts unless you use the long text.  What is the reason for the requirement?  Perhaps there's another solution.

    Here you determine which information is to be made available on the screen when processing line items (for example, document type, document number, account number, company code).

  • Inter segment clearing account details - view

    Entries will be auto posted in inter segment clearing account, when two or more profit centre is there in a single document.  Now i want to view the details or line items.  How to view, through which document the entry is generated.
    From any table-field also now problem.

    Does anyone has an idea on this?
    The point is I dont understand why the difference is existing in intersegment/profit center clearing account.
    And the point is the account is showing up in the trial balance.

    It means no data found for your requirement.
    If you want to find out the list on base of G/L please enter G/L and click on all item.
    Other wise if you want to see only open item then click on open item and remove date from field of open item date.
    Also click on noted item and click on execute button

    In your ECC system follow below path and set Availability check rule to "B" (full delivery).
    SPRO --> SD --> Basic Functions --> Availability Check and TOR --> Availability Check --> Availability Check with ATP Logic or Against Planning --> Define Default Settings
    Select your sales area and set Availability check rule to "B" (full delivery).
    This should fulfill your requirement.

    Go to FS10N and check whether account balance. If there is balance on the account you need to Journal entry to make balance zero. Go to FS00 and tick line item display option. You can not select line item display option untill the balance is zero.

    This is standard behaviour...if line item which you are clearing have zero balance then system will not show any line items since open itemss are cleared....
    when you have tolerance difference or the residual posting then only system will show the line item....

  • Unable to block line item in a schedule agreemnet using ME32L

    When I am trying to block/delete one of the line items in a schedule agreement I am not able to do so. I am getting the error message "Document lines of document item (16) are in different fiscal years".
    Further the diagnosis message given is "If you are using Funds Management and want to set a carryforward level for the commitments documents, then all line items which belong to a document item (e.g. different schedule lines or account assignments of a purchase requisition belonging to the same purchase requistion item) must be created in the same fiscal year.
    Otherwise the criteria for setting this carryforward level are not clear"
    The procedure is given as "Check the respective date on which the different line items were updated and adjust it appropriately and instead generate a new document item (e.g. purchase item)"
    Can any of you throw some light on this.

  • Missmatch vendor line items and vendor clearing

    Hello all,
    Im faced with a strange issue that i need some help on.
    The transaction F-44 is very common in problems mainly due to wrong selection criteria but in this case the problem goes behond that.
    I have a vendor with a total balance in its line items (FBL1N). - Example: 1.000u20AC
    The line items has, in the vendor line, a base amount and tax amount showing the following
    Base amount: 1.000
    Tax: 200
    The document generate a amount of 200 in the VAT GL account correctly.
    The vendor line items shows me a total of 1.000u20AC but when i try to clear the open items i get a strange value of 1.200 showned.
    Its like the total Base + Tax is being carried in for the clearing transaction.
    I just need to compensate for the vendor balance it shows different value causing a missmatch in the totals corresponding to the amount of Tax I have in each line item.
    Im using a special GL indicator because its an Asset Supplier.
    Any idea what can this be related to?
    Have you ever had a vendor balance showing one amount and when you try to clear it it shows another one?
    Any help is highly appreciated.

  • Unable to delete line item with 0 quantity in Invoice.

    Hi Experts,
    I came across a Invoice which reflects in VF04 as pending Billing due list. When i checked at the inter company Invoice i came across a line item with "0" quantity and price as zero, interestingly the replinishment cross company delivery document  for the same line item for "0" quantity had a Batch assigned to it.
    Now the issue is cusotmer has selected the line item with XX quantity and have selected the accounting document to be generated but the line item with "0 was left over and now still reflects in VF04.
    Customer does not want to reverse the full cycle to resolve the issue since the document was created a year back.My Question  is can we get the line item with "0" quantity to clear accounting so that it will not reflect in VF04.If so what will be process to do that.

    Hi,
    It is  not possible to delete this line item, you can discuss with your client and delete it from the table.
    And now coming to the reasons why it has come into the invoice & Delivery
    1. The Batch Item category must have been configured as relevant for billing...check this and make it irrelevant if the client does not do batch specific billing. --- This will stop the batches from coming into the invoice.
    2.  Check for the batch item category in delivery if Zero quanity is allowed...if it is allowed make it not allowed and make it an Error message, whenever there is a zero quantity system will give a message.

  • Clearing of open line items in Exchange Vendor account

    Hi Friends,
    We have an issue related with the clearing of open items from the exchange vendor account. Details of issue are as follows,
    We have two open line items in an exchange vendor account (T-code FBL1N) pertaining to the Logistics purchase invoice and a credit memo. These documents are very old documents posted in the year 2005. When user tries to clear or net these documents using T-code FB1K( using the current period), SAP generates the clearing document, i.e. it gives only a clearing document number and sends an email to user stating that update has been terminated. When we try to view the clearing document so generated using T-code FB03, system do not finds it, i.e. it is actually not in system / tables. Also most important thing these open items continues to appear in the vendor account, i.e. they are not getting cleared.
    Some of our observations about the related exchange Purchase Order is that, this PO has document date 03/31/2004 having qty. 5659 GA. The very first GR and related invoice is also having qty 5659 GA and posting date of 03/31/2004. After this user had again created above mentioned documents that are in question i.e. invoice and credit memo. These documents were posted on 04/12/2005 for the qty of 22592 GA (Even though the PO qty is 5659 GA).
    Now we would like to know what would be the probable reason for these open items not getting cleared from the vendor account. Please note user also tried to clear these documents using F-44 T-code but no luck.

  • How to reverse a FI document with line item that is cleared and archived.

    Hi all,
    Appreciate your help on this.
    I have a FI document, say 1000001 with 3 line items.
    line 1 and 3 is open. line 2 is cleared by document 1000002.
    1000002 is subsequently being archived.
    Now, is there any way to reverse document 1000001?
    I can no longer do a FBRA (reverse and reset) since 1000002 is already archived.

    Dont know whether this helps.. but just a thought....
    i came across a note regarding reversal of an SD document when the corresponding FI document was already archived.. reversal was not working due to a program error (SAP note 410590). does the FI doc reversal also work on lines with SD doc reversal? (iam a layman here ) maybe u can consult SAP?

    Based on my experience std feature from SD-FI . Depending on the SD Billing config which can be by delivery(VTFL) or sales order(VTFA). You can assign options of A: Cust PO No. B Sales order no. C Delivery no. D External delivery no.  E Actual invoice number to available header fields of Assignment No. or Reference No. Try it out
