Unable to see Remote App and Desktop Connection in Group Policy Management Editor
I am unable to see the Remote App and Desktop Connection in Group Policy Management Editor on my 2012 R2 DC. I am therefore not able configure the connection URL in Access RemoteApp and desktops in our Windows 8.1 client environment.
Within the Group Policy Under User Configuration, Administrative Templates, Windows Components all I see is:-
RD Gateway
Remote Desktop Connection Client
Remote Desktop Session Host
But NOT
Remote App and Desktop Connection
Which I need. Is there anyway of adding this?> I am unable to see the Remote App and Desktop Connection in Group Policy

Do you use a central store for ADMX? Is this central store out of date?
(Means "still contains ADMX from W7/2008R2")

Unable to see other writer's checked check boxes in comments of shared review
I'm using Acrobat 3D Version 8 in a Windows XP environment. We are using SharePoint for shared reviews.
We are able to see developer's comments, and we can respond back to the comments with a reply. However, when we use the checkbox to indicate that a comment has been addressed, each writer can only see the checkmarks that she makes. We cannot see checkmarks made by other writers.
We have tried selecting the check box, and we have also used the check box icon to select the check box. We then publish and the the action is accepted as a comment and is published. But we are unable to see each other's check boxes.
Why?
Thanks!Solved on my own.
Simply close BEx Analyzer and restart it again. If still it doesn't work then restart your computer and then run BEx Analyzer again, it will definitely work.

Access other schema object from connection
Hi;
from the dbconnection, how can I access other schema object?
ThanksHi,
I don't know if I understand correctly but if you mean the scenario you connect to the database as SCOTT and you want to map table EMPLOYEES from HR schema, you can do it within wizard and in read only view object you
use schema name as prefix like select * from HR.EMPLOYEES. If you mean something else please describe it more.

NETWORK MAGIC UNABLE TO SEE OTHER COMPUTERS WITH NM IN THE SAME NETWORK MAP
I have two computers, one desktop (iMac OS X/Win 7 x64 bootcamp) wired connected and one PC laptop wireless connected in the same network through Linksys WAG320N, both running Network Magic ver. 5.5.9195.0-Pure0 (11.2.9195.1 12/13/2011) with the exactly same firewall settings allowing Pure Networks Platform Service to runs in Private and Public networks. The problem is that the both machines don’t see each other with Network Magic installed and therefore valuable features as screen shots or network speed test are not available. I already uninstalled NM in both equipments and reinstalled it, but the issue persists.
Anyone facing this same issue or have a clue on how to fix it?
Thanks,
VertigoAs Barney-15E has suggested, this looks very much like 2 routers, and some systems talking to router A and some systems talking to router B.
Bonjour protocols will NOT cross a router boundary, so systems on router A will only see other systems on router A, and systems on router B will only see systems on router B.
The recommented network setup is to make the router connected to the broadband connection be the ONLY router in the home and configure all other routers so they are in "Bridge" mode. That is to say, the other routers are configured so they just extend the primary router's subnet.
How a home router is put into bridge mode is different depending on the make and model of router.
In your case, I think the Belkin should be the primary router, and you should put the Time Capsule into "Bridge" mode. Applications -> Utilities -> Airport Utility -> Time Capsule -> Internet -> Connection Sharing: Off (Bridge Mode).
Once you put the Time Capsule in bridge mode, all your systems should be on the same Belkin subnet, and now Bonjour will see all the Macs in your home. -

Unable to see other OC4J nodes in a cluster
I have installed 2 instances of OracleAS on 2 separate machines, both machines ( Lnx-5 and Lnx-6 ) were installed with the J2EE component and WEB component.
During installation, I have selected Lnx-5 as the administration node of the cluster, and I have configured the discovery address using multicast address 225.0.0.33:8001.
There were no installations errors encountered and things seems to work fine.
However, on Lnx-5, it can't "see" Lnx-6 as one of its cluster nodes. On both Lnx-5 and Lnx-6, I see the following when I issued the "opmnctl @cluster status".
---- On Lnx-5 , here is what I got ---------
[root@Lnx-5 conf]# opmnctl @cluster status
Processes in Instance: Lnx5.anydomain.com
--------------------------------------------------------------+---------
ias-component | process-type | pid | status
--------------------------------------------------------------+---------
OC4JGroup:default_group | OC4J:home | 5392 | Alive
ASG | ASG | N/A | Down
HTTP_Server | HTTP_Server | 5391 | Alive
---- On Lnx-6 , here is what I got ---------
[root@Lnx-6 conf]# opmnctl @cluster status
Processes in Instance: Lnx6.anydomain.com
--------------------------------------------------------------+---------
ias-component | process-type | pid | status
--------------------------------------------------------------+---------
OC4JGroup:default_group | OC4J:home | 5392 | Alive
ASG | ASG | N/A | Down
HTTP_Server | HTTP_Server | 5391 | Alive
I suppose I should see both Lnx-5 and Lnx-6 when I issue the commad in either nodes.
I have also verified that both machine are synchronized to the NTP server.
I have also done a tcpdump on both nodes, indeed I can multicast ( 225.0.0.33:8001 ) packets arriving at both nodes..
Really need some help in what would have go wrong, what information should I look for to address this issue.
Thanks in advance!!Ok, for the discovery server configuration, here is the config that I have in the opmn.xml file, both lnx-5 and lnx-6 use exactly the same configuration :
<notification-server interface="ipv4">
<port local="6101" remote="6201" request="6004"/>
<ssl enabled="true" wallet-file="$ORACLE_HOME/opmn/conf/ssl.wlt/default"/>
<topology>
<discover list="10.1.230.11:6201,10.1.230.12:6201"/>
</topology>
</notification-server>
the ip address of Lnx-5 is 10.1.230.11, and Lnx-6 is 10.1.230.12.
Once this was configured on both Lnx-5, Lnx-6, I keep seeing this error from the Lnx-6's log file :
07/05/16 22:10:18 [pm-process] Process Alive: default_group~home~default_group~1
(1542677438:3859)

07/05/16 22:13:26 [ons-connect] Connection a,10.1.230.12,6201 connect (Connectio

Well, Once I enabled the debugging, there were some errors reported when opmn is started, the errors are as follows :

I have seen this problem cited on the forum but no solution. I have this in the C:\temp directory.
Thanks for any help.I'm new to jdeveloper, in fact, I come from the database side and wanted to see how 'easy' it might be to develop an application using ADF. So I really don't know much about Java. I changed the jdeveloper path from C:\Oracle\Middleware\jdeveloper to C:/Oracle/middleware/jdeveloper and the schema build script then worked. So even though I am using a Microsoft OS, we always use forward slash instead of backward slash? OK. This is good to know.

Can't see some tables name from connection navigation
I use sql developer to connect 10g database, I have 50 tables within a user, but it only shows 27 tables. I don't know why. Can anyone tell me ? Thx
We have 2 oracle10g database.
If I use Oracle Enterprise Manage(OEM), and login as user A, I can see all tables in both of 2 oracle10g database. but if I use SQL developer connecting with user A, SQL developer can see only part of tables ( about 1/2) in one database and all tables in another databse. I don't know why. but this two database has replication relationship. As I opinion, if I can see in OEM, I can also see in SQL developer.
anyway, I didn't apply filter. And my privilege is ok. Because I use below in user A:
select table_name from user_table. this select is only select the tables belong to user A, it has the same result with OEM.
Thanks anyway -
Can't see DDL of views from other schemas in Developer?
Hi,
I've seen elements of this problem in other threads but this problem of course has it's own twist.
I can see other schema's objects EXCEPT VIEW DDL.
I have given a user every role and priv that I can and they still can't see the view ddl of another schema. They can see procedures, functions etc. just not the view. I've found that if I use the user that created the users I can see the DDL of all subordinate users. Users created under that schema can not see each others views no matter what rights are given. Interestingly enough sometimes when I look to display view DDL it will flash the DDL briefly before blanking the screen. very frustrating. All the Toad fanboys are crowing about how they couldn't possibly use a tool that doesn't allow them to see other view source.
I have also looked for settings in the preferences but could find none.
Is this a bug? It seems like one to me.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks
MarkWe have a bug logged for this.

I am unable to see my Airport Extreme/Express on my MacBook via Airport Utility
I have two issues:
1. I am unable to see my Airport Extreme and my Airport Express via my MacBook Air's Airport Utility when I scan for Base Stations. However, the computer is happily connected to the wireless network of my Extreme (the Express is used to extend range)
2. I am unable to see a HDD that is connected via USB cable to the Airport Extreme.
Any suggestions welcome.
ThanksFurther info:
Setup
MacBook Air running OS X 10.5.8
AirPort Extreme Base Station
AirPort Express used to extend range
AirPort Utility v5.5.3
The MacBook Air is actually connected to the wireless network provided by the two AirPorts!
Oddly, I see both AirPorts just fine when using my older PowerBook G4 with an older version of the AirPort Utility.
In addition, I cannot see the external HDD connected to the AirPort Extreme Base Station, and my wireless printer (HP D410a) suddenly stopped working via the MacBook Air. However, it works just fine from my iPhone, which is connected to the same AirPort Extreme/Express wireless network.
Recently, at the request of Sky Broadband, I switched to fixed IP addresses instead of DHCP, as I was having issues with the DHCP set-up. -
Unable to see Wi-Fi status after connecting to power source. After tapping Settings > General > iTunes Wi-Fi Sync, the message reads: Sync will resume when "R300764AHWR001" is available. Could someone tell me how to sync my iPhone 3G to ITunes, please? Thank you. Jan
iPhone 3G doesn't support Wi-Fi sync or IOS 5.1.1. You have to connect to iTunes using the dock connector to sync.
Unless you have a iPhone 3GS or jailbroken.
